All behind a paywall
The app gives constant notifications for things that are behind a paywall. I feel that features I’ve been able to use before are now also hidden behind the subscription fee. Unless you’re willing to pay £50 a year or £10 a month the app is not useful at all and just gets annoying with the constant notifications. If you’re willing and able to pay I would imagine it is a different experience, but just be aware it is not a free app.

Progress Check No Longer Free
I went into this app again after a spell of being away from it, and I was prompted to sign in again. I noticed that all my son’s progress had disappeared and now the progress tracker requires a subscription. That never used to be the case. I couldn’t afford the subscription, but the tracker was handy. The app is useless to me now, so I’ll just be deleting it.

Badly advertised.
I downloaded this app when I saw that they were promoting it as a free app, once downloaded I found out that to actually use it you had to pay for premium. They shouldn’t false promote something as free to get more downloads…

Not impressed!
At first glance it looks like a great app, but every time I try to look for something it tells me I have to pay! From what I can see there’s not a single part of this app that’s free! Unfortunately, I’m not made of money so I’ll be deleting this app! Very disappointing

Utterly disappointed
I am not sure if the app developers are refusing my request for a refund as I was charged for a all year and I was not even using the app . I have downloaded it as it was free trial to see stuff for baby development and forgot to cancel the trial . I have explained I have a newborn at home and I cannot afford to pay for this app and begged to refund me and 2nd time I was refused . I just don’t understand why ? I need my money back and very upset at the moment as this is a rip off for taking my money for a service I never going to use .

This is NOT a free app
This app does not support any free option, only a free 7 day period, which means the only option is paid (you have to confirm the paid subscription with your bank details before you can even see how it works).
What a waste time (they ask your data and your baby’s data first before telling you the only option is paid).

Brilliant
I got this app to use for my granddaughter and shared it with my daughter being mum. It is quite pricy however having now used it for 9 months well worth it! So much advice, steps to follow and many, many classes etc my daughter loves the growth steps and checking her little one is on track with all her progress. I use it to get ideas to entertain little one at the right stages for her development. Easy to use and just full of creativity and short baby friendly activities for every stage. Would definitely recommend

This is not free.
I downloaded this app after seeing an advertisement about how it was ‘free’, however this was untrue. Once you have signed up, you are offered a free 7 day trial, then a yearly fee of £59.99. Without agreeing to this you can not get any further on the app!

Unhappy isn’t the word
I’ve had this app for 1 year and all of a sudden everything is gone! I loved this app being a first time mum and now all of a sudden you HAVE to pay so disappointed as this app helped see where my little one was at in her development and it’s all vanished

Data suddenly gone
I subscribed to the yearly plan and all of a sudden after about 8/9 months everything is gone! Can’t get any of my data back won’t even restore my purchase to start from fresh. Was using regularly to keep track of milestones but now I don’t recommend as it has now been a waste of money.

This app is unusable without a subscription. They call it premium membership but there isn’t a basic membership you can’t access anything unless you pay. I’m sure the app is great but £9.99 is steep to try out to see if these activities are any good, so it’s a no from me.

Scaremongering parents
I downloaded this app because I wanted some help with teaching my 6mo how to sit.
Immediately I was shocked to see an annual subscription was nearly £60!! For what!? Some videos!?
I decided to do the free trial to see if it could help. It immediately asked me loads of questions about thinks my baby *should* be doing at this age which was terrifying as she wasn’t doing some of them. Fortunately I’m a second time mum so I know every baby develops at their own pace but this app could definitely scare some parents into thinking there’s something wrong with their baby.
After I was through the questionnaire I was thrown into this convoluted app with no explanation of how it works or what I should be doing. I searched for “sitting” but there was only a video encouraging toddlers how to sit on a step which is not what I wanted.
Parents: don’t get this app and definitely don’t give them any money. Lots of play on the floor and lots of interaction with you is all they need to develop at their own pace. The creators of this app are just trying to scare parents into giving them money

PAID for App masquerading as free. Untrustworthy!
I understand that apps need to make money, but I take exception to the way this app attempts to trick people.
To use the app, you must sign in, provide all your details agree to terms and conditions. At this point there is zero indication that payment will be required to use the app. However, all features are locked until a £8 monthly fee is paid. This makes this a PAID app masquerading as free. Surely this is in breach of Apples Store guidelines??
Either way, I find it manipulative and disingenuous. Plus there is no way I will pay that large monthly fee without at least a trial period to confirm it is actually any good.
My advice is to avoid and seek another more genuine app.

