And again!!
How the hell can you complete an attack in warships. Destroy 3 enemy engine rooms before they start their attack. Still have 5 of your own engine rooms left when you have finished theirs. Wait nearly a full minute before the result and still lose by 4 seconds?????
This is bull#^*t and ruining what could be a really good game. No doubt this will not be published as negative reviews rarely are!

Simply additives!
Followed from the Clash of clans, equally addictive game! You will spend years playing it! However, annoyingly there seems to be one way to go further in your map once the radar has reached max level and don’t seem to be able to expand further, then the game gets very repetitive! Great except for one major problem
This game is great but it’s biggest problem is the matchmaking. I’m hq 16, level 40 and the easiest base currently on my map is hq 21, level 50. There’s no way i can beat these bases, and as a result I cant gain resources. With no resources, i cant upgrade my armoury to even have a hope of beating these bases. There’s no reason why there should be level 79s on my map; these are max players.
The matchmaking is severely ruining my experience of the game; i’m in a never ending loop of being overpowered by opponents.

Used to love this game, but the new censorship has spoilt it. Can’t use basic everyday words. It’s become impossible to talk to your team , all you get now is ….. …… …….. and none are swear or rude words??? Totally killed the game. I can’t recommend it at all. 🤬

Why does the sound keep going?
Honestly, this has been going on for quite awhile now seems like a really small issue to fix but a very annoying one. The sound is randomly drops whatever part of the game you’re playing.

Not fair
Used to be an enjoyable game now ruined by constant attacks on villages by much stronger players, so you have no chance of getting them back. Also home base gets destroyed regularly, stealing all the items you’ve struggled to attain so you could upgrade buildings and weapons by players you have no chance of getting revenge on because their bases are not on your map. So not really worth playing because you can’t improve.

Totally unplayable after update
Now level 76, but I am being raided 4 or 5 times a day, which means my resources are unusable, so I can’t build anything. Before the update I was rarely raided. Major error by Supercell, they have made this game unplayable, total waste of time. I have stopped playing. Supercell have made the game all about spending real money in order to keep in the game.

All childlike so called upgrades, it’s looking more like Clash everytime you do an update. Biggest annoyance this time is that Scorchers now blow each other up, all 16 can blow up together once one goes, ridiculous.

Warships
Boom beach is a great game but it seems to have a fault with Warships, being when doing the warships battle, you can destroy your enemy and then watch them complete their attack but you still loose.

Wins dont count
Having trouble in the season, once i destroy all enemy engine rooms BEFORE the other player, winning by 1-3 seconds, the tiebreaker always says they have the better time despite me literally watching them destroy my last engine room live (after i have already destroyed theirs) and they still win by that 1-3 seconds when ive clearly won, this mostly happens when im on a win streak or on my last fight before moving up a tier witch is convenient, i love this game but not giving the "winning player" the "win" is a great way to make people stop loving the game, the seasons are the best part of boom beach for me besides the crab raids, but the win/lose timing is bad when things are going well for you witch is not a great feeling at all, feels like the game is making me wait to progress instead of be good at it to progress.
to say its down to latency or lag is a cop out because i never get a "win" if they defeat me 1-3 seconds before i destroy their last engine room as if i were up against someone with a worse connection speed than me, it would work both ways and i wouldnt mind if that were the xase because at least i would see it happening in the opposite direction from time to time but it doesnt so its not that.

A Great Game That As Been Ruined
I have been playing Boom Beach virtually from the very start, but the previous updates have been a let down, it’s a shame that you can’t have the new shape gunboat, the new island backdrop and the new HQ unless you purchase the boom passes, so it’s either spend money or don’t progress, that’s a shame.

Once was great, now.. not so!
This game used to be a really good game.. however,
I can understand the revenue side of this app, no one makes anything for free but this game is now beyond the pale. It’s just greed, in my opinion.
The resource rewards have all been altered and basically halved. The diamonds in the chests are no where near the amount players in the US get. As usual it feels like rip off Britain. The game pretty much forces you to buy diamonds in order to progress. New players may not notice this but if you’ve been in the game for a while, you have definitely noticed you get less of everything now.
Shame, and I know they won’t care but I have deleted this now.

