Notifications bug

Quite regularly, you can have notifications for certain matches (like when you have a bet on that match), then you unfollow that match but you will continue to get the notifications which is extremely annoying! This is not just a one off it happens quite frequently.

Sneaky price update!

Whilst the app itself is obviously brilliant at what it does, I cannot get onboard with the 10x price hike with 0 comms from them. Been a subscriber for years, but increasing from £2.99 to £29.99 without informing people first is a no-no. Probably would have stayed if there’s was a least an email or a notification explaining the increase, but just doing it silently in the hope people don’t have a chance to see is a bit sneaky for me. I even emailed them asking about it and no-one bothered replying. App deleted.

Had this app for a few years which I love but one thing I wish you would add to the app from the web version is the groups option in favourites. It is so convenient when you need to put certain matches into a certain group (when tracking football bets etc) and I currently have to use the web version which is full of adds which I have paid to have off but can’t avoid this when I use the web. I’m sure it would be pretty easy to add so can I ask or request that this feature is added to the app in the next update for the start of this season. All in all I do enjoy the app and is my favourite live sports app

What a joke just like bet365 who run it Most upto date app there is joke 1 of my teams is winning 1-0 halftime. Not according to these it’s still 0-0 . These are just puppets for bet365 whatever they say goes it’s a joke of an app . I had a bet placed with bet365 a player to have a shot on target according to this app he hadn’t even touched the ball. So I checked with skybet and my bet had already won . So I’ve been using Flashscore for a couple yrs now and always thought “i wish they added this or that”. They have been constantly updating this app to the point now that with the latest update it is officially in my eyes pound4pound the best sports/football app out there. Please add hide scores feature

Update: I’m not going to update my review to 5 stars because you are lacking a basic feature and my rating reflects my thoughts about that. If your suggestion to change my review is the only way you’re going to suggest it to your team then I literally will just not use your app at all. Crazy business.

As a UK fan of some US sports I’d love to check what matches are coming up later in the day without spoiling the results from overseas games that happened overnight. Would pay the sub for this feature and no app offers it so far.

Notifications broken

Clearing the cache hasn’t helped, nor reinstalling multiple times, signing in/out etc.

The football notifications settings page is completely blank. I still can’t toggle the main notifications settings as the toggles don’t move. This has only started since the ‘new’ notifications system was added.

This review is regarding football. Even when tapping in to the notification bell, toggling an item on or off, and exiting, the settings do not save. The notification bell icon stays with a strikethrough and doesn’t turn in to a full bell as before when a notification was set.

I also receive notifications for my favourite team even with all possible notification settings for the team and match toggled off.

In the main notification settings, I cannot toggle top news notifications off, and I cannot toggle match notifications on. The toggle will not move.

I have deleted and reinstalled the app and the issue remains.

I can not recommend this app enough!

Whatever sport you are in to this app keeps you up to date with all the action as it happens. It is very fast and sometimes a little too fast! If you are watching a live game that has lagged by a few seconds, you get to know the action before it has happened Lol.

Had onefootball to look at the scores for football and thought I’d try flash score and it’s so much easier to with fast live scores for the football, darts and pretty much every sport score you can think of. One thing they need to do is include Shinty scores if they did which would be very helpful I wouldn’t be off the app. 5 stars brilliant.

Always seems to be an issue of some kind

Good app but half of the time there seems to be at least 1 or 2 issues with the connection. For example today I haven’t been able to open any specific game to look at stats because it just says “something went wrong”. Yesterday the app wouldn’t open for an hour because of some connection issue. If the make the app more stable and fix these issues it would be the undisputed champ of live score apps. For now I’m having to use another.

Needs better server maintenance!

Think it's time for me to delete this account and app and use some app that have some up and running servers. Overall best app

Been using this app for years, back when it didn’t have the new revamp and updates.

