I hate the adds in this game!!
I don’t know why but every time I select a skin and try save it or edit it, ads pop up and stop 🛑 me from doing stuff therefore I cannot use the skins. So what is the point??? I use to love this game but because of the ads it has been stopping me from using this game...😤☹️Pls if you would get rid of the ads then I would appreciate the honour but pls…in your own time when you are not busy get rid of the ads. 😇😇😊😊😊😊

Minecraft skin app or Minecraft dating app? 🤢
I have used skinseed for a while and i have noticed things on this app that disgust me and probably others who use this app. People on this app mostly 9 year olds and teens use this app for online dating and its disgusting.. they do very graphic things in the comments of minecraft skins and its gross! 🤢 kids use this app and should not see this kind of stuff. What’s worse is the filter to block the inappropriate comments do not work and these things still appear and its disturbing, gross and many other things. And there are trolls who say disturbing stuff to other users and put lyrics of inappropriate songs in the comments and its freaking everyone out and even if they get banned they still come back.. oh and death threats did i mention death threats? im giving this app 1 star i wish i could give it a 0. I almost forgot to add the community is extremely toxic and rude to others. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!

It’s not novaskin but it’s safer and offline.
All of the skins there are free, and you can make your own using various paint tools, as well as a darken tool. Lacks some features that novaskin has like a wallpaper maker, a side catalogue of cosmetics, However, it does have much better moderation than that of novaskin.

I love Skinseed i would recommend downloading this bc it is not a scam and it actually works and the skins in the app actually allows u to use them in minecraft would recommend i love this game but pls add a feature on where u edit ur pfp the bottom button says (Choose From Camera Roll) or whatever so we can have our on custom not pixelated pfp bc that would really help a lot and I would recommend A LOT so keep up the great work bc i love this game!

This app is pretty dang good. First off the app is easy to use, you can get a wide range of colours and browse other people's creations. There is some pop up adds but you only need to pay 99p once to remove them. One problem is that the ankha thing is in one of the adds on the painter. Please remove it and make skinseed safe for all.

so i’ve had skinseed for about 2 years now, and the ads are getting worse. when you scroll through the skins, ads. try to export a skin, ADS. ADS ADS ADS! today i got 6 ads just trying to search something up. please reply to this and remove some ads? like i can understand it’s for money, but for the people who are trying to just export something, it’s so bad and just terrible. i would rate it 3 stars but i want people to see this.

I have been using this app for years and it had little no no adverts but now it feels like every button I click seems to trigger an ad. I don’t mind an advert but it is too extreme having them pop up every time you click ‘Search’ ‘save’ ‘export’. I don’t want no ads completely just a cut Down on the ads. Otherwise this is a really good app to get skins for your Minecraft world for free! It is also easy and fun to create too! The amount of adverts is a shame though.

Helpful but one problem
So, Skinseed is a very helpful game to create my skins they’re. But the last time I went to it ( today ) all my progress was out and it was like it reseted, I logged in with my Google account, I got my stuff back ( my pfp, my liked stuff ) but the stuff I made ( my wardrobe) everything was gone, not even a single thing in it. Please put an end to this issue, since all these skins did take me a while.

Ye it’s a good platform for making skins, I just wish you could export to more devices; for example, I play on Nintendo bedrock edition and it will be good if you can save the skin to your Microsoft account (for bedrock) then you can access it in any device linked to that account. :) hope they add some more features.

i have been on this godforsaken app for 6 years, completely addicted. it. is. the. worst.
i’ve probably used this actually for minecraft skins like twice in the past 3 years. in that department, it’s great, got some good creators and a wide range of choices.
but myyy deaaar looord do not let your kids onto the community i will tell you now, all the reviews talking about the community being good are lying to you. the amount of sexists, racists, homophobes, transphobes, etc i’ve absolutely owned in simply the past couple of weeks is astounding. it is not because i’m like a bigot sniffer dog or something. they are everywhere. they are seeping out of the cracks of hell to continuously bully your children and that is absolutely not a lie, everyone on here is 9 or 16 and the kids get bullied big time.
i’m not even gonna tell you how deep the iceberg gets, you don’t want to know who LOD is, the creepy roleplayers, the p*rn - YES P*RN THEY FIND A WAY - spammers.

