Used to be brilliant but developers seem to have been messing around with it. Not for the first time I’ve been playing the baking challenge only for it to totally freeze. Had to yet again close app completely so that I could start again, lost all progress, trouble is unless you pay, (which you don’t have to on cookie walk,) you have to wait 2 hours before you can play again, rapidly coming to the point where I stop playing this game altogether, not worth the hassle anymore.
Have messed about with cookie walk now, have had the same level one puzzle 7 times in a row,if you do manage to get through you get another puzzle 3-4 times in a row. I said above rapidly coming to the point where it’s not worth playing, I think I’ve reached that point now, unlikely I will play again.

Been playing for years. Horrible new update. Small screen on landscape is annoying. Not being able to play older games anymore to get 3 stars is sad, not even getting stars now, also sad. Can’t explore current or older islands anymore. Can’t choose which pet you want to help your gameplay now. The spinning wheel isn’t on main screen so sometimes you forget to spin it. And saddest of all, the cookies don’t get thrown into the air when you get onto a new Island 😫

Imo recent update to the game have made it less enjoyable for me, I’ve played this game for a long time but am now put off by the changes to it, dislike how it now looks and having to go to a different area for spins and daily rewards is off putting.
UPDATE- Now deleting this app as issues playing on iPad as wont turn the screen as previous to better layout orientation on larger screen. Fed up of spinning the wheel and getting cake and losing my daily streak as now you have to click on it in a new area instead of it being on the home page. May 4: Judging by your ‘response’ and the fact it is dated three years ago; clearly shows that you don’t bother to read customers’ reviews or probably care much for what people have to say. What is quite clear from reading recent reviews; that I am not alone in saying that the recent ‘updates’ to this game; have not been widely appreciated. Perhaps you should listen to the people that actually liked this game and revert to the older format; which was far easier on the eyes. April 30: I’ve played this game for years and have always found it to be quite enjoyable and took my mind off things. Today I found that they have ‘cleaned up’ the app (I think is how they described it) and I will not play this game again. For some reason, they have shrunk the actual play area in order to have wide; quite pointless margins at the sides and it’s harder to actually see what you’re doing. It’s a shame as I quite liked playing it; it was addictive and I had got quite far. I found the older format more straightforward and easy to navigate. Oh well; on to something new for me.

This is a fun game, it’s also quite addictive.
The rewards system is good and you can eventually progress despite trying hard not to buy boosters.
What’s REALLY annoying is when the skill is simply taken out of levels. The system decides when you win; the tiles fall “randomly” in the wrong place until then.

Since the update there has been several adverts that are missing the button to click for the bonus extra. These ads fill the screen and the only way to get out of the screen is to close the app down and start again. I’m on level 5055 and could do with the extras to help me get through. Frustrating.

I have been playing this on and off for some time. The game is good and offers more boosters than most - but if you want help, it seems to me if they don’t like the message you send, they close the ticket and ghost you.
It’s a real pity that they think it is acceptable to treat players in this way. I have contacted from the game and the website and still no resolution.
The developer answered my poor review of Cookie Jam Blast - and I sent this to the Support Team - however I am still being ignored by the Support Team - so like I say no support or back up from Jam City at all - forewarned is forearmed.

I have been playing cookie jam fairly regularly ( but not addictively) for a couple of years now and have not got bored with it. The fab artwork is fun; lovely and colourful. I wish I could have some of the cakes and pastries to eat for real! Some of the levels are challenging but can be beaten with patience, careful gameplay and of course strategic use of the boosters. The pet helpers are cute but unfortunately, sometimes, they just do not help! I have never paid anything for playing this game and would like to say thank you for letting me play.

I have completed the game, am now on level 100 on VIP. The game used to be great, I bought some coins as I needed to knock one block off to complete the level having spent an hour getting no where near it. I really enjoy this game and have been playing this game for a long time. Would have given 5 stars but the last update has completely frozen me out and I am extremely angry and frustrated.

