Please add support for left handed people

When I as a left hanedd person use lightroom with the Apple Pencil, it is very annoying that I can’t have the edit panels over to the left. Please add support for moving main edit panels to the left for left handed people.

Totally useless

I used to have the free version but now have to pay as part of the cloud version.
I also keep all my photos in iCloud Drive which I can access on the desktop and laptop but not iPad.
I don’t have the memory on the iPad to download all the photos and why would I want to. It was for me a really good archive to check the images.
Now I will have to look for something else. I had already decided to give photoshop the heave-ho when my subscription is finished and Lightroom will go with it.
Luckily I still have an older version that still works
Just need to find a new filing system.
I have been with adobe from the very first photoshop and I bought all the family of programmes on cd back in the day.
But it’s time to say Goodbye.

So, you plod through all the processing until the pictures look good. Select them in grid view, tap share, select settings…and nothing happens.

Cloud trap

Pls increase the storage to something meaningful. The storage we r having to pay for is the size of a floppy disc in today’s terms. You should also allow to purchase software rental without the cloud and provide the option to save projects to our cloud of choice and that ‘s deliberate strategy to push people to spend more om cloud.

What happened?

I was always happy with the features open to non-paying users, it was professional and enough to suit basic editing needs.
I open my app again a few days ago and suddenly everything is only usable for people who pay for expensive yearly subscriptions. This is unbelievable, not even the absolute basic light editing seems to be possible without paying. I might as well use my built-in photos editing tools instead, its the same but free.
I don’t understand why an app doing so well must completely eradicate its accessibility like this, and so suddenly. It seems as though all it cares about now is the money, not its users.

Shockingly bad even for Adobe

It shocks me to the core that a service like Adobe, charging well over £50/MONTH, can only muster to create a mobile photo editing app as cumbersome, glitchy, slow, and all-round underdeveloped as this one. Just the process of applying a preset requires me to tap multiple times around the screen, having the UI glitch and not show the list, return me to the collection of folders rather than where I was on my last photo, and then require me to do it all over again for the next photo. Add to that that I have to export each photo individually because it all crashes when I try to do multiple, and it becomes so far away from what one would expect from someone who for some reason—God knows why—are considered an «Industry Leader».

Good app but misleading subscription plan info

The app works well and is intuitive to use. My only gripe is that in AppStore it offers a range of subscription plans but once downloaded it appears that you can only take the one Premium plan offering, which (surprise, surprise ) is the most expensive

Not suitable for pros support terrible

I made the switch from Adobe LR Classic to LR for iPad in the hope the process would be much quicker. I was terribly wrong. The upload process of more than 100 images is abysmal and fails repeatedly, once edited getting them out of LR is slow and painful and can take up to a day. I contacted Adobe support and it was an awful experience. Cases were repeatedly closed and with no contact from Adobe. Their advisors seemed to have never even used the software and simply reading from a computer on basic troubleshooting. After many years I think it’s time for me to cancel my Adobe subscription, like so many pros before me. Adobe need to stop leaning on their name and reputation and listens to the people who use this programme daily.

ONLY OFFERS THE MOST EXPENSIVE SUBSCRIPTION

Although the inapp purchases boasts lots of options from £1.99 per month this app only offers the 2 most expensive. I have complained to both Apple & Lightroom but neither want to accept responsibility for this. As Lightroom use this platform to sell their product it is surely their responsibility to see that the app works properly. If this is too difficult for them it doesn't say a lot about their software skills! I wonder how many other people have been overpaying for a level of cloud storage you do not need.? Why are Apple & Lightroom not communicating over this issue??

Don’t bother

Won’t save your progress and no manual save button means you’re relying entirely on it being able to upload to the cloud. Will erase hours of work just because you locked your ipad for 3 minutes.
Auto detect feature for masking is really inaccurate so you have to spend hours manually doing it.
Just get the photoshop app and do it that way.

Essential App but be careful how you subscribe

I signed up for the free trial ‘in app’ using my Apple ID. Subsequently downloading Lightroom to my MacBook I found this iPad/ iPhone subscription does not cover the laptop version. I had to cancel the free trial (fortunately in time) then take out a subscription on the Adobe website for the ‘Lightroom plan with 1TB’ (£9.98 a month which covers mobile use) using my Adobe sign in. I then had to sign out of my iPad and iPhone apps and sign back in using my Adobe account. And now everything is working fine and I’m very happy with the photo editing. It also works well with the recent Leica FOTOS app.
If you want to use Lightroom across devices, including laptop, then I suggest you don’t purchase ‘in app’ but via the Adobe website.

