Can’t access files on computer to place into archive

So poor I think the App Store should delist it.

Unable to extract 7z file

I wasn’t able to extract 350.2mb 7z file, whereas with another free extractor I could. The free extractor which could do the job was “zip tool”

Please fix this. Thanks

Best zipping app

I have used this on the windows platform for years.

This app is just as good if not better on iOS.

Paste, copy edit, you name it, it does it.

Like the idea when you password protect files then upload them to your Gdrive or OneDrive, prompts you for the password.

Would advise anyone that backs up passwords & data regularly to invest the small amount they ask.

Well impressed, regular updates makes it work smooth without a glitch.

Doesn’t actually convert ANY file.

Having downloaded the free version to unzip a file, I was told I needed the pro (this) version to do what I needed to do. So I pay and download. Only to find out I CANNOT unzip the file. That’s £4.99 I won’t see again.

Utterly useless

This app is a massive disappointment. I have used the windows version for years, and for one thing only - unzipping files so I can access them. I bought this app to unzip files on my iPad and open them. Unbelievably, this isn’t really supported. I finally found a cumbersome way to individually extract some of the files in a zip file, but it was incredibly painful experience, with a poor quality ‘baffling” user interface. The app crashed a lot, and a couple of times corrupted the unzipped files. Do not buy this!!!

Latest Version Keeps Crashing

Up to version 4.8 it was excellent but I cannot get it to work since a bug has made its way in and causes it to keep crashing. I hope it will be fixed soon.

Just doesn't work. Downloaded a standard zip file and app refused to unzip with a very helpful message - unzip failed!!! Even trying to view individual files sometimes fails with no reason. Really disappointed, as I need to view files on the move. Tried a few times now and can't get if you work.

WinZip Really Works

I was able to download a zip file using a free win zip at first. And I tried sending out part of the file and was asked to download a premium type, which I did and they transferred all the documents within a short time frame from the free app to the premium app. And I then proceed to send out few files and it work perfectly well. Thank you it is magnificent!

Waste of money

It unzips and then let you do little with it. The Doucments app on the store sis a better job of unzipping and letting me view file. If the extension of a file in the zip (even if it's a text file) isn't something it likes then there's little you can do with the file to view, open in another app etc. C'mon Winzip - I paid for this based on your reputation over 20+ years without even trying the free version...you let me down.

Uploading an unzipped file to one drive, gets to near the end and pops up operation failed...

Then I noticed the directories that have spaces in the name are recreated with an underline! Why??

I wouldn't bother, will need to revert back to desktop application...

Finally, a Zip app that does the job. Been looking for an app for the past 4 yours that will transfer multiple folders from within a single zip file into dropbox. Need for interacting with the marking software used by my university. This app is the only one that can do this.

Other zip-app developers take note. This is showing you how it's done.

It's the best!

Earlier versions of the WinZip iOS app were not great. They lacked functionality and the user interface needed work. The latest version is, however, excellent. The user Interface is now at a high standard and the .zip files it creates are (unlike those created by some of its competitors) fully compatible with other devices. Having compatibility with various cloud storage systems is also very useful. My only criticism is that I would like them to add support for iCloud Drive!

WinZip: Comprehensive Mobile File Archiving

The only reason I've not given the app FIVE stars, is because, in the way I keep score; I always reserve the very top mark[s] to acknowledge perfection; the very [possibility of] perfect [...and non-existent!] "portable APPlications", that must remain, always and forever; theoretical. The FOUR stars that are left I can use to rate the rest; all the apps of the real-world!!

I Would give it 4.9 stars! – An incredibly smooth, functional and resource-driven app, who's interface is deceptively clean and simple! The integrated cloud storage (DropBox, G-Drive & OneDrive) often proves especially useful....

Handy App

This app works as described. The problem I find is that the pictures from the Camera Roll when zipped are not Full Resolution, which is disappointing. It would also be handy to use the zip with other apps as currently you can only email it. Overall a pretty good app though.
