I have used every translation app under the sun and this is barely functional.

First of all, it’s NOT live. The actual speech is recorded, sent away for processing and the translated audio is then sent back. Meaning there is 0 fluidity. You speak - send - (hope you have great signal) - wait for it to process - receive the audio - and then play it. Then the other person has to repeat. Making for a hideously awkward interaction.

Add to this the actual translation is really bad, with a robot voice from the year 2000.

In short, this is another app that relies on you forgetting to unsubscribe rather than focusing on making a functional app and selling a service people need.