Since a few updates ago you now don’t get medals for taking over resource bases. And while there’s lots more bases to auto destroy for medals, destroying a players bases states 2 medals are up for grabs but only one is awarded. They have given with one hand but still made it hard to progress. Not great

Used to be a fantastic game. Unlike clash, constant tinkering has rendered the game far less enjoyable. Strategy games should allow players to pick an approach that works best for them. Bb used to do this but not anymore. The mini games should be much more entertaining than they are, but it’s too unforgiving. Where has the fun gone?

Hard Grind
Another SC game that ought to be put out of its misery. Only one builder means it takes forever to update your base. Resource islands get recaptured after only a few hours. Most opponents in your section of the map are above your pay grade when it comes to attacking. Dr. Terror can provide a few resources a few times a week but ultimately frustrating. Another mobile/tablet game which exists purely to coerce the weak minded into parting with money for loot boxes in order to try and get an edge. No substitute for a decent combat game on PC or console.

Giving it one more try
The recent bugs are killing the game. I had a week of no new bases whilst I’m paying for instant training. Now they’re fixed, new ones are here, well at least I hope so. The enemy cryo bombs don’t destroy mines. The main issue is I’m facing enemies that are 1500+ VP when I’m only at 900.
I’ve been playing this since release and I think it’s soon time to stop.

I should be getting 16 critters on each launch, but I get 5 or 6. I really enjoy this game but it seems the last update has caused at least one issue. Please fix it. The star count reflects my critter count.

I love it
I love boom beach. I am a loyal gamer to boom breach and I never left it. I am lvl 69 and I have a long way to go. However all games have cons. Firstly if I’m gonna max out my base there’s nothing I can really do and updates are not coming in fast enough to make me entertained. Also I am a tank lover and I love the tank+ medic combo however I feel like tanks are nerfed because the tank might have close to 9000 hp but the damage is kind of low so if you could add some more damage that would be great. I love warships but it’s so hard to Acutally fully destroy a base and I was thinking of adding air battles and adding planes and stuff. Also please nerf all scorchers they are too op and if you have 2 in each boat it’s almost impossible to defend. Also please listen to the community more and add stuff more often. I know boom beach doesn’t make much money as let’s say clash of clans but there are loyal players and we all still want frequent updates.
I have some suggestions though. Firstly add another kind of resources and think of more defenses also maybe you can add cyber warfare like sabotage. Also please double the population of the island and make building faster. One last thing is to add more troops like juggernauts.
Even though I have named cons I love this game and I will remain a loyal player and continue playing. However please listen to my ideas and it will bring back players and inspire new players

Very enjoyable, addictive game
Been playing on and off for 10 years. Recently picked the game up again after not playing for a few years and the changes they’ve made are great.
It became very repetitive and stale, which meant the island on my archipelago were unbeatable, but this seems to have been sorted and your matches are more more similar to your player level!
There’s now warships, which keeps they game interesting and monthly mega crabs.
I am completely in love with this game again!!!!

Latest Update - November 2023
This update has ruined my game. Boom Beach continuously drops out within a couple of minutes, having been slow to load. Supercell is aware of the problem they created for older devices but appear to be dragging their feet to resolve the matter. I am very disappointed as this game was the reason why
I bought an iPad in the first place.
At last, this seems to have been resolved so then a new update comes out. This time I am trapped in a loop as pressing the ‘update’ button takes me to the App Store where I press the ‘open’ button to load the update which just takes me back to Boom Beach where I press the ‘update’ button again and round and round we go.

Account deleted if inactive for 6 months period
Just as a heads up, if you download this game, play for a number of years and spend money on the game developing your base as well as investing a significant amount of time in the game- should you choose to take a break from the game- they will close your account and therefore claim there is no record of any purchases made. Moreover, there will be no way to recover your base and no attempt to assist over and above the same 2 scripted responses about it being unfair to other players to recover your account and there are no longer any records of your base etc. etc.
Save yourself the time and money- skip past this game and find a different one where the game developers are more appreciative of your hard earned money!

I’ve played this game for at least 6 years. I have maxed everything long ago and so with not so much to do the game has become a bit repetitive. That being said I do consider this as a masterpiece as it does not go down the ad route. Yea it takes time to upgrade some of the end pieces can take nearly a week to build. I’d like to see more challenges for high level players. I’d also like the chance to donate boost powders to team mates. I have over 4000 powders that will never be used. Overall a great game.

