Such an amazing variety of foods, meals and tastes to suit everyone.
The new updated design is fresh and extremely user friendly with new features like changing the measuring units from metric to imperial, meal plans available at the touch of a button, the ability to share you're personal favourite recipes and you can even customise the amount of servings so you get the ingredients perfect each and every time!!!
oh yeah and before I forget it even tells you the nutritional data for each meal which is SO valuable if your macro-counting.
All in all such a powerful app for both the amateur chef to the most professional of chefs who need some new ideas.
I wish I could give it 10 stars haha.

I bought this and they keep asking for money
I've never used this app for recipes and most of the time, I find free content on Google and make those.
Also, I understand that new content is a constant revenue spinner, but once I've paid for an app, I expect to get future updates. This app has changed so as new recipes have been added, I have to pay for the extra ones. That's really annoying and quite disloyal to the people who decided to give you money already.
I won't be paying for more in app purchases because there is no nutritional information and the recipe finders (to filter on foods you have in the cupboard) are rubbish. Also, it doesn't sync in with other apps. It is overly US-centric and the recipes are not properly paleo or overly simplistic that a lazy vegetarian could make them up.
Save yourself the money and Google "healthy recipes" for the foods you like.

A taste of Christmas
Great app.I was getting bored with the same old food so thought I'd give this a go.Easy to use and the recipes are delicious.Sweet caveman pie tastes of Christmas and the avocado burgers were delicious.Like the shopping cart feature aswell.

The app looks great, has great recipes and works perfectly. The downsides so far are the number of recipes in a category can sometimes be hard to read and there is no nutritional information provided for the dishes, a big shame for those of us who like to have an idea of our macros!

Would be amazing...
This would answer all my problems and is a fantastic brilliant app, however I am new to paleo eating and I do not want non paleo ingredients in my foods, for example - many of the goodies section has things like dark chocolate chips and baking soda in.
I'm looking for a clean paleo diet and was really looking forward to finding out what goodies I could still have but now have to check ingredients against another app to see if it's ok or not which is too much effort.
I would still give this 5 stars if these items were under an "almost paleo" section, but unfortunately this is no good for me and is not what it says on the tin :(

Just what I was looking for
Have followed a primal/Paleo way of eating for a while now but needed some inspiration to try new recipes. Being in the UK I have had problems in the past with weights and measures but this automatically converts at the touch of a button. It is also teaching me to use a slow cooker giving tender winter comfort foods to try. I am using it on iOS 7 and love the ease of use. Will certainly use more from these guys. Thank you.

WOW... Fantastic app...!!!!!
This is the app I've been waiting for, great recipes that are easy to follow & as a bonus are beautifully photographed & presented.
I'm fairly new to paleo & love the whole lifestyle choice & results, this app though I know is going to make food & meal choices, planning & preparing a whole lot easier.
An example of this is that I work 12 hour day & night shifts for an emergency service & before in the middle of a run of shifts, specifically nights meal/food planning & preparation has been (a nightmare) & the hardest thing for me to adapt & plan for.
It's simple now because this app is the answer... & I think the Civilised Caveman has bought paleo food preparing from the past to the future...

Nice to use app and thankfully you can switch measurements metric to imperial with a clear press of a button (Big thing if here in UK you don't regularly use cups as a measurement).

Good interface - well designed, easy to use while cooking.
Good recipes - huge variety of recipes without needing an unfeasibly large or complex store cupboard. Also doesn't need tilapia or pumpkin for every other recipe, which is an annoying trait of some paleo recipe books!
Also really good to see it include recipes for staple condiments like BBQ sauce and mayonnaise.
Better than most paleo cookbooks and a hell of a lot cheaper!

Brilliant app with some really original recipes, perfect for the paleo lifestyle. LOVE the unit converter too, a lot of paleo books and recipes are American and they work in cups, with this you can switch it to grams! Love it!

Almost perfect app
The recipes look delicious ... haven't tried them yet, and I will have to do some mods as I am strictly Ketogenic, which is beyond Caveman, being an older guy with a completely shot endocrine system that needs fewer carbs than are in some recipes.
The photography is wonderful, and I will use the app to show people when they say "but what is there left to eat?" (Yes, I know some unimaginative people!)
The app is brilliant, but I came across a bug, and I have some items for the wish list for the next release.
When you e-mail a recipe, it only e-mails the ingredients, not the process. That's my "bug".
My wish-list is: I want to design a meal with several dishes, and have the app generate me a shopping list for the meal.

Great Recipies
I've looked at a few different recipe sources, but having them in an app just makes them so much more accessible. I normally have my iPhone or iPad in the kitchen with me anyway and this app is really easy to browse, and follow from the clear ingredients to the cooking instructions. Some great recipes in here too - going to try the beef tongue this weekend. Hopefully these will be added to on an ongoing basis. Only rating 4 stars at the moment, its great, but there's limited content so far, and I think a search function will be useful eventually. Thanks for the app Abel!
