The Classic moForte Guitar, introduced in 2012, is the first virtual guitar based on modeling the physics and performance techniques of the guitar. Because the moForte Guitar is modeled rather than based on playing back samples, the performance experience is uniquely expressive and interactive. Based on based on the Physical Modeling research of Dr. Julius O. Smith III of Stanford/CCRMA.

One step away from greatness

All apps I buy have to meet the criteria of doing something that no other app I already own can do. MoForte Guitar achieves this, with its methods of play. Lovely sounds, great to have IAA, and for me that vital AudioBus support. To make it a 5 star app, the developers should include Retina class graphics, to properly take advantage of today's quality. At present the graphics look like yesterday.

Great sounding app, just needs that little bit more

This app sounds fantastic, its easy to play, i can think of 2 improvements which would make it 5 stars.

1. I would love this app to be audiobus compatible for use with other effects and DAW's

2. I would find it more usable if the mute and harmonic buttons were momentary, or have the option to change to this in the settings, so that it only plays the mute/harmonic when your finger is on the button, then reverts to an ordinary strike when released. It would add so much more expression to the sound
