Like the other Toca games, this one is thoughtfully and delightfully made. Simple yet expressive tools, and scope for discovery. Great for younger kids. As with other Toca games, though, there is no save button, so when the app is closed or if you want to try something else, your creation is lost, which is a shame.

It needs a tutorial and how do you do the hair. Please add a save button because I’ve been so sad that I can’t save it. Also please add more eyes and mouth it’s just the supply they are really ugly. Don’t recommend and NOT worth the money.

I really like this game, 🙂🙂 it’s a lot of fun making all the different characters but there’s just one thing that bothers me. When you’ve done a character, you take a pic and then send it off and after that, you can no longer view the character! 🙏🏻 Please please please add a viewing section so you can see what you’ve made previously. Otherwise I totally recommend this game, it’s a lot of fun 🤩 and I really enjoy it 😉.

This is an amazing app it's really fun and makes me happy except you can't colour in so u have to use shapes and so it won't let you do a certain bit a curtain colour, you also can't do hair you have to use shapes

I got this game for free it was £2.99 ( or something ) on the toca boca page. Glitch in toca boca page or my iPad. Anyway it is a good game so don't judge the cuteness!

This is an amazing app that I don't got bored of. I have two problems though
1) it crashes every time I try to take a picture of it and I never see my creation that I spent ages on
2) I find the hair quite difficult and it would be easier to just but on the hair like a sticker not little sections at a time
Other than this it's one of my favourite games out of the App Store

Great idea and potentially lots of fun to be had. But my daughter gets very disappointed if I need to use my phone as her creation gets lost forever. Would be good if you could revisit them and edit etc. Keep up the good work though Toca people-we love your apps! <3

I love the game but it needs somewhere to view the other minis instead of losing them and it needs an option for viewing the top of their head and their hand and the bottom of the foot

This is our seventh Toca app and it as good as the rest. There is loads of choice to make endless characters. It would be nice if you were able to save your creations and edit them at a later date. Worth the money.

Aesthetics are great, but a few fixes needed:
1) Too easy to 'lose' your doll if you click the wrong button. Should save a current doll if this happens.
2) Bit tricky to do hair. Need bigger hair pieces.
3) Need an option to choose whether line fill goes over or under shape fill.
4) Need an undo button!
Colour doesn't work :(

I'd give it five stars if the colour option worked and if you could choose a hairstyle instead of having to place 'stickers' to make hair as it is hard. Please fix this bug and also please allow us to rotate more freely as it is hard

Surprised to see mixed reviews. We buy all the toca bocas for the kids, this is maybe the most deep and interactive. I keep wanting to grab it off them to try to recreate the ones on the screenshots.

This app is great, the concept, style and 3d element etc... But.... It seems such a shame to only be able to save a snapshot of your mini before you can start a new one? I think it would be great to be able to save your mini so your child could start again but go back to an old one if they wanted. I think my children will soon become bored once they realise all their hard work making a cool mini is lost once they start a new one :(

What more can you say? As my iPad slowly fills up with Toca apps I have yet to be disappointed. Toca Mini gives you everything you could possibly need to make cartoony versions of yourself, monsters, animals and people in really silly costumes! I'm 42 and have so far recreated my family, and a whole host of ridiculously dressed characters that only seem to be limited by my own imagination.