What has gone wrong?
When I first started on this game it was fun, enjoyable and challenging. Unfortunately I have now got to the stage where it is sad, boring and totally predictable. I assume the developers have totally lost the plot. Now you can’t do anything with whatever you win, there are no more upgrades, it is far too easy to keep your base fortified to the level where nobody attacks you and what could have been an amusing side game, Warships, is a boring, mundane, undefeatable slog. The only reason I have deleted is out of (probably misplaced) loyalty to my fellow clan members. Please don’t start the game it rapidly goes downhill.

Designed for pay or not play
For the first few levels you struggle for gold until you have far more than you can spend. Then do the same for wood for half a dozen levels. Then the same for stone. The design also dramatically increases the wait time between builds as the buildings increase in level. Since you can only build one thing at a time you end up launching the game about once a day. I’m now level 20 and it’ll take approximately a week for enough stone to be quarried! The design forces a choice: pay or play ridiculously slowly. Well, if I cannot play the game when I actually want to, then I look for a game that allows me to do so. Boom Beach has become very tedious because of the enforced delays. Deleted.

Beautiful game.
I’ve been playing Boom Beach for over 8 years now. I can’t really believe that a game can offer so much to keep you interested for this length of time, but it really does. I’ve had 2 maxed accounts and a few others too. With experience, this game has something new to offer every time you start over. I have just started yet another account from scratch and with so much experience behind me, I am enjoying it more than ever. There is so much fun to be had at every stage of the game. Credit to Supercell for creating this masterpiece. It’s probably the only game I’ll remember when I’m old & grey, thinking back over the good old days.. 🤟😎

Always logging on
I have played this game for a number of years now and have enjoyed it until now, overall this is a brilliant game but recently when I have clicked on to an island with a view to attacking the game just freezes and I have to delete, reload and log in to supercell, making the game unplayable
I also play another supercell game without this problem , I have no idea how to fix this and although I would recommend the game as a whole if this fault can’t be rectified I will have to abandon it,
I would appreciate some help here

Boom beach review
I LOVE THIS GAME it’s the best game ever there are no ads, the graphics make you feel like your actually a commander and there are other places like warship and operation however one thing the boom cannons are a little to strong and it can one shot my tanks when I am approaching them and I have to waste a power up for my magma statues but then I will lose troops and I have to wait a long time so I can attack again then the power up will run out I have to keep wasting more and more constantly. However apart from that still a GREAT game to play I recommend it by a mile thank for creating it developers it’s phenomenal.

Warships is Flawed
I’ve been playing Boom Beach for a number of years and Warships was a great addition. However, it has one crucial flaw which has allowed what seems to be a legitimate form of cheating. I’ve just played against a player who has only deployed 4 Engine Rooms whilst I have 6 as the map dictates. The map extension is for 6 Engine Rooms and he has clearly kept two back. He should be forced to deploy all of them, and not be selective. You may argue that I should be quicker, but that’s not the case as he has more defences to defend fewer Engine Rooms and that immediately places the attacker at a disadvantage. Please make it that the Engines Rooms, when earned, are deployed automatically and players are then forced to defend them, as the situation simply allows players to not only have a higher defence to Engine Room ratio, but the reward for clearing the map is also out of balance, and is not fair.
MARCH 2022 I have now taken the decision to permanently delete this game, having played it daily for a number of years.
The recent March 2022 Warship season continues to see players choosing to deploy fewer and fewer engine rooms, which in my view, is a form of cheating, but is allowed by the developers, who don’t listen to feedback and have now made it even more difficult to make contact with customers.
They clearly don’t care, so neither will I.

Crap game
I used to love this game But it’s got ridiculous now the long waiting times for upgrades on buildings stupid rewards when you conquer somebody’s island also the troops are getting boring now when the season tournament begins get rid of that freeze season it is crap you start off with the worst lineup ever you have no chance of concreting or winning but even if you do win a challengeTells you that you’ve lost it I spent hours on this I don’t even bother now it’s a waste of time when there’s better games out. GOOD BUT BAD
Overall I started this game 3 weeks ago, the game itself is really fun and addicting, there are no annoying ads or stupid glitches. Overall really good game and interesting. Also I love how you decide the strategy’s you do to win battles. However there are some thing that make the game a bit worse, the building and upgrading times are really long, even on low lever buildings the time takes too long, for example to upgrade to level 3 wood storage I had to wait 45 mins which is unnecessarily long on low level. Also the fact that there are only one set of builders, this also slows the game play down as makes it worse experience as you can’t play the game without having to wait for soo long, also it’s annoying as you can’t upgrade as quickly, I think that if you add more builders or even that you can employ people to become builders it would boost the game experience dramatically.

