To access your motor finance agreements - you’ll need to sign up to Equifax Basic™ - all completely free after downloading the app. You’ll be provided monthly access to your Equifax Credit Score and your Statutory Credit Report as well as a simple way to view historical motor finance agreement information. No cost, no catch, no card required to sign up.
Features of the myEquifax app
- Car Finance Checker: View information related to your motor finance agreements.
- Equifax Basic Subscription: Register for a free Equifax Basic subscription in the app.
- Monthly Equifax Credit Score: Get your Equifax Credit Score (out of 1000) refreshed every month upon login.
- Safe to Check: Checking your score and report through Equifax Basic will not harm your credit rating.
- Your Statutory Credit Report: Access a basic view of your credit history, completely free of charge. This is the information lenders use when assessing credit applications and can only be viewed on equifax.co.uk.

Logging in was easy and I found details of all my car finance agreements from 2009.

Unable To Log In
Registration all done and I’m able to access my credit file online. The issue is this useless app where I can log in (as I get an email to confirm as I try to access) but after a spinning dial nothing happens! Been trying for over a week and even spoken to Equifax customer service. What’s the point of having an app which doesn’t work?

Useless
A total waste of time. Persistent Server issues. Password and user name don’t match. Customer service hopeless. They cant understand me and I can’t understand them! Absolutely rubbish.

Useless app that never connects
Constantly complains about no access to the internet and doesn’t therefore log in. Have tried 3 devices and two networks. They clearly don’t know what they are doing here.

Absolute waste of my time
Registration process and password setup doesn’t conform to any of the accepted norms making it more or less impossible to use with a password manager on iPhone.
