You really need to monitor the ads in your game

If you have any control over the type of ads shown in your game, you really need to remove some immediately. If you go to the purchase gems/coins panel, you can collect 3 x 10 gems or 3 x 50 coins per day. To do this, you have to watch a promo video, usually they are promoting other games. Numerous times I note lots of gambling games, promoting a false story that you can earn lots of money simply playing a game of some sort, and this is deposited into your paypal account. The worst one was the game ‘ My Fantasy: Choose your story ‘ which is for ages 17+. It asks you to select an outfit for a BDSM party and which ‘toy’ you would like to take with you, which the woman, in her newly worn ‘outfit’ then proceeds to use!! Videos like this should NOT be shown on Midnight Castle, which states it is for ages 4+. I suggest this issue is looked into. It’s pretty discraceful.

Great game. Very addictive just wished it rewarded better. When you have three zones to open and need 24,000 coins it takes forever when you only get 50 coins per room. Even so you’ll love this game.

Great game love it. Only play for about an hour a day. Therefore not costing anything at all. Do not want to be sat in front of a screen all day. Lots of other things todo. I like the timings, it adds to anticipation. So far nothing has gone horribly wrong. Now on Level 47.

Has it run its course?

I’ve played this game for several years, but in the last couple of years it’s slowly become repetitive and dull in its approach. The seasonal challenges are just rehashes of older ones, and it feels generally that there is little interest in updating the way it operates. Now it doesn’t even prompt when a new season starts, only found out about Halloween when I wondered where it was and found it had an update in the App Store. I've played this game for 5 years and love it, I enjoy the great graphics and getting onto new levels. I have been unable to get the game on my iPad the last three days. I have been playing this for about 5/6 years and I love it. The last update doesn’t Gel with me though it’s like the developers haven’t finished completing the update and you’ve got flashing lights and square boxes instead of sparkles when an area is ready to play it’s spoiling the game for me so I won’t be going on it as much. What have they done to the graphics? Pt 2

Oops! Just posted a review complaining about the new graphics but it looks like there was an update to the game that hadn’t installed. Updated it through the app store and now it’s back to graphics that don’t cause a migraine! Still irritated by the number of times you think you are going up a level only to find the last challenges need you to get 8000 coins or more for each of them.

I’ve gone into the game this morning and it looks like there has been some sort of update. It’s completely messed up as you go in there are squares flashing over the top each section and the portals have a shadow in them. It’s now impossible to play and the visual disturbances could affect anyone sensitive to flashing lights. Please get it sorted.

What has happened to this game

I have enjoyed this puzzle over 4 years. Coincide with Os update on ipad today, I find the once beautiful artworks now ruined by opaque moving white squares and totally unnecessary plumes of white moving clouds and mists. There are moving graphics ontop of moving graphics, its now truely a hideous mess and impossible to play and enjoy and definitely no longer a relaxing feel.

Soo disappointed, would request a removal of all this aweful stuff but no doubt developer thinks it an enhancement.

I have been playing this for about 2 yrs now and have reached level 56, I am now getting really really bored with waiting for the plain stamps to appear to complete each ‘quest’. I loved this game to start with, lots of amazing graphics and new areas opening up all the time, but I've now been playing this for months and realising now that the new areas need you to get loads of cash, which is thousands of times playing the same areas. The response to tapping some items takes two or three times to accept, and in the dark mode can take a long time, and my fingers ache sometimes having to tap the screen 40 times to clear it. And now of course the buying of coins has arrived! Such a great game but can't play as much as it takes so long to get anywhere and my fingers can't hack it

Up to Level 93 and can proceed no further since am informed update required to continue. This for the last two weeks (from end of August. Have tried to update in App Store with no success. At least I now have over 100k gold coins if it ever does update! Reviewed at 1/02/2020. Now at level 95 with over 300k coins, but the updates keep taking longer to come. Have they lost interest?

Have been playing for a long time now about 3 years. With lengthy waits between new releases I do sometimes take a break. This week following once such break on returning there was quite a lot to download which was fine and the game had moved on a little which is great. Played happily for a while before bed. Next day and since then I have not been able to get back on, the game hangs at the opening screen.

If you have not played this before and are able to open it then I recommend it.

Fantastic game!!

I have been playing MC for nearly 2 years now. There is so much to keep you interested that it’s impossible to be bored. Not only do you have the character quests to work through but there are also mini games and special events. Also there are daily quests to complete with 24 hours, but you don’t have to do these. There are over 100 achievement to work towards to gain special prizes or a special avatar. You win coins and items by completing a hidden object scene, but also have the opportunity to win more by playing mini games: cards, slot machine or roulette table. Also can complete jigsaw puzzles to try to win 3 items of your choice. The special events are fantastic as you have the opportunity to win a LOT of coins and prizes by completing HOS in a special room. We have just finished the 5 year anniversary event, Halloween is coming up, then Thanksgiving, Christmas and finally Spring event. You can do as few or many as you wish, if at all. Also there is a separate 30 day event, which consists of a different challenge a day. I don’t do these as they take up a lot of time and coins/items and you only get an avatar after every 10 completed challenges.

