I can’t believe this is the official app. Forget fantasy football, it doesn’t even show the regular scores and tables properly. Everything loads horribly, navigation is appalling. No back buttons. This is the worst FIFA app i have used to date. It is like little to no thought has gone into what the users want to see. Every time you go to scores section you are put right back at the first match and have to scroll through the days to get to the latest scores. If you click on a game there is no back button to get back to scores so you have to find other ways to get back to where you are, then i cannot find any information on group tables/points/scores on the app, i have to go elsewhere for that information. They dropped the ball on this version, just like FIFA did in this tournament

I can only think this is yet another corrupt deal where FIFA paid a friend to make the app and that friend got their 10 year old child to make the app.

Very amateur app. Like Gianni Infantino asked a mate to build the app and got kickbacks for the favour. No return button to refer back to a previous page anywhere - you have to loop back through from the beginning in Fantasy so researching and referencing is slow and laborious. Also, English language in the rules of fantasy football is not clear enough eg. Boosters - do I choose one of them to deploy once or can I deploy all of them once? It’s not clear. Shameful, like most of FIFA’s initiatives.

Appallingly run app
Haven’t used all features of the app but my experience with the World Cup fantasy has been shocking.
The game should be fun but the app never made it user friendly from the get go. The game should’ve been kept in app for a smoother experience on mobile instead of diverting to web browser. The set out rules for scoring have became unclear as points have not been rewarded for certain actions relating to real life performance. Not helpful that midway through a round of scoring that the already uncertain rules were then changed.
In my personal experience my wildcard booster didn’t work and would not save my new team draft so I was left with the same squad of players as the previous match day, meaning that I didn’t get the intended use and essentially the chip was wasted.
I feel this was quite unjust especially when there are players who are somehow abusing the broken game system by transferring players mid game and ending with a squad that exceeds the 100Mil transfer budget!

From quarter finals onwards the app tells you that the winner of match number xx plays the winner of match number yy but nowhere does it state what the match numbers in the previous rounds are. It’s impossible to work out even if you go by ko time. Easy but crucial fix.

Fantasy Football experience
Since game week one I have been in a league with my friends. I was 5 points off going third. I got 5 points for Ruben Dias after the Uruguay game but the stupid system refuses to add them. My game week score still says 65 (when it should say 70) and my overall score says 98 rather than the 103 I should have. All the other people in my league have their totals added up correctly.
Please fix urgently.

If you want an app that quickly tells you, perhaps, what’s going on in the World Cup today? Don’t bother.
Filled with arbitrary news articles all over every function, in the way of the basic information all the fans need, it’s behind annoying.
Whoever built this app needs sacking or suing. Absolute joke. “Official World Cup app”, I hope the stadiums aren’t built to the same standard.
Simple things it should do, I don’t know like displaying the tables in a location you can find easily? No, sorry, we’d like to make the user scroll down a few pages of advertising and garbage before doing that.
The search function doesn’t even work. Try typing in “Group E” for example. Nothing back. My four year could have built a more advanced pile of horse manure than this app comes close.

Fantasy football section is a joke that they are fixing bugs and issues with the scoring system during a live World Cup. A tournament app should work like a digital version of a wallchart.
It should be easy to navigate to the most relevant information; group tables, fixtures, results, etc. with supplementary information; squads, stats, player profiles being secondary, and the extras; videos, shop, etc, being lower priority.

Disappointing app for disappointing governing body.
Not easy to use, lots of bugs, not very aesthetically pleasing. FIFA’s hypocrisy, corruption, and disregard for human rights is well documented - their reputation has taken a hit this World Cup. Needs to be separate app for WC and user shouldn’t have to click ‘more’ several times to access all of the group tables, they should be on the home page. Even the in-match data is terrible - although I like the ‘in contest’ statistic for possession.

Really poor UX. The app is an illogical mess and lacks some really basic functions (for instance a ‘back’ button). It’s also very glitchy and I have technical issues every time I open it.
Interesting that I’m seeing similar comments from the last World Cup 4 years ago. It’s not like FIFA haven’t had enough time and resources to sort this app out. Incredibly disappointing.

Worst Fantasy Football game ever - EMBARRASSING
So many bugs and exploits in Fantasy World Cup. The points scoring system doesn’t work as advertised (no one is getting points for tackles, key passes, penalties won/conceded, goals conceded for defenders). I have seen several people with 2 defender formations or 6 midfielders in their squad. The player list hides players from you.
There is an exploit which needs fixing. You can have Messi in your team playing early then transfer him out for a cheap player, then transfer out an unlocked player to bring in another premium option like Mbappé and use him this round so you end up with people who have teams beyond £100m value. I have seen players with -£6m in the bank because they have used this exploit.

