Constant crashing

I want to use the app more but it’s constantly hanging or crashing. And today it no longer shows pictures… so slow and buggy. A shame as many things from good people for sale. Has frequent updates that never solve the problems and is the slowest app I have ever used. But yeah, keep celebrating 10 years etc../. please fix the bugs

La app no tiene la culpa, pero el uso que dan los usuarios de ella es agotador. De cada 1.000 mensajes, 1.000 son para perder el tiempo teniendo que leer a gente maleducada haciendo ofertas ridículas. Si tienes todo el tiempo del mundo y una paciencia infinita y, por supuesto, quieres vender tus productos a un precio ridículo, esta es tu app.

Better than eBay

I have been using Wallapop for a couple months now and I LOVE it. I am selling my old items and it is so easy. You just upload an image, title and price and wait to sell it. You get a lot of views and it is very easy to sell most items. All the people I have met on the app are very nice and I have sold a couple items now. There are NO fees whatsoever for a seller which is why I think it is better than eBay. The postage is calculated by Wallapop and all it requires you to do is pop down to the local post office and post it or organise a meeting with the buyer. This usually take only 2 mins and doesn’t cost anything. Buying is also very nice and shows a wide range of items. Everyone is a normal person so you can get some amazing deals. I advise anyone reading this to download it. There are no negatives

Muy lejos de ser App de confianza

Creo que esta App está a años luz de otras aplicaciones de subastas que no voy a nombrar que ni cobran al comprador “seguros” extras, que hay un centro de resoluciones que SI se preocupa y SI soluciona problemas tanto para el vendedor como para el comprador y que hay unas normas tanto para el comprador como por supuesto para el vendedor que deben cumplir les haya salido bien o no la venta o la compra.

Dos casos diferentes en la misma semana… le importa a Wallapop? obviamente no.

Hice una compra y al poco me llegó el aviso que había sido entregado pero no llego nada, me puse hablar con el vendedor y abrí una consulta con Wallapop porque el vendedor me enseñó el resguardo como que había sido enviado dentro de la fecha después del pago, así que algo había pasado en el proceso de envío, nadie responde a la consulta y por arte de magia desaparece del historial de consultas, probé hacer otra y volvió a pasar lo mismo, así hasta cuatro veces y ya di el dinero y la compra por perdidos, pues bien dos semanas más tarde llegó el producto y nadie por parte de Wallapop fue capaz de decirme nada al respecto mientras duró el problema.

Y ahora el segundo caso, tenía reservado un artículo con una persona, de otra provincia diferente a la mía que no hacía envíos, y tuve que mover cielo y tierra para que unos conocidos de su misma provincia se tomaran las molestias por mí y fueran casi al patio de su casa a recoger el artículo y pagarle en metálico para evitar “recargos” por la aplicación y porque no se fiaba de las “transferencias”, todo muy raro, pues bueno el usuario dejo de responder los mensajes, dejó que el anuncio caducara para luego volverlo a poner por el doble de precio y claramente sigue sin responder mis mensajes, como puede permitir eso Wallapop?

Que si es una App en la que uno pueda confiar? Pues por el momento no lo es al 100%, espero tengan este tipo de problemas más en cuenta y puedan mejorar el servicio que proporcionan en un futuro próximo.

My account was deleted

Wallapop deactivated my profile for no reason. I'm very disappointed. Their customer service is poor and they don't care about my problem. I was selling second hand items on their platform. I followed all of their rules. I can’t recover my money because my Wallapop account is deleted!!!

Useless in UK

I can’t set my account location to the UK. The shipping and billing address options are only Spain/Portugal/Italy. When I tried to verify my account, I was redirected to the Spanish website (no big deal but odd) and then received an email about an attempted login from Spain.

My review…

I signed up via UK option. However, when I go to enter my address, there is only option for Spain, Italy and Portugal. When I went to enter my bank details, it wouldn’t let me because I have UK bank details. I can’t say whether the app is good for selling or buying as I couldn’t enter my details. If you are from UK, don’t waste your time signing up to sell as this app is not for UK sellers.

Super Buggy!

I use it a lot as people in Spain don’t seem to like eBay. I have had good buys and good selling on it however the it is buggy as hell. It uploads the wrong photo and doesn’t let me change it for the correct one it doesn’t upload photo at all and makes you go through all effort of uploading and then they are gone. Adverts of other sellers freeze constantly and won’t open or it crashes as soon as you try to see the photos. Come on! this app is pretty old now and the bugs should have been ironed out ages ago. Customer service is awful as well. You cannot speak to anyone when it all goes wrong with a sale.

Deactivate account for no reasons

Really bad app, I sold a pair of shoes for 100 Euros and kept the money in my wallet as I didn’t have time to connect it to my bank account, plus I thought to use the money within the app.

I just received now an email from Wallapop saying that my account was disabled as I breach the rules by selling replicas (that I’m not).

