Utterly Useless Customer Service
So I lost my tagged product at work that had a Tile on it. I lost it as the battery ran out even though I paid for Premium (where they check the batteries and send new ones out in time). This is not the first time. I tried the AI chat but it did not recognise my email (it’s a normal email) so I tried the offered SMS. It never connected to an advisor and cost me £6.50 in charges that it took me 2 months to get back after threatening them with consumer law (they never showed the charges on the app). I have been trying to get a refund on my Premium but they push me to Apple’s website but as it’s over 90 days Apple want nothing to do with it. I have tried Tile’s customer service over 10 times and I am still owed my subscription money with no way of getting it. Avoid at all costs and go get an Apple Tag. Which is what I have done.

Hit & miss
I bought this primarily in order to locate my sons key when he inevitably loses it in the house.
It’s fine when it works, but recently, despite having a ‘very strong’ signal and telling me that it was nearby, it wouldn’t play the sound when I used the app to find it.
I deleted and reinstalled the app with the same result. The next day I tried it again, it worked and I located the key in the laundry basket shortly before it would have gone through the washing machine.
It’s obviously a lot cheaper than say a pricier device manufactured by a certain company named after fruit, but I’d question whether or not it’s worth it when it doesn’t reliably perform the one function that I bought it for.

Setup is awful. Devices do not react as stated in app. Often left with no obvious choice of what to do next. One tile will not activate as it says it is already activated, presumably from my first abortive attempt to activate. Overall a complete waste of money.

Goodbye Tile
After being with Tile for over 6 years I finally had an issue and I was fobbed off by Andrea at customer support just now.
Shame, they lost a customer with 10+ Tiles to Apple AirTags. I gave them the chance to rectify things, they chose not to.
This is not a review of the app, but of their customer support. Not fair on the devs who have spent lots of time and effort building this app, but this is the only place I have a voice so I’ll use this platform.

Unless the tile is within a pretty short distance it doesn’t generally find it. I often have to walk around and hope I get near to it to ring which defeats the purpose of having it!

Seems to be more or less useless now.
So my car key tile can ping my phone from anywhere in the house - sort of useful. But even having done that, the app still says my car key tile can’t be found and was last seen over a month ago and 180 miles away.
It used to work. Resetting the tile with long press does nothing.
I’ve lost my AirPod Pros too, tile app says they were in the middle of the River Severn in Shrewsbury 40 days ago, Erm, they were not.

Works really well, but I often find I have to gamble with turning the location services off for the app because it drains my iPhone 12 battery SO BADLY. Not much point relying on an app if your phones’s constantly dead.

LIFE CHANGER!!
Since my first tile for my keys when this company first launched, I’ve never looked back!
I now have for my keys, wallet, headphones, charger, daughters favourite doll, best friends keys and wallet. Never waste time stressing, getting anxiety and nearly having a heart attack again! These babies are amazing and after three years still never needed to change a battery!!!
The app works in tandem and is equally well designed.

Does What It Says On The Tin.
I only have one Tile, bought as a gift last Father’s Day. My daughter thought I kept mislaying my keys. It works great but the trouble was, I found that with my keys in my pocket I kept pinging my phone every at some very inconvenient times. It’s a quick fix once you find it but Google wasn’t very helpful however following a recent app update I found the solution through the app’s help database.

Works a charm with BOSE headphones
Lost my tiny BOSE wireless headphones in the house today. Then I remembered I had the Tile app and found my headphones in under a minute. Incredibly, the Tile app was able to turn on the headphones remotely and guide me to them. When close enough the headphones started bleeping making them a cinch to find. Probably saved me a few hours searching and a lot of frustration along the way, as I’d left my headphones in a peculiar spot, somewhere I wouldn’t have thought to look. Highly recommend. You won’t appreciate how good this is until you need it.

I lose everything - Tile has saved me hours of my life!
I was gifted a Tile for Christmas (one for my keys and one for my wallet) and I can honestly say I have saved hours off my usual daily search for my things. If you are like me and consistently lose your most important pocket items then don’t hesitate to purchase a Tile. I love mine - and my heart smiles every time I hear the little tune playing from some buried hiding place!