I thought the Premier League was bad, but this takes it to a whole new level.
It often doesn’t save your changes on Fantasy; half the time there’s a login error; there’s no actual back button when reading articles; and the articles themselves have so many typos and formatting inconsistencies.

Information provided for World Cup fans is poor and inconsistent. No photos of players is some countries profiles or any detail about them (age, matches, league and team etc); no mention of date of forthcoming matches when you click on the matches the team is to play from that teams tab.

Unbelievably poor UX
Where do I even begin… you’d think what’s supposed to be a rich modern would be able to build a relatively simple app together, if anything by copying other ones like the NBA…
Having a bracket for the tournament, the ability to see the match ups but hide the score, the ability to choose a favourite team and get additional info… the simple ability to go back within the app… it’s like a first year computer science student built this by themselves…

Where is the back button? Why can’t I just click on a team in the group table and be taken to their team page? When you do go to a team page and go to their fixtures, once you have clicked on a fixture there is no way of backing out.

Let’s be honest nearly everyone is using this app for the fantasy football and although the lay out looks quite similar to the uefa euros fantasy last year, this one is terrible. This is one of the best sports Apps I’ve ever seen. So much breadth and depth. There’s loads of current news constantly updated. You can watch cool films, get team stats, play fantasy football games, and of course it has everything you could ever want to know about Qatar 2022.

Fantasy should have its own app for this tournament, 4 days to go until the deadline and it’s a car crash. Expected better. Lets be honest, no one really cares about the news part in here as we can get that elsewhere. Most will want to play the FL part so please make sure all your energy is focussed on this part. It's a huge part of the world cup as everyone will talk about it on social media. Currently, it's quite poor and not user friendly, its hidden away in the menu and diverts to a website instead of being as part of the app. You can do better than this guys.

Lots of glitches
Can tell it’s just been made as quick as possible. Lots of things not working. I’m logged in on the app but doesn’t recognise it on the integrated web page so can’t do much. Turns music off when I open the app. Can’t just filter fixtures by World Cup games. Painful, download again after a few more updates, fantasy World Cup should have its own tab!

Fix this ASAP
I’ve tried setting up a fantasy football team and every time I try to create it the app tells me I need to sign up to fifa+ even though I’ve already created an account and am signed in! This glitch means I literally can’t create a team. Fix this ASAP before the tournament starts!

Wasted 20 minutes
Wasted 20 minutes of my life with this clunky app setting up a fantasy football team in what was a horrible ui. Only for it to not recognise I was logged in, telling me to sign up to save the team. Trying to sign up, just showed me I was already logged in and signed up but wouldn’t let me confirm the team. Closed and reopened app to loose everything. Not going to try that again.
As a companion to World Cup it is heavily bloated and impossible to navigate, there are already better apps out there to following WC.

Update stopped fantasy working
There was an update yesterday to include the fantasy football. I’m logged into the app, then go T log into my fantasy team and it says I’m already logged in and keeps asking me to create a team. I have a team, I’m logged in. They need to fix this annoying bug so users can play fantasy using the app in iOS. The webpage works ok just the app is broken.

Pretty happy apart from one super annoying bug
When I’m listening to a podcast or music via my AirPods and open this app it starts playing through my phones speaker and not my headphones. Only happens when I open this app. Super picky but actually has frustrated me many times I’ve opened your app. Should be a small fix!

Swap Area is rubbish
I completed the main sticker album weeks ago. I’m now trying to collect ‘Update Edition’ and ‘Trophy Tour’ stickers. I’ve currently got 272 stickers on my swap pile. Over the last 2 weeks I’ve only had 1.... yes only 1 swap!!! You need to get this sorted before I get bored and just delete this app. Very disappointing!!

Why other leagues and no logic for semi final numbers
This app should focus only on the world cup and forget any other leagues who cares about premiership, spanish league etc during the world cup
Also please make the numbering for other games more meaningful what is W57 ??? How dificcult is to simply name each game and then we can work out what W57 is
Or show the semis and final is a key format
Apart from that good app to follow the results but could be wayyyy better

Horrible UX
Downloaded this app to follow the World Cup. I don’t want to know about the premier league, Bundesliga or any other football. But the user experience just makes it impossible to find the most relevant info.
When are the games (in my time zone)
What are the live (group-)standings
What is the next game after the current game
... though you can find the info somewhere it’s just hard and unclear and you literally end up pressing all options