Base design
I really enjoyed this game of yours (like all others) and it definitely deserves top ratings. There is only one annoying thing is when you come to base designing, when you want to change your base you have to move it on your island and it is hard especially if it is packed and I think it would be a lot better and easier if it was like in Clash of Clans which makes base designing very good and easy.
So I was wondering if you could make that possible

About warships
Most funnest game ever but maybe needs a few improvements because when you’re able to do warships and your opponent finishes your base at the same time as you beat theirs it normally says a completely different time than what you or your opponent did it at. I don’t really think you need the tribes or diamonds. I also think mechs are just a waste of time, they take forever to beat something just like tanks. Tanks have three seconds before each shot and do very little damage. You should get some troops like scorchers at HQ level thirteen. In winter you should have a choice on whether you want snow and pines or green grass and mangroves.

Good game
I feel like this game could do with a lot more work give that my alt accountWhich is only at level 12 got paired up with a level 18 this I think is quite a devastating bug and the only reason I think this is happening is because of the rank I’m at I think it should be level based I’m not ranked base because for completion list like us it can really put a curb in our step
But otherwise really good game I’m really enjoying it and keep doing what you’re doing PS try and bring down the recruitment time it will take hours for me to load up my landing craft just because of this

Brilliant
Great game love warships as it’s so much easier to earn gems now. Long time fan I still think I remember the first mega crab and the release of heroes. I have some suggestions for it though, can you make it so dr kavan follows your troops at the start of battles many a time have I placed all my troops on mega crab and dr kavan only follows them once they are In range if the mortars (high level infantry and heavy load out so this is really annoying) and since I use ice shield I have to activate it right at the start of the battle and by the time my troops reach any heavily defended areas the duration has run out. Please can you fix this. Also can you make the insta troop training a bit cheaper for warships it’s a recurring problem that I run out of troops and don’t want to spend any diamonds on them.

Ideas and worth your time
First off, this in my opinion is a masterpiece as there are no ads and it’s free to play (unless you are impatient) and it feels rewarding. I particularly like warships as it gives you extra things to do. The lower star reviews say warships is rubbish, but I only started around two months ago by the time I write this, and warships is fair as it groups you up with similar players. It’s a beautiful game that’s is super fun! But the next section is for supercell really.
I have a few ideas for the game that might make it better, hopefully it is not too problematic. I think Boom Beach does not work with the community much. So my idea is to involve the community more! This could be implemented for when, for instance, you run out of ideas. It may happen eventually so you could make a contest were people submit a weapon idea and whatever weapon you think is best could be added to the game! I hope you consider this review before playing the game and I hope you read this Supercell as I would love to see more community interaction!

Drop out
Currently LV67 with this game. Got bored and didn’t play for over a year. Came back to find a few upgrades but every time I use boost potions the game looses connection mid attack. You reload to find the game you lost when you were just about to win and all your troops are dead.
Now you gotta wait 1hr 10mins or spend over 200 gems replenishing them. It’s a fix to get you to buy gems......... for sure!!! 😡

Brilliant game BUT...
This game is fantastic. I have progressed reasonably far and am comfortable with my tf. Almost everything about this game is perfect. However, there are some minor issues that should be fixed. The first one is the price of zookas. If you can get 13 on max level boats they shouldn't cost to much? No, but they cost 3 gems for every 1 zook. This means at my level, where I can fit 10 zooks, I am having to pay 130 gems to quickly get my boats filled up. As a f2p player this is a pain. One other issue is warships. Especially this season, we have been given crooners to start with, and they do very little damage and have little health, not allowing lower+level players to progress through the ranks. Overall, a brilliant game!