Almost subscribed

I have enjoyed using this app for a long time, I have got to a stage where I was considering subscribing to get the extra features, all I can say as I’m glad I updated before I made the jump. With the latest update the app is now sluggish when it comes to rendering, I also got the chance to try the new AI blur feature, 30 seconds to detect one image and blur the background, I can do this instantly in snapseed, select the focal point, blur amount, transition etc, I don’t need AI to slow the process down to half a minute thanks. I’m sure the other extra features will be just as underwhelming. I have the 2017 iPad Pro so it’s usually no slouch when it comes to intensive editing whether it be video, photography or music production. It’s a shame, I like a lot of the features in Lightroom but I could only pay a subscription on it if I could use it as my only tool for editing, especially when there are great free editors like snapseed around. Ruined by AI if you ask me, I want manual control, not some AI taking forever to try and guess what I want, not good enough.

Still no external storage access

While the app’s photographic editing experience- especially the AI enhanced features are 5 star worthy brilliant (especially on the M2 pro IPad ), I am giving a 1 star for Adobe’s pathetic restriction on ability to use external storage. Every other media editing app can do it except adobes apps - this is a deal breaker for me on the go. I don’t want to pollute or waste time on copying multi megabyte photos to my iPad. To make matters worse, adobe online storage prices are basically an extortion. I wonder why the EU is not suing adobe for intentionally disabling core app functionality allowed by the OS. I feel sorry for the Adobe engineers who lovingly created this editing experience - only to be severely crippled in one corner by corporate greed.

No external storage support is not for professionals

Adobe is severely limiting this app so that people buy their stupid and nonsensical online storage…
It doesn’t allow the use of external storage so you always need to add/save the pictures to the limited internal storage of the iPad which is useless for bigger shoots or cases where you take many images… also it means that once you finish editing a shoot and export that final edited images you have to delete them from the library to have space for the next shoot so you lose all your settings of the edit! How unprofessional, frustrating and backwards is this when it has been a feature since the first version of the original Lightroom?
I hate this app but Adobe has a monopoly on the sector and corner the customers. Shame on you Adobe, hate you and hope that a competitor comes out soon to create some competition so that you finally have to take care of the people that pay you… Shame

After performing masked edits the app frequently crashes and none of the work is saved . This is a very frustrating situation. I have tried re-loading the app, to no avail.
I have a very new iPad Pro 11 with lots of storage space available.

Needs The Ability to Create Duplicates

Lightroom mobile on the iPad is a great complimentary way to work with Lightroom Classic on a PC or Mac. I can work on my iPad and go and fire up the PC and take over from where I left off on the iPad.
In this respect it is a very powerful tool, but it’s profoundly lacking as a standalone application. This is especially the case with the awkward file system of iOS which can really add all manner of twisty-turny hurdles.
I can live with this being a stripped down Lightroom Classic, but what is hard to live with is the glaring omission of features present in this same Lightroom Mobile that is present in the desktop version in the form of the ability to create duplicates in the latter. The inability to create duplicates in Lightroom on the iPad makes life quite difficult. You can create different versions of the photos on the app but unfortunately these cannot be accessed in Lightroom Classic. This makes them effectively useless for many of us.
If Adobe can add this feature then they will have dramatically improved Lightroom mobile on the iPad. Until then it’s quite crippled. Otherwise it’s fantastic as the ability to use the Apple Pencil to edit is by far my favourite way to edit photos even when compared to using a Wacom Intuous Pro tablet on my PC.

iPads are marketed to replace laptops and to make life easier when you’re not at your Mac etc. But there’s no support for storing images externally, editing within the app and exporting them to external storage like you would using LrC on my Mac. So close!

This app is definitely brilliant. It’s as close to a usable Lightroom I’ve yet experienced on an iPad, and for that reason I re-subscribed to Adobe cloud. Editing on an iPad Pro or Air is really fun, with high quality results.
Two things would make it close to perfect for me…
1) Allow full colour controls in a mask. Especially colour mixing.
2) Enhance the features of the export module, especially to allow batch outputting with borders, and with customisable image size and settings.