Since the last two updates cookie jam is impossible to play, I lost my daily incremental bonus and used 10 coins to reinstate it. The game threw me out, took my coins and sent me back to day one again. If I persevere and actually get into the game it is so slow and I cannot slide on the screen, I can only swap items by tapping each once several times. If there is any extra graphics the game then throws me out again.....
Update 22 july- Just had notification of a reply to the above but the link took me back to the App Store and couldn't find any response. I can get onto the game but still can't move any pieces on the board. Your help would be much appreciated please.

Since the game was updated over a week ago I haven’t been able to play. I can’t get past the terms agreement, after I have agreed it plays music then just drops back onto the screen. I have been playing this game for a couple of years now but it looks like I’m going to have to delete it if this problem isn’t solved. Can you help?

Cookie Jam installation problem

I have recently downloaded the latest update for cookie jam and since doing this my game no longer loads properly. It starts to load and then it just switches back to my home screen. I have tried all the obvious things even uninstalled it and reinstalled and no change. I am on level 4887 so I do not want to lose my progress. Would be grateful if you can resolve this situation.

This the second time I’ve been up to level 500+ only to lose everything. This time I kept getting a message to agree to terms and conditions for another one of your cookie games and you can’t delete the message , but most of the time it’s chucks me out and sends me back to my home screen . Used to love this game, but feeling very frustrated with it and a little more than let down .

I converted from candy crush to this game a couple of years ago. It was soo much faster, player friendly and due to the higher level of freebies you didn’t feel so ripped off. BUT something happened around 3/4 months ago, I no longer have teamwork challenge, sweet race or level jam presents showing on my home screen or events button. I would just get a notification at the end of the challenges to say I was last.... I have contacted support 3 times and followed all the advice given and am still in the same situation. I had recently found that turning off my WiFi meant I could then take part in teamwork challenge etc but the latest the support team told me to do (reinstall the app) has now stopped that working as well! I am so close to giving up - such a shame as it used to be great!!

I have been playing this games for years. I have got to level 3414. You need to get so many blues for this, there are only approx 10 blues that drop and no other way to get the blues. The game that I have is not the one it shows it should be online. It’s appears to be a glitch in the system and I can’t get past the level. Can someone contact me and help.

I love playing this game but was very disappointed when it froze on my iPad the only way I could free it was to delete the game then reinstall it which worked but lost my 60 lives I had saved up .Today had a message saying my lives had been restored,but when I opened the game they weren’t there also my friend has sent me a couple in the last week which I haven’t received so I’m not sure what’s going on .
Once again I had got 6 lives saved and the game froze I had to delete and reloaded it only to find yet again I lost the lives saved

I was up to level 4734 when I was stuck on an extreme level for a few weeks, so I gave in and bought a package to finish the level. 2 games later the game ran out so had to wait a few days for new levels - this only happened on my iPhone and the app on my iPad just didn’t move forward to the new levels but I was able to replay the last one over and over. After a few weeks I deleted the app from my iPad and reinstalled it only to find all bar 50 coins were left and all of my aids that I’d purchased along with my daily bonuses were all gone - feeling ripped off 🤬

This is probably the best of this type of game. It’s an excellent time killer, especially when you find yourself on a roll. I especially like the reasonably frequent little boosters, whereby the game provides two hours of free lives.
When the competitions are running, it would be nice if some of the prizes were a bit more useful, like they used to be. A free spoon is much better than a free hour of a rainbow cake or an ice cream sandwich. How about giving us a choice and allowing us to pick the booster we want?
It has some annoying habits though, particularly on start up. When you want to simply play your Daily Spin to try and win a meaningful booster, the game insists on showing every one of the events currently going on, such as Cookie Walk. Annoying much. It’s also very irritating that it interrupts a Daily Spin if your fingers are faster than the introduction and manage to start a spin before the game has finished showing all the events. The Daily Spin used to be free once every 18 hours and now it’s every 22 hours. 99 coins have been downgraded to 50, not that the game lets you win them often enough to care.
All in all, despite the irritations, it’s a great game. I’ve dropped a star because of the downgrades in times between spins and the available coins on the Daily Spin.

