It’s a good app for Nintendo news at the moment there’s not much I’m excited for the daily Switch 2 news (edit: I loved it but since then it’s been pretty boring again) but we need more themes hopefully we’ll get a Kirby one at some point (edit:we just did I am so happy) well anyways it’s good for a new app

New app recommendation
I think this app is amazing. I have a new app recommendation, but I can’t find anywhere else to recommend it. I think a music app that has tutorials for songs like Super Mario Bros. BGM. I think this app would be very useful as I always want to learn how to play songs from Nintendo games. I hope you, Nintendo, reads this and makes this app. Thank you. Keep up the incredible work.

It’s ok but I can’t make calendar events directly in the app, instead it redirects me to apples own calendar app. But what I like is that you can change the theme to a game that you like and that you can check the calendar events but still can’t create any from the app

Problematic
It’s a good way of feeding news, but it hasn’t been scaled properly to iPads but also there is no sound on iPad mini when playing content but it does work fine on iPhones hence 2 stars

Nice idea. Hopefully becomes more useful.
Love the unique daily Pixar style animations. Would be great if I could simply tap to shuffle between franchise themes instead of going into a sub-menu. Calendar widget looks to need a bit of an update and bug fix and whole app made to feel snappier and faster to load.
I like the idea of a daily Nintendo news / social media style app. If not fully consumed by your corporate overlords, maybe add a curated feed from recent Nintendo YouTube creators too?
Hopefully the app becomes more useful over time.

So i am a Nintendo guy and with the switch two coming out it gives it tension and makes me excited for 5th of June so I can get my hands on one,the animated calendar gives it its Nintendo feel and with lots of different themes AND a widget it’s perfect for Nintendo fans,the animations and clips are also really cool so ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 10/10 5 stars

Completely useless
There’s nothing in this app at all. No metroid theme, you can only select news regarding 5 or 6 games, no audio for videos of the device is muted (seriously?), navigation is messy. There’s a lot of empty space. Why? Because there’s nothing in this app! I’d be better off just reading the news elsewhere as always.

Honestly, there’s no better daily news app like Nintendo Today. It’s so great and even has different themes from Nintendo’s franchises. You can also put a widget on your phone to remind you of the daily Nintendo news. By the way, can’t wait to see the Switch 2 Direct on April 4th. See you there, Nintendo! <3

Actually quite a fun app!
I love the idea of this app being that we can all get live notifications and updates about certain things within the Nintendo franchise! The themes are so fun and having widgets makes it even better, honestly wish we had something like this sooner

I can indeed confirm that nintendo have released a glorified calender, with the purpose to make the nintendo switch online service actually worth it.

First review - useful app
Watched Nintendo direct and was waiting till this app went live to download. Just used it and we all know from Direct its to get news for future Nintendo Directs, however the bonus is you can get game events for switch online or just in general. Small selection at the moment and same for what background you want (I wanted Pokemon, but picked animal crossing new horizons background instead). Obviously just released but I’m sure they will add more in the future. Now I don’t have to search on socials on the internet to find when next Nintendo direct will be announced. There’s nothing more else to do on this app just for curious people. But it is what it says on the tin. Just make sure to turn notifications on in the actual app settings (when you are in the app) to get future notifications.