Unusable - switched to Apple
The latest update just freezes when you open the app.
The re-tile process within the app is a farce. The app hangs for 30 seconds whenever one navigates between the basket and the store. Pressing the PayPal button takes one to a summary of the PayPal account rather than a Payment option. The current design of the Tile Mate - vastly inferior to the original - means you accidentally ring your phone from the Tile in your pocket on your keyring at least every few days. Without a setting to require such a Tile to do this only through three clicks or similar, this renders the app and the Tile product unusable.

These work great for me.
These are awesome it allows me to find my keys in the morning when I can’t remember where I’ve put them. But there are a couple of times when it’s been really useful for example when I couldn’t find my wallet at work I checked on tile and discovered I’d left it at home so I didn’t need to worry. When I left my wallet in a car recently it showed me where the car was and I could go back and retrieve my wallet.

Can’t live without them.
I can’t count how many times tiles have save me hours of my life looking for things. From quickly finding my keys /wallet /phone / passport bag (at the airport (thanks!), to reminding me when I’ve left things at home as I leave the house.
The pro versions have great range and are loud. And now with replaceable batteries, I am more than happy to pay for the premium service which costs nothing as compared to the help these things give. They have also changed my dads life (genuinely)..he is not the most organised, and uses these, seemingly on an hourly basis !!! Forgot my keys, forgot my phone…or how the song goes!!

Savour Product
How have I managed without this product! I couldn’t recommend enough. I have a very busy life and am forever filling and emptying bags, car, suitcase and backpacks as I have a varied job needing to take different things to different locations. I work all over the UK and my keys and phone are constantly changing their positions in pockets and places. I have used this about 10 times in one year which I do realise means that I am a bit of a nightmare when it comes to keys but WHAT A LIFE (and time) SAVER! Now to see if they do a super slimline one for my debit card.....

Missing the killer feature...
This doesn't know where your stuff is, it only knows where your phone was when it last saw the tile.... that said, if it alerted you when certain items went out of range after a set time, that would be great and every other Bluetooth tracker does this for free, why the huge subscription for basic functions? As it is, if you leave your item in eg a restaurant it's up to you to notice it some time later and if someone had moved it from the premises it's just gone. The Tile network may be large, they quote 8million tiles after all.... But if some ppl bought more than one, some ppl havnt the app running, some ppl have not renewed after the battery had died that's maybe 2 million out of 7.6billion ppl, making the odds of another tile user with a running app being within five meters of your lost tile similar to winning the lottery. As a user now for four years and sixteen tiles, I’ve had soooo many tiles fail completely and new ones that eat batteries, that I’ve taken another star off. I only keep it going as I’ve some expensive ones with three year batteries in turn, once their dead I’ll not buy any more.

The original and best (at the moment)
I intend to keep using my tile with replaceable battery, but will no doubt get airtags as well. It’s helped me so many times and it’s easy to put on to my keyrings. I’m conscious the tile pro is quite loud too which helps for inside my apartment. Out and about tile and apple will help you find stuff according to your phone and it’s huge network of users, so every reason to hold on to tile alongside airtags for the foreseeable future. I lost my keys whilst in Spain and was able to retrieve them from a restaurant the next day so it’s already paid for itself!

Essential Buy
What would I do without my Tile. Forever leaving keys or mobile phone in a “safe place” - location forgotten! So often phone on silent. Even dropped it outside my parked car at side of woods in silent mode, went home, located it and drove back to site where it was covered I. Leaves in the mud. My life saver - really - my life is in my phone! Keys - left under everything possible. Only the one set as spare car fob doesn’t work. Panic sets in several times a week when temporarily “lost - couldn’t be without my “Tile”.

Usually works
I sometimes struggle to find things with this app. It’s not the most intuitive. Like today I’d lost the garage keys and though the app kept telling me it was close by and it would connect I had to walk around the house and out into the garden shed where I spied the keys on a worktop. The app was still looking for it so I had to restart it looking for it again and at that point the tile started to ring for me.
That’s a bit of a bind that you have to keep re-checking every time you enter a new area but otherwise usually is quite good at telling me where it might be on a map so it’s overall location but I think it lets it self down a little when you start looking from room to room.