I love this game, I get stuck on a level and get annoyed so come off it for a few weeks but I always end up playing it again and get addicted! My only issue with this game is I have it on both my iPhone and iPad and although I’m at the same level on the game my items/coins/ time of unlimited lives never cross over. So currently I have 21 unlimited hours on my iPad but just the 5 regular lives on my phone, and I have 100 coins on my phone but only 50 coins on my iPad. I wish it was the same on both! Both devices are linked to my Facebook.

I love this game and will freely admit to finding it addictive. However there are a couple of minor annoyances that spoil the fun. Firstly, when you finish a level with extra moves and boosters in hand, why aren't those passed on as additional credits for the player to use on the next level? Also, no free "5+ moves" credits as there are in an earlier version of the game which strangely sized up and had to be deleted and which I was subsequently unable to download...

This is actually one of my favourite apps. Play it all the time it’s great for passing the time I love the design of it all, the voice everything. However. Recently I have been having problems with the actual app. It keeps freezing and I have to come out of the app (sometimes mid way through a board) and close the app and reopen, sometimes 3 times to get it to work. None of the other apps on my phone do this, the app is fully up to date and linked to my Facebook all my progress is saved. Is there something wrong with the app?

I love this game but do find it quite frustrating. I play on a couple of devices through Facebook. On quite a few occasions when I have completed a game the screen freezes and the fact that the game is completed is ignored, hence the game has to be played again. The only way that my devices were in sync was by deleting the app.
I am happy to say the Developers were extremely helpful and have more or less sorted out my problems.

If I delete the game and download it again after few weeks or months why can’t I start the game from beginning?
I deleted this twice as I was stuck on levels and was keep sending back so I got so frustrated I end up deleting it. Now I downloaded it again hoping that it will be new beginning but oh no as soon I open the game it took me to straight to where I I have left it off.
So I guess the question I am asking is... how to have it start as new game. I know I can go back and start from level one but it’s not the same. Pl help thank you

I love this game and at one time would have given it 5 stars, now due to it crashing constantly it is becoming very frustrating. So far today it has crashed twice, no message or warning.
Bonuses lost and lives lost and when you contact the support team they ask how many bonuses, lives, level you were on and to send a screen shot. Sorry but if anyone is like me then to get in working again I uninstall then download it again.

That little gingerbread man is super super cute especially when he “dresses” up in his outfits and costumes and that bee cloth on his hat...... I LUV him 😍. And only get asked now and then to review, which is why I’m reviewing this. Those games that ask you every level, or won’t let you progress till u hv reviewed... totally deleted! Often get given free hours of play or “tools” to help, a great insentive to play and play and play... the daily wheel spin is great also..in fact I so far cannot think of a single negative to this game so far ( lvl 845, I think)... can’t wait to see my little mans next cute outfit!👍🏻😍👍🏻

Game crashes and now stole all my items

Used to be fun to play but now it's awful. Game keeps crashing all the time, now after doing over 2700 levels it decides to steal all my items I had saved up and reset them all. There are too many side features which ruin the game and slow it down. Now the game is pretty much unplayable.
Update - after several emails, I have my items back but can no longer play on my iPad due to game crashing so I can only use my iPhone for play

Ive been playing this for years, but the last week or so, i get offered the video for 5 extra gos and it freezes n wont let me tap on it, and also when ive completed a level and it sonetimes kets u skip a level i get onto the game then i cant move anything as it also freezes , so i come off app to refresh it and it takes me to a whole different level.... whats going on with it?? Its not due an update as i thought it was that

Oh, where do I start? This game used to be problem free, it is now very hard to play. I have emailed support a gazillion times but they never help, just ask you to send a screenshot of your gears!! Then say, please do the update...I did! So now the game takes ages to even open, I DONT want to play through Facebook, so please stop asking me EVERY time I re-open, nor do I want to play cookie walk - it is impossible so i just don’t bother. More glitches, the game takes you to 2 games ahead of your current level or takes you back to a game you’ve already completed! Lastly, I have NO free spins EVER any more (yes, I’m on the latest version and I’ve sent you screenshots). This game was so impressive, but now it’s like the developers just can’t be bothered any more, very strange. Tried to play a minute ago, but it just wouldn’t open...so I just closed it down and played my other game. Such a shame.

