It’s alright

I guess it’s a fairly new app, but my problems with it aren’t bugs or glitches etc. First of all you only have the option to learn specifically about historical figures, rather than periods of history or conflicts. Secondly, you have to complete a quiz at the end of every chapter which hasn’t been covered in the chapter itself. Having to repeat the questions until you get them right is a little tedious.
The app is a little bare at the moment but it’s a new app, and they do preview what’s coming out next.
Positives, the artwork is really nice and it’s in very simple English so anyone can learn.
Not worth £60 a year, yet.

Nice approach but early days

Agree with past comments, nice app overall and learning very simple and nicely animated. Would pay for this in the future but early days currently, needs a lot more content to justify it

Good but not worth £60

I’m trialling the pro version and it’s really good, albeit a bit buggy at times. I assume the app is still being perfected though.
However, once my trial ends it wants me to continue by paying £60 a year. At the moment there are maybe seven stories (each of which takes about half an hour to complete). For that price I’d want at least 100 stories, plus extra content on the characters you want to learn more about.
Once there is significantly more content I would happily pay the money.

Great Idea

Despite some niggling typos, this app offers a great way to learn about history. Will consider upgrading to pro based on the quality and volume of future modules.

Cool concept

I downloaded because I thought it would be an interesting app! Largely, it is.
My only gripe so far is that at the end of every ‘module’ you have a quiz. These quizzes ask questions about information the ‘module’ hasn’t even mentioned, therefore you can’t answer them/get them wrong. What’s the point in having a quiz if you’re not using the information given to us and just using random facts instead?