Flashscore is easily the best sports app as it has a variety of didn’t sports for you to keep on top of. I like how now it tells you if there is a big chance in a football match and you can a players career path, the transfer fee and all sorts

I also follow the Tennis and that is simplicity at its best. The only 2 things I would like on that is see a players full year because currently you can only see from Roland Garros onwards, and another is to see a players results from previous years. I absolutely love how you can see tournaments by countries. It shows over 2100 ranked players. Great work

Amazing

Flashscore is definitely my favourite live score app. The notifications are way faster than other football apps I've used, and the text and audio commentary is useful if a Premier League match I want to watch isn't on the TV or radio. The only improvement I can think of is can you add notifications for missed penalties? They can be important, and most football apps have those notifications.

Excellent, but…

I’ve always paid to have “banner-free” advertising. Over the last year however there are two huge sections of advertising for betting companies. There was alway a small bit of betting info, but it has tripled in volume. Completely in the way, and harder to find the info I want. I’ve paid for one service all these years and now it seems they’ve found a way to add in other adverts, which are far more annoying than the banners ever were, so now I feel it’s pointless to pay to get rid of the banners. Advertising aside, it’s a great app and I’d hate to look for a new one where I get the choice for my ad-free payment to give me no ads! I would happily update my review if developers can offer an ad-free service (like it used to be).

Best scores app by far

I was a loyal user of the sky sports score centre app for years until their updates and bugs rendered it completely unusable. Discovered this app and it’s an absolute revelation. It has everything - every score from every game and so easy to use and never glitches out.

Live text commentary on the big games is always good quality and I’ve been using it for a few years now and various updates have only made the experience even more sleek. Not just football either, they keep track of pretty much every sport around the world.

The only way it could improve would be to have the live scores from snooker frames, rather than just the frame-by-frame progression. Football is perfection though

Easy to navigate and follow multiple sports and teams. The score updates are very quick, even for lower league football.

My only gripe is the displaying of goal difference. I appreciate being able to see goals scored/against, but it would be great to be able to switch it to the usual -+ format to easily compare GD amongst multiple teams within a league.

Tennis App good but not great for dyslexia

Hi,, I like the real time information, especially the accuracy of the times in estimating when match’s may start. I’m dyslexic however, (1 in 8 people are). Reading from a white background even slightly off white, such as your app, is like trying to read in direct sunlight. Made worse as having it back lit due to being on a tablet, as I also have Asperger Syndrome, that bright light can cause tiredness and blurring. Also the print/font/text of the app is so small, when I can put it on landscape, so theres plenty of room for larger font/text. Would you please make the apo more accessible for us with dyslexia, by either, allowing the apo to adapt to an Ipad settings, which mine would inverse the colours and increase the font size. Or add a custom drop down list, so I can change the background to a suitable colour and font size to something I can easier read. I’m having to use the built in magnifier to see the tournament and match information. Ideally the app would include backgrounds of; Ivory beige, cream, pastel green or blue, black or Navy blue (Not yellow or pink, as these with white are not easy to read from) Thanks

It’s a very good app for lineups seeing matches commentary and much more. But I seem to notice that iPhone users don’t get as much updates because my friends have google pixel and I have an iPhone and my friends get all these wee updates while I don’t they get player faces ratings and more while I only get jersey number and there name I’m not complaining but it would be nice for iPhone users to be included. But I do love this app

This is a great app, keeps me informed of all the football results that matter to me. I tend not to put goal notifications on as this for me spoils the fun, the anticipation of a “big chance” flashing really excites me. There’s plenty of information available, league standings, recent results, top goal scorers and plenty more is all at hand. More importantly it’s pretty reliable 99% of big chance flashes are goals, the odd one isn’t but again all part of the excitement. Great app, keep up the good work. I understand only around 25 people work for Flashscore, good job by all of you. 😀😀

Almost a perfect app

The app has the vast majority of mainstream sports scores and leagues, and contains a lot of information about each. My only complaint is with some of the layouts and amount of times you need to select an option to see what you want - but I suspect that is a niche opinion, so on the whole the app is great.

Edit:

If you favourite a competition under a sport, it might be more straightforward to see the results of the games of that league on the first page after the sport is selected. As opposed to having to select the league. It’s a minor complaint, but when you’re switching between sports, it can make the whole process a bit slower.