Glad I bought them
I’d considered getting one for years, as I am constantly misplacing things. My mom resorted to punching a hole in my bus-pass and making me wear it on a chain round my neck when I was a kid, and the passport office made me go for an interview and then told me that they would give me a passport but it would last a year instead of ten years and if I lost that one they wouldn’t issue me with another, as I’d lost so many it looked suspicious. So when I heard about tile I was very excited, however, the price seemed a lot and I was dubious about how effective it would be in reality, so didn’t get one until my boyfriend lost his wallet with loads of stuff in it.
Got two stickers, the tile that looks like a credit card, and the white one that goes on key rings, my boyfriend has two and I have two, and the app is on our phones, and it’s well worth the money. Neither of us have properly lost anything so far, but it’s been so useful when we can’t remember where we’ve put our keys or wallet, or dropped them; having the little tune that plays so you can hear them is excellent, also my phone is always set to silent so being able to make it ring through tile is brilliant. Saved *so* much time, and it’s a reassuring feeling to know that I’ll be able to find my belongings any time. Wish I’d bought them years ago.

Problems Sorted
I have been using tile since it’s inception and have usually given this product 5 stars. Generally it is a great idea. Especially since the latest tiles have replaceable batteries. I have subscribed to tile premium for over a year now and are due free replacement batteries however the app gives a warning that address needs to be updated before batteries will be issued but the update address section dies not work. I am going to have to buy batteries in spite of paying for tile premium.
One other problem is that the tiled photos of my keys are disappearing one by one to be replaced by the generic icon.
I will update star rating once these issues have been fixed.
UPDATE
Icons have reappeared again and Tile replacement batteries have bern shipped. Although still no way of updating shipping address via the app. It has to be done online.

All my tiles have stopped working
(Please see end of review for possible solution!)I have six Tile Pro-bought because of replaceable batteries. Now none of them are identified as being ‘in range’ even though they are next to my phone. When they work they are terrific and they worked well for a year until a few days ago. I’ve tried everything suggested-turning phone on and off, toggling Bluetooth on and off, deleting and reinstalling the App, replacing the batteries. I’ve contacted support but so far no reply. Weirdly, when I replaced the battery on one my iPad communicated with it. Sadly I’m going to ditch them. Once they start being unreliable they are no use. I’d mislaid my wallet yesterday and spent hours searching for it because I’d depended on the tile attached to it.
PS by chance I told a friend who had experienced exactly the same problem-in exasperation she pressed the button for at least 5 seconds then -with the Tile App open did THREE (not two) short presses which instantly linked up with the App. I did it and it worked!
PPS Customer support have now contacted me and offered advice but I told them what had restored the function of my Tiles.

Amazing saved my life this weekend
I lost my bag at the weekend with my keys purse £200 cash just everything lost
After 2 days I thought I had the tracker on my keys so marked them as lost, within a day I recieved a message that the community had found my keys and it popped up with there exact location ! My stuff was picked up by police
Been to collect my bag and my purse has been untouched!
Faith in humanity restored and it’s all thanks to this tile!!!!

The App used to be good but suddenly it has stopped working. The Tiles loose Bluetooth connection with the phone and will not reconnect until the are rebooted, this makes the Tile unfit for purpose. Tile customer service is good but in spite of several emails they have been unable to resolve the issue. Quite sad really as they worked well for a few months but obviously something in the software has changed.
We have 6 pro tiles in the family. The app doesn’t work on either my phone or my wifes. I suspect we are not alone. It has rendered our 6 tiles useless a loss of £150.
Nice idea but Tile have obviously got problems, less than impressed.

Great and worthwhile using
I’ve been using the Tile for just over a year now, started using it when my bag with laptop and passport was stolen whilst sitting at a coffee shop. The ease of use and how adaptable it is to go into a large checked in luggage, a hand bag, backpack and even a bicycle pouch under the seat. Have used it when travelling abroad to see if my bag has moved its way to the plain for loading 😁. The option to hang it from a pair of keys as easy way to find them also helps.

Can’t find my cat
My pet cat has developed a habit of visiting, and staying, in a neighbour’s garden (and house when they allow him in - which they always deny!) so I decided I needed to be able to find him and gather evidence of his location at any particular time of the day.
In several tests I read the Tile tracker was reviewed as the best for pets and the app’s location history appeared to be ideal so I bought one.
The app is very inconsistent with its location service and, as I am trying to locate a cat that moves and not a teddy bear or a handbag, it struggles to pinpoint his location unless he is close enough to see. The suggested range given by Tile is also reduced by physical barriers such as garden fences as the signal struggles to connect.

