LibriVox Audio Books Pro provides unlimited access to over 40,000 audiobooks - with no ads. Each audiobook can be streamed over the internet or downloaded for later use.
Audiobooks from LibriVox are free thanks to the dedicated work of hundreds of volunteers who record, edit and distribute the books. New releases are prepared daily, and the entire catalog spans the breadth of world literature, including novels, history, biography, short stories, poetry and more in both fiction and non-fiction.
The LibriVox Audio Books app makes it easy to search for audio books and classic radio dramas. You can browse by title, author or genre, look at new recordings, or search by keyword. Because the books are free, you can listen to as much or as little of a book as you like with no cost. The app remembers your position, so when you return to a book later, you can start listening at the place where you left off. Unlimited bookmarks and a sleep timer are included for your convenience.

Will not play
Most of the time the audio stops after 3-4 mins. This has only recently started happening. I’ve been an LibriVox app user for years. 🙁

I love Librivox
This app appears to be more buggy than the free version but all is forgiven because Librivox is simply fantastic. If you’re looking for 1000’s of free fantastic audio books then you’re in the right place. Thank you Librivox and your brilliant volunteers and authors.

Can u forgive her
A great fat Trollope, it has to be said, but it makes for the most enjoyable and compulsive listening. The volunteers are all to be commended; what a great joy to come across Milne Nicholson’s voice, made so familiar by her rendition of Dickens. A couple of volunteers however where not so good, and it requires considerable effort to follow their reading.

Pretty good, a few glitches, improvements possible
It’s great to have a such a range of audiobooks available. There’s a few visual glitches, and a problem going back to a chapter that has just played (it will go back to the end of the last chapter, and then restart the current chapter). It’s nice to be able to favourite readers, and an improvement would be the ability to filter searches using only favourited readers.
The LibriVox website has links to Gutenberg website to get the ebook version. Would be good if the app had an similar link. Perhaps even a follow-along reader thing which highlights the currently read text (using speech recognition on the audio file?)

Wonderful
LibriVox has kept me entertained for many years now. The quality of most of the readers is infallible, and the rest are still very good. There’s such a range of literature to listen to and it’s perfect for car journeys, bath time or before going to sleep... to name but a few. I recommend it to my friends and I rely on it during my downtime. Keep up the good work!

Very good, but...
Very good app with huge selection of books to choose from and some excellent readers but sleep timer is unreliable and on going back to a book it goes back to the beginning of the chapter and not where you left off which is slightly annoying. Otherwise I'd have given 5 stars.
