What has happened to my favourite game!!
This version of it is horrendous, no rewards, impossibly difficult levels with no chance to progress. A once favourite game is now the worst to play. Looks like I’ll have to give up altogether.

No longer fun to play
I have been playing this game every day for almost 4 years and, up until recently, enjoyed it. Then there were big changes to the games that make it almost impossible to progress through a city. It is almost as though it the game has become a money grabbing one. It is not possible to progress unless money is spent buying extra turns - a lot of extra turns. Making the three of a kind slows down but when extra turns are bought they speed up. The looking for chocolate bars, uncovering the jelly squares etc are ok to play in the extra side games, but completely boring in the main game. It is now become so frustrating to play I am considering deleting it and certainly would not recommend it to anyone. A great pity because in its original state it was a great game to play.

Theft on a grand scale
Download this game at your peril ! One of the worst games I’ve ever played. All the levels are fixed so you can’t win and the ‘ extra ‘ lives won from watching an advert , are fixed so they make no difference . The developers have made a game all about money , so unless you are rich , then don’t go anywhere near this game . Game deleted !

Aggressive Adverts
This a decent game which used to give you the option of viewing adverts for extra life rewards. Has recently changed to showing adverts in between games. Such a shame that this good game has been spoiled with aggressive adverts throughout.

Good game but adverts and crashing are a problem on iPad
Game has been excellent until the last few weeks. Whether there has been a recent update but all of sudden the game keeps crashing without warning losing progress, lives and extras - very frustrating. Seems to be either after an advert has finished or after completing a level, which is especially frustrating as that level is not saved and you have to start again. Annoying repeating adverts especially Royal Kingdom and Royal Match are now getting close to me cancelling the game - I will never download Royal Kingdom or Royal Match because of these adverts continually going on about no ads in their games. May be the case but there are too many ads in other developers games.

Great Game Spoiled by Royal Kingdom Ads
This used to be my ‘go to’ game but it has been spoiled recently by the high number of Royal Kingdom ads that last well over a minute each time they’re played. Looking at other recent reviews, I’m not the only one finding this frustrating - please sort!

Connecting to Facebook Friends
I love this game and play regularly with no issues. However, I know a number of my friends on Facebook who play but I am unable to connect with them. We have all deleted and re installed the game and have made sure we are connected on the Facebook connect. But still not able to play with each other. Why is this please it’s annoying.

I love this game but new changes are irritating. Sydney without the Opera House? Are you mad? And why on earth do I have to put up with that woman intruding at every turn? Lose her fast.

Plenty to do but is getting irritated with losing levels etc.
Am finding that currently the game is saving in the app and appears to have no problems but, when re-opening the app, I have to choose server saved or device saved game. So far I have lost up to eight levels, coins and completed sections on the drawing game on more than one occasion.
Until this morning there hasn’t been an update for the app. Not impressed to have lost progress on multiple occasions recently.

Love this game. Have been playing for a good few years now. This week things have changed.
Don’t play with music or sounds but every time I leave the app and go back in the settings have reverted to sound being on.

With great disappointment I find Gummydrop will not open .this is after four or more years od playing. I have rebooted, my internet connection is on and working. Used to be good
Played this for years and recently it has got much harder. It’s got to the point where it’s not enjoyable to play so time to play something else.
This games niche was that you could pick it up and put it down and fill a bit of time, now it’s a chore as you cannot complete a level unless you play it at least 6 times then the algorithm feels sorry for you and gives you a chance and makes it easier. This makes it unenjoyable after playing it for so long and feels like a kick in the teeth to it’s loyal players. Now all this nonsense of being in a tournament whether you like it or not then punished if you don’t do well, ridiculous and I really don’t care.
Download if you want but it appears to have lost it’s way now and and not as much fun

Can’t get free boosters
I love this game and I am happy to watch ads to get free boosters to help with difficult levels but, there is no cross in the top right hand corner after the ad has played. The only way to carry on is to restart the game so, I then have to watch another ad and have the same problem again! Please could you rectify this . It has only been happening for a couple of days. Everything worked well before.

Claim button wheel doesn’t work
Been playing it for years and all of a sudden the claim button doesn’t work and the world doesn’t work and the little bit of film you get to get other things free doesn’t work and I have to keep coming in and out of the game to actually play the game if I don’t touch anything then it will work, but then when you need the will and you touch it it freezes and nothing works. I have to come back out the game to go back into it getting very very fed up

Great Game
I have been playing for a few months. It is a great game, and, with only three "lives" and an hours wait until you get three more, it tends not to be a great time-waster. Only two small criticisms: there is only one way to increase your lives to five, which is to pay £6.99; and that the phrase is not "strike a match", it is actually "strike a light". I trust that the makers of this game will amend this as soon as the read this review.
A completely new game has been given to me. I am not pleased that this has happened, in the light of a lot of money “invested”
In the previous game. I think that this is shoddy behaviour for all the players of the game. At least, they should repay the investment for moving from 3 to 5.