Deleted the app. Since signing up they constantly push offers. Not sure what they do with your data - see other reviews about constant spam and not being able to opt out. Not sure if they are UK based, but the ICO should be looking into them.

App does not work proper and you can’t contact support
After an update part of the app stopped working for me. I am unable to view any event in the calendar and participate in any activity even though I am paying. I don’t have the free version.
I am also unable to contact support as after clicking on “contact support” I receive an error telling me to link an email to my iPhone account, which I of course have. To my surprise I am unable to see the actual support email address so I could contact developer from my email outside of their app.

I did the trial but then when your living with a little one I had forgot in the day to day routine to cancel it so I’ve wasted money on this app and don’t even have time to use it
Wouldn’t recommend getting this app as can’t see how anyone in a busy day gets time to do these activities.

I like the app but it’s incredibly buggy
I love the activities when it’s working but everyday my baby’s plan resets and today I can’t even get in because it is on a loop of “update skills > update plan > new skills available > update skills” - needs a lot of debugging especially at this price it needs to work flawlessly.

Wish it were monthly
I’ve only just started using the app and it seems great but I just wish it were an option to change the subscription to a monthly cost. Being on maternity leave doesn’t leave you with any spare money unfortunately and although £37 a year isn’t much, it is when you’re already struggling to pay your bills while on leave. I tried to go into the subscription settings to change it from yearly to monthly as you’d stated on someone else’s review that it is an option but it isn’t. Just yearly. I hope you amend this soon. Thanks

Disappointed
This app is very detailed if you want to compare your baby and it’s development, to the normal percentiles and gives you ideas for activities. I found the activities were a little boring, but the last straw that made me delete this app was that in the breastfeeding section the videos contain all of the women in them completely covered up with a nursing cover, to the point you can’t even see the baby. Breastfeeding is natural, not some dirty secret that needs to be covered up. This app just unfortunately supports this idea in society that breastfeeding is shameful. Not impressed.

Amazing ideas
This has been a godsend for ideas that you would never think of. I do other stuff with baby but I love the personalised activities to help her progress and that fact it just gives you these different things to do. Would really recommend.

Love the app not 5 because .......
I love this app best one I have found to date there’s great activities and the info is great on why your doing and what milestones are gained it’s not a 5 purely because it dose not give you an option to pay monthly as new mum on maternity pay as I am sure a lot are I went to go for the subscription however the only option is to pay a one off payment amount of 37 this is a lot I won’t be doing the subscription because of this and when my free trial ends I will be disappointed but can not justify this much in one go I hope they will review and I would be sure more mums would subscribe if they can spreed there cost over the months and cancel if and when needed

They over charge and charge without permission
I don’t recommend this app. First they advertise a monthly low amount for the app, with 1 week free trial , than they don’t even ask you if you want to continue after the free trial they take a whole year subscription amount from your account! And than you must fight and wait to get it your money back I still don’t have my money back , which was also charged at much higher rate than it was initially advertised.
Honestly avoid this app just go with another one where they don’t steal your money from your account without permission.

Download the app, paid for premium and when wanted to edit family members in the app it stopped working. Is asking me to enter baby’s details and press continue, but nothing happens. No option to return to another screen, just hangs on the page completely stuck. Tried to reset my phone and re-download the app. The same. Was looking forward to the app instead left very disappointed:(

This app could be amazing and I have been enjoying using it to help my baby develop. However when I change an activity or save a milestone when completing an activity it just loads for ages and never goes any further, then I have to restart the app. Very annoying.

Misleading advertisement
So disappointed with this service, I downloaded for the 7 day free trial, didn’t like the app and deleted the day after, I’ve now been charged £65 for something I didn’t use! And no matter how hard I try I can’t talk to anyone about the issue. Not impressed.

I’ve been enjoying this app since my twins were born, and all of a sudden I’m only allowed to update milestones on one of them! I can’t afford the premium (for obvious reason that twins are expensive) so I will probably have to uninstall the app. What a shame.

Excellent tool for progression.
My 4 month old is really progressing because of the exercises in this app. We have been doing them for a month now and I’ve just upgraded from the free version. It’s great having daily new ideas to help him progress his skills through play.