Keep previews when tennis goes in play!

Been using Tennis24 which was run by the same group, but as of 1 September has been discontinued, so was directed to use Flashscore instead, it’s exactly the same info etc and as always is fast and efficient, however the only problem I have is that once a tennis match goes In play you cannot read the preview for the match, It’s usually pretty good info to use on making profitable trading/ betting decisions, please add this feature to read this info I would be so grateful!

I have used the app for a few seasons now ,but am disappointed with the new layout .in the past when you clicked on a league the page was split in 2 . The fixtures on one side and league positions on the other , was really good . New layout you cannot do that , you have to keep switching back and too .very annoying

New visual design has major problems

UPDATE: After I said that I'm still using Soccerstand to get around the issues with the redesign, the developers have responded to my review by... stopping Soccerstand from working. This was one of my most used and loved apps for many years, it's a shame to see it being ruined like this just because they can't admit that their redesign is flawed, and it's sad that they have now forced me to move to an alternative app by a different developer who puts their users first.

Previous review: It has been a month now and no sign of any fixes for the accessibility problems for visually impaired people of using bright red highlights, or nearly black backgrounds with high contrast in dark mode. Also, no sign of a fix for the huge amounts of unnecessary padding that severely reduces the amount of information visible on each screen in the app compared to the classic design.

I've been forced to revert to the developer's older app Soccerstand, which is three years out of date, doesn't have dark mode, and doesn't display all events by start time, but is still much more preferable than trying to use an app full of empty padding with a colour scheme that is hard to read.

I have used a number of Apps to keep up to date with my wide range of favourite sports, teams and major and minor leagues. Nothing even remotely compares to Flashscore for its detail and comprehensiveness. Great app for following your team or the games you’re interested in

It’s honestly a great app, 100% recommend using it if you regularly check sport results or wanna get live updates on a game.

Although, notifications are really annoying. I usually get 3-5 notifications if one team scored and it’s quite frustrating when there are 2+ goals on a game or if you’re following multiple games at the same time.

Other than that, it’s an excellent app!

Old version worked perfectly, it had colour coded for sports so it was easy to see. Someone decided this was too user friendly and have done away with the colours. The fonts size is bigger so you now have to scroll through to see previous results. It’s awful. Please do us all a favour and revert back to how it was or at least give us the option to change back if we want too. Baffles me what these developers get paid for without consulting the users/customers. I don’t recall doing a survey to say what I’d like to see changed!

Some issues need resolved

I can’t lie, the app is by far the best out there for keeping you updated with scores from your sport of interest. There are a few things that I personally feel need amended from a consumer point of view.

Firstly I paid the annual subscription to remove the adverts from the platform, and yet on the summary page of any game, I am being force fed gambling odds from various gambling sites. This to me is unfair and should have to be removed for those that have paid the annual fee - which is specifically to remove adds. It’s not like I have paid and received additional functionality in the app. It’s very sly and underhand. This should be an area of concern for your team, as I will not be paying you further until it is resolved.

Secondly - please can you add further stats for rugby union and please amend the “lineup” section to a birds eye view of players in their position as apposed to an alphabetic list of players. This can be confusing for various reasons.

Only 3 stars now…

Flashscore has been my favourite sports info app. Until this rebrand. The new design has moved Flashscore from its key strength - facts and figures at a glance. Take the Scottish Premiership table. In the old version I could see all 12 teams (iPad landscape) and relegation info. In the new Flashscore, 12 teams become 8. Who’s at the bottom? I now have to scroll up to see. Too much space in the design has made the app worse. I think most users just want plain info - and quickly. The match summary looks strange, with substitutes’ names now in light grey for no reason. It was fine before. I like the new dateline. Much better than the calendar. Lineups view has improved too. But overall…TOO MUCH SPACE!! Cheers.

Continuous Improvement

I have used this app for at least 5 years now, and new updates improve the app often. It’s new user interface is modern and makes navigation easier, just need to get used to it.

