at first when i got this app it was good because i was able to slowly learn crochet patterns as a beginner and i could make a lot but now i have to pay to get the patterns which is 99% of them. i understand if it’s some but for most to be on “pro” is ridiculous because there isnt a lot to offer.

I thought when I downloaded this app I would be able to see some knitting patterns but all I have seen so far has been Crochet which I can not do and I am too old to try to learn how to crochet. I’m happier with knitting so if you want to learn to knit Don’t DOWNLOAD THIS APP AS IT IS MAINLY CROCHET.

Clothing patterns are useless
The clothing patterns don’t have any sizes on. There is guidance on how to scale up or down but you dont know what you are starting with so it’s pointless. I’ve started making a few but had to unravel them all as they were the wrong size

The app is good and it’s a nice place to look for patterns but when I looked for some i couldn’t find a single one that wasn’t behind a pay wall. Also almost all of the pictures were ai generated. I get that it’s cheap but you can’t recreate something that isn’t even real.

This app is a disappointment and I now regret buying it.
Does not have a search option, you have to keep scrolling. Does not have separate crochet and knitting patterns- is the same pattern either crochet or knitting and one of them is not correct always!
The language is confusing, the videos rarely work properly.
I gave it 2 starts because if you are an absolute beginner you can use a couple of videos there, but you can also find free material! I’ve no idea why people gave it great reviews.

I like this app which I recently downloaded. My only criticism is, most of the patterns are for chenille yarn. I only crochet using cotton yarn and I know you have to cater for everyone but can we see more patterns using cotton yarn please.

I enjoy this app but it could be better. First off, the pattern generator only lets you create 1 pattern per day and then you can’t recreate it if you didn’t get want. Secondly, when I use the spelling bar above the keyboard, it automatically puts a space in the middle of the word. I don’t know why. However, this app has some good tutorials and ideas for patterns. I would recommend the app to my friends who crochet, but can you fix those little things?😅

This has really really helped me get going with crochet where YouTube and friends just weren’t working for me - but once you’ve done the beginner video tutorials of which there are 4 you’re kind of left to your own devices and there aren’t that many videos compared to just step by step patterns. I paid for a month thinking I’d get more and it’s essentially exactly the same as not paying!!’so don’t bother

I downloaded the app as an absolute beginner to crochet and honestly it’s so easy and helpful to follow!! The AI is such a great component as well because it helps dumb it down if you really haven’t a clue aha!!
Only reason it’s 4 stars for me is it’s hard to keep track of patterns you see. I wish they had an element that allowed you to save projects for the future so you can find them when you are ready to move on or when you want to buy the correct yarn etc.
Overall great app and would 100% recommend to any beginners or anyone stuck with ideas for their next projects!!!

This is my first review as I never did it, but this app is amazing! I learned how to crochet! It has small beginner friendly projects to help you with your journey, and all for free!
The only thing I wish it had were flipped videos for left handed people. I was a bit struggling at the start as I had to flip it in my head! 😜

I signed up for a free trial that I wanted to cancel prior to renewal however it’s automatically looped me into an annual subscription and charged £50! I’ve sent multiple emails to challenge and request a refund but had no reply! Please can somebody get in touch

App is nice but the cost is a killer for what it is. Realistically you might have one project a week. That’s a tough price to pay. I’d have kept it if it had had a yearly subscription that was more in line with my use of the app. But over £200 year for craft? ☹️☹️☹️

Wasted time and yarn
I am experienced in crocheting and this is a terrible app. The patterns i tried were wrong. The cat one should add extra line for example to make a ball finish and it like pointed terrible shape. So annoying and terribly frustrating I gave a try for your app!!! I would use a terrible word just express my feelings. !!! 🤬 don't use this app!!!

Advert isn’t accurate
I love that this app helped me learn to crochet and create my first real items. But there are some key issues that are disappointing. The first is that when following a pattern there are no photos of the process as you go along. This makes it difficult to check progress properly. Also if you need to check how to do a stitch there isn’t a direct link from the pattern to the tutorial so you have to leave the pattern, enter the tutorial then return to the pattern. My biggest annoyance is that the advert on social media for the app shows how you can take a photo and the app will design a pattern of it. I paid for gold membership so I could do this and you can’t. There is an AI prompt option to make a pattern but no possibility to make a pattern from a photo. That is dishonest and very disappointing.

From opening the app it was very clear that none of these patterns were created by a real crochet, they were all very much AI. Going onto that, i highly doubt the patterns will create anything decent. Dont waste your time, you can find good free patterns on youtube and from blogs, and if you are willing to purchase patterens i recommend ribblr.

So this app is nicely educational with crocheting and knitting,but the tutorials are confusing,the languages change and I can’t change the language nor finish off my project? Don’t waste your time - very disappointing
Saw this as an advertisement on instagram, looked really good so decided to download.
First thing I was greeted with was the app basically asking for £3.99 a week, that is way too expensive for something I might use maybe once a month at most. To be honest the price should be to buy the app at a one off cost say around £4 maybe £5 at a push not a subscription as all the patterns are AI generated.
Now for the patterns, they are inconsistent with terminology for example: make a MR, put 6 Sc in the ring, continue to increase every round until you have 42 single crochet, then decrease every round and join
This was for a pattern I generated using the app, there are no instructions for where the increases and decreases are meant to be, how to join together, when to colour change, so on an so forth.
When you open the app first time you are asked a series of questions about following instructions/reading patterns etc. but none of this is actually reflected in the patterns given. Why because it’s AI generated. I would suggest people Stick to real content creators who sell their patterns for a couple of pounds, with clear YouTube tutorials and human assistance when you are stuck.
This app just shows how AI doesn’t understand how crochet and knitting actually work, guys you need to go back to the drawing board with this one and to be honest, I personally don’t think you will ever get AI to create proper patterns for us who love crochet and knitting.
And stop trying to charge a subscription for this app, again a one off lifetime payment of £4 is more realistic.

Incomplete pattern!!
Awful app, I started a project and the guide was making no sense at all, there are no diagrams or charts, the yardage was wrong, specified a yarn colour but not the brand or even weight.
I searched online and found the exact pattern on Yarnspirations available for free and there’s a lot of steps missing.

I saw an ad on facebook for this app, and being an avid crocheter downloaded straight away, based on the photos shown on the ad. Once actually in the app and being told it’s 3.99 a WEEK, the patterns for the photos on the ad are no where to be seen.

Don’t waste your time
I have completed 2 projects and both the instructions are incorrect, gives different stitch count to what you actually have. It doesn’t explain how to finish pieces. Like how they are sewed together. The AI chat is so unhelpful, and tries to auto guess what you are trying to type and you have to constantly go back to fix what you have typed. When asked how to sew the piece to make the final project. It tells you to attach heads to body when the instructions make the head and body as one piece. I also did the free trial and found zero difference to the free account. Very disappointed with the app as a whole.