I used to play gummy drop with my granny bet when I was younger, It wasn’t til a couple months ago I found the app just sitting there and I decide to start fresh and now I play it all the time, I love how the game works, I personally think we should be given more lives and the boots to be a little cheaper too , I really like this game and I would recommend it !

Lovely game.
I enjoy working out the rules of the movement of each game.
I know to take note of the targets to be achieved.
I know why I don’t always get a lightening strike from a row of five of the same colour gummy!
I regularly transport resources between ports.
My husband likes to help me. And often plays games for me.
It took some time to work out some of the tules, but it was worth persevering.
Comments on the various castles and monuments are sometimes inane.
Some of the timed games are borderline impossible. There is usually a need for extra time and spending coins.
I have problems with white backgrounds with white dots marking Bombs on white gummies. Not easy to for me to see.
I understand the graphics in Casablanca but the joke wore very thin.
I love the various towns and cities. The graphics are amazing and I often then do personal research on some history and geography that interests me.
I don’t always know what country I am in ! But I usually find out.
The method of transportation between countries always makes me smile.

My go-to game
Thank you so much for a great educational game. I love travelling around the cities and learning about buildings and customs.
Some of the levels have felt impossible at times and then one day, they have changed and become possible.
I second what someone else has said - it would be nice to be able to send some coins to another user ID to help them along.
My biggest bugbear (which is why 4 stars, not 5) is that it takes a ridiculous amount of time to go and collect resources from previous cities and then find a resource port to send to your current city. It would be nice to see all the resources and ports on one page.
Interactions with the service desk, when I’ve had issues have always been resolved well.
I prefer the new spinning wheel to get an extra turn or two if needed.
I love the 30 minutes of lightning bolts or whatever treat we get from time to time. It’s far nicer than infinite lives to me. Great addition team!

Enjoyment
Over 1200+ days so love playing this game, making me think about what to do and what to play. Love going to different countries and places , interesting me to visit if possible. Would like an option to revisit a site to do again as made a couple of choices on building I would definitely change. Loads of warning when your rewards are available and how to build up your new location.
Love seeing what new games and costumes come up in the different seasons.

A spoiled game
I used to love this game and have been playing it for years. However now they have a weekly , oh so boring tournament which, because you are allowed to play any level , can only be won if you have found a level which you know you can win a high percentage of the time. Any request to have an opt out facility is received ever so politely with the assurance that the idea will be passed to the developers. Needless to say it is ignored . Along with the fact that a lot of the fun has gone with their making levels so difficult that they can only be won by purchasing boosts etc means this is a game not to be recommended.

Still my fave game after 10 yrs
Yes it's true sometimes you lose your progress, yes sometimes you get 30 coins instead of 60, yes it's true that you cannot request lives from others or watching adverts can still mean you lose a life instead of gaining one. Still I haven't spent a penny in 6 years why? Because I have become good at the game, I know when to play (the levels are easier at certain times) they know when you are at your most active and when you are not. Believe me if you do not play the game for a week or two suddenly you are gifted with unlimited free lives. Play them at their own game you will still make them money when you watch the adverts and levels become easier when you become a pro. This is still the best matching game out there. They are still the leaders in this field

Enjoyable, but pointless rewards
I enjoy this game, and like the idea of travelling the world, but the rewards you get are mostly useless, you end a round with literally millions of bricks, blue or pink gems, which you just don’t need, yet are expected to compete through the levels to get the ultimate prize of completing the whole - when most of it is worthless to you
If the developers were to give value to the rewards, I would happily give this game a 5*

Great game.... but I’m outta lives
I have been playing on/off for a year or so. I like the more challenging ones, you just have to keep at it but I hate only having 3 lives. 3 lives is like over in a matter of minutes which hardly seems the bother of turning the game on. I want to play the game for an hour or so or as long as I want. When you occasionally ‘win’ some extra time I can’t always take it and it gets lost. Even 10 lives would be an improvement.

Great game, but...
I have one major gripe with this game, and that is the “free infinite lives” for 30 minutes or an hour or even two hours. They are awarded at random, and the clock runs down from that moment. So this morning, just as I had completed a section and decided it was time to walk the dog, I won 2 hours of infinite lives. I lost most of that because the dog couldn’t wait! It would be much better if the time ran only when the app was open - why can’t the developers make this so?