Good but I found a glitch thing?
So I was on it this morning looking for a new skin and then it just started saying ‘error’ and having a button saying ‘dismiss’ and no matter what I did it wouldn’t go away and none of the skins were loading and I clicked off it and around 4 hours later tried again and it’s had the same issue! Other than that it’s a very helpful app!

skinseed is really good for creative stuff, and things you want that are in your style. but searching things and downloading photos causes an ad to play. this happens all the time because i search for stuff a lot, and it's really annoying that an ad plays every single time you do something ! i understand that apps need to advertise but this is too much, it's good except for the ads.

This is a great app. It has many skins to choose from and the creativity is unlimited. Unfortunately though there can be some inappropriate/nude skins and/or chat comments. Personally I would really like to see some anime skins on there though, especially my hero academia 💖

Overall this is an amazing app!!
Skin seed is pretty cool and I use it quite often. There are so many amazing creators that make awesome skins. If you want to find custom skins then I probably would recommend this to you. There are cartoon characters, celebs, animals, video game characters etc. But there are some issues, when you try to search for something a number of times every time you search it shows an advert it also happens when you try to save a skin so you can wear them in minecraft but yeah that’s all thanks for reading! 🙏☺️

The skins on this app are great, and overall I love it. However there is just one thing which I’m confused about, Because no one else has seems to have this problem.
I play on MCPE, and I can always see my skin, but not anyone else. To them, I’m just Steve.

This is a good app if you want aesthetic skins as there is a variety of different artists. One downside is the ton of ads but you can mostly skip them. Also there can be some not nice people on this app who can be mean for no reason or they could post 13+, 16+, 18+ content. I suggest if a child is on this that you check there profile often or sign your own device into the account

A little issue
I have been using this app for years but for some reason it’s started being weird. It was fine before. Every time you want to get a skin there’s an advert then you can get it. But for some reason after I watch it I can’t get it. It’s never done this before.. I will keep trying to see if it works. Just wanted to let you know! When I save my skin it’s blurry
I really like this app and it’s really good only one thing idk if it’s up to my phone or just the app, I made a skin and I saved it so I can use it for minecraft I tried saving it for the pocket edition and when I went onto my camera roll it was saved but the template was blurry and the blocks and details weren’t rlly visible idk if the maker of the app is going to see this but if anyone knows why please tell me tyyy x

Brilliant! But..
Skinseed is a great app that I’ve had for about a year now where you can make skins and then export them to Minecraft to use as your character. I think this is brilliant and certainly much better than any other Minecraft-skin-making apps. It has so many different colours to pick from (as well as a colour wheel, if that’s what it is called)! But.. ads. Literally every time I press one button an ad pops up and you usually have to wait ten seconds or more before continuing with your game. I think an update to have less ads (or just remove the ads completely) would be fab. But overall I think this is a great game and I recommend to all! ✌️

went downhill
When I first purchased the app it worked amazingly etc! Everything was fine and correct, i had no problems with it.
Recently though searching for good skins has became so hard. It only shows new skins and not the most recommended when i search for any sort of category.
The biggest problem that has occurred has made me completely stop using the app. A year or so after using the app my skins wouldnt show in multiplayer and id be steve. And only just recently have all the skins i use from the app became corrupt. Ill use them and boom, nothing. Ive tried other skin apps and they work, its just this one.
A small problem I have with the app is the ads. There are SO MANY- sometimes i see something I want to check out but then dont want to use, check out another and then an ad that is rather hard to skip pops up.
Im so close to deleting this app, as its no use to me currently.

Skinseed is a GREAT app!
Skinseed is a well-designed App that allows you to make, share and download Skins! It’s easy to navigate, you can choose to make 64x64 Simple Skins or 128x128 Detailed Skins, You can use any Colour in the entire Colour Spectrum when making your Skins, the App lets you gather a group of Skins and Export them in an actual Skin Pack to Minecraft, You can Select and Export Skins individually, the skins look almost the same (even better) in Minecraft itself, in the App you can post Skins to the Community on Skinseed and see how many people have downloaded your Skins, and the App is usable Offline (which is a GREAT thing for long travels where you have not much to do). It’s so good to make a Skin for a friend and see them wear it in Minecraft. Overall, I highly recommend Skinseed. It makes Minecraft a LOT more enjoyable, as you can play as anything from a Clone Trooper to Sonic The Hedgehog to even Master Chief or Gandalf. Similarly to Minecraft, the possibilities for Skin creating with Skinseed are almost endless.

Seriously?
I spent a WHOLE 4 HOURS on a design and I clicked save right? Ya know the tick that means ‘save and done’. But instead, the app for some reason crashed even though there is absolutely nothing wrong with my ipad, loads of storage but the app couldn't hold anything on it? So i refreshed my ipad, turned it on and off again to make sure it was okay and of course i went back on to see if the skin that i spent HALF OF MY DAY ON was still there. Then, the app kept freezing on me and the creation wasn’t saved? Are you serious? I wasted all my day for the app to freeze and crash? That is ridiculous. I clicked save! Shouldn’t the tick do it's job??