Subscription fault

I am trying to purchase Lightroom but am only able to select the most expensive option. The £19.49 option can’t be found to select. I have spent 5 hour in chats and even phone calls, customer service is a joke, they offered me an option that was twice the price of the top option for the app. Then even tried to blame Apple stating that the app was on their site and nothing to do with them

Watch out for subscription clauses

The app is great. I’ve had a subscription for 3 years, paying 9.99 per month. After paying £350 pounds, I’ve found I’m not using it as much as I thought and want to cancel, but the subscription auto-renews silently (they don’t email you) and you sign up for another year. If you want to break in the middle of a year then you have to pay a cancellation fee of half the remainder of the year.
Beware.

Better than classic

UPDATE: December 2022
ADOBE! What have you done with healing? It was quick and easy to heal, now it is cumbersome and convoluted. It was fine before, why do you have to bugger about with things that worked fine. PLEASE FIX. WHEN ONE HAS A LOT OF HEALING TO DO THE RECENT UPDATE MAKES IT TOTALLY LABORIOUS.
Works superbly on my 10.5 iPad Pro. I only installed on my iPad Air 2 out of curiosity and was so rapt that I went and bought the iPad Pro. It actually works great on the Air 2 even when doing multiple edits and loads of de-spotting on my 5DS R raw files. I was amazed how fast the programme is. I have now gone fully mobile. I am a semi-pro photographer with 6000+ raw files. What I would like to see: Split toning access is cumbersome. Some UI elements need tweaking, for example you select the mask tool on the rhs and then have to choose which mask you want on the lhs. You make adjustments to the healing brush top right and then have to ok them bottom right. Group please Adobe. Apart from these minor UI tweaks I am very happy with LR mobile. This is the future of LR. I am really glad to leave behind classic as that is as fast as a two legged dog and I want to work fast, really fast.

Surprised by the positive reviews

The desktop app is great, the iPad app is still really poor. The search features are really poor - I can’t say find all photos taken on a certain date, many things take way too many taps (for example deleting a photo), when you press share the first time always fails, importing is not always reliable, I have lost data when Lightroom said photos are imported but they actually weren’t due to not enough space. Terrible :(

Landscape Photographer - Help

Great app, use the desktop version as part of my Adobe photography plan, now using this app on my new M1 iPad Pro, as a landscape photographer I bracket my shots for better exposure of sky and foreground, also do panos, this app badly needs merge to HDR and merge to PANO for landscape photographers to really enjoy using this app in the field, Please adobe help with these features soon, would make me a very happy creative cloud user.
P.S. this would be a 5 star review with these features added.

New masking program

I have had this a couple of weeks now , sufficient time to try it out and I am generally impressed , one fault though it does crash the program on the ipad now and again , still worth it.

It’s taken a while but…

…with the latest “masking” update this has finally starting being the mobile editing suite and library that I wanted. Certainly worth my money every month.
I would like to see object removal tools that are as good as those that Touch Retouch has included at some point, that’s probably the biggest miss for me. The clone / healing tool are not great in comparison.

Limited storage

Lightroom is obviously fantastic. I subscribed via the App Store and this is where my problem lies. It comes with 100GB adobe cloud storage. I asked Adobe how to increase and they said to contact Apple. I contacted Apple and they said contact Adobe. I cancelled due to that and thankfully had a refund. I shoot in raw and I’d not want to tie myself in with Adobe for a year hence my choice of subs. No where near enough storage for me and no way of apparently increasing , or maybe there is but Adobe was not interested.

Generally good

My main complaint is that the heal brush is pretty poor on even an M1 iPad, it’s slow and difficult to work with. I would prefer something more like desktop Photoshop’s heal brush, the outlines and draggable points are distracting in LR.
I would also like the ability to edit in programs such as Pixelmator and have it save back to the LR library, which would also solve this problem, as Pixelmator’s heal brush is nicer.

Please fix the new ‘Edited’ RAW files bug!

An old bug which was fixed some time ago has been reintroduced: when importing images from an SD card directly into the iPad/iPhone app, RAW files are all marked as ‘Edited’, despite no import presents being used.
I use this app on two different iPads every day. This bug was originally fixed last year, but has now been reintroduced in a recent update and hasn’t been resolved since. It makes sorting properly edited images for export extremely frustrating. Please fix it (again!)

Only one Monthly Subscription Available ???

The App Store page shows a variety of subscriptions in the “In-app” purchases section , none of which are available in the app apart from the £4.49 per month offering. Also it shows TWO premium yearly 40GB offerings - both at different prices! Highly confusing. you need to be more clear on what a subscription gets you and what you can then use it on - eg If I went with £4.49 a month 100Gb - I cannot use that on my Mac !! Instead i have to get £9.99 a month to use on the Mac & iPad but get LESS storage!!!!