Fantastic
I love this game, I’ve played for years. I know some people spend money to buy boosts but I’ve never found the need. I am probably slower than other folk but I have the satisfaction of doing a city without any aid. There are always enough resources to get through to the next city in my experience. It has improved my geography and allowed me to see what a particular city holds to help in my decision to visit. I think the graphics are amazing and I love the little distraction games which turn up just as you are getting board. I appreciate there are sometimes hiccups but the customer service always put it right and really it is such a complicated programme I am not surprised that sometimes things go array. I think it is the best free game on the internet.

Challenging
I’ve been playing this game for about 3 years now and I love it. It’s totally addictive and unlike a lot of other players I’m so glad it only gives you 3 lives to begin with. There is the option to increase your daily lives but I’m not going there as I can play for over an hour on just the basic 3 lives and I do have a life to get on with. Some countries do seem harder than others but isn’t that what a challenge is all about? I’ve reached Athens and have had a struggle with some cities, you just have to keep on in there and eventually it all falls into place. I haven’t spent anything on playing so it can be done for free.

I love this game, been playing it for years. But it makes me so angry every time I get so far along I.e. I’m now in Barcelona and yet again I’m being forced to update on gummy drop. I say forced because they won’t let me play the game until I update and that means getting as far as Barcelona for the 3rd time and now I can’t play it because you’re basically forcing me to start from the beginning again. Is that because we are not allowed for some reason to take the game further than that? Is there a reason for that? I can’t believe it’s happened to me again. It’s just not worth the hassle anymore. It’s a great game, but not so great that I want to keep playing the same things over and over.
What is the point?

I have come to the conclusion that New York level is impossible to finish unless you buy extras, which I am not prepared to do, due to a severe lack of finances. This is a real shame as up until now I was enjoying playing, but now the fun has gone and it has just become frustrating. I have completed all levels apart from the last 10 of master builder, which I have been trying to do for over 3 weeks, if I ever get to finish it, which is looking unlikely, I will not go on to another city.

Ok
I quite enjoy playing this game but I have noticed that when you do your daily reward you don’t always get it which is annoying. I agree with other people that you only get three life’s should be more especially when you play for ten coins it can be very difficult, ten coins should be easy but it’s not. Also I must admit I don’t really want to play for four hours at a time if you manage to get the bonus, I think the four hours or whatever time you win should be take over the whole day, then you don’t end up with a flat battery, and doesn’t become stressful it’s a game it’s meant to be enjoyed !!!

Excellent game
I’ve been playing this game for quite a while now. Other reviewers have stated you can’t progress without spending money on the optional purchases, however I have never spent a penny and have currently advanced to Dublin, sometimes you just need a bit of patience to get past a level. I’m happy with the 3 lives as I think it’s good to have breaks from the game, never had any problems with lives reloading or progress being lost, perhaps because I always make sure the app is updated. Like most games I don’t think it runs smoothly if you haven’t done the latest update.

Totally addicted, luvin it. Some levels are challenging at first, but once you get your head around them, they're fine. Probably wasted hours of my life on here now, but at least it's a healthy addiction!

All free to do, haven't had to pay for anything, definitely worth downloading if you're unsure. I downloaded this game about 5 years ago and still playing it daily, even if just for 2 minutes.

Addictive
I have been playing this game forever, love and still do. I have never spent actual money on it ever which is a pro. What I would have liked is to see where on the map my friends are...? The little earth ball on the right hand side would be an excellent place to show me where they are. We are always in race with each other but never know where the other person is. Maybe consider something like that? Otherwise an excellent game.

Highly addictive, but informative too.
I’ve been playing this game for quite some time now and I’m now at a stage where I’m frequently awaiting the next city to come online.
I enjoy reading the info about the city sights/history and the jokey comments.
Despite other comments, so. far I haven’t submitted to paying a penny of real cash.
You just have to build up coins get extra tine or moves.

Great game
I love the fact that you need to use a bit of strategy to complete the levels on this game, that plus a bit of luck. It is possible to play without spending a penny on it!! I also love that the background music whilst in play is so mellow and relaxing. Smart. Playing gummy drop is one of my favourite ways to relax. If I run out of lives, I just go and do something else for a while!!!

Gummy drop
I really enjoy playing gummy drop and finishing a city starting another to find even more challenges but I have a problem now. The game keeps shutting down in the middle of playing I need some advice on this and maybe a clue as to how I can stop this from happening. It is not my phone as I have no problems with anything else and have turned my phone off and on several times in the hope of it reloading the game again. I am up to Havana a lot of completed city’s to loose if I were to delete it and reinstall. Please could I get advice on what I can do to solve this problem.

