No support whatsoever

It says subscription through iTunes but nothing showing no customer support keeps saying it’s uploading but nothing alters have to edit everything for collages or videos to show and when try play a video only just sound no pictures to me waste of time downloading

The quality of this product is very poor which makes the end result so down graded it affects the views. Very poor but will I get my money back. You have to pay for it to find out how it works. I will stick to imovie from now on.

Awful app

What is the point of paying a monthly subscription when you try to play a saved video and it either says there isn’t a good enough internet connection to play it (wrong, everything else works fine), or that it is “optimising video, try again in x seconds.” Trying again never works, by the way....

I feel trapped as I now have too much stuff on Real Times to contemplate a move to another service - it would be too much hassle to move everything.

Waste of Money

Earlier this evening I paid for a subscription to RealCloud Premium. Alas I find now that it’s a complete waste of money. To put it bluntly, RealNetworks have stolen my money. Dropbox is FAR superior.

Such a great concept but doesn't work

I initially loved this app and created an amazing video that then corrupted and I couldn't share it. It also won't access all my pictures. Waste of money, time and effort

Absolutely appalling

I have been trying to cancel my subscription for the last month but the app just keeps telling me I am not connected to the internet - the very reason I am trying to stop my subscription. Nothing works at all. I cannot sign-in to my account. Cannot make videos or anything else. I want my last two months money returning immediately. Stay well away from this

Needs Serious Work

This app doesn’t work period! Imagine signing into this app on a pc, on the web and mobile device and nothing is consistent, absolutely nothing. All three deliver different results and none are good. Blank thumbnails for videos, other times videos don’t play at all, unable to share them, unable to create an album. I mean nothing works. What videos are there just stare right back at you and do nothing else. I want to rate this app but unfortunately I can’t.

Great app, reminds me of "storyteller" app on my partners new Lumia Windows phone!

In seconds it magically composes a sweet, short video clip from photos taken on that day!

No time spent choosing from endless setting and filters but creating, on its own, a pleasing little clip!

Everything works well. My no. 1 for video. Real's insistence on making up stories from one's pictures is a bit annoying. Wish they would move it away from the front of the app.

I think this programme like most other takes away your choice to decided to allow access to camera, location etc. I'll change settings if I want to not when the programme tells you. It assumes everyone wants to share .. not always.

Not happy!

I'm not one for writing reviews. But I pay monthly for my account. After using this app for several months and loving it, I am now downgraded to a standard account despite paying?? I can't find any info to be able to contact anyone. Very disappointed. Would have given a huge 5* prior to this but now I don't know what I'm paying for?!?

Why no IOS6 Support?

If Google Maps can still support IOS5 why do so many developers insist on dropping support for IOS6? You say "optimised for iPhone" 5 - well I have an iPhone 5 and your app is not supported on it. iPhone 5's were not designed for IOS7 - the performance isn't as good. Hopefully you read this as this is the only review so far.

I loved this app when it was called RealPlayer Cloud but must say that I love it even more now! I can still do everything I did before (like playing my iPhone videos on my Roku or Chromecast) but the best feature is the automatic videos it now creates for me. Not always 100% perfect but it's so easy to add or change the photos or videos and just remix and share. I never got around to make that great video from my trips before but this makes it almost too easy for even somebody as lazy as me. :-)

Unusable since 'improvement'

Since this app has been changed to Real Times, it's gone from being a brilliant app that was easy to use & a great place to store all my videos. Since the so called 'upgrade', I'm unable to access most of them - They are simply greyed out and won't play at all, including ones I'd already uploaded. To further compound the problems, it won't upload any new photos or videos and I'm unable to even access my new videos through the app. Please sort this out or I'll have to delete it & lose all my precious videos. Can you maybe advise me how I get around this problem.

IOS7th Hell

Have a premium account with Real and all was amazing until they replaced the app with RealTimes. It is compatible with IOS7 now but because my iPod is older it is only IOS6.something so no longer picks up my video and pictures via camera roll as before. I had a similar problem when Spotify updated their app but they eventually provided a version for IOS6 and below. I know I could solve this by buying a new iPod but come on Apple/Real this is not fair!

Ineffective Backup Solution

I was never all that fussed on RealPlayer, this app or the desktop version years ago.

Not user friendly, still, to this day, despite the rebranding to Realtimes.

The biggest gripe for me has been accessing two test clips I uploaded a year ago - again, the user is being unnecessarily inconvenienced by this product.

Select a video to download, and the blue tick appears showing you've selected your 'backed up' video.

The app even displays a header saying: '1 selected item'.

But then the option to download 'my' video is greyed out - indeed, all options are.

The videos are there, but there's only way for the user to use them: via Realtimes cloud solution...

...which is the problem.

Uninstalled!

The (had to pay for) longer video option resulted in a grainy video when shared to Facebook. I then realised that since installing the app, the location services arrow was always showing on my iPhone - even when the app was closed! A soon as I deleted the app, the arrow disappeared.

Fun, Instant, and Excellent Quality Personal Movies

RealTimes is the simplest way to create movies from the photos and videos I have on my iPhone. I love how the app automatically pics the best photos in my library and automatically adds a song to the movie or lets me pick one from my personal library.

#EXCELLENT!

Just from playing videos stored locally on my iPhone I have to say I am mightily impressed with this version of the RealPlayer product.

LOVE the ability to 'pinch to zoom' while a video is playing and this give RealPlayer a HUGE 👏👏👏 IMHO.

I don't often award 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ratings but RealPlayer comes so, so close in my estimation. The one improvement I would like to see is the ability to extract audio to mp3 format which I could store locally on my iPhone to play at a later date. Add this feature and RealPlayer would soar from a 4 to a 6⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating above ALL other music player apps!

Simply amazing!

This app is so easy to use and fun! One thing you need to add though is uploading. Make it possible for me to select my main system for my home videos eg my pc so i can upload them straight to it instead of uploading to the cloud then downloading then deleting the video from the cloud then doing it over and over again. If you add this feature then your app to me is worth way more than five stars!!!

Just Amazing

I can steam videos I have on my PC in my basement, onto my chromecast that's in my bedroom TV two floors up, using my iPhone as a remote control. And it's free. What's not to like?