Waste of time

I got this for my new iPad Pro to hopefully ease the time to edit my photos.
There is no way to rename files in bulk and when saving to files on iPad it loses its original time stamp as a photographer on the go I thought using Lightroom for the iPad would be easier to use and easier to carry around but this app is pointless to me. Back to the desktop version :( I am not happy with this.
With iPads and laptops only steps away from doing the same thing you would automatically think that the iPad versions would do the same as a desktop version!!

App is great but has many bugs.

I use Lightroom to edit all my photos on my iPad Air 4. The app is great apart from when you use it with multiple selective edits. This is a pain because i use selective edits a lot and the issue at hand is that multiple uses of the selective edit tool and the healing brush causes the app to slow down. the brush starts lagging and the app becomes completely unusable. It freezes for minutes, and you wait to see if the app has crashed or if it is going to work. Ive tried all solutions and this was a known issue it seems back in 2018, but for me yet is to be fixed.

Can’t stand this subscription business

If you had only made it a single payment for the premium version, I would have gotten it even for £20. But pay monthly for an app, I am afraid that’s a no no for me. Since that’s the case, I am not even going to explore the app any further than my basic usage. Otherwise, good job on the app.

Left hand

I use Lightroom for photography and I do small Edits on my iPad but I don’t use it much on the iPad just because the editing column is on the right hand side and I edit using my left hand so to edit is a bit awkward on the iPad, is there an option that I can move the editing panel to the left? I tried to look for the options but didn’t find any.

What the *#@! is Adobe up to?

I can’t write a positive review because :
• it has to be written in black text on a black background… genius!!
• After retaining the LR for iPad app when I got rid of the full Adobe CC subscription, I thought I’d re-subscribe to the premium features of LR (iPad), but after paying through the App store, the app decided it could/would not accept the payment & would not let me access the premium features.
At least if no money is taken within the next 7 days, I’ve lost a ‘Stately Home’ — **** ‘all 🤬🤬

We NEED a white background

I’ve been asking adobe to do this for years. When professionals are editing for web, most of the time we edit against a gray or white background to replicate what it will be shown against on a web page. Having Black as a background is no good for most publications. Having the ability to have a white editing background is a MUST and I can’t believe adobe still haven’t implemented this. Surely it can’t be that hard.

Not bad...

So I got this for the iPad Pro hoping it would work the same as on PC I use at work for editing portraits, it’s very fluent and gives me similar overall results, however there are some tools misssing that would stop me transferring to the pad version full time, there is no brush tool, no skin softening (this can be worked around but the effects cant be limited to specific areas) I have used several free apps like face tune or airbrush that offer this ability, hopefully updates will improve the tools offered, overall I am happy with the app.

Bril apart from no hdr / pano merge

I’m using this on my iPad Pro early 2020 version and I can say so far there is little difference between this and the desktop version apart from some missing features of which I use all of the time, hoping they come in a later release, but apart from that I’m also liking how they haven’t just copied the desktop version and that all of the features that has been added has been redesigned from what I can tell to use everything the iPad has to offer, definitely worth a try, but seriously when is it getting pano and hdr merge, I use these all of the time, seriously don’t want to copy the photos to my laptop, install them in lightroom do the merge only to have to move them back to my iPad, I would like to use the iPad for all of my photography edits that means I have one place I can keep and store all of my photos, so far i can do almost all of that.

Not nearly enough

I’ve tried for the past month working on photo development purely on iPad Pro and I have found it increasingly frustrating. Many features available on the desktop version are not on the mobile app. While I realise this is for mobile devices, the inconvenience is not worth it. If all you are doing is developing to upload to Instagram for likes then this may we’ll be for you, but if your serious about photography stick with a good laptop/desktop, and use Lightroom classic instead.

Direct load

Being able to load photos from a compact flash card from a DSLR directly into Lightroom on an iPad is really useful and takes us one further step forward to not needing to carry a laptop.

