I went on the game tried all types of baits and didn’t catch anything then I tried different depths to and ground bait that didn’t work overall a lot of potential but being able to catch fish would be good.

If you want a game that lets you catch non stop and gets boring then don’t buy this game. If you want a game what is incredibly like real fishing then this game is for you.
No pay to win, you can play with just the minimum.
Love how you need to find features and try different baits and tactics depending the weather and the lake.

Best Coarse Fishing Game!
Absolutely brilliant.
This is the coarse fishing game I always hoped would one day exist. I love being able to cast a couple of rods and then leave the game open in the background on my iPad while I do other things around the house. When the bite alarms bleep, I get the same instant kick as if I was actually on the bank fishing.
The graphics can be a little hit/miss with trees not rendering properly and some of the terrains could be updated to look better. But overall this game is truly fantastic and captures the essence of coarse fishing.
Fantastic job and I will look forward to any new updates or new item or venue purchases made available.

Honestly I absolutely love this game whenever I can’t go fishing I do night fishing on this game I absolutely love it. Just one thing maybe you could add something where you could change the sound of the alarms to whatever you want that would be fantastic. And also maybe add some PVA bags so like we don’t have to spod all the time so like when you select your bait etc you can put certain bait into a pva bag and when your sorting your bait and rig out on that certain rod there could be an option to put a PVA Bag with your bait inside so when you cast bait spreads around where your fishing so it’s a lot quicker and easier to catch fish and spread bait.

Buggy and glitchy on iPhone 13 pro max

Can’t use rod one. Can’t set it up. Purchased additional rod and marker ( marker is a nice touch though) Won’t reel in. Won’t cast properly. Is by all intents useless now. Honestly frustrated by this now and I even spent money on it. Will be getting it refunded btw

This carp fishing simulator is just absolutely brilliant. Makes me want to go to the real lakes all the time. Game play is brilliant the quality of the detail that’s gone into the graphics are awesome. Really enjoyable and I recommend it to all fresh water anglers who have some spare time to check out this quality game.

Don’t take the other reviews to seriously as they are over exaggerated and yes the game does crash but very very rarely and I’ve only had the game crash 2 times in the whole 2 months I’ve been playing it !!!
It’s an amazing game I highly recommend anyone who loves fishing to play this as its super realistic and spot on with fishing reality !!!
So just download and try it for yourself and if you don’t like it you can just delete it but trust me you won’t !!

Awful..full of glitches and for an initial £2.99 just to get it, you get zero from the start.
It doesn’t even fit an iPhone screen properly.
Menus are rubbish too..click on and it gives no tuition to get you started.
For instance..first lake I was given bread and a hair rig??? Just kept saying it was wrong (yeh I know) and yet no way to change it.

Amazing potential
Great game, love how realistic the rod reacts with a fish on. Love the fact you have to think about it, find your spot, clip up, experiment with baits and rigs.
Must admit, I get slightly annoyed by the fact you get the tactics correct and catch a decent sized fish then nothing else for the next couple of hours. A little too realistic! If I was prepared to watch my phone for that long I just as well go fishing for real.
Had some glitches at the start but they seem to have disappeared for now.

Abusive Company
This game has limited potential, and is not supported by the caustic and embittered group behind the software. Fronted only through Facebook they refuse to acknowledge constructive criticism and prefer to abuse the customer for having the temerity to suggest improvements.
Shoddily put together with no help for the player, it makes little to no sense, basically it’s a mess. Even the language used to tell you what is happening is poorly written “you casted 12.1 yards” for example, or “These sinking pellets” which you CAN use to surface fish. It’s confusing and misleading.
Graphics which read “Image coming soon” except they never will (6 years and still waiting). Constant crashes for no reason and no updates in years either. Save your money, it’s simply not a good piece of software.

It’s a good game when it work
I’ve bought the game just over a week ago and it’s been find up until now but all of a sudden I can’t play the game any more...when I click on the app it opens up as it should then when am picking somewhere to fish it automatically closes the app down an takes me back to the iPad home screen I hope this gets fixed soon as it’s a good game to play and you don’t want to pay for something that doesn’t work after a few times of playing it

Casting distance
I’ve had the game for quite some time and though I generally enjoy playing it the achievable casting distance is quite laughable especially when trying to fish the larger waters like Gigantica. Surely an update to improve playability is due soon and if so make sure it doesn’t wipe purchases already made. All in all a good game just needs a little tweaking from the developers.