I love this invention!
I use Tile on several items because I kept losing them around the house or in my car. I have one that I keep tied to my debit card and driving licence because I now carry them with me in a pocket (I never use a handbag anymore), and now I have a sticker on my earphones case, too, because I keep putting it down in random places. Genius! I just wish the Tiles were a bit thinner so they fit in a pocket more easily and don’t stick out so much (especially the ‘sticker’). Hence 4, not 5 stars.

Absolutely rubbish
Bought my tile, downloaded the app and used it once or twice whilst at centre parcs to track the kids bikes. Forgot about it, then noticed I had been charged £30 for another year of premium !!! Didn’t even know that was a thing. Asked them to check my tile account to prove I haven’t tracked anything in over 6 months and give a refund but they said sorry we don’t have a refund policy. Maybe you should send out an email to inactive customers saying ‘ hey you don’t seem to be using our product but we are about to charge you in the next two weeks, please cancel your subscription if you no longer need or have our product’
I wonder how many inactive subscribers they have.
Customer service is a joke.

Battery version is good value
These things are useful - I use once a week, or so and have provided them to other members of my family, who also find them useful.
Buying eight new each year had become a cost I was not happy to continue paying - and along came the version allowing batteries to be replaced. Ideal, useful and now not too expensive.
One further improvement required: some form of cover/ locking clip/button to prevent one activating in error, when, eg in a pocket with keys.

Found my wallet!
Ok, I was at home so I can’t say it was an emergency, but I was getting really annoyed looking for my wallet; as I hadn’t been going out anywhere I had no normal frame of reference for where it should be (in my trouser pocket, on the shelf by the door). So I went to the tile app on my phone and soon heard my wallet ringing under a random pile of stuff on the floor.
My only concern would be, if I had a large area to search, how far a range would the locator rings work over? Because the ringing from the tile is rather quiet and I’m wondering how well it would work over a large area...

Excellent product marred by two silly problems
I've used Tiles since they were first launched and they've saved my bacon on several occasions. The next generation with the metal frame and the latest with replaceable battery look excellent and appear to be high quality. These two layer gen products share a common problem in that the button appears to be a lot easier to press accidentally. Once or twice a day the one on my keys or the one in my wallet will get triggered accidentally and cause annoyance by beeping and causing my mobile to beep. I've pointed this out to Tile but was quite rudely dismissed. Anyway, I then realised that I can help the situation by disable "find my phone" for each of the Tiles in the app. Bring on the second problem:- every couple of weeks, the app forgets this settings and my phone starts making a racket everytime I accidentally press the over-sensative Tile in my pocket.
Amended my rating to 5*. They’ve fixed the issue of the app forgetting the “find my phone” option being forgotten. Happy now

Location Services not available so useless
On my wife’s phone location services are not offered for this app on an iphoneX second gen, ios is fully updated. Re-starting the phone and app does add the option to the page the app takes one to, or the privacy location services options. Yes, location services are on.
Help is hopeless, lists many irrelevant tutorials and the one for this does not address this scenario and then pops up an additions “customer service” login where the user ID and password don’t work, so this is the only way to let the company know their product isn’t working.
Not impressed witht the old faq will solve everything by wasting our customer’s time.

Background Activity Battery Drain
This app is useful but the background activity it performs creates a noticeable battery hit. Settings consistently reports that, without me ever opening the app, I’m losing over 10% of my battery to the Tile app everyday. If you turn off background location to try to prevent it the app then prompts you almost every day to tell you it needs location access turned back on and there’s no obvious way to silence the prompts.

Stop asking me for ALWAYS access to my location!!!!!!
The app works well and is easy to use, but it needs to stop asking me for ALWAYS access to my location because it’s not getting it.
Start the app and you get a full screen pop up telling you that you need to set location access to ALWAYS. Close that and there’s a red banner telling you that you need to set location access to ALWAYS. Close that, do anything in the app and the red banner reappears.
I appreciate the functional limitations that not giving ALWAYS access incurs (I can’t use a tile to find my phone), but I’m okay with that, so STOP ASKING or we are going to fall out and my tiles will all be going in a drawer.

