Inspired by the hit BBC TV show Mister Maker’s Arty Party!, this official app is guaranteed to give hours of creative fun.
Hosted by Mister Maker himself with the help of his friends Tocky and The Shapes, this extensive creative experience is designed for kids 4 and over.
USE GLITTER AND GLUE, BUT WITHOUT THE MESS
Designed especially for your own budding Mini-Makers, this app allows kids to imagine and create an unlimited number of pictures and designs using the extensive range of over 350 colours, backgrounds, materials and special effects available from the Doodle Drawers. There's even virtual glue and lots of glitter to use.
TAKE PHOTOS AND MAKE 'EM WACKY
Take a photo or use images from your device's photo album, then turn them it into wacky creations to share with your friends. What would grandma look like wearing a snorkel and why has grandpa got red hair?

Join Tocky and take part in 20 different Minute Make challenges.
PLAY WITH THE SHAPES
Learn to identify shapes and watch them morph into fun objects in the original Shapes Game, or play the Shapes very own Match-3 game.

Mister Maker himself is on-hand to give continuous positive advice and encouragement to your Mini-Makers using video and audio guidance. Also includes The Shapes, Tocky, The Doodle Drawers, Minute Makes, Frame It! together with all the familiar music and sound effects from the TV show.

Great fun, lots of content

My older kids loved Mister Maker on tv so I tried this with my 4 yr old. There’s quite a bit of content and the pre-made pictures and backgrounds are a great way to get started. Stickers and funny faces are really good and you can stick them onto pictures you take with the camera. Definitely worth buying.

This is so much fun!!

It’s just like watching the TV series but also being able to take part.
My kids love this app and spend hours being creative and having fun. So glad to see a new version has fixed all the problems because the family really missed it

Doesn’t load

Has been crashing on all our iPads for at least a year across a number iPadOS releases. Screen disappears after about a second attempting to load. It doesn’t work on iPadOS 15 or 16.

Don’t waste your money!

App showing as loaded on our screen but when we click on it to play it flashes the logo and disappears back to the hone screen. What a waste of money, it doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

Brought and paid for the app but won’t load, just shuts straight down, I have tried it on 2 iPads and an iPhone and have the same issue. Waste of money and an upset son.

Mister maker app crash

This app will not work, it crashes immediately on trying to open. I have read and tried every option available on how to fix this. It still does not work. I have wasted my money and have a disappointed child

Closes on opening

My son loves this app, or used to. He has come back to play it and now it closes as soon as you open it. The latest update seems to have broken it.

Very bad app

Every time I click the app only a black screen comes up before taking me off the app. This is a scam i downloaded this app on three devices but they did not work on one. I feel like it was a waste of money. I do NOT recommend to download this app EVER.

So I played Mister maker let’s make it and then when I went on my own avatar the account changed and it was a ant it had three dots. Not for kids for now but I also seen statics on the paper I’m not lying about the scary thing promise me I is scary right now

Hi 👋 , I love the app a lot, I’m 14 but plz don’t judge me cause I like the app, the reason I got this is because it has a doodle but for doodling,animation,photo editing and even mini games, and that’s why I got it, the app doesn’t need age rating, since your never too young or too old to be creative, I had tux paint before but you could only doodle, you couldn’t animate or photo edit your photos, so I got this and was scared that I would regret the app and ask for a refund but It was actually worth it! Anyone reading this, get the app for yourself or for your young, no one will regret this, but also developers, can you’s plz add an AR mode, so I could doodle on walls, and be happy for the app, thx a lot, this app will change my life, have a nice day, and Enjoy the app!🙏 also plz add an animate mode, so I can animate things plz!

My grandson face when he saw this app on the iPad was a picture , he was over the moon aged 3 years old he loves this app I brought all the extras and the freebie was a nice touch to the download thank you through he wanted to wake the shapes up so they would jump down and dance like mister maker was the only disappointment he showed

No glitches whatsoever!

A bit cheeky

It is a paid game which I don't mind but the reason I only gave it 4⭐️ was because usually when you pay for a app that means no adverts and no in app purchases but with this app there is an in app purchase even thought it's only 79p in my opinion that is still very cheeky considering it's all ready a paid app but the app it's self is brilliant

Best £2.99 I've spent in a long time

My almost-3 year old and 5 year old sons love this app. It has kept them happily occupied since August during long journeys, food shopping trips and crafty coffees, and they show no signs of losing interest. As they get older they will become more adept at using all the features, but even my 2 year old can make enough pictures to keep him happy. And, if I can get it off them, I've also spent a happy hour while husband does the driving playing with this app. Great great fun, well designed and well thought through.

Best app - used loads

This app is brilliant for budding artists. It's easy to use without guidance and the best thing about it is once bought there are no in app purchases. They earn additional features by completing tasks. Take the 60 second challenge, draw, collage, paint, cut and stick. It can have multi-user log on. Easily the best children's app I've seen for fun. User age 4.

A few bugs

A really great idea with good design and visuals. The only place that it's let down is the implementation of UI. There are a few frustrating bugs that stop my 3 year old progressing. For example sometimes the Red Cross on the right of the doodle draws stops working so she can't close the draw. Also, sometimes the slider on the left is unresponsive too. If you develop apps for toddlers than its important that bugs are all resolved. Developers like toca boca know this and always release 5 star products. Please fix.

Not for toddlers

Why do the makers of this app assume I have 4 children? The app opens with a profile setup page that confuses my otherwise tech-savvy kid. This should be an option within the app, not the first page.
Overall, the instructions aren't terribly clear. However, my daughter adores Mister Maker so seems to be soldiering on regardless.
I'd say this app is for older children, 5+.

Great app!

My 2 and a half year old son loves this. Keeps him entertained for long periods of time. Can be a little tricky for the younger ones but once you show them how they're away! Great app, highly recommend it.

Excellent

I try not to pay for apps but this one is really worth the money. Keeps my grandchildren ( 4 and 6 years old) occupied for hours. They take it in turns to play Mister Maker on the iPad and on my iPhone. Masses to do and great pictures to create. They love Mister Maker dashing back and forth giving advice. Get it!

Love those Googly Eyes!

Both my kids love Mister Maker and although the older one (8) has moved on he is actually spending more time on this app than my little one. It has loads of fun stuff and the videos of Mister Maker himself are great for motivation and encouragement. Being able to bring in photos is a fantastic feature and many of those googly eyes are being put to good use!

Great app

Bought this app after watching it climb the kids chart so quickly soon after release. Brilliant and worth the money. The whole family have a had a go and all love taking photos to put their own Mister Maker art on them. Loads to do, kids won't be disappointed with this app!
