Really useful anchoring app and I like the beta functionality of being able to remotely monitor the boat providing of course you have internet at both ends.

Be alerted if your anchor drags with a simple yet full of features app :
- Easy to use: Click once to set anchor position, touch the alarm circle on map to adjust alarm radius and you're ready.
- Easy to set anchor position:
-> a button to set anchor at your current position
-> choose a position on the map: relocate anchor with drag and drop.
- Easy to use with standard map gestures (zoom, scroll ...)
- Remote mode : check your position and get alerted on a second device
- Enhanced track recording: The boat track is recorded and a time - colored path is displayed on map. You can identify at first glance whether your anchor position is drifting or not.
- Track management: enable, disable and reset the track. Export it by email in CSV format or GPX format.
- Possibility to choose the ringTone
- Works offline ! You still see your boat position relative to the anchor, the anchor position and the alarm circle. Once offline the map is replaced by a graphic.

Great app
This was pretty good before but now that I can monitor the app whilst ashore is a real improvement. Easy to use and clear. My only gripe would be that it would be nice if you could move the anchor by entering the coordinates rather than move the pin on the screen.
I recently had a problem with the monitoring on my iPhone. The support was excellent and it turned out that Vodafone Securenet had stopped the sharing so as soon as I entered the website as a trusted site, all was well again. Great app.

Crashes in Tonga
Was really impressed when using the app in NZ. Just crashes when I try to use it in Tonga (even though we have a good internet connection).

Brilliant app and brilliant support
I have been using this app for a number of years with great pleasure. Previously my wife was the anchor alarm, being a very light sleeper. Since using the app she has been delighted to be able to sleep soundly.
The remote monitoring feature is invaluable. In short, you get a mirror image of the active apple device on the boat on the second device you take ashore. This shows when last it connected to the boat, so you can be sure the image is up to date and you will get an alarm if the boat drags.
I was very upset recently when I was unable to get a connection between my two devices. I contacted the developer and Antoine provided an immediate and comprehensive investigation to track the fault. Eventually this was traced to a content blocker set up as a default on my iphone - easily fixed once identified, but a lot of ingenuity and persistence needed to get to that conclusion.

Works 100% perfectly with Cellular iPad Pro.
I had trouble using this App with a mobile phone. I think it was because it triangulated positioning from cell towers as well as gps etc. The iPad, using GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS is spot on all the time.
App interface is okay, could be improved, which would then make this THE go to App for every boater that likes to explore. Meantime, hat’s off to the developer, it’s doing a cracking good job for us on ‘Infinite Blue’.

Trustworthy, dependable and awesome
We’ve used a few anchor alarm apps and we’re really loving this one. The standout aspect, and the one which made us trust it is the fact it does actually mimic the boats movements, and tracks them. First time we tried it out was during the day and we sat and watched it’s every move and sure enough it recorded every swing. Seems to use relatively little battery/data too so we leave it on at night and have a nice peaceful nights sleep. Use it! 👍

Best anchor app definitely
I have tried many but this is the most reliable by far. The ability to move the anchor position after setting an if an error you can just undo. Love it. Thank you

Made my first bareboat a bit easier
Being in charge of a yacht for the first time is a bit daunting, particularly when anchoring. This app has made that process a bit less stressful. The alarm works well, though I still end up waking up to check the app multiple times overnight - that’s just my own paranoia.
Only slight criticism is that it could be prettier - it doesn’t follow Apple Human Interface Guidelines. It does the job well though which is what’s important.

Great App
I looked at a few apps, guided by the reviews and eventually went for this. Very good. Easy to set up and appears to do a very good job of tracking position.
Manual suggests amount of chain out plus boat length for the boundary which was about right when the wind go up.
Used it for a weeks sailing in Croatia and it gave great piece of mind.

Best Anchor App
As a long term cruiser and live aboard I have now tried 5 different anchor alarm apps. This is the best! Most track boat movements well enough. Some have sat imagery. What none seem to do is allow you to move the point where the anchor lies relying on you hitting the drop button on the app as you drop anchor. Not easy and if the device is in the cockpit you are probably 12m out of true already. This app is perfect. I am well pleased.

Doesn't call
Latest iOS update prevents this app calling a phone number so if leaving boat need to download two apps on different phones and link them using remote mode

This works!
Brilliant App. After trying out costly other anchor alarms that were far too inaccurate, wonderful to find this one that is so easy to use and works perfectly even without wifi. Love the way it tracks your boat movements. Very reassuring. Highly recommended.

Anchor
This is a great app, very easy to use and out performs my onboard plotter. The best thing is that I can move the anchor position at will so I can tune out false alarms. Very pleased to have it. Martin

Brilliant app!!
We've tried a few other anchor apps but we now need look no further.
This app does everything we wanted. Obviously it sends an alarm if the anchor drags and puts you outside of your pre selected limit but it also keeps a constant track of where you've been. Something we've found invaluable when you're moving around a lot and not 100% sure if the anchor's holding. It also means we can use the historical track to confirm exactly where the anchor is and using the coordinates, update our chart plotter with the correct position.
All in all a great app and one we can thoroughly recommend.
A small price to pay for a little added piece of mind and a better night's sleep whilst sheltering in a bay with a 35 - 40 knot wind howling all night (as it was last night!).

Earned it's keep
Well worth the money. We use it combined with our Bad Elf GPS. Setting the anchor position is easy and you can move it if you want. The anchor guard zone is simple to set and adjust. You then see the boat's movement. The alarm woke us with plenty of warning when our anchor dragged. Thoroughly recommend.