Gr8 product but hate forces notifications and advertisements
Great product but absolutely hate the forced notifications and advertisements.
I just want to find the tile find feature. It attached to a dog collar and I want it to ring if my dog is out of sight, that’s it, the Ap can do that very well HOWEVER:
1. I don’t want to use find phone feature (as apple have that very well covered and I don’t really want my dog ringing me phone by accident) but the app will hound you, and hound you and hound you with notifications to switch on “Bluetooth always”. This drains the battery. I don’t want it and don’t need app telling me to switch it on 20 times a day.
2. Every time I start the app you’ll need to close the Bluetooth notification banners again. Need to find and recall dog quickly, not until you’ve closed pointless list of notifications. Too late dogs wandered out of range.
3. They want to sell you Tile Premium and again they will push this in the app continually with banners that get in the way. I don’t want it leave me alone.
Great product but absolutely hate the forced notifications and advertisements.

Tile just got ‘lost’
I’ve bought Tiles for my keys etc for the past few years - never had a major loss/found incident, but it was good to have a potential means of finding things if the situation arose.
I’ve just bought 4 of the Tile Pro and 4 of the new Mate. The 2 Mate Tiles that I’ve activated have paired to my Tile App without any problems, but the first 2 Tile Pro units have not.
One of the Tile Pro units will not activate, despite several attempts. It just times-out.
Trying to activate the second, a replacement Tile for my “Keys”, results in a Tile App message that it’s already been activated. Strange. Then “Keys” has disappeared from the Tile App, and there doesn’t appear to be an option to display all activated Tiles on my account (irrespective of whether they have been assigned, i.e. Keys / Wallet).
Trying to contact Tile Support results in a message in the Tile App staring that they are too busy and it may take a couple of days to respond.
In my mind Tile is now a failed product. A 50% failure rate is simply not acceptable.
As for Tile Premium, forget it ! If Basic doesn’t work, why would I choose to pay more ?

BETA or NOT BETA that is the question?
Confused. I’ve noticed that TileApp are now selling a Subscription Service called Premium. I can only assume this is to compliment or a change of business model to add extra income since with Tile Pro you can now change your batteries and therefore do not have to throw away your tiles every year and purchase new. I’ve been a backer of TileApp since the Kickstarter I backed and over the last 4-5 years I’ve been very happy with replacing tiles every year at approx £100 a year cost for the hardware and service! For me brilliant tracking keys etc BUT I’m now confused by the latest Premium Service function which I’m currently Trialing Smart Alerts States is a BETA in the App which I currently have issues with. But Tile support keep telling me the App is not in BETA it has a bug with Smart Alerts which is in BETA. But I’m not in BETA. So the App is not in BETA but a function of the APP is in BETA eg Smart Alerts but overall it’s NOT BETA also for me telling me an alert after 30 minutes I don’t have my keys is useless! I know I’ve not got them when locked out of my office! So what does Premium give Location History well not exactly because the app only pings the tiles every few minutes replacement batteries and Extended Warranty not sure how this works for 30 per annum worth it??? Umm maybe Tile should stick to hardware which has got cheaper when comparing Tile Sport to Tile Pro (2018)

Frustrating
My keys keep connecting to iPad not phone, so when I leave home with phone and not iPad, but with keys - my phone doesn’t know I have keys with me and I get “smart” alert. Often when I have been driving with keys less than a metre from phone. I also cannot “find” them.
Keys have now reverted to phone - but a few days back it had been seven days since my phone had an update, and I could not ring the keys when at work.
When I hit the button on keys, I want to ring phone not ipad.
I should be able to say “I prefer THIS device to THAT”.
The latest hardware seems flaky. Right now my wife is abroad with two tiles she has shared with me. One (a slim) shows an update. The other (a new pro) shows as being 5 miles down the road 31 days ago, when I know it is in her bag a quarter of the way around the planet (she checked).
Ridiculous! Rather defeats the purpose.
When it works, its great - and has saved my bacon a few times.... but it seems less reliable lately. (A few months ago, 5 star. Now? One. Splitting the difference hoping this dip is temporary)
.... and that phone battery usage? Man alive! You need to optimise....

