Difficult
I loved the sample. BUT when I try to sign up it won’t ‘continue ‘ past my input of my email address. The other reviews looked good but I’m disappointed I can’t sign up to get more out of the app. I have two email addresses and I tried both and neither would “continue”.

Didn’t use it for a while at first as it seemed to bash eastern meditation once calling it the enemy but have since started using it more fully and finding it really useful, it’s better for me then headspace as it has background white noise during the meditations plus your focusing on scripture while you meditate rather then breath. The night time sleep meditations are a tad repetitive during the duration of the track but still works fairly well after all you don’t want anything too stimulating at sleepy time

Godsend
This is the ultimate Godsend for centring my mind and starting my days right. The only reason it’s 4 stars is the paywall. I understand their need for capital to further the gospel and make a living, however sometimes I wish I could get a longer time in God’s presence. It’s just too good and that’s the problem.

Helps me focus my day
This app blends a lot of mindfulness with focus on God, His truth and His love. I really enjoy how the short, simple word can frame my day and help me focus more on Him. The app has worked well for me over a number of years although I predominantly use the daily devotions. The added feature of a journal is a really nice touch.

About 4 night ago I couldn’t sleep. It was nearly 3am and I was panicking as I had to get up at 7 am. My room was far too warm. I tried drinking water and opening my door. Nothing work. I had seen apps like this on Facebook ads. I thought I might as well try it and see.
I put it on for half an hour and I was nearly asleep. I just turned the app off and went straight to sleep.
Last night I was feeling very anxious. I tried calming myself done. Nothing worked. I then remembered that there was something on the app about clutter. The reason for my anxiety was about clutter. I put it on for 30 mins. And again I was nearly falling asleep. And once I turned the app off I was fast asleep.
This app has really helped me to quiet my thoughts and insecurities. Which I believe has stopped my sleeping properly.
From from tonight I am adding this app to my sleeping routine.
Whoever is reading this and is identifying to what I found about sleep PLEASE use this app. It was help you so much! 😊

When I have found things overwhelming or been tired from the day or had difficulty sleeping. Abide has helped me so much to rest in Gods peace I have felt Gods presence and been reminded of His gentle love and faithfulness. He is in control.

I would like to say how much I value the Abide app which I’ve been using for almost a year now. I have chronic insomnia. I have worked as a health worker for many years doing “awkward” hours. Please may I present a different view of your narrators from that given by Peterlovesgarage. In the small hours, when you can’t sleep the soothing voices of the narrators don’t seem overacted. I like the English guy’s delivery of “Within His Reach” and his earlier CS Lewis meditation. They are probably for me the most effective at bedtime. Since you have such a large selection of varying meditations perhaps the best advice if you don’t find a particular narrator to your taste is to move on until you find one that is. You’re sure to find one. From a happily vegetarian, gun-hating western female who greatly appreciates your app.

Charged for a trial
I downloaded the non-premium version and clicked on a button that said start free trial. Why was I then charged 36.99 for what was supposed to be a 7 day free trial first? There was nowhere stating I would be charged and the button I clicked clearly said 'Start Free Trial' yet I got charged.
This is very disappointing and the only reason I'm giving it 1 star because I have no used it.

I love this app!
If the calming background music wasn’t soothing enough, the Words from Scripture in meditations and the prayer are.
I recommend this to anyone looking for relaxation who does not want to do yoga or any transcendental meditation (demonic stuff).
This stuff contains the pure and simple Word of God and it is enough to shift your perspective and bring solace to your soul.

Downloaded the 1 week free version, it has really helped me, it’s very easy to use, I had to stop all my anxiety and sleeping pills, it helps me sleep within 15 min in bed. It relaxes and calms me nerve, the voice, the pace, the scriptures literally perfect. I’m happily going to pay for a year

Charged me for the whole subscription
I only wanted to trial it but it ended up charging me for the whole subscription and now I can’t get a refund and am stuck with something I wasn’t sure I wanted in the first place. Unfortunately this mistake has cost me quite a bit. If someone could get me a refund I’d be very grateful!

Life changing best investment for your mental health
The best investment I ever done was to purchase this app. Suffering from anxiety for years and not sleeping this definitely got me to be at peace fight against fear and anxiety and to be reminded that Jesus did not give us the spirit of fear. There are great stories and versus that are referred to for you to meditate. You can also choose from the options your calming melody for background music I’m now at a place after 12 months to no longer needing the app and I can sleep in peace with no worries! I now ecommend this to friends who are at need. Thank you it’s changed my life x