Best game iv ever had
I am a carp fisherman and have been thinking of getting the game for a while, iv now been playing for a few weeks and obviously I’m gonna love it any carp fisherman will there are just a few minor points and I hope that the game does get updated soon, the game does crash sometimes where you can’t re cast the rod it just keeps reeling so you have to come off and on again which means re starting the session it’s a bit annoying if your rods have been out a while, also I saved up to get a bait boat and it rarely works once iv loaded it up I go to drive it but it don’t go forward or back then I have to drop the bait on the ground and try again which I usually just end up casting the rod myself coz it waists your bait it says to walk round the lake first to try spot fish but the only way you can see them is when they jump out which would take hours if your just walking round would be good to see more movement in the water, would like there to be a ground bait or particle you can use which all there is atm is sweet corn and tiger nut and it throws out 1 at a time, all this does not put me off as I love the game so much and literally have my rods out any chance I get il write another review in a few months if there are other issues but any real fisherman that buys this game will love it.

Good game if it was the year 2000
So many things wrong with the game in the year 2020.
A few of the problems I encounter are,
There’s no memory of what you have done previously so you need to set up your tackle and bait every time.
The interface to set the rig and bait is clunky at best. All the rod options are a pain.
No option to change the free offerings without going through loads of options. For the different rods
The npc’s are disturbing. Probably best to just delete them from the game.
When you do get a bite, 3 buttons need to be pressed to strike!
Bail arm off/on. Doesn’t make a difference, caught loads of fish with what looks like bail arm open.
Could go on.
Best to just leave it well alone.
Ps. No updates for the game so never going to get better.

The game is good I enjoy playing it and love going after the named fish I find the game fascinating and it’s not a game where you can just cast and catch it really is like carp fishing you can wait up to hours and you will need to know what works well and what doesn’t for different venues however if you don’t have a lot of time this game isn’t for you as it is a game that requires time and patience apart from that it is a amazing game and has definitely been the first choice of games to stop me from being bored

Clunky, horrible system to navigate, game play is shocking. You cannot seem to purchase coins needed for bait and tackle, this is necessary to play and impossible to achieve! I had to google instructions on how to play as there is no tutorial and the controls are absolutely spasticated!

Crap fishing simulator
I loved the older version of this game but what can I say about this new version? It would be nice if there were actually some fish in these lakes to catch for a start. I’ve had this game from day one, lost all of my purchases from the older version and gradually got bored of playing this after waiting for what seemed like hours and catching nothing. I come back to this game from time to time and i’ve still caught absolutely nothing, where have the fish gone?

Although at first it’s tricky to understand as there’s no instructions to what your actually doing.. how to cast etc. But when you get the hang it’s a little more entertaining. Also you’ve got to be willing to spend money or it’s going to take forever to get to the decent tackle i.e bait boats and unlocking more lakes.

Just a few tweeks til perfect.
Great carp fishing sim, 95% perfect, just a few bits need to smooth over to be the perfect game. Would be good to interact with other players online as you walk round the lake. Ask if they’ve caught much etc. What baits are working well for them etc. Few little additions like that to make it even closer to reality would be good.
Still well worth the purchase and hope it keeps on improving.

V good but could do better
The App’s good but could do with a tension gauge to assist with playing the fish as you have no real feel and when you strike the fish there is no real response to the bite and strike. As a carp and cat fisherman I would expect the reel to scream off or the rod to react better.

So disappointed
I’d just got in to this game and started to enjoy it. I therefore spent around £12 buying venues so I could get a bit of variety. I was looking forward to fishing these new lakes, and even bought a bait boat to increase my chances. Then, overnight, the game is “updated”. Suddenly the only bait I can use is bread flake, all other, previously available baits, have disappeared and I now need to buy or earn them. The only rig I can use is now the hair, and yes, you’ve guessed it I have to earn or buy new ones. This kind of money grabbing is fairly common, but surely not on a game I’ve already paid £5 for? And as if that’s not enough, the further updates to the graphics May look “pretty” but are, in fact deeply questionable. I could go in to detail, but I’ll just mention one...you can no longer see where you cast! Enough said. I’ve given two stars, and that’s because I was enjoying the game previously and it has such promise. But treating existing, paying, players in this manner is, in my opinion, extremely poor and the fact that the game play has deteriorated just makes things worse.

