Love that the other brands are now available in one place but the app can’t handle the volume of data. Browsing new in with filters on and the app crashes after a few scrolls. Hi. I tried to find other ways to contact the developers but I’ve resorted to this. I’ve taken to using the website over the last week, as the app constantly crashes, within minutes of searching for something. Usually it’s a very stable app. I’m fully updated.

Love the & brands and used to browse in the H&M shop app almost every single day to find new fits. But since the addition of the other brands (including the latest fix update) it’s just unusable. App crashes within minutes and can’t browse through items :(

The amount of times the app has not only crashed but then rendered my phone jerky and slow even after I’ve exited it since they added all the brands 😫 irony is the first thing I do is filter to H&M only anyway. Amazed nobody’s made the decision to roll this back until they can get it right. I literally haven’t seen more than ten products in a session for weeks. And I used to buy A LOT.

The app appears to be updated since I last looked a few days ago. Great as can see there are other H&M brands like Weekday and Monki on the app too. When viewing these brand pages on my iPhone 12 mini using the H&M app I scroll a few images down and the app keeps scrolling me back to the top of the page. Means I am only able to view about 3 items on Monki and Weekdays pages. I hope the app gets an update to fix this.

Since they’ve added &other stories and arket etc, I’ve managed a maximum of 5 minutes scrolling until the app crashes.

So this app is very annoying because it will only work if you have your phone/iPad/iPod/tablet/etc sideways. It has only a couple of each item of clothing - all of it is extremely expensive. It costs you £80 for a pair of “wool - blend trousers “ that don’t look nice anyway! Save your time and money by getting a different shopping app or just go into town and look there!

I think it s one of the best apps and website for shopping clothes, much better than their competition. I just wish all of the clothes are shown on models, some just have two photos without models. Finding it really frustrating how I keep getting automatically diverted to the app every time I want to just go online via my browser! I tried this at least 8 times and don’t like being taken there against my will. On top of this, whenever I tried going into the online shop from Google, I was taken through to the Chinese site?!
Also, importantly, don’t like now having to download the app to get my voucher for the clothes recycle scheme - how is this encouraging the loyalty and sentiment of charity giving?! This is monopolising on people’s good charitable intentions. I understand the business opportunity but this has gone that one step too far. So annoyed. I will now take my clothes to a more worthy charity shop. Deleting the app :(

I have paid for a next day delivery however they delivered it after 3 days. Although they have said they will refund it, which was not until now not resolved, the delivery has two missing items when I received the list. These two items are the most expensive among the 9 items I purchased. It’s just absolutely ridiculous service that after being considerate about the delivery option they would just give you an incomplete parcel. I recommend for online shoppers not to trust this brand especially when items are on sale.

The layout of this app is annoying the way products are listed. For example they’ll have just one listing for a graphic t shirt but when you scroll through the photos it’s actually loads of different designs. Then some things every colourway of the exact same item has a separate listing which is annoying too. Just hard to navigate and tell which products are actually the same. 3* because I love the review section which shows size recommendations.

I love H&M I’m a plus member and do all my shopping through the app making orders every month more or less. The issue is Hermes delivery always leave packages leaning against my front door when it’s clear that nobody is in and no cars on drive. Love the fact that they write girls dresses length so purchase can be made according to length required rather than just age because dresses can be short when selecting age. Also the description states whether a dress is lined or unlined. This is perfect for purchasing dresses for summer. The worse thing is to order a summery dress which then has 1-4 layers of lining making it unsuitable to wear on hot days. The colours are quality of the fabrics are amazing.

The Plus+ range is also trendy and covers everything from evening wear to sportswear. Although the website and app are great, the appalling customer service makes it very difficult to buy from you. You obviously use a Chinese call centre as they have no knowledge or responsibility for your company or products. Stating they have reserved goods for me in a store more than an hour’s drive away to be told, once there, that they don’t have the items!
I have placed one order on-line, had awful problems with the fact that your site or customer services couldn’t comprehend that we have a house name only and no number. Eventually received the goods by contacting Hermes and found the wrong colour in the parcel!!!!

I’ve been using the app for a while now and I think it’s great for browsing and placing orders but for the last 6 months I haven’t been able to see past orders. Which means that now, when I think I’ve been refunded only part of what I’m owed, I can’t check what the refund amount should be by looking at what I ordered (and sent back). Whenever I click on all purchases and try to look at my online orders I get an error message saying ‘we can’t display your receipts right now. Please check back later’. Please sort this out, it’s so simple but incredibly frustrating.