Terrible customer service

The app itself is good, some issues but overall fine. The problem is the customer service which is appalling, you get asked the same questions over and over again, they don’t listen and clearly do not understand what they are doing unless it is part of the script. So if you don’t experience any issues it is a good app but hope and prayer that you don’t need the support. It is also interesting to note that you cannot raise a complaint, I suspect based on my experience that to allow this function would cost too much

Fatally flawed - limited outputs

So there are some great features in Lightroom for iPad, in fact it’s as good a management and editing app as the desktop version, but it has a fatal flaw for any sort of serious workflow, and yes, you can have serious workflows on an iPad. When you want to export images it only exports jpegs, or raw files one by one.
This makes it unusable in so many ways. Want to do some serious editing?Want to archive? Want to do some printing? You won’t be doing it with Lightroom for iPad. It’s so frustrating as it is clearly done deliberately by Adobe to lock you in to Creative Cloud. I actually stopped using Adobe products a few years ago for exactly this kind of aggressive business tactic, but i like to give things another go once in a while. Glad i tried it again, but have since deleted it. Will stick with Apple Photos and Affinity Photos, as whilst managing photos with Photos is a pain, at least i can edit, archive and print in ways that don’t compromise the output quality or my backups.

Here we go again.

It’s a shame that such a great photo app is blighted and ruined again with a compulsory subscription.
And yes, I know you can use a basic version free. I’m not asking for ‘Free’, I would merely like to be able to use the full range of features without having to pay a monthly fee.
I do not need to use this app constantly; just when I need to edit and manipulate images. £4.99 monthly is unacceptable.
I would much rather pay a one off cost of perhaps £20, or even a separate payment to unlock each feature that I require, as and when I require.
The developers of this type of editor seem to aim it at professional users who use it on a daily basis. Thereby making a lot more money. That system discriminates against the casual user.
I don’t suppose this will make the slightest bit of difference, but at least it did me some good to express my displeasure.

Desktop replacement?

So far I’m loving the lightroom app on my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9.
Such a massive power boost from my mid 2014 MacBook Pro.
Once I had reorganised my photo library to allow for the changes caused by moving to the iPad I found this software to load and edit raw images super quick and easy. Can’t recommend the photography plan enough.
I do have two things preventing a 5 star review.
1. Export options really need updating, I’m really not comfortable with not having control over the quality and colour space settings for jpeg export. I shoot raw and use a p3 screen for a reason and the mandatory sRGB exports aren’t suitable.
2. Photoshop app and integration. Sometimes I need to use photoshop for more complex edits and not having a true photoshop app is a pain in the backside. Promised 2019 for the app launch and its already % months into the year. Also integration could be better. I shoot raw and when I transition to PS I want to edit the latest raw image not some cut down jpeg copy of it.
These options are fundamental in the desktop versions and are really important to professional workflows.
Otherwise very promising for the future

Needs To Update Service Agreement :-(

Downloaded this photo editor as it was only one that did not advertise itself using glamour photographs of female models. Actually, there was another that was sexism-free but it offered only to make collages and advertised itself using doggie pictures which was too twee to even consider.
Downloaded app then forced to register before able to try it. To register you are required to read ‘terms and conditions’. I did. The intrusion into my privacy is just unacceptable. I halted registration and deleted the app unused.
This is obviously an app stuck in the past when abuse of user data was an industry standard. Someone tell them its 2019!

Great app however

This app is great for touching up on any photo i need to however when it comes to time lapse i can not seem to figure out how to do it (if possible) on the desktop version it is simple to make a time lapse from lots of interval timed pictures however i now have no desktop and switched to iPad assuming Lightroom would be the same but it really isn't. I tried to google for help but didn't get anywhere apart from that everything else is great!

Take the leap from Lightroom Classic!

Lightroom on the iPad and the iPhone are incredible. Whilst CC has been a new experience coming from Lightroom Classic, the freedom afforded by having this power on the go makes this switch well worth it.
Recently on a two week trip, I managed all my photos with just an iPhone XS and the SD card reader. Each day I knew my photos were backed by and I could be filtering my shots whenever I had a free moment on the subway.
If you are considering taking the leap from Classic, I would encourage you. The freedom l the go, and the simplicity of the cloud managing all your photos is transformative to my photography process.
Two things I would like to see change which would take this review to 5 stars.
1. USB-C support for the iPad Pro. The current process of importing to photos and into lightroom is completely pointless for me, and I can’t see why it would be helpful.
2. More presets and filters. For on the go management, quick access to go reliable filters and presets is important. The current presets are a good start, but I would love to see more. Sounds like a great opportunity for Adobe to collab with some well known photographers and have them develop presets for Lightroom CC.