Updates are few and far between and when they do finally appear they seem to have bugs. Bit of a problem for an app that you have to pay for. Shambles of a development company. Before the last two updates the app worked and I enjoyed it the problem with the new updates have made the game stop working when you go on fish here and press play it gets to 90% and stop the game then blanks and goes back to the home page on my phone

Now I don’t want to ruin this for you but if you have a iPhone six then it will constantly crash and sadly The longest I have been able to play on it before crashing is around 5 minutes

The motion controls are not good prob ok for computer wizz kids or computor game wizz kids ..maybe I might get hang of it ..given a year or two...if this is aimed at newbies to fishing then I think basic rigs and baits should be available for all ..once again take a look at 3D carp from quite a few years ago now but I bought it on cd ...u can deliver hook and freebies accurately time after time u get spodrod marker float etc all in ...to keep people interested in this type of game I think u have to give something for the money customers give not just use it to keep paying ! Still not had a bite on flake in June ? So I don’t think I’ll be getting a bait boat anytime soon colin one star my advise newbies don’t buy experts get down the lake it’s easier unless of coarse you fishing wraysbury

This is a really good fishing simulator, the fish shapes are well made, plenty of baits to use, not many rigs to pick from.. easy to play once you know how it works, but there’s only one down side to it and that’s the night fishing.. the flash light isn’t as bright very hard to see what where you’re walking and casting.. and when changing a peg on one lake it kicks you off!

Nearly brilliant
It’s a very good game but the spod rod never casts the same and changes distances even if the power bar is the same and even casts further then my rigs on half the power bar so can never accurately bait up.
Also when using the marker rod the gravel area on pine tree isn’t there anymore in one of the swims???

Good but not great just yet
A decent looking carp fishing simulator is the app of my dreams and this has the potential to make my dreams come true.
Easy to play and looks great. However the fish playing mechanics are not great and really lets this app down. When you get a bite reeling in doesn't seem to do anything regardless of what number what tension is set at. To high and the reel will make a squeeking noise and possibly snap the line but doesn't reel the fish in (you can reel in for a good minute and the fish hasn't budged) Too lower and it makes a clicking noise and again doesn't feel the fish in.
Have now worked out that you don't actually need to play the fish. Once you have striked and the fish is on you can put your phone down and eventually the fish swims straight into your net without you having to reel in at all?????
As a carp fisherman myself and as probably many others are we know the fight is the best bit and sadly this is where this app falls flat on its face, which I'm really gutted about because everything else is great.
Please please please spend some time on developing the fish catching part of this app. Need some sort of line tension bar, the fish needs to react to what you are doing with your reel, and the fish movement needs to be a bit more realistic.
Haven't given up on you guys tho as I like what you are trying to do. Tight lines

Lots of potential
The mechanics and graphics are good and give this game a simulating feel. There are a number of lakes to fish on, which are challenging to unlock if you are patient enough to gain coins through catching fish. My issue is, the game possesses the foundations of something that could be very good, but the creators should have implemented more features, such as rod set up and things to work towards (incentives), rather than just unlocking lakes. Perhaps, earning enough coins to unlock baits and tackle, i.e method feeders and hooks. Better descriptions of the lakes too, tell us what fish are in the lakes and how big, so we have a better of idea of what we're fishing for. Given you can't actually feel the size of the fish when reeling in, it would be helpful to have some sort of indicator of line tension during the fight, sometimes the line does snap when the number is too high (you have a choice from 1-10). It's almost like playing a prototype version of the game, it feels pretty bare and although it's only for mobile devices, I still think it could be better if more things were added. But don't get me wrong, I'll keep playing!

Great fishing Sim
Recently started playing this Sim. It's very good and although there are in app purchases, you can play easily without it.
Though it's alway good to support developers.
You won't catch fish every couple of minutes, but this is the sae as real fishing. The graphics are good and there is lots of scope for this game to be developed. More equipment, venues etc.
The gameplay is smooth and it's easy to figure out what to do.

Over all good
Been playing this for around 3 years now . New update has landed and it's nice to have new venues to try out . I had hoped for more fun things to buy with the coins we earn , such as custom rods , mats bait etc . Also bug on marina the net ends up catching the fish in the middle of the decking and I can't look up or around