By doing this Wallapop is keeping my money and they are not even giving you the option to dispute their stupid and ignorant decision.

Enjoy my 100 euros :(

Excellent service but lacks auction

Really pleased with latest purchase and how the insurance/ security works though luckily mine was in good condition so haven’t tested it.

Also not full of shops on here like eBay.

If you had the possibility to auction stuff rather than set a price that would be great.

A complete waste of time

Honestly if you want to use this app to sell. Don’t. You’d be better off using Vinted or Shpock. Not only is the app buggy as hell you can seem to achieve simple stuff, like edit a post, or add delivery options. It errors every time you try to do this. Not only that, there is no setting to add delivery option during your listing. Total waste of time even installing this. I feel like the 5-10 minutes taken to register, sort the captcha and verify my email, are 5-10 minutes I could have spent on something more useful. Like listing on Shpock or Vinted. I have since deleted this abomination.

Frustrating and useless

Stupid app wouldn’t let me create an account. It just kept asking me for my email and password. Couldn’t get it sorted. Depop works fine. Created an account finally and it deletes my listings once it close the app. When I log back in it’s all removed and shows I have nothing listed

Estaria bien poder ocultar productos, asi no tienes que verlos cada vez que haces la misma busqueda. Otra cosa es que te dice que tienes nuevos productos en tu busquedas guardadas pero no es cuerto.

Doesn’t work properly

Once you save an item to sell, if you made a mistake and you want to change it and update it, the app doesn’t allow you saying action not allowed and also if you want to delete the listing exactly the same it doesn’t allow you to do it saying sorry something went wrong. For me the app has a very low quality.

I paid 20 GBP to promote myadd, and it’s not possible to use it, it’s not only that I have paid for nothing, it’s also it’s very annoying every time I do anything on this app is asking me if I want to apply my paid promotion or save it for later, but I only have the option to save it for later. I cant list clothing

I can’t sell clothes because when I list them I try to put the “type” of clothing and it doesn’t let me, it comes up with a search bar and doesn’t let you filter anything

Absolutely horrible and dodgy

I downloaded this app to help sell some items, but it started to act weird. It wouldn’t let me upload the pictures properly, or change the location or edit my profile. I got a bad feeling, so I wanted to delete my listing of the product. It did not let me delete my listing no matter how many times I tried. So I wanted to delete my account but it wouldn’t let me through the app. So I went to the website to delete my account but it does not let me log in. Their help section does not provide enough information and there is no contact details.

Problems buying from abroad

A wonderful app with great products but let down as cannot seem to purchase items outside of Spain. The main problem is the developers have not allowed foreign post codes to be added under addresses which is very frustrating and means transactions can’t seem to occur with Spanish sellers by those from abroad.

Best second hand app!

Being able to sell stuff you no longer need and/or swapping for other items you would like to have at a very affordable cost is great! Also, knowing that someone else will these items to good use and they won’t end up in a landfill its a relieve to me, as I deeply care for the protection of the environment. I love wallapop and I think it would be amazing if more and more people started using it more often, instead of buying new items.

Refund rejected for item misleading and packaged terribly

I bought a bicycle from a seller who posted a picture of a bicycle I thought I was be getting, when revived the bicycle did not match the listing and to make it worse the box was opened and not taped up properly, meaning parts of the bicycle could have fallen out. When I raised a dispute with Wallapop to request a refund they instantly rejected my claim despite the nonsense that the buyers money is secured for 48 hours if there was an issue or the item was not the same as the advertisement. Wallapop did not give me a reason as to why they refused my claim. I tried to escalate this but there is no chance of contacting their customer services because the number just rings through or goes to user busy. After a few emails I have not received any acknowledgment. Avoid this app and using Wallapop at all costs as they are con artists and do not honour the buyers rights if they are misplaced an item. Awful service. I’m happy to go back to using eBay who have a decent policy and customer service team.

Place is full of spammers

Its a spammers haven. Listed an item yesterday and received many spam offers in foreign language and some of them translated in English, but all with same story. Stay away from the app especially when you are new buyer/ seller. All is full of unverified profile waiting for new buyers/ sellers.

Good enough

It’s a good enough site to find bargains locally if you’re in Spain, but most people are still reluctant to send items through the new service. Wallapop might need to promote this a bit more aggressively. A big downside is that only Spain bank cards are accepted though. It would be great if they could either accept international cards or even better link up with PayPal. Being used to EBay in the UK, this is considerably more of a hassle.

I downloaded the app as I was going to sell some unworn shoes I have. Thought I’d scroll through first to have a look and was shocked to see that you can actually buy marijuana on here!!! Not impressed and I’ve deleted as many youngsters use this site and do not know what this can do to you!!!

Freezes constantly

Best to use desktop version app has lots of faults freezes, cannot copy text, different ads to desktop. Just needs a few improvements.