Includes many things from scores and lineups to commentary and highlights for many sports.

Also you can ‘favourite’ teams so you get automatic updates. Anything I’d work on is an option for more news updates for teams, and more depth into ice hockey :)

New update needs adjusting

New updated layout is quite annoying especially when looking at recent h2h stats, previously when it was on the 1 line it was very easy and quick to read and now becomes difficult being across 2 lines.. luckily I have 2 phones so have managed to stay on the old version on 1 phone.. I love flash score due to how quick and easy it was to read but now it’s over 2 lines just seems slightly more complicated… please change h2h back to 1 line and easy and quick to read. Can this also be changed on the desktop version too. otherwise update is okay…

Rugby and favourites

As much as I love the app, especially for football it fall behind on the Rugby. Starting line ups are my biggest bug bear where for some ridiculous reason players are listed in alphabetical order instead of position. You can work it out yourself but when you have some players that play multiple positions you have no idea. The second one for me is the ability to not favourite matches that are more than a week away, be good for future planning if this was available as you don’t always remember who is playing when.

Amazing app, simple interface!

This is the best live score app out there with really good customisation and updates practically realtime!

I would also like to give a huge shout out to the cricket commentary which is very interactive.

My one small suggestion though would be for international football/soccer fixtures, in the line-ups page rather than having its nation/flag next to the player, perhaps have the club logo that player plays for?

Great Information

Appreciate that the primary function of the app is live scores, others offer this and this application doesn’t fall short. The real benefits are to be had from the information supplied, the statistics from previous games, links to news articles and calendar for future games. Only negative I can put up is on the live score notifications they can be a bit confusing the way they pop up in devices little hard to work our exactly who has scored.

Great app nonetheless.

My go-to live score app

This is such a good app, been my go-to for a few months now. The live score updates are on time, the app is fairly easy to navigate, it is aesthetically pleasing, there aren’t any ads, and all the in-app details seem pretty accurate. I used to use Sky Sports for years but as soon as I started using this app I deleted SS.

There are only two things stopping me from giving it 5 stars:

1) the league tables are pretty basic, for example the Premier League table just shows games played, goals for and against, and points. I would much prefer detailed tables with wins/losses/draws etc

2) the lack of NFL and NBA box scores. I still have another live score app downloaded as a secondary app just for this purpose and it would be such a good thing for this app to have

Again, this is a fantastic app that I use on a daily basis. I just have the two gripes I mentioned; I would update my rating to 5 stars if they are addressed in the future

I came here after Sky Sports Score Centre’s app’s latest update made menu’s hard to navigate and was just overall difficult to use. I’m not disappointed. Everything about this app is great, especially the layout and the way you can navigate through the football scores/stats/line ups. Except a lot more movers after the complete mess of the Sky Sports score centre app.

Apple Watch notifications

Update: Not looking for a watch app - it’s the iPhone notifications that are mirrored to the watch. The club logo is so large that the text can’t fit on the watch screen.

Superb app. If one thing could be improved for me - notifications shared with Apple Watch are too large to appear on the watch, so you have to scroll down to see what’s actually happened. Other than that - perfect. Thank you.

So slow it’s almost useless

I started using this app because of its reviews, depth and speed - it was perfect for switching back & forth between betting sites to check/lay my bets etc....

But now, it has slowed to point where it is useless and has cost me more than once.

When I switch back to the app, I am met with a loading screen that can be there for more than a few minutes - it never used to be this way but whether I am on WiFi or 4G, it is the same.

I’m looking for a new app to use unless this is sorted asap - I cant afford to be left in limbo while waiting for this app to decide if it’s going to open or not!

Shame, ‘flash’ sounds fast - unfortunately it’s anything but....

FlashScore has the best and easiest to analyse stats.

Been useing FlashScores for almost 10 years, first through their website then through the app in recent years and never had an issue, possibly not the most comprehensive lot of stats on teams and players but still more than enough to make informed betting decisions and the ease of use that comes with useing and navigating flash-scores is really where they smash all competitors.

Great app!