Could be soooo much better!
Quality game just cant play on it that much through out the day, not enough bases to attack or the bases are far too hard to beat for my level of attack strategies. It would be alot better if it was the same as This Means War, where u can flick through multiple bases until you find a suitable one to attack. This would make the game alot more enjoyable to play and players wouldnt find themselves grinding the game out. Also there are not enough builders, but you dont really get the chance to make enought supplies anyways so that doesnt really matter. Sometimes i find myself really wanting to play but i cant because i cant attack bases that are 10 levels higher than me, there defences are far too strong for my attack, this in turn means i actually lose more than i gain in terms of coins. This has to change!!!!!!

Boom!
I love boom beach for a couple of reasons...
1) You have 2 options to play the completionist the first option is where you upgrade your HQ then upgrade important stuff like landing crafts, radar, armoury etc. because if you upgrade stuff you get tokens to level up and that certain level upgrades you HQ that unlocks new stuff. The second option is where you upgrade everything that you can upgrade then upgrade you HQ then repeat, I find that it’s less stressful than the first option and it’s easier to 100% complete the game. The only problem is it takes time to upgrade buildings.
2) The aura is awesome it’s where it’s Viking times but it has tanks but the radar shows the map which is called the archipelago so military mixed with vikings which I find awesome.
3) The statues are really cool I hav
I can’t think of anymore but if you want to complete a game this is going to take you years I’ve been on and off this game for ages my 2nd option to play is where I can keep it up and I am loving it so much!

Absolutely Beautiful game, well made
Where do I begin, I’ve played boom beach for years now, before hq 15 was out and things like proto defences, troops, warships and so many other amazing features were added, I’m so glad to have seen this game grow and develop. My current account is the best I have had a boom beach account so far, as I am hq 16, close to 17, so I’ve got things like proto defences, warships and other great features. It’s soo good to see even now that they are still adding new troops and features like the mech and the blueprint things that speed up building times and fill resource storages, so I hope that they will keep on updating the game and adding these types of features at a steady pace. Warship wins
it’s happing again!!!!!
When playing in warship mode, it’s starting to get rather annoying when winning and then at the end of it, it says you lost. I.e you play, you smash all your enemies generators and the meter shows you won by showing no more gens to smash, you then go to the page that shows you the % smashed, time it took and it says you can spectate on your enemies progress, it then says I’ve lost!!??
It is also stating I have smashed all the generators with my the opposing attacker having 1 or 2 left..... then when I’ve finished it says I’ve lost???? Can someone explain this or can this be fixed as like I say it’s annoying!!

Good game, but...
Overall, this is a good game. I’ve been playing for years. I pretty much did everything on one account, and decided to create a new one to start over. So I’ve been on this new account for about a year now. But warships Season 13 kinda ruined it for me. I swear there are bots battling me. I know that sounds like absolute crap, but in my defence, I have been battling people, and I have max level machine guns, reasonable level mortars, and sniper towers. Yet most of my opponents still manage to beat me in under 30 seconds. It’s even more irritating that some people have the same level defences and a similar base layout, but still manage to beat me? Thanks.

Good pick up and put down game
If you are after a quick game to break the boredom of the day this is it. The AI takes a bit of getting used to but you build up your troops and home base you go along. The pure variety of the bases built by others makes this a puzzle game too. Use different combinations of troops and ‘heroes’ to battle other islands.
You can pay to upgrade if you require but this is not necessary if you have some patience between games, since the troops usually take about 45 to 60 minutes to recharge.

A bit disappointing
I’ve stuck with this game for some time now and spent a fair sum of money on it. Unfortunately it seems to settle down to being surrounded by opponents who are several ranks higher than you and even as much as 15 or more ranks higher, which are impossible to defeat. Very occasionally you will find one who has not laid out their defences very well, but this gets rarer as you rank higher. If you are a millionaire’s kid with unlimited funds, it is probably a hoot getting to the highest rank, but for ordinary mortals it becomes tedious. Also Warships is borked and keeps wrongly giving victories to my opponent when I have clearly won.