Apple Watch app is broken
Registration wall, Apple Watch crashing on launch. When attempted to submit feedback via the app, it didn’t work couple of times and I had to erase my feedback.
Asks for all permissions for no reason. All I need to do is ping my remote, you don’t need location, background app refresh and notifications for this. It also asked me how I purchased the tile, was it a gift? This app could function perfectly without server component, it’s way over complicated. It’s not your buisness. I would never give this app my location, and there’s no reason with Find My iPhone and Apple Watch.

Great product and app but...
Lost a star for 1 major thing and 1 minor thing. The one major problem was the fact that a membership is required to access some features after paying £20-£30 for the product. Other than that the tile I have (Tile Pro) works well, easy to hear and find the tile or your phone using your phone. If you have lost both you can log in on a computer and ring it from there. The one minor problem is more of a missed opportunity, it would be nice to use the widgets on your home/lock screen to find your keys. Overall great product and app!! :)

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I bought tile products because in the store I was told it could track anything luggage, keys etc etc. I thought sweet!
But that’s simply not true unless the item you want to track is within the range of your phone around 100ft (30m!)!
Or there happens to be someone else using the app near where your tile is and then you only know the location at that moment. So if someone stole your item and they are moving around you won’t find it!
I thought it would be great to track the kids, my wallet, my wife’s handbags, my bikes and purchased a bunch of them and then found this out after! No one will give you your money back!
This product is only useful to kind your keys or phone around the house! Beyond that it’s garbage! The folks that rate it highly haven’t actually tried to find something that has been stolen! When they do they will realise it’s less than useless!!!

Buy a whistling key-fob instead.
Only works if it’s within your reach.
If you leave it attached to your keys, connect to it at home then go out leave them in the pub when you check the ‘history’ it will show them at home as that’s the last time you made the app look for them - just a gimmick.
But wait... they actually can work like you thought they would when you purchased them as long as you now subscribe to the ‘premium’ subscription service!! After forking out nearly £40 for the twin pack I’d EXPECT it to do those things out the box!
Rip off don’t buy - and the app now teases you with the features it SHOULD have, the settings are totally riddled with honey traps - as soon as the batteries go in mine they’re going straight in the bin where they’ll be just as useless.

Heaven and hell
Bought these in the Apple store thinking... that they were a quality product which the concept and software is but cheap materials and bad product design let them down. Rubbish trying to get in touch with a human in customer care as it is really obfuscated. I have two new tiles less than a year old malfunctioning and customer care is rubbish it doesn’t care because it’s not designed to! Sort it out! Agree with the other users battery should be replaceable especially when you are installing cheap ones that keep dying after a few months. Dissatisfied and disappointing

Poor economics
The idea is sound, the technology pretty good but the application is flawed by the limited battery performance and the need to replace the whole device after just a year.
I have decided not to replace my Tile after only a year as although it worked just fine and I was able to track things like luggage whilst travelling or being assured where my wallet was located.
It is obviously in the business plan of Tile to rely on complete replacement rather than pricing the unit slightly higher and having a replacement or rechargeable battery. I’m not sure whether this is a sound move, only time will tell.

What on earth has happened? Under new management?
The original worked just fine and did what it said on the tin. “Sport”? I now get plenty of exercise running around trying to find my keys because it is so flaky and the sound is barely audible only to find they are in a totally different location to what the app says.
......and of course you need to replace it every year; a fact that I couldn't seem to find on the website 🤔 Thankfully there are now similar/better products coming to market which allow you to simply change the battery rather than have to replace the item altogether. Pity - great idea, initially great product but too greedy and too unreliable....

I just bought it a day before. It was working till last night but since this morning the app is unable to find my tiles (keys). I have restarted the phone several times, it’s Bluetooth and also the app. But it is unable to locate anything. I even tried pressing the tiles logo on my tiles, it makes a sound but doesn’t do anything else. I was looking forward to buy more of these but after such a response I’m not going to buy anymore of these or even recommend it to anyone. It’s of course a useful thing but with its limited functionality its a waste of money. I even tried sending an e-mail to support people but it does not allow me to send any messages via app.