This app is nearly perfect, I mainly use it for keeping an eye on the football scores but also offers a huge range of other sports. The only downside id say it has is; on the website a little red dot flashes up next to a team with a “big chance”, basically meaning they’ve scored, I enjoy looking out for these, the mobile app doesn’t have this feature, I personally would love to see the developers incorporate it into the mobile version.

All you need to follow your bets

Love this app, everything you need for pre game stats and standings. During the game all the info is always up to date, booking and sub info is a bonus. Notifications come through fast. Nearly perfect. The one ‘very minor’ problem I have is the notification that comes through on the Apple Watch. It’s a nice touch when the notification displays the club badge along with the score on your phone or iPad, but on the Apple Watch you can only see a badge, if you want to score details you have to scroll down to see it. Like I said very minor, but if the info and badge was able to change order of display this would be perfect.

Most improved sports app

Really enjoy using this app above others sports app. With every update it gets better and better (dark mode, archived leagues and the ability to tap on competitions anywhere on app), well done! Reason behind not giving it 5 stars is due to more number of favourite teams needed and FIFA rankings against each international team would help on those long international breaks. With those additions I personally would never need to use another sports app again!

Very good app but remember to do this ...

Be careful “starring” your favourite team in this app because the app notifies you of goals faster than the TV stream, so if you’re watching your team play on the TV then you’ll get a notification to say there’s a goal about a minute before it happens. So just remember when you’re watching your team play live on TV to “unstar” your team before the game starts and then star them again afterwards.

Great App however could be slightly better

The app is brilliant most of the time and has recently been updated to include football scorers, not just the team score. I know this is a free app and I’m grateful for it however developers want to know how to make them even better so here are 2 things that I believe could make it even better:

1. When I select my favourite football leagues and my favourite tennis tournaments, for example, I’d like these to be sourced in the same place. I have to change sport to access the tennis. Is there a way to have all of my favourites from any sport, all in the one place?

2. Can there be a notification sent at half time in games, not just full time.

Flashscore: Notice

Dear flashscore, simply ur the best app ever ther is!!! U almost did everything we need! But one thing really important is missing, which is stats for the game for every match even in the unknown leagues, corner stats possession etc, if u add more leagues and provide them with the stats ull simply be the number 1 app since it helps in analyzing games in betting!

U can have a look at an app called 777scores, they were able to provide stats for almost every league in the world.

Amazing stats

I’ve used football apps in the past, but this FlashScores has given me a better chance of beating the bookies with the info that is provided for both teams on match day, and when I highlight a team, I get a notification of a goal before I’ve seen it go in whilst watching the game live on tv, brilliant app, easy to use, and when the bookies thought they had no chance, FlashScores made me believe otherwise and netted me some £££’s 🏆👍

Much improved and faster

I noticed a huge difference in the fluidity of the updated app straight away. It’s much faster and responsive. Colours seem more vibrant too? Overall very impressed with the update and the devs have done a really great job. I’ve not noticed the score update scenario yet and hopefully that’s been fixed?

For people who say it only works on WiFi, you need to update your carrier settings so you are allowed to visit gambling sites etc. It’s not a fault with the app. I’m guessing because it’s connected to gambling it has some sort of age restriction with it? I had same problem with the original app when I received a new phone contract and had to complete the age verification to allow age restricted sites. Once I did that it was all working fine again and so was my betting apps.

It would be nice if you could build an acca from the FlashScores app instead of it opening bet365 each time and adding it as a single bet in a separate browser.

I love this app but need just a bit more

I have been using this app for a few years now to help with my OCD for football. I support a different team in every country or geographical area in the world. So far I follow over 300 teams worldwide and this app is invaluable to helping me with this. I have tried many other football apps bit none compare to this one. I have given 4/5. The only thing that has stopped me giving 5/5 is the fact that I can only save 100 favourite teams. I never like to miss one of my teams results but sometimes they slip through the net. Please please please could the favourite teams limit be lifted, even if I had to pay a small fee for the app, that would definitely get 5/5 from my next review.