I really hate internet shopping however the online size guide is perfect. It literally is correct every time when it estimates my size and some things are 4 sizes different depending on the item and how they come up, so it’s best to trust the computers size suggestion and not guess your usual size. I love the member benefits. Free delivery and returns makes things so much more easy and tempting to shop! The quality of the clothes are really good. There’s always something wrong with the app and the search bar is not effective. The store has a vast amount of clothes so when the search engine doesn’t work, you can never really seem to find anything. You see something in store and look for it on the app but it doesn’t come up. Even tried putting the whole barcode number, says no results. Tried searching ‘work out’, ‘exercise’ nothing comes up fully knowing that I saw work out clothes yesterday in one of their stores. The need to classify their items better and make them more searchable (googlable).

Ordered an item to collect at a store. H&M messed up where the item is to be delivered. Despite the item being at the warehouse, they can’t cancel the item but have to wait for it to arrive at a store, for the item to sit in the store for 7 days, for it to then be returned at the same warehouse. Then it has to be processed as a refund which takes a week apparently for the refund to be in my bank account in the next 14 days. MAKE SOME SENSE!!!!! A child can make more sense than the system. Why did it have to travel to places for it to return to the warehouse in order for the refund. SO STUPID and inconvenient and just so stupid! If you mess up an order, FIX IT!

Most of the app seems ok quite clunky and slow to load, links for membership take you round in a loop! When you actually want to place an order don’t try and enter your address manually! Mine isn’t listed for some reason but the app assumed I didn’t know my correct address so auto populated to a neighbouring address a couple of streets over and saved that instead. Then when I tried to edit it manually it insists I use the populate option and I have to type something in that field for me to move on. Fingers crossed my order turns up. Unfortunately h&m do not make it clear that when you actually sign up as a member, every year from that date you signed up all the points you collected in the months leading up to that date you will lose all and any vouchers you may have gained.
H&m thinks its a good idea to renew your membership every year on the date you signed up and wipe all your points off?
Also with it taking 30 days for any reward vouchers to go on your account you can never get the chance to use them if you gained a voucher within a month up to your membership renewing?! How ridiculous
No other points/member club on the high street wipes off your hard earned points so why are h&m? Totally unfair on customers and they do not make this clear, its hidden in the small print that nobody reads.

Using a Merchandise Return Card In the App

I attempted to use my merchandise return card today on the H and M app. On the rear of the card there is a 19 digit number and I added this into the gift card for field but it required a pin. I didn’t have a pin and wasn’t aware of one.I called the H&M helpline to try to get some help but the lady there couldn’t help me and has raised an online issue about the website is not working properly.I went back and looked at my card again and the silver and black lines that looked like a magnetic strip for the card. I tried rubbing them. They came off, revealing a PIN number! Why did no one tell me about this or know about this when I called for help?

H&M have a great app but I would definitely like to see more/ some pictures of the models wearing the products as this would make it easier to decide whether it looks good or not! Also, it would be great if they got a bigger range of sizes of clothes on there. I say this because I am 13 yrs old and in the kids section there is not much choice because it’s mainly for younger kids but in the adult section, if I look for an XS in anything they most likely don’t have it. Otherwise this is an amazing app and I love the clothes on here. The app works really well and I like looking at clothes for myself on there.

H&M I remember shopping here when it first established in Stockholm Sweden as a young girl, I’m now living in the uk on the coast with a big family including three kids we find H&M to be the most cost effective stylish brand to clothes shop with, I’m not very tech at 46 and when I got the app on it phone I didn’t really understand how it worked, during COVID lockdown and summer arriving I went online and in conjunction with the app I have been really impressed with the services and speed of delivery!! H&M it’s my kind of store it’s unique in many ways I’m please they have choices for plus sizes which is a bonus. What I really like are the stretchy underwears, dresses, tops, trousers roomy enough to style to ones taste. However, the are knickers it’s sort of a disappointment as it’s actually made for European backside not wider at the rear to manoeuvres. The picture of the models are not the same as the fittings. I would like a wider upper arms (21-22”) wide. I am not bigger bust 44B last time I was measured in 2011 now gone down two sizes down. Only bigger upper arms. Love H&M

The app is very helpful because it checks that the person who is buying the clothing and accessories are the right person by asking security questions. The H&M app has a lot to offer for women, men, children and new borns. I have always been a loyal customer too this brand over many years including clothing my babies... then children and now young adults. This is my first experience purchasing online, which has been unsuccessful- what I mean by that is, the first time I tried too buy this item (which I love) after four days I was told my delivery had been cancelled. When tracking this I was told the size I wanted was no longer in stock. (🙁) it wasn’t when I selected it!
We live in crazy times at the moment, this is just a small gift for a friend’s birthday. So I’m trying too order this item for the 2nd time as it says “few in stock” so I hope I receive it. Really hope the transaction is completed and the money doesn’t leave my account until I receive the item.. all a bit confusing.