Needs new thinking and ideas
I have been playing BB for a number of years. I even stopped playing for over 6 months. Decided to go back and the new Battleship challenge has been added.
At first I thought great something new. However what a farce it is. It is I’ll thought out and frankly a poor attempt to add new challenges to the game. This season (7) they have tried to stop the heavy chopper fiasco and have tried to bring strategy back and not a speed race.
However for me my last season meant i started this new season at level 10. The issue is the offence is woefully under powered compared to defences. Therefore you are stuck. Progress is done by destroying engine rooms however you cannot reach them. Total madness and with seemingly no thought by the developers.
The only way to progress is to deliberately lose which lots of players were doing as well. So all the effort of the last season is wiped out if I need to go backwards just to get out of a rut created by poor game creation.
It’s a shame this is my longest running game but unless the start listening to feedback I will sadly stop playing.

Good but.....
It's a good combat game, but the restrictions both on building and upgrading etc of base and troops is what is slowing things down. Plus gaining gems needs to increase in frequency, not everyone can afford or have the means to make in app purchases. Time scales need reducing dramatically, quantity of building and reinforcements etc should increase.
That said it's an interesting and engaging strategy game. Maybe have more interactive control of the troops to move them into positions harder for the base being attacked to defend or so that the troops aren't in full range of the defences. Also maybe troop to troop combat could be implemented.
Just a thought...or two.😁😊✌🏻️
Additional. What about a function that allows you to challenge an opponent who has raided your base, or to allow for a counter strike/retaliation. Plus it would be cool to be able to call for an air strike as well.

Added additional, I have discovered that when I’m battling in the warship section, several times I have clearly won the battle by defeating my enemy before he/she has finished their destruction, but when the tiebreak results come up, I find that I have lost by on average nearly 10 seconds, even though visually it’s clear to me that I have destroyed my enemy.

Good game but...
First of all let’s say one thing. This game is absolutely amazing, it keeps you entertained for hours at a time. Only downside is it never saves my progress when I delete it; I have had to restart 4 time s even though the game has told me (before I deleted it) that my progress would be saved. Other than that though, this game is very good. If anyone asked me to recommend an app this would be my choice without any doubt. This is most likely one of the best mobile games ever created, and it isn’t just me who thinks that, apparently. The rating this game has is definitely well deserved, I highly recommend you get this game if you haven’t already.

Update problem (again)
This used to happen every time a new update was available. I thought you had got over this what with the last few updates working but it seems that the problem is back again. Update is available but when I go to the update screen the only option is to open the game but when I touch open it goes back to the game where the only option is update etc round in circles and NOT updating. Spoiling my game time as it just doesn’t work and it used to stay like that for a day or two. I wonder how long it will take to right itself this time! That’s why I gave you only one star rating this time. The game is top of the range when it works.

Game over at level 65
Its hard at the start. Getting stuff together and the like. Upgrades come slowly. But eventually you hit level 65 and its effectively game over. No real challenges, and resources are a waste of time as you cant do anything with them at that stage except see attackers take them. Dont get me wrong, its been fun, and task force games can be fun as well. But when you hit level 65 the fun drops off quite fast. If you get a year oit of it then its not all bad. Just dont waste actual cash on it, you will just get to the boring levelfaster..no defence is perfect. No attack either. Just play it and have fun til it stops being fun anymore.

Know how to play!
I have two accounts one is around 5 years old the other 2. I’ve been a regular everyday player in all that time and I have to say that generally speaking I love the game. But you have to know how to play it without spending cash. I’ve spent a fair bit in the total time I’ve been playing but nothing in recent times. I use my maxed account to collect diamonds and spend them in the Mega Crab to boost through to trophy levels or a little in warships to close out a war chest. Reviewers need to remember that this game is fundamentally a commercial operation and if you can’t enjoy it without spending more money than you are happy to then frankly you’re just not good enough at it or you expect too much from it. Having said that the game is probably nearing its day commercially unless they reboot the main Island gameplay. It’s been fun.