Been playing this game for a couple of years hate it when you win something and it takes you to Facebook not everyone in the world is on Facebook I for one am not so you have to wait whilst it says a problem connecting and then you can return to game, also it is getting sooo slow playing a game. I now am stuck on one level having won this level 3 times will not take me to next level pointless playing a few weeks later will now not even load
After four months have had a response to update which I always did anyway but I have deleted this app a month ago as its poor management

I used to love this game but I am finding it very frustrating lately because I keep getting sent back to levels I have already completed. At first I didn’t realise what was happening and just thought the games were getting very repetitive. Then I noticed that the level the game was making me start on already showed the number of stars I had gained when I completed it last time. This seems to be a regular occurrence now. I tried to contact the designers through the app but they would only do anything if I gave them my Facebook account details. I’m not linked to it through Facebook and have no intention of being so refused to send them. I have now noticed I’m also losing infinite lives and other rewards I had collected along with my progress. Very disappointing and can’t help wondering if it’s all a ploy to get my Facebook details or for me to pay !!

Super game that could easily be even better

This super game keeps developing as you progress through levels. If you don’t meet the challenge within the allocated moves there is a new page that asks if you wish to continue, with a number of options for getting 5 more moves. If this page showed the number(s) remaining to meet the objective it would be even more satisfying to play. Additionally the settings button is located at the lower right corner of the screen which means that it is sometimes activated accidentally when playing, especially when holding the weight of a larger tablet screen. A super game that could easily be superb!

As the title says this game is very addictive. I play it every day, over breakfast, at work, at home, on the toilet, on holiday, pretty much everywhere. I would give it a 5 star rating but for one thing! The drop down menus! If you don’t want to connect to Facebook then that should be it! But “no” you get loads of them saying connect to Facebook, I’m sorry you didn’t connect to Facebook, let more friends play by connecting to Facebook ect ect ect! I’ve said no god knows how many times but they still keep asking! Stop asking, it won’t happen OK!!

I have been playing this for a while and really enjoying, until now. I have got to level 155 and it keeps crashing , I have completed it once and then it crashed grrrrrrrrrrr . I won't play this again until I have notice that you have fixed the bugs.
I am on 3534, still love it but STILL crashing, I don't mind if I'm stuck on a level for a week but when I do complete it and it crashes 😡 I have completed this level twice and it just crashes at the end.

I love this game! I play this gave EVERYDAY. However its not fun when you've wasted most of your moves and the game only then catches up that there is "NO MATCHES" there is no point continuing the game at this point. PLUS! It's not fair that when for example you only have one more waffle and all your moves are gone, you do not have a option to watch a video to win 5 more moves. But instead you have a chance to watch a video to 5 more moves when there is like 14 waffles left. How is that even possible? I know the purpose of it is to get money. But to be honest it's actually discouraging and can make many players delete the app over frustration. Overall, this is a lovely game. One more thing, the spin to win objects to cheat, the wait is toooo long 12 hours?! 😳

After some 40+ months and never having spent a single penny on this app game, it has become more challenging, frustrating & difficult (level 3284). Still addictive however. The programmers clearly want people to spend money on buying extra coins or tools, which I guess is understandable.
Update to original review dated Feb 2016 (below).
Now been playing for 20 months so, yes, still addictive and reached level 1894 but this could be the end for me. There are another 200 or so levels but I can't see how to complete this level without a big slice of luck and a lot of patience. I still don't intend to spend any money on it but they have started providing bonus boxes at regular intervals to help.
Original review was - Been playing for about 15 months and never spent a penny on it. Reached level 1254 and there would seem to be about 1595 levels in total. Been very slow progress in recent months, probably because I won't spend any money on it!
I'm sure it knows when I'm about to complete a level and deliberately doesn't provide enough items of a certain colour but, maybe I'm just paranoid.
Sometimes they allow unlimited lives for set periods, e.g. 24 hours but, glad this isn't too often. As I said in the title, Very Addictive.

I used to play Candy Crush but it just got too complicated and I could be stuck on a level for a couple of weeks and spent money on the additional things. Started this and never looked back, it's fun and a good way to keep your mind stimulated. I've got addicted but on the plus side it gives you enough freebies to keep you going without having to purchase anything!