Complete rubbish
I haven’t played this game for about 12 months or more, when I saw they had made improvements I thought oh yes I’ll give it another go, they made it worse, you still only get 3 lives which is less than you get with all the other sites, and then when they have stolen them off you they want you to pay real money for them or wait a number of hours, they never changed that, but that’s where the greed of the game maker starts, take it from me, this game is not worth downloading, you would do better and get more free fun from monster busters, if you stay then I wish you luck because you will soon regret wasting your storage space.
This game is not even worth 1 star it is now complete and utter rubbish not even worth a place on Facebook games board.

I’ve been playing for about a year and generally it is great fun, if a little addictive! Although you can spend money I have managed not to and have still progressed through to Rio. I would agree that some cities are very difficult but I have not completed them, just done enough to unlock the next one. The highlights for me have been the event cities or locations as generally these are easier to complete and can be a relaxation from the more trying ones. I have had two issues which were resolved by the helpful people in Seattle. I shall continue playing!

I’ve been play this game from its inception, and although there are in app purchases and the fact that the game is always asking you to spend money, I have never had to do this, and in this time I have accumulated over 100,000 coins, so it is possible to have fun and not spend, plus it’s a very addictive and fun game to play, better than any game with saga in the title.

A bit mean
Still think it’s mean that there are only 3 lives when all the other games I play have 5. Also I noticed today when spinning the wheel the second go has disappeared. The levels are getting silly hard to pass and I am not nearly so far as some of the other reviewers. If it gets too difficult I will just stop playing as it is supposed to be fun not a Mensa challenge.

Gummy Drops
So far so good. Love the idea of being able to travel from city to city and the information about the buildings built. As I have coordination problems I find the timed levels difficult to conquer, would you be able to do something to ease the situation please?
Please make the tree planting to stop the sandstorm as a permanent planting instead of it disappearing after the next move.
I really hate the jumping ask friends box. It seems more and more boxes are appearing on the screen and less of the city being visited. Please at least stop the box jumping, I'm sure I'm not the only one that it annoys and it really puts me off the game. I haven't played the game nearly as much as I did before that horrid box appeared. Please designers, have a heart!

Best game
I’ve been playing this game for over 1 year now and I love it ! I’ve never bought anything on it you need to earn coins to buy things to help achieve levels as some of them are hard but that’s what I like the challenge! It’s very clever how you can go back to countries and drill for jewels wish I knew that from the start!! But all part of the fun! It’s the best game I’ve played I’ve tried others and deleted them but this one I’ve been hooked for a long time!!!

Love the game but HATE the violent games adverts
I would have thought that this game appeals to both adults and children. It is very enjoyable, somethings needs clear thinking, sometimes speed and dexterity and sometimes pure luck. As enjoyable as the game is, I find the adverts for the violent games that are advertised are appalling. I thinks that it is games like these that have caused a problem with some of the youth today so don’t fully understand that killing is not a video game. Without these type of adverts I would have rated the game MUCH higher.

It gets too difficult as you go through the game
It’s a good game to begin with, I really enjoyed it, but it gets progressively more difficult and frustrating, you seem to only be able to get through some of the levels if you spend money. At first this is what I did until I checked my bank statement and realised I had spent nearly £80 in a month, so I deleted it. I am playing it again from the beginning but once I find I have to spend money to progress I shall delete it. It’s really greedy of the developers to do this

Very enjoyable as a whole
I have played Gummy Drops for about 18 months, and love the concept of the game, but I do find it is getting more and more difficult to complete some levels. I have been stuck on a level in Barcelona for 3 weeks, in the end gave up and went on to a new destination. So I hope this can be rectified, because if you get stuck on a level you will eventually give the game up in total, but having that said I still enjoy. This is an update, I’m still struggling with the same levels. As in other comments it is getting harder and harder so all the enjoyment goes out of the game. Please can you address this as it is a good game, but no joy at getting stuck so I’m giving up.

Great Game but has it,s faults
I am not sure that this game is all what it appears, as it is supposed to be free you are always being asked for money.
That's all fine but it should be stated from the start that if is a paid for game than be more up front with what costs are involved, then you can make your own mind up on as to whether you wish to keep on purchasing extras as it appears to be a bottomless pit to what is being asked of.
Also it would be good if you could send your friends other help and money to assist them, it would then make it better because you would have a bigger community to play the game with and more life's would also help.
Also with the new updates levels are nigh on impossible and it seems to bombard you with advertisements trying to get to spend more money and and that is not fair, if children are playing it it does not take them long to rack up a fortune in bills also the daily challenge is awful in its concept.