I rarely bother to write a complaint, however this time I felt that I really should. I am extremely dissappointed with the consumer journey that you offer online.
First of all, my day has started with a notification (in dutch) that all my membership bonus points were erased. Interestingly, that no one even bothered to notify me about that in advance. If I knew that, I would have exchanged it for a voucher.
Secondly, I have ordered a vase couple of days ago, when it was still available and I was extremely happy about it. I recieved an order confirmation and delievery info.
However, today it turned out that it’s not gonna get delivered and I’m going to get refunded for it. Why you can’t reserve the stock when a person adds an item to a basket? I really wanted that piece, I dont need a refund!
Third thing which is not working on your website is search in store feature, it hasn’t been working for I don’t know like two weeks already.
And finally another disappointing thing is that in the Netherlands there are so many expats that do not speak Dutch at all. And H&M doesnt offer any choice to use the app in English which is very frustrating.
It’s always a very bad experience on your app when shopping. It seems that the company is living in the stone age and doesn’t bother to innovate or at least keep up with the UX trends.

The H&M app could be great, but recently I seem to have encountered so many issues that I’ve stopped using it. I placed an order, paid with PayPal and received an order confirmation screen, but there now seems to be no trace of my order in my purchases, my email or on PayPal so I’m assuming it never went through. Trying to use the chat bot is an absolute nightmare and there isn’t a great method available to contact them. Also the filters for each category don’t work properly either and don’t bring up every result for the criteria you have asked for.

so i went shopping, added quite a few items to my bag, but as soon as i click onto the icon to view my basket, ALL the items i’d put in it were erased. however, i thought this was a small one-off error at first, so i went back and added the items again. and then page reloaded, and the items lost once more. this has happened two or three more times too- please fix this, it’s the only thing about the app that needs to be urgently sorted out. the app is actually really good- it loads fast, it’s not down much, too. however, the shopping bag erasing all items is just so frustrating and annoying that i just have to give one star.

I like this app as it is very good that you can become a member. The only problem i have is that it isn't accessible. I’m visually impaired/blind and i use voice over, a screan reader,to navigate round. My phone.
The problem I’m having is I can’t access the app. I had no problem setting up an account. But when i go to select an item it will not read all the information. I am also unable to find the back button, and selectit. So i have to close and reopen the app. Also i am unable to access the menu on the first page when you open the app, as my screen reader can’t read it.
Would the app be made more accessible as I’d like to use it.

I’m a big fan of H&M, but I’ve been trying to order some clothes in the sale all night. It’s taken over 4 hours.
This review - I actually cant see whwhats being Wittenberg, this is a joke but I am determined to post.
Signing into the app for my membership benefits took a stupid amount of time, with the app just not accepting text/numbers for pssword details etc. Then when I finally logged in, the clothes would disperse when I scrolled through the options. Then trying to pay?! Forget it it asks for your ohone number which it says is optional, then cancels your order because it’s not entered. Except I have, in every box where it asks for it.
The app needs serious work, or their entire online presence which seems mental

The app kept logging me out and my discounts would disappear, then when logging back in it would take you to the website rather than the app, then you’d have to wait for it to refresh to see the discount. App asked to review delivery option, for this to work you had to go back into the delivery details and accept, once back to checkout the price had inexplicably gone up by about 50pence and I had to reinput my card. I think I have a good deal but may have been able to get more if I’d selected different options; it’s hard to tell.

I really love the H&M policy on recycling - watch the video if you can.
I also love the choice of style quality and affordability of their product range. A couple of weeks ago I managed to purchase a top which was 100% recycled - fab.
Love the app too. Find it very easy and quick to use and the search and filter options are really helpful.
Overall, a great place to shop and more appealing is H&M’s green attitude.

It took me a while before I downloaded the app. Past experiences with other store apps hadn’t given me confidence that using the app would be any better than going online. However, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. Although there have been a few glitches, sometimes in the middle of a shop, I’ve fond this app super. I’m logged in, checkout is faster, I get every notification immediately. I’d say over all it’s a great app and it’s worth the download.