On top of all this, the scenes and illustrations are amazing! Really colourful and detailed. I LOVE this game, I play most days for a while but it’s a game you don’t have to rush. You can buy coins and jewels which can be very expensive, but if you aren’t in a rush, you don’t have to purchase anything. Thoroughly enjoying this game! Now looking forward to the Halloween event!!

I absolutely LOVE this game and I play it to relax. I dropped a star because it would improve gameplay tremendously if I could sell the Shards. I don’t use them at all, but after completing a room, I get pretty fed up when I’m gifted a shard instead of something useful. Please allow us the choice to sell them, even if it’s a low price. I am always behind with cash, so it wouldn’t make a difference. Also, items have to be continually tapped sometimes before they move, very irritating. However, this is still the best app in its class - hands down!

Good start but drags on

I really liked this game at first but just when you think you will get to the next part of the castle it asks you to find all these other items. I'm sticking with it just to see how long it takes to get somewhere else but it is taking sooooooo long.

Enjoying the Game

I’ve been playing this for about three years now and got to Level 60. I see I now need a lot of coins to get through to higher levels, but they can be made from other sources from just the Hidden Object Puzzles. Pets often bring you a lot, morphing objects give the out sometimes, you might win something on the Fortune Wheel which you can sell, you can sell surplus objects you have collected, you might get them from Daily Achievements, especially when you awarded a Treasure Chest, your Secret Room gives them out. There is in fact plenty of variety in the game. I find I do need to but diamonds from time to time if you want to take part in the Special Events, but you can still progress without taking part and without spending any money.

I love this game! The rooms are beautiful and the further you progress the more there is to do. The repetition is a bit tedious at times while you wait for something new to arrive. The seasonal changes are interesting. I have spent many happy hours playing this game.

I’ve played this now for about 6 months; I’m enjoying the game but don’t always play the quests, doesn’t really matter as you can still move on and progress. The trick for me is to just play the hos as many times as possible to collect as many coins and objects as possible. Even if this game (and it possibly could) takes years I’m very happy to play, just bear in mind it’s not a game to rush, but relax through. The scenes and characters are amazingly. I love this game, thank you.

I was never successful with Hidden Object games but this one was brilliant. For a start I could press anywhere on the screen without it being deleterious to the game. Next, I can play over and over again with no problem. And finally, I love the ability to give and receive gifts from friends. In fact, I play the game until I am stuck and then I wait for time to run on. So far I have never needed to spend anything extra, which is also excellent.

Love this game. Hate the blacked out hidden object scenes. So annoying.

Wish you could swop diamonds for coins and some of the achievements don't merit the paltry rewards. But is the best free game around. The graphics are amazing and there is always something to do.

Great game!

I have been playing this game for well over a year now, up to level 78. I found it highly addictive at first, and I'm not a gamer. Great characters, scenes and seasonal extras keep it interesting. Crashes occasionally and loses an hour's play which is very frustrating. On balance a great game, no need to buy anything if you have a little patience.

My current favourite

I've tried lots of different games for iPad and this one stands out for having held my interest for several years. There are no penalties for not logging in every day and the quests are broken down into lots of smaller tasks which adds a bit of variety. Progress can feel quite slow at times and the hidden object scenes can feel repetitive, though new ones are added regularly and the old ones are changed occasionally.

I love this game and I would have loved to give it 5 ⭐️ but it's only 4 as I can't connect to Facebook and as a result I had to start at the very beginning when I upgraded my phone recently. I was gutted as it's taken ages to get to the stage I was at. Fix this and I'll happily change my rating.

Great game with beautiful graphics

Thanks to Big Fish for making an enjoyable game. I rarely buy anything with real money, so things can get a bit repetitive trying to save up enough to progress, but that's fair enough. The graphics are great.

Great game played for a few months but I do think your trying to slow are progress with the number of tickets or coins higher the levels more coins needed come on play fair

Great game

Keep playing the game and collecting gold and jewels and you will find that you do not need to pay for anything. It can be a bit frustrating waiting for updates but you can collect plenty of money whilst waiting.

Castle Challenge

Lately I have become fed up with the amount of time I have to spend to gain enough money to do anything. Not so bad if there are other tasks to do for the characters but often the only progress is to wander aimlessly around trying to get rich!

Glad to have another update. Hope it lasts longer than the last one.

Miss

I love this game, played it for nearly 2 years and I still log in everyday, just to collect coins, diamonds etc. Just wish it would update quicker, I'm stuck on level 76 waiting for the update....finally it's updated

Addictive and frustrating

Addictive because you want to get to the end of the quest but frustrating because it can be too repetitive at times. Very cleverly designed though and worth wasting your time over.I am still playing it 6 months later! Not as much as before but I just need to know how it all ends. It is a good game to have kept me going this long. Will I ever get to the end! Watch this space!

can't play this game after updating its frozen on the app its says waiting all the time please sort this game out plus I change from one iPad to another and I have had to start all over again😡😫😞

Since they have repaired this game it has been brilliant it just gets better and better with each new update 😀🤡☺️
