Over charged
I was charged for signing up £19.99 for my first month as advertised. Then I noticed I was charged £1 the same day, then £1 the following day. I can’t understand why this happened, but all the same I’ve cancelled my subscription due to the app taking these un foreseen expenses. If this company does this to 100 people that’s an additional £200 from un-knowing customers. Unacceptable!

The app is nothing special and after a while start making you charges out of nothing (in their terms and use they establish that can charge you fees at their sole discretion). There is no way or option in the app to cancel your subscription, so I was forced to block my credit card.

TERRIBLE APP - do not fall for it
I felt compelled to write a review for this app, as I have found the customer service extremely unhelpful, and a waste of my time. I signed up for the app for a 2 week period, however, they automatically charged my account for a full month right after the 2 week period was finished, and now come up with all sorts of excuses why not to give me a refund. It’s one of those apps that hopes you’ve forgotten you signed up, didn’t read the small print and then keep charging your account. It didn’t say anywhere that I signed up for a trial, I specifically signed up for 2 weeks. Really POOR POOR POOR.

I’m not happy with this app. I bought what appeared to be a one off course for £19 and a later a second payment £59 was taken. The course was ok but not worth the now £78 I have paid for it. The support email didn’t exist. I asked PayPal to request a refund it was refused. I’m happy to pay for value - but instead I paid via sneaky tactics.

Absolute Scam
This is a shocking scam. There is ZERO customer service. I signed up at £19 p/m which they took but a few days later they stole £60 from my account. Absolutely no response from their so called customer service. I’ve cancelled the subscription and deleted the account but they attempt to take £60 from my account every week on a Sunday. I have contacted my bank and they are treating it as a fraud case and are trying to get my money back. The actual app is nonsense too, it’s just put together by AI and offers no new or original content. RiseGuide needs to be stopped.

Scam! Avoid at all costs
I had a very poor experience with this app. I signed up thinking it was a one-off payment, only to find out later it was actually a hidden subscription. There was no clear warning, no emails, and no easy or obvious way to check my subscription status or cancel it. £60 was taken from my account without my consent. When I tried to log in, there were no subscription management options. Upon complaining, I haven’t been offered a refund, partial or otherwise. Totally shady practices — stay well away!

This app is a scam, do not buy! I accidentally purchased and then tried to open it but it doesn't work (either on my phone or laptop). I emailed them and got an automated reply saying I could have 50% refund. I emailed them again 6 times and they haven't replied to anything.

So I bought this through an Instagram advert as a promotion - £15. And it wasn’t apparent that it was a subscription app. I had no emails from them and no warning that they were about to take £60 from my account. I tried to sign in to see why but my email didn’t work for login. The app doesn’t tell you anything about the subscription costs or charges either. Initially customer service seemed good and they looked about to refund me, but then offered me only 50 percent refund and have ghosted me since (over a

This is a scam. Very poor content, so cancelled after 1 month. Or so I thought I did. They’ve taken 2 subsequent payments of £60 despite multiple emails telling them to cancel. Contact your credit card provider to put a merchant block on, it’s the only way to stop them taking payments.

It is more a less a scam. They charge you even after you’ve followed all the steps to ensure you have properly unsubscribed.
They charger you a woooping high amount weeks and months after the free train finished even tho you have unsubscribed and then after emailing them. They only reply back once with a lame idea. They are willing to give you a refund but they would rather give you a months free access.

Do not purchase this. I purchased from a Facebook ad. I received an email talking about a product different to the one advertised and was then told to download this app. The app did not work. I requested a refund and had to fill out a form showing the error message and was then told I could have an extra month free (of a product I can’t access) or a 50% refund as this falls outside their money back guarantee. I CANT ACCESS IT!!! It’s a con.