I started playing this game again this Saturday and have loved it. The thing I find annoying though is the long building and training times. It would be nice if they could make them a bit shorter.
This afternoon I was loading onto the game and it said ‘UNDER MAINTENANCE’ so I have waited a bit and now it says ‘UPDATE REQUIRED’ but I have updated it but now every time I go onto the game it says ‘UPDATE REQUIRED’ so I don’t know what to do.
I hope the developers read this and I hope they fix it soon. Very Good game though, can’t keep my fingers off. :)

Warships is a waste of time
I’m still to reach level 12 at my home base, but I can still play warships. However it seems in this game mode the strategy is, is to just fire all your artillery at one generator and hope either the person your playing against doesn’t do the same thing or actually attack’s your base and destroys it all. my artillery and boat are both not upgraded at all as I have gone for the more defensive approach. My defences are totally bypassed though by the artillery where someone waits to see if my attack was unsuccessful and then fires artillery destroying one of my generators without even landing one of his troops. To stop this annoying strategy where it’s more taking advantage of the low health generators the artillery and other gunboat abilities should have little effect on the generators, for example add a resistance effect for the generators. Warships has so much potential but literally just before I decided to right this complaint, this strategy was used on me 5 times in a row!!! Please fix it.

Money, Money, Money
After all the hype I feel really disappointed, I stuck with the game for months because I thought it would improve but now just feels like I am forced to spends money on diamonds for upgrades... I lose countless battles in a row and end up moving further away from the next upgrade available and unless I have diamonds have to wait for hours to get troops back, that means at any one time I get max 3 hits and if I lose them all I am worse off... and then lied the next problem I don’t select my opponent that means I could end up battling someone who is far more upgraded than I am and just end up getting wiped out very quickly.... I have a strong suspicion that Warships was intended as a money spinner for Supercell rather improvements for the gamers

Awesome.
I’ve played this game from when it first came out and it’s still as fun then as it is now.
Keeps your mind ticking and always trying to find the perfect defence.
Don’t have to pay to play. I haven’t bought anything for years. Just be patient and it’ll all come to you eventually.
There’s room for the pay to play people but unlike say, someone who pays very rarely and enjoys the game as it is. The best thing about it is there’s no big alliances hitting you and no fear of putting shields up like Mobile Strike. Which is, I feel, for pro players.
To sum up, game great, everything else is pants!🤪🤪🤪

Starting to get a bit boring and internet issues
Quite a lot recently I've been attacking and half way through it's decided to loose connection yet when I click try again it works perfectly fine
The new boat is good but the main base is just really starting to get boring especially how you can only build/upgrade one thing at a time which when you upgrade your base is a real pain.
In conclusion they need to fix the connection issues as speaking with other people with this game have the exact same issue and also they need to make the main base a whole lot more interesting!

Warships combat is rubbish
This game has been made better by warships (I only play mainly for warships) but At combat level 11 up you start to go down in which is ok but when fighting all you have to do is maximum upgrade bombs, destroy one engine room with 4 bombs then get their other room half health and is basically luck if they manage to destroy 1 building just before you. So I what I’m saying is that the combat isn’t really strategic anymore in terms of troop placement and where you attack first, which is what it should be, if necessary strengthen the engine rooms by a large proportion. Other than that love the warships game mode and the tech tree idea so you can experience high level defences which is cool and troops

New Update needs fix
I am enjoying the new update with the new warship gameplay. However it’s difficult to play now due to the view being restricted.
I like to zoom out a lot when playing, so I can see where rockets etc are and my troops when I set them on the beach to fight in different areas. Now I have only a restricted view of the gameplay due to the max zoom being more restricted. Can you fix this please and enable us to zoom out more on the island/map.

Updates!
This has been on of my favourite games for a very long time and still is but the only thing that bugs me about this game is the glitch when loading your troop, when I load my troop I’ll go off the app and then go back on and it says I need to load my troops which I had just done but apart from that I love the strategical aspects of this game and all the upgrades you can make to your defenses, one thing that would be cool to be able to upgrade is the hero hut so it can look different than the hut I’ve seen for so long now, thanks

So when you start it is annoying as takes a bit of time to save stuff up to build and start battling but what a very addictive game!!
You can spend lots of time on the game or spend money up to you but join a clan as soon as possible! It helps build things up quicker and wish i had at start.
Game play is easy , very few bugs or breaks in this game, great little adventures every day to be had.
Only reason 4.9/5 is because trader you wait for and gives you barely nothing for a weeks hard work and also gives you tokens ! People have a trusted hero so why keep giving tokens ? Give more valuable resources.