Yes this app is a little buggy at times and sometimes closes for no reason but I have purchased lots of clothes and found it to be a good experience. They have such a huge range that using the filters definitely helps. Staff at my local H&M have always know how to use the rewards and add points so overall it’s one of my go to apps. I have an iPhone so can’t say what it’s like for others but for me I’m happy!

The app/web version both have massive issues (“it’s not me, it’s you” error page popped up every one of the 7 times I tried to buy an item). It then rejects my password when I tried to create an account, leaving me no choice but to checkout as a guest. I then do so, buy the item, but receive no email confirmation and waste even more time writing to customer service (obviously receive no email confirmation for that either) and am thus left wondering what happened to my purchase. The orders section and billing isn’t very clear. For example you cannot just look at what your overall balance is, you can see what you owe and when but it gets confusing when there are returns and subsequent orders not ready for payment. Returns get credited but it doesn’t recalculate very well as still gives you the full amount. Sometimes I want to pay off a previous order plus a new order in one go but it’s difficult to work out what that amount is. You’d also think it would have an option to click and pay but it doesn’t. You end up having to call up and pay or set up a payment from your internet banking. I end up with a headache to be honest.

As someone who relies on shopping online a lot I love H&M’s clothing and home range, they are great!!! It’s a shame they don’t bother to spend time on the app. Instead of making shopping easier and hassle free is leaves you feeling exhausted and very angry! I can’t access my basket, I can’t check out, I can’t even add anything to my basket either!! I’ve tried
Reporting bugs, updated it as soon as one is available, deleting and downloading the app again, closing the app and opening again, restarting my phone too! Nothing works.
Thera no point being a club member because staff in store don’t know how to issue points into my phone! I can’t load any off the offers after accumulating hundreds of points so....Finally decided to get rid of it for good. Sticking to the old fashioned way of shopping with H&M; if I find the time to go in with toddlers that is!! Shame!

For such a global successful company, their app is the worst I have ever come across. It is constantly crashing and “down for maintenance”. Switching from search option to club card information to basket takes so long. To open previous orders takes even longer you might as well hit the button and go make yourself a cup of tea. The filtering options are just abysmal. Once you make an order, the app sends you off to Safari to a blank tab. So you then have to close Safari and return to the H&M app only to find your shopping basket “greyed” out. You have no idea if the order went through, along with your payment as no confirmation notification comes up. You then have to hope this comes through into your email inbox or you have to re-open the H&M app and check your previous orders! What an absolute mess!
Please fix this!!

When this app works, it’s great. At one point it was So easy to just click on it and find what I need when looking for something for myself or my kids. But the problem is, lately it hardly ever works. Always emptying my basket, always logging me out of my H&M club account and then when I try and log back it, it tries telling me my password or email is incorrect but then when I try it on my laptop, logs me in no problem. It’s always showing the “Oops” message and lately keeps displaying offers on the home page of app that are ages old and no longer valid !! It’s honestly becoming useless to me, think I’ll delete it and just shop in stores or else where 🤷🏼‍♀️

Two years ago it took the money of my gift cards and didn’t process the order, I spent ages on the phone getting it Put back on, they were unapologetic. I hate this app. It’s like it’s been developed to stop people shopping at H&M. You put clothes in the basket and as if by magic, they disappear. Or you are shopping, and it crashes on you, time and time again. Twice it happened that I put clothes in the basket, paid, and boom - gone, no trace of your purchase. Then I did it again, and the same happened. And again, same happened. Called H&M, but they can’t find trace of your order so guess what, you have to put it in your basket again and hope for the best. If I didn’t love H&M, I would have given up on this app a long time ago. It’s simply awful.

This is one of the worse high street shops/well known shop apps.
There are so many things so I can’t name them all. The filtering is dubious, who thought that customers only want to filter by designers and colour!? How about size, price etc. The second thing that’s riled me up is how H&M uses or rather doesn’t use the app to communicate with you yet that’s how I make my purchase. How about the app tells me when I need to pay my bill? No, an email into a junk folder followed by missed payment penalty makes much more sense. Here’s another, refund is acknowledged but the amount owed doesn’t change so if you buy on account you don’t know how much you owe. I’ll leave it here but please fix ASAP. Plenty of others have managed decent apps.

You’re websites are always problematic and never work, can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen the ‘it’s not you it’s us’ sign pop up before making payments. And plus it’s hard to choose sizes when you don’t mention the size the models wear. In the past every time I’ve bought clothes there’s something wrong with them, they’re either missing buttons, got rips in them or are way too big- since when was a size 10 the same as a large??? Please sort it out, online service should be the same, if not better than in-store experiences.