Problems
People can openly swear/Curse/Cuss on this game, i’ve had it for as long as i can remember and recently its become horrible.
I always feel as though it could be avoided if you just take it out of the app itself
Also, Just a warning to players : If someone calls you “Werman” or spams ur chat with “Make me a sandwich Werman” Block and report them IMMEDIATELY! Me and some friends met them once and it was so bad that i quit the game for about a month or two

I’ve had this for years
I started using skin seed when I was nine, and it’s great! I am fourteen now, and although I don’t used it as much I still appreciate the community on there as well as how easy it is to use!
One thing that I did not expect though when I first got it, is the fact you can dm and openly talk to strangers. I’m only saying this to warn parents as I know minecraft is generally played by children with impressionable minds. There are weirdos who try to post 18+ pictures as well as have dirty conversations, yet Skinseed is very good at blocking, reporting and removing these people from their app!
This proves they care for the people that use their app, but also shows that you should be cautious on who you child interacts with on here :)

Used to work, now broken
I used to love this app, I would use it for my MCPE. I deleted Minecraft shortly after, along with this app. A couple of months later, I downloaded it again. I realised I couldn’t get any good skins unless I had this app, so I downloaded it again. When I went onto the app to find a good skin, everything was broken. No skins, no nothing. It just came up with an error message, and I’m really confused? I’m not sure if it’s just my device, but please fix this!

It’s a great app to make skins, find friends and generally nice people and great creators but I think you should bring back Skinseed messager because you could make you profile picture anything you wanted I think you should suspend people who are doing inopropate stuff for a while then let them back on and if they continue to do it don’t let them in for a month or something?

I love using this app as I can create skin packs of skins I like, I love looking at ideas to build my own skin, or I take a skin I like and change it...so it does not look like I’ve just stolen someone’s skin...😬

Just wanted to add this in as I think this system is not working properly, because I love the feature were you can turn inappropriate skins off so there is no flashing of private parts, but I have this feature off and if I type in ‘Hoodie’ It comes up with one and on the back it says the F-word, same with names there are loads of inappropriate names, and racism. I think it’s really disrespectful for people that are black as there just humans but a darker colour, many people use this app and most of them are children, coming back to the F-words and other swear words, they might not know what that word means and make it there forever skin, little did they know it’s rude.

App functions terribly
This app is quite nice, as there aren’t many other options to make skins on iOS, but the thing that annoys me the most is the cut and paste tool.
There is NO cut tool, so I simply have to erase the part I want. I think the eraser should have more options to make it bigger, same with the pen. The paste tool in notorious. It says drag and then tap to paste but I can’t even DRAG the part I want. The tools are stupid, and I think there should be a colour wheel not the shading line there is. The colours don’t even match the icon properly, and you have to try a million times to get a colour the slightest bit lighter. If this carry’s on, I’m just gonna use ibisPaint because their system is MUCH better.
To improve this app, I suggest you make as many features as possible like the pc minecraft skin softwares. They start out with a blank, transparent canvas, not a template you have to rub out. Please fix these issues or else I will delete the app. Thank you

Great app!
First of all, I love how there are many customization options and features. I like how noise and the option to select a certain area are implemented. I am however planning to quit Skinseed as the community has gotten worse throughout the years of me using the app.
Secondly, I have a few suggestions:
• Add a fill tool, so that people can fill large areas without having to individually color every pixel (especially useful for starting 128x skins).
• Add a tool for copy and pasting different body parts. For example, instead of having to spend lost of time coloring in an arm, then having to color the other arm the same way, add an option that allows you to duplicate a body part.
This should include all sides (left, right, front, back, top, bottom).
To conclude this review, these features would be a great addition and improvement to the already wonderful app. I would like to see the community mature however and for more unique customization options but the app is good anyway.
I personally have never written a review but know that this app deserves one! It’s many tools help me easily make and post PvP skins for others.
TDLR; Community needs to be fixed, game needs 3D copy paste and fill tool.

Okay but...
I like it...it’s pretty good if I do say so myself..I can go HD and also I can easily make my own and do other stuff too. Sadly, it is covered in hate and one of my skins was redacted because of a horrible hate comment and instead of people reporting the comment or the person who wrote it, they reported the skin that I had made. it had over 80 likes and I had to unshare it. After that, I can barely get likes.
Skinseed messanger can be downloaded by Apk or ask for a skinseed user to do one for u.