Getting Annoyed
I have played this game for around three years. Generally like it but the bad points are starting to overshadow the good. 1) Lives are not fully reloading even when exiting the game for a while. That should not happen at all! 2) I hate the treasure chests only being available once a day and nothing of value in the chests. 3) When you're doing the Everest challenge the chests don't pop up which means you have to go back to day one and lose your accrued days. So you put up with getting "resources" for literally weeks then because you're working one 1 level you lose progress. If you go back to basics the game could be enjoyable once again.

It’s got too hard...
We all like a challenge, but an impossible challenge is just no fun. I’m in Seoul at the moment and can’t move on as I can’t get the prize from level 54. I have played and played, gained more coins (with difficulty ) and STILL I can’t complete it! Each level is getting more and more ridiculous! Having to play each level 3 times to get your prize is frustrating - AND your lives drop every time, why? The daily challenges are a joke and the treasure chests aren’t worth the effort of opening! The Everest challenge? Why bother? I just hide it now. You’re showing your true colours and want your players to spend money on your game...more and more people are deleting this as it’s too hard to be enjoyable. Please reconfigure the levels and and daily challenges - make them doable at the very least! You do get revenue from your advertisers so I can’t see why you have to be so greedy!

Lost all progress from Havana to Amsterdam
I was playing Gummy Drop as usual yesterday, left the iPad switched on while I went to do something else, when I came back the game was reset with me in Havana. All progress after that had disappeared.
Losing my progress has happened before and I had emailed the help team asking what to do. So I followed the instructions they had given me but it didn’t work and I was still stuck in Havana. After trying many times I eventually got my Gummy Drop game back, right up to Amsterdam.
I have seen reviews of Gummy Drop in which players have had this sudden loss of progress and I feel their pain. If it happens to you, try doing the following.
Uninstall Facebook app; uninstall Gummy and reinstall it WITHOUT OPENING; reinstall Facebook; open Gummy; connect with Facebook.
It may take several attempts to get it to work, but if you’re addicted to Gummy it is worth it.

Frustrating
Game is ridiculously too hard at some points and cheats you at others. You need to fill the blue star to explode yet the game starts with ONE blue gummy and thereafter doesn't give you enough to beat the level. Enjoyable but frustrating at times. I refuse to buy more coins etc, it's a game not a slot machine. Three lives is also ridiculous. Now majorly stuck in Shanghai at level 21-3 need 7000 bricks game gives you 3 at the most! Not paying to play so gonna delete!

Bad update
Now the one star rating given here is for the latest update, NOT the game itself. Gummy Drop is my favourite game right now and I play it all the time, therefore it's a five star game, but since the latest update I am experiencing a lot of crashing; today is the 06th November and the app has crashed every single time I have tried to play, which is at least a dozen times. And when the game does crash I'm getting this horribly loud static/crackling noise through my ipads speakers. Not nice. I love this game otherwise - Please fix this! :)

My favourite game
I love matching three games but this one has so much more to offer. My geography has improved no end (!) and I love that there are mini challenges all the way for a frequent achievement buzz. Struggled with the timed levels till I discovered the Eternal Freeze power up; now I save virtual coins earned till I can bulk buy them. The challenges are satisfyingly cerebral and the luck is not always against you. Great game altogether.

Match game with a few annoying traits
Good fun elements in a standard match three / four five etc. Some nice little touches from the developer sets this aside (resource marts, building famous landmarks) so far so good. What becomes increasingly annoying is having to play a level over and over to get further. Then there’s the levels where you make a move and there’s no possible moves left and the board shuffles. On some levels this can happen over and over.
Overall a good game I do recommend, the developer regularly puts in updates. Be great if some of the niggles could be ironed out.

Entertaining and not too hard
This is a fun game, easy to pick up, frustrating at times but ultimately satisfying. Unlike some games of a similar type, it's possible to make progress even if you don't spend money on gold etc.
I like that I can play offline too, which is very handy.
The update looks good, I'm hoping it will be even more enjoyable now.

Made it to New Orleans without spending real cash
So I must like it! But all the resource Marts I built in Sidney a few months back have disappeared! I used to dip into those as a restock. Some of the levels are stupidly hard and then confusingly when you have no idea how, you suddenly get past them. Mostly I know how I won a level, but sometimes I think there must be a set number of attempts before they think this loser is never getting past this unless we let them. But fun game, passes the time on the train and better than candy crush.