We’ve come a long way but...
I’ve been playing this game for 2.5 years... most days... I’ve invested a lot of time.
No other game has kept my attention anywhere close, I’ve built friendships in a task force with people on the other side of the world and well, I’ve never paid a penny for any of this, just pure dedicated game play.
So why 3 stars..? Well, reading through comments I’m clearly not alone, I’m level 65, everything is maxed out, I have nothing to do. Even Mega Crab has lost its charm and the daily events are repetitive and lacking reward enough to want to take up the challenge.
Please build out the game, quite honestly I would happily pay for some sort of an add in... so many options, to name but a few...
- grow your island
- new weapons and troop options
- explore new added locations
- mix up the daily challenge
- do something with the random message in a bottle
- let task forces go up against other task forces
Honestly I could go on for hours.
Please do something... I really don’t want to leave behind the hours of effort!

Updates please. Something for level 65 to continue.
Love the game as I have been playing it for over two years. Now I have upgraded everything and have maxed out every defence, weapon, artillery etc; it’s quite repetitive! The mega crab is great but need some additional challenges to keep those of us that are level 65 (MAX) engaged.
I have nothing to spend my resources on now so I’m just collecting them without being able to spend them. Please can you add new challenges to keep me playing or I will have to find another game to play.
Like I say, I love the game and has kept me entertained for many months and would like to keep playing.
There is too much of a gap between mega crabs which leaves the game, in some instances, boring to continue.

Whats the point anymore for a loyal gamer????
I doubt this will be read by the developers of this game let alone anything done about it - but i wanted to say i have loved and played this game every day for the last 2 years + and have strived to be the best commander i can be - BUT the developers are doing nothing to keep me wanting to play this game - so WHAT’S THE POINT ANYMORE ????
@ level 65 I now find myself MAXED out of everything - armoury, weapons, chests, houses etc - i even only have a couple of achievements left to collect.
There is no point in collecting resources if you can’t do anything with them other than waste them or lose them to attacks on your base!
For me - there is nothing left to strive for @ this point which is really disappointing to a real lover of the game such as me and there must be lots of us in the same situation.
Why don't Developers do something to help people in my position to keep playing? Add in some achievements, increase maximum levels in the armoury, add another weapon to collect - the possibilities are clearly endless - but its clear the developers don’t care about us loyal gamers enough 😞
I for one am playing less & less & will give up altogether soon as its no fun anymore & that is a real shame.
So in case anyone out there is listening - do better for us loyal gamers who have loved your game & give us something more to strive for!!!!

Great game, but...
This game is great to play and extremely enjoyable the only problem is that everything takes a painfully long time to upgrade and build, sure diamonds instantly finish them but it always gets to a point we’re you have to spend actual money and that bothers me. You only get one builder and everything takes hours to build, they should have at least two standard builders because I’ve gotten to the point were I upgrade/ build something then I turn my phone of for hours then once it’s built I repeat the process

PAID SUBSCRIPTION FOR BUILDERS
As the title says. One time purchases and purchases for gems to speed a long grind (which can also be speeded up via skill), is what makes games like this good.
I play a lot of clash of clans and thought ill download every SC game. I’d downloaded this in the past but deleted it and couldnt remember why.. until my ONE BUILDER was busy and it said SUBSCRIBE FOR £3/month for more!
lol dont care about the game at all I occasionally spend £20 here and there on clash so that probably works out to more than the subscription fee... but its the thought of a reoccurring payment that just puts me off. I dont a monthly bill from a mobile game. Would advise everyone just to get clash instead. If they remove this I might try the game again.

Connection problems
I live in the Styx which means I have rubbish internet and playing this game is an absolute pain, if you loose internet you loose your attack (if doing imitation game or something similar) you also tend to loose all of your troops even though you may have completed the attack on your phone - the server says otherwise! I’ve been playing for a long time now and they still haven’t addressed this problem and in my eyes, along with many people in my TF, this NEEDS to be addressed. E.G loosing connection during a TF attack means you loose your attack so the whole TF suffers. Big problem needs to be addressed.

I progressed too fast it seems
I have played all of Supercell mobile games and by far this is my fav one. I like the idea that it takes planning to outsmart your opponents and when you do it feels amazing. My only issue is that I happened to progress a bit faster than expected and now I am lvl 29 with the rank of Lieutenant 1 class and I face opponents with the same rank lvl 45+ which makes it impossible to me to overwhelm them. If that could be fixed in order to face off enemies closer to your lvl it would be amazing and make it even more fun.