Really good game!
Hi this is a really good game I do recommend but just know it’s a 12 for a reason people can swear and you can’t enable speaking but other than that it’s child friendly my daughter kel loves this game and has downloaded Minecraft because of it it just has started not letting her on the game and she is getting very upset and if you could change that and give it an update that would be nice hhahahahahaha sorry that was my daughter

I’m only young and am completely addicted to Minecraft...but they updated it and now I have no inspiration for skins.I have tried many other apps like this but they never told you how to transfer it, on this one once you click on something underneath it shows you visually how to transfer it it’s such a cool app I recommend it to anyone!

Since the update just now, I’ve been loving this game but now, it won’t let me access it anymore I thought that it was because I didn’t have the update but when I did it still didn’t work, I tried all the methods I could find, and saw that Skinseed was the only app I couldn’t open could you tell me what’s going on?

Gallery of stolen skins
Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not a ‘terrible’ app. However, the large majority of these skins were stolen by 8 year olds who don’t know that you have to at least credit the artist. 2 of my skins, uploaded to both Skindex and PMC, were stolen and uploaded to the app by someone I don’t know and without my permission. It has been 3 months since I reported both them and the account itself, and no responce from the Skinseed team. Please check and make sure the skins aren’t stolen before use, and if they are please say the real creators name in the comments and report the skin. Thank you.

A bit of a situation again .
Hi so I love using this app it’s good and it’s amazing but there is a problem every time if I press camera roll to get one of my skins to get on this app It won’t work so I was wondering if you could fix that if not that’s okay I’m just really hoping you can fix that and it’s always been like that for me since I got it so yeah I was wondering if you can fix that and I’m hoping that it’s just not me who’s getting that as well I’m sure someone out there having a struggle as well so I hope you read this and do it for me and the people out there or someone out there to fix this because it’s really really bugging me.

Either Skinseed starts making stricter rules of this app needs to be deleted
This app is like a tumblr but for eight year olds who read the things that are written on the skins of the app and think that writing those things are okay. I think this app would be amazing if they would start censoring words and deleting accounts that are doing these ‘role plays’ I would even volunteer myself to be someone who deletes these accounts as would love to see this app be the app it was intended to be. I feel bad for the people who would write these things years ago as I’m sure they cringe every time they think about it. Currently there is no way of deleting your own account which I think would be a good addition to Skinseed. Please consider these changes as they would benefit you and the future generation who want to get skins for Minecraft from the community.

Extremely good app but there’s an important issue
Skinseed is a genuinely good minecraft skin app! I’ve been using it for a year (I think) and I have recommended it to friends. However, there is a growing issue which needs to be resolved. The issue with ‘porners’. I’ve noticed it’s become a growing issue over the years, and just recently has the community become aware of how dangerous and inappropriate it is. I suggest that you could put a chat/comment filter on what it said so these types of role-plays aren’t occurring. We don’t want Skinseed to be shut down as it’s an app we all ❤️.

the search bar it always says “ name “k” is not defined” or something love that and I trie to reload the app loads of times and even restarted my phone and it still appears with the same thing how do I fix it ???????? 😭😭😭😭😰😰

Awesome app just one question
( read to end for question please answer) I love this app it is so good and I love making my own custom skins and then using them I used to have this app a while back and you had the option to just remove certain body parts and not others like say you wanted to just do torso and legs you could i think the new way is great but I would like to have the option to do the other one because it’s handy but otherwise it’s amazing I just have one question I’ve seen on loads of other skins tinier pixels I don’t know how to do that please could someone tell me? thanks.

someone commented on my skin however every time I try to open it to see the message it keeps crashing! Please fix it.
Also when I do the outer layer of the skin, I once needed to do it in white however it is difficult to see as the background is also light so I couldn’t see what I was doing. You could add different colour background options.
Besides that skin seed is my favourite app for making skins. probably the best in my opinion.

