Form Over Function
I'm sorry to say that I really dislike the new Classic Rock app and have not renewed my digital subscription because of it.
The main reason for my dislike is that the ability to zoom is disabled on many of the pages and this drives me completely bonkers! One of the joys of reading digital magazines is to be able to zoom and pan to your heart's content, whether it be to comfortably view text or enlarge photos. The 'snazzy' new format seems to randomly disable this and I have no idea why, but it's an epic fail in my book.
I also do not appreciate the degree of multiple scrolling that is required to view further text, particularly within small breakout boxes where it is very easy to miss hidden content due to the need to scroll sideways within the box. Finally, any enhanced content is simply not worth having at the moment.
If you can bring back the simple navigation and zoomability of the original app, then I will return, as it's a great magazine, ruined by an overly-flashy app.

Great app, easy to use, all the articles are to my fingertips and makes reading the magazine extremely easy. Loads better now with TeamRock

Classic Rock.
Great magazine when the app works! I cannot download the latest issue even after trying all sorts of fixes that usually work. Contacting Team Rock doesn't help either, even when they do eventually decide to get back to you. Having even worse problems with their Metal Hammer app. Sort it out Team Rock!

Without doubt the best out there
I was pleased to see a swift iOS8 update and I can continue to read the new Classic Rock Mag. It's so user friendly, I love how it's been designed for iPad rather than just unloading plain pages to pinch and zoom. Great job Classic Rock.

Team Rock aren't v technical.
Considering that they changed the app earlier this year and knew ios8 was on the way they could well have tested this.
It's not working and I cannot access any of my issues inc the latest one. TeamProg seems to have managed ... Very disappointn

Awful money grabbers
Despite sending a copy of my iTunes receipt to reactivate my subscription I have still not been given login details. I should have given 0 stars because I haven't been able to use the app yet and have had to buy paper copies of the last two issues on top of my non working digital subscription

Forget it
Subscription never rolled over and no communication the first month. Phoned them, emailed screenshot to verify my subscription - it is blank was the reply. Even had a patronising reply from their help team.
This is one person feeling ripped off and I'll never buy the mag again. Left hand blame right hand BS - not worth one star IMHO.

Purchased one issue, first time I'd done so. Some pages 2 or 3 times and some missing! Not a great first experience.

Ignore the one star reviews. Problems easily sorted.
I had the same problem moving my subscription over. Contacted teamrock on the email address provided in the app and they sorted it. The problem is due to Apple's restrictions, not Teamrock's doing.
The new version of the mag itself is excellent. Easier to read and loads of interactive content.

Don't bother
Unable to verify existing subscription.
Just don't bother with this if you are an existing subscriber as it fails to recognise the fact.
The original app will remain until 2015 and is reliable. If you try and update app when advised to do so it takes you to a blank screen lol.
Really poor show and a lack of loyalty and respect to existing customers.

Ripped of badly
When to download latest. Told i need to update the app, selected update app opens App Store blank page then does nothing, had similar problems before which have been solved by uninstalling app and then reinstalling.
Reinstalled app, lost all my previous issues, having deleted old app which I can no longer reinstall I have lost all my issues, ripped of badly by failure to update properly.
would give it no stars for not updating then stealing my purchases but can't send without at least one star :(

I am unable to verify my subscription in the new app. So, I can't download the new issue without paying again - in either the new app or old app.
