Definitely not worth it, just Bought the new watch 7 but then I changed to iPhone at £60 a year I may aswell get an apple watch and get all the features or just use the watch without anything 😂

Expensive and doesn’t work (for me)
Subscription costs more than my watch 5 is worth and the app won’t stay connected for long enough to do anything useful (5-10s max before disconnecting). It’s a nice idea and promising app features, but even if it worked I don’t think it’s worth the money

Quite annoying that theres a subscription
I used to be a Samsung user but switching to iPhone basically rendered my galaxy watch useless. I was really pleased when I saw your app but then there was a subscription that came out. Im thinking of buying an apple watch but I hope that atleast notifications and phone calls will become free. Good luck with development if anyone at Merge sees this!

This is a temperamental app works then doesn’t the watch shows connected in the merge app the phones bluetooth shows connected but the merge app on the phone doesn’t show connected to get it to reconnect correctly is a hassle so to pay for this app with these issues is not justified to pay also no diary entries shared with the app.

The app is subscription only
I understand the need for a subscription plan in order to be able to develop this app, however the subscription should only be if you want to use all functionality and sync it with your phone, limited notifications should be free. Paying £50 for an annual subscription is not worth it. I would rather buy an apple watch which is compatible with an iphone. Thinking long term, paying for the subscription is actually more expensive than buying an apple watch where you can use all functionality.

Very disappointing
Before they introduced this app, you didn’t need to pay for their service and just connect through Bluetooth on your iPhone and the merge app on the watch but now you have to pay £60 a year for this app on your iPhone. For this price you might as well just buy an Apple Watch. Very disappointing as I can’t use my Samsung watch with my iPhone anymore.

Paid subscription only
I used merge for my Samsung watch for around half a year. However, they brought this new app that needs a paid subscription to get any notification. I would understand a paid subscription for maybe phone calls or health syncs, however you can’t even get any notifications.
I understand it may be needed to develop the app however would appreciate a free plan for minimal notifications, otherwise the appeal to use this app isn’t there. I would rather sell my existing Samsung watch and buy an apple watch which is more compatible.

Stuck behind paywall
I was originally using this app perfectly fine with no issues but now you can’t use it at all without paying a subscription the whole point of using an app like this is because not everyone can afford to go and buy a new watch or like the way their watch works I definitely don’t agree with this latest update