WASTEFUL! Waste of money, e-waste.
The idea is good but I think someone can make a better product, I can see no reason for not being able to make batteries replaceable by sliding the battery in the side, Like you would a SIM card on a phone, IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY, and in a world where we should be cutting back on electronic waste and plastics it's disgusting that this would be made in a way that it has to be disposed of in a years time, in the hope customers will keep paying for another one, I've never had issues with battles in my car keys, why should this device that is supposed to help you look after keys need to be THROWN IN THE BIN AFTER A YEAR?? I wouldn't need to throw my car keys in the bin after a year!
Why don't you make it less wasteful and charge more for the product. They even have the cheek to ask you to subscribe to other features in the app, how about you make a good device that you don't need to chuck in a bin after a year and then ask people to subscribe to the whole service?

Used to be amazing
I used to swear by this app to give me peace of mind of the location of my house and car keys. Sadly the app has become very unreliable in the last few months. Despite only fairly recently replacing my tiles (after the original ones died after a year-ish of use), the app is very inconsistent in actually knowing where my keys were last seen.
The worst recent development is that now when I double click my tile, my phone no longer rings. The point of this is that regardless of having silent or do not disturb mode on, my phone should still ring, telling me where it is. But it doesn’t. I DO get a push notification from the app, but no noise. This defeats the purpose of one of the main features of the product.

The best app ever
I absolutely love the tile and obviously the app that supports it. I have been a part of the tile community since it very first launched. The concept is brilliant and the usefulness of being able to find your stuff easily is mind blowing. The app is constantly improved by the very clever technical team and indeed the most recent update a few days ago solved one of the issues I was having. I had reported it to customer services who are super helpful and super efficient. They obviously spoke to the tech team and they came up with a fix ! It has solved the issue. Good but app needs more features
This device is very handy, I have the tile attached to my keys, and it works ok, except I have the app on both my iPad and my phone. Today I lost my phone, but every time I used the tile fob it would ring my iPad. After an hour I eventually found my phone (down the side of the sofa!) and found it irritating that you cannot select different devices from the app, (say, from my iPad) my phone had plenty of charge and was under my nose the whole time! Developers need to add a feature that allows several devices to be added. So my advice would be to buy several tiles but that’s expensive.

Great item shame batteries are not able to be replaced.
I’ve used my tile loads this last year. I’ve lost my phone keys etc and managed to find them no problem. I didn’t realise once the battery runs out you have to replace the whole tile and now one year on I’ve had a message saying my battery is low. This makes it extremely expensive to use and I most certainly won’t be paying out again for another tile. I’ve found a cheaper alternative that allows batteries to be changed. It’s such a shame as I’m sure tile will loose loads of custom. I had 4 of these and if I had realised initially you needed to chuck them when the battery ran out I would have chosen something else. There has to be a way to do it tile so get on it please because otherwise you had a perfect device that worked great

A really really good product
I bought the style tile for my mother who probably spends an hour a day searching for her keys! If you remember the key finders from the 2000s where you whistled for your keys, what a massive improvement! The app is really user friendly and the key ring looks great and looks very strong and tough. Great invention which I think is going to save her hours of time each week!
You replace them yearly at a reduced price but I don’t see this as a bad thing, what keyring last that long anyway and yearly cycle will keep it looking fresh.
I have no regrets and would recommend without hesitation to anyone, the find feature in general public prob has its limitations but then it’s not a £300 GPS unit the size of a coke can.

Tile saved my marriage
I lose stuff. I’m a serial loser of stuff in fact. It took time but I’ve now come to terms with the fact I’m a loserholic.
My losing stuff was starting to affect relationships with my loved ones. I stopped returning people’s calls. I was always late for things. On reflection I became really selfish and demanding.“Where’s my car keys - everybody stop what they’re doing now and look for them... NOW!”. I didn’t want to be that guy.
I now realise that My wife bore the brunt of it. Every day, she’d have to find the things I’d lost and it wore her down.
Enough was enough... so we bought Tile.
Since we brought Tile into our lives, I’ve gone 325 days without losing anything. I have happier relationships. I’m on time for things. It’s just been amazing.

It a keeper!
After losing my purse for the second time in one year, the lost of money and the stress of reordering cards made want to find Tile. I now have peace of mind if I am every there again, I can locate it.
I also purchased one for my keys 'just in case'. I love the quick find calling when I have placed them down and like the dizzy woman I am, can't actually remember where.
I think being able to locate my phone via the tile itself is brilliant too.
