Love the app, but recent Apple Health Sync issues
App worked brilliantly but the last few days, it hasn’t synced properly with any of my third party apps. Tried all the troubleshooting fixes and even delayed and reloaded.

Constantly shows active notifications on the icon that are impossible to find in the app.

Just doesn’t work
I signed up to an ex revise initiative with work, and as part of that I received a Max Buzz activity tracker. It just doesn’t work. I connected it to the app and it initially connected by didn’t sync any of my steps and didn’t show as registered. After that I couldn’t sync it at all, and the watch wouldn’t sync. Rubbish.

Poor reliability, poor functionality
Constantly tells me that my login is incorrect, even though I’m using a password manager and logins work on the website. Can’t correct a workout if entered incorrectly (even if you contact “support”). Still doesn’t work on iOS 16, 10 days after it launched. Doesn’t save manually entered steps “Something went wrong. Please try again” 4 out of 5 times. Poor.

The virgin pulse app / programme connects with Garmin but does not allow automatic transfer of steps. So if you have a Garmin device then you will need to manually enter steps.

Nice to use but slight bugs
Easy to set up and connects to many devices! Points programme is a good incentive to do more, but workouts do not appear to get added to your daily totals for points. I still get the exercise but would love to see the points pile up too as I cycle.

A complete mess
I don’t know if this is a mess due to the app (good reviews noted) or due to how my company has ‘integrated’ with it. Either way for me it is an endless loop of clicking on similar sounding stuff and getting sent to another location with more similar sounding stuff. I have no idea what I’m supposed to be doing half the time. Checked with colleagues and they are clueless too. This app is probably 10 times more complicated than it should be.

App is pants, load the app a privacy notification appears then the app freezing happens over and over even after force closing the app. So i cant even load or use the app. (Iphone 11 pro)

Terrible
Used to be good, now you do things like read your daily cards and half the time it doesn’t give you points. My Fitbit registers over 7hrs sleep however this app never gives me the 50 points for 7+ hours sleep. It’s also stopped giving me points for logging food on my fitness pal, I’ve disconnected my account and connected it again but this made no difference. I’ve also e-mailed virgin pulse and had no response, terrible app, terrible service, avoid.

vigin pulse - new user
1st time using any type of health tracking system. taking a but of time to update some things, but have already started changing habits and an mire aware of what I eat, what i do, and how much (or little in my case) exercise I have been doing. Been using fir 3 days - looking forward to seeing my results after 1 month of use

Really buggy app
This app is really not great, even for a free one. It does the trick to track the basic health progress, but it’s full of bugs.
The most annoying one being that almost every month it’s impossible they log in, with an error message popping up.
Or the app will ask you for your password, and even if it’s the correct one, refuse to log you in. The truck is to update the app. But then, why not just send a message saying it’s compulsory that update the app? Waste of time really.

Last update is causing issues
Doesn’t sync with my TomTom and manually entered steps don’t count towards challenges, which is frustrating. Since the last update I go into the app and sometimes it displays no information/ stats and crashes far more often than it used to. Need to bug fix

A great way to kickstart your fitness
Easy to use app. It links to my Apple Watch. I gave it 4 instead of five as it sometimes takes it a while to connect to the Apple Watch for my steps. Other than that it’s a great little app that’s well presented and pretty usable!