I wish you could outline a spot then with the same color fill it in and if you don’t need a certain spot to collor just color each section so take the first four little bits so no full front with legs arms body and head same with back left and right and the like for hair on the top you can just fill it all in I think that’s a good idea

Love it
I love this app. Especially the new update! The community can be really kind and you can make new friends! The new 128x128 update is amazing and so useful to add extra detail to skins.
What I think everyone would love to see is the ability to change your profile picture to a picture like in skinseed messenger. It’s a real shame that skinseed messenger got deleted and I think many people want it back!! Other than that small issue, the app is great! ♥︎♥︎

Room For Some Improvements!
This app is great fun! Although there are a few things that could be added for a future update...
• The option to add a photo from your camera roll as your profile picture (you can only do that on Skinseed messenger and that doesn’t exist anymore) because currently it’s a bit limiting, and it doesn’t make sense to have been able to do it on one app but not the other?
• A way for Skinseed to tell who a person is even if they have multiple accounts, this is because I blocked a person but they just created a new account and continued messaging me and then when I blocked that account, they created a whole other one and it’s worrying that anyone I’m talking to could be them
• Do something about the people who are sharing EXTREMELY inappropriate things, or at least make the age higher instead of 4+
That’s it! Other than these small things, this app is FABULOUS and so much fun to play around with! 👍😄

Good, but..
This app have hundreds of different skins, and I love that 🙈 but there is one thing I come across 🙊, I play with my brother who is on the computer and I’m on the iPad. I get a skin and put it on and at the back there is this big stripe of skin and not the clothing. 🙈. But when I ask my brother he says it’s normal, I’ve tried redownloading Minecraft and this, but problem still occurs. As well as I have tried numerous of skins. 😔
But other then this issue it’s amazing,

I highly recommend this Minecraft skin creator app because it does exactly what the name says! The controls are easy once you get used to them and it’s great fun making skins. I myself haven’t tried out the social online feature thingy, but I’m sure it’s fab too. It was only recently that it got really laggy but that’s probably just my iPad being a bit bad. 😅 Anyway, once again, brilliant skin creator app! 👌

A lot of people ,like me, have a couple different accounts, it's extremely annoying to sign out of one, then into one, do whatever on that account, and then sign back in. Maybe the could be a feature where you can link account, {Like put a button on the home screen of your account, and then you can see your accounts at have been linked}
Request 2-Wardrobe
Maybe you could add like a file, when you click it, certain skins can go in it, I always make pixel art, bases, full skins, everything! But it's really annoying to keep them all organised!
Request 3- Mass delete/unfollow etc
You should be able to select loads of skins that you want to delete and delete them all at once. As long time users like myself really want to delete loads of their old skins

I love the idea of being able to play with your custom skin on minecraft. But my one wish that I would literally be so thankful and happy about is if the new better together minecraft in the Xbox one could have this option to obtain a skin from here. It’s okay
When I first had this app a long time a go maybe 1 year or so I really enjoyed it , no ads , skinseed messenger so I cool put cool profile icons and things like this , I have recently came back to this app to a lot of ads and no skinseed messenger. I have been wondering where skinseed messenger had gone and would appreciate it if someone explained it. And I think the app creator should take away less ads , I have one litterally every time I comment on a post or share a post and it really annoys me , Just my point of view though

Good concept but way to easy to steal other’s work
I like the idea of the community and it’s provided me with many opportunities to communicate with people in other countries and share skins. The skin making tools may take time to get used to, but are good and reasonably simple.
However my main grievance with this app is how easy it is to repost someone’s skin. Sure, it has a little credit to you button which appears but this isn’t enough for main reasons:
- If you save the skin and change one pixel or so, you can delete credit and pass it off as your own
- If someone else reposts the skin you reposted, it gives you the credit
And most people on this app just repost things and don’t make anything original.
Also, if you’re on PMC, WATCH OUT. It’s so easy to get something off that site, post it onto the community, and say you made it!
If you’re a good skinner, I would say get this app. Not because it’s especially good, but so you can keep track of who’s stolen your skin...

Amazing but...
Trust me, I've been using this app for 2 years and it's amazing! I also used the skinseed messenger app, for exchanging passwords so someone could make me a profile pic. Where is it? Apparently it's being updated and you can beta test it on Samsung only. I haven't really heard anything after that...
Anyway this app works very fast, and is so easy to use! You really have done a good job so keep up the work 👌🏻

I love it!
I really like it but I just can’t download it because my school has a stupid Apple ID password so I can’t get free games but if I had it I would still have my account thediamondkyle I made skin everyday I went to school and some people always asked why it had credit because someone else made it all my skins I made were just edits of the original but I wish I still had it.

Brilliant for editing
I loved my MINECRAFT skin and when got round to special occasions like Christmas or Halloween you can create your own skin for the occasion although there are adds they don’t get in the way to much and with what you can do on this app the adds aren’t really a bother at all and also this helped me out with my editing for my big project that I’m working on thx Skinseed 😘💜❤️
