I keep being asked to move to the “new” Vinted. Have followed the instructions but it’s like going round in a circles. I’ve uploaded an item to sell but it seems to have disappeared. Can’t keep trying and getting the same answer. Not going to bother anymore. There are plenty of other platforms.

The way you receive payment after selling items is really confusing and I sold an item, the buyer received it but their was no option to pay me ??? So now I just haven’t received any payment for an item and their seems to be nothing I can do about it.

I was owed a refund last week and it never came I was shocked at first so I decided to wait a few days maybe it came late but nope still nothing I decided to contact the team, nobody it’s taking it seriously and they’re wasting my time it’s just pathetic.

Do not use this app if you don’t want to be scammed out of money!

Bought a jumper off this app and the tracking details from Hermes would not update. The app told me to wait 21 days for a refund. It came to that day and the tracking details updated saying that it had been delivered to my parcel shop. Obviously didn’t think anything of it as it said it was delivered and the app had never been wrong before when it had said that. I was out of my area for the next couple of days so after 4 days I went to go and collect it and it wasn’t there... I checked on the tracking and it had not been delivered despite what the app said. Opened a claim to get my money back as it has been lost by Hermes and because I didn’t report the issue within 48 hours (because it had told me it was delivered I just assumed that it was, as you would) they are refusing to give me my money back. SO PLEASE DONT USE THIS APP IF YOU DONT WANT TO LOSE OUT

you don’t get your money until the buyer marks as received.. so it’s the easiest way to scam people for sure! sold an item, sent with first class shipping but the buyer never marked it as received so i lost my item and got no money- while they had the item and got a full refund. customer service is horrendous, cannot get through to contact them anywhere. DO NOT USE VINTED

I used to quite like Vinted because of the no seller fees although waiting for payment was long. Now the new update meaning you have to download a second app is really frustrating because it just doesn’t work. The notifications still come through on my old app still, and the new app is exactly the same anyway.

I was selling an item on Vinted, and everything seemed to be fine until i had actually sold the item. Once you’ve sold an item Vinted is responsible for creating a transaction so you get paid. BUT when i sold my item Vinted never created a transaction so i lost a hefty amount of money all because of this awful app.

DO NOT SELL ON VINTED FOR RISK OF LOSING YOUR MONEY.

THIS APP IS HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT USE DO NOT USE. The customer service is so bad if you sell anything and the item doesn’t get to the customer ( happened to me 3 times with over £50 as Hermes kept stealing my necklace packages) THERE IS NO EMAIL OR PHONE NUMBER TO USE, Meaning you cannot get your money back!!!!! It’s so difficult with only automated replies.

I absolutely hate this app I’m out of pocket on 3 transactions with no money and angry customers with no items !!!!

Used this to get rid of baby stuff and clothes, ran into issues with buyer who after receiving goods wanted further discount, then said she binned items. Contacting customer service is a nightmare, automated replies that won’t get you anywhere, no one will take the sellers side so be careful.

Sell small and cheap, otherwise big ticket items will get conveniently “binned” and you won’t get paid.

Absolute scam pool, masquerading as an “online marketplace”.

Buyers & sellers beware! Vinted support is atrocious to almost non-existant, so don’t expect help or a straight answer from them if something goes wrong buying or selling.

My verdict? Go back to e-bay & save yourself the time & hassle that these guys will cause you

Overall a good place to sell clothes with no seller fees, easy to use and not had any issues with sales (have sold around 20 items). But since the new app update I am suddenly getting all correspondence in French?!? How do I change this back to British English? I can’t be the only one having this issue!