Straightforward but highly effective

For a while I’d got a bit lazy in photography, shooting in JPEG, just applying filters in Apple Photos app. But I’ve decided to switch my Olympus back to RAW mode and was looking for a simple but powerful photo editing package that I could use on my iPad. Having experimented with a very powerful but overly complicated multilayer photo editor, I decided to revisit Lightroom, which I used to use on a Mac. So far, I love it! The editing is easy and effective, quick and convenient. I wish it was available to plug into my Apple Photo library rather than seeming to want to replace the photos but so far I am managing to work around that!

RAW upload not working anymore

It’s a really fab App and I have loved using it ...but ....since the last App update which coincided with the Apple Mojave Upgrade, I cant upload RAW files now from my synced photo albums to Lightroom.
This is the function the subscription pays for. It will upload JPG files but I can do that for free without upgrading and paying for it.
I’ve had 3 hours of call time with Adobe and an hour with Apple Care and no one knows what the issue is.

My ideal DAM solution

I switched to Lightroom from Aperture when Apple stopped development. Now I’m a total convert as it provides my ideal solution for not only managing photos but as a mobile solution. I upload photos from my Canon 5DMkIII onto my iPad Pro and then import to Lightroom mobile. Edits made etc are not on;y available locally but when I return from any holiday trip etc all the assets are already in Lightroom Classic CC and all the tagging/rating and edits are there. It saves so much duplication of work. Regards Neil Skipper

Fundamental flaws

Sync is broken, if you open Lightroom on another secondary device when there is a partially synced album on your primary device it will delete the photos from that album both locally on the primary device and in the cloud.
Do not keep your *only* copy of photos in Lightroom cc they may disappear due this bug, or given the lack of quality control this implies other bugs still to be found.
Edit: 7 July 2018
Adobe have been very helpful discussing this issue, the causes the workarounds and their plans to address the underlying problem - which was caused by an iOS install ‘cloned’ from a backup.

No parity with the desktop app!?

I’m enjoying this app quite a bit. It’s refreshing to be able to edit photos on the go on files backed up to my CC account.
Things that annoy me:
Curves and split tone are available in the app on iOS but not on the desktop app...
Switching between the tools on the right side bar is frustrating. You have to tap a done or close button at the bottom of the screen. Why can’t you just tap onto another tool? Seems like a simple UX thing, and can’t think of any reason why it’s not possible to allow this.
Exporting photos is limited to 15 at a time. You have to remember where you selected to. Would be nice to at least select batches and do them sequentially.

Almost there

Thank you for listening to your customers and re-enabling Speed Review!
Latest updates are great and while I still prefer doing adjustments on my Mac, you can get pretty far with developing images on the go now.
Being able to edit title and caption is also a welcome addition, just needs keywords and the option to bulk edit that meta data, so all the boring work can easily be done during a commute or downtime.

Restored my faith in iPhone photography

I had long given up interest in using my iPhone for photos. While I enjoy VSCO cam and Snapseed, I just never loved the results using the iPhone camera. Having manual control of exposure in Lightroom Mobile has made iPhone photography fun again. If you are familiar with using Lightroom, the editing options available are very easy to use. I am having a blast with this app.

Great... but !

Use this above desktop for edits. A must have with a cc account. Actually preferred the old I/f on the iPad, but getting used to it now.
Workflow for subsequent publishing to social media or Flickr is key for me and this has to wait for my return to the desktop.
Also would be useful to have a raw file import mechanism for urgent field work.

Nearly there

Good update this time. Culling images is super easy and editing on iPad Pro is now well worth doing. It's much better not to have to carry a laptop everywhere.
Not sure about controls in the sidebar - I quite liked them at the bottom of the screen so there was more space for the image. The addition of brushes, global sharpening and noise reduction are very welcome. I just wish there was a spot removal tool within the app. It's still frustrating to have to use another app or open the image on a desktop or laptop in order to get the job done.

Speedflagging - thank you

Update - a welcome return of speed flagging/rating. A feature I really did miss. However, my comments on layout still stand. The older version was more user friendly on an iPad screen. Perhaps have it as an option?
------------------------------
As others have stated, this was removed in the latest update and was easily my most used feature
The new layout mimics the desktop, but at the expense of massively reducing the size of the image you're working on. This makes it almost unusable. The adjustment brush is a nice feature, but if I'm doing this seriously I'd do it on my desktop.
I get the impression they're not sure what this app is supposed to be. Is it a complete mobile editor to compete with other apps, or is it an extension of Lightroom CC. They're currently falling between the two and getting the worst of both worlds
