why is the help center not doing anything to resolve my friend feature tab and make it work.
It's really annoying when you keep asking for a fix on the TikTok friend feature and nothing happens. I've sent them messages about it, explaining what's wrong, but all I ever get back is pretty much the same response, like "we understand your frustration." It feels like they're just not hearing me, or they just don't care enough to actually do something about it. I just want the feature to work properly!

are you not ashamed of yourself tiktok? once a pure, unsoiled, innocent video app has now transformed into a cesspit of ads of all sorts, disclosed and undisclosed. what is the most egregious part of this is the fact that if you ever so slightly touch the corner of an ad it takes you to their product page and it is extremely slow and annoying to get out of. at times, the accidental opening of such pages causes your phone to crash, forcing the user to either refresh their tiktok app, give up and reconnect with the disappointing world, delete tiktok, or delete themselves out of frustration. as an incumbent user of this app i have no doubt that this is the sort of belligerence that a certain yahu has created. furthermore i would like to add the fact that literally every three videos i get an ad. please stop with this insolent behavior it’s genuinely making everyone’s life so miserable. and the fact that you have the audacity to sell yourself further to us people by selling “promotions” is frankly abhorrent and disgusting. the fact is that you use this to take advantage of the vulnerable, those who wish to become famous, just for them to pay for something but they end up never doing anything about it. you are a predator tiktok. the vulnerable are a “preying experience” for you, and this is really making me pray for the future as it seems quite bleak from your “improvements” you have implemented in your app.

The algorithm understands you too well but issues like videos unexpectedly pausing or lagging and that “share with” button that makes you accidentally send videos to people you don’t know well is incredibly annoying

Sound bug
My app doesn’t recommend songs for videos and pictures, and the “for you” songs are the same ones every time and are not relevant.
I looked it up and others are having this issue. I cleared my cache and my settings shows no 'Switch to Personal' button despite unlinking TikTok Shop weeks ago. I tried doing it on desktop. If my account is a business account for some reason, I need it reverted to Personal without enabling Ads Manager. If it isn’t, you have a bug to fix.

Sort out your guidelines.
This app over the years has turned dark, sexism, racism, homophobia. And something has to be done about these posts. It’s feeding in to youngs children minds and it’s scaring me to be honest. Another HUGE thing. This inverted filter thing. People are now able to show gore on TikTok. And I’ve just saw something unspeakable. And nothing is being done about these posts. And the fact children are able to see these videos is awful. Although TikTok is a great app It also has its bad side and has to be sorted quite frankly is unacceptable. Every single other platform is the same nothing done about it. But TikTok used to be really the only app that didn’t have any of this awful media. But now it’s became one. It’s not to late.

I absolutely hate the share with button with a burning passion. Why does it only show up when I want to expand the caption? Why does it only recommend people I do not interact with? I have just had my profile suspended for no reason I am so annoyed I’m your average booktoker I have not violated any of your rules terms and guidelines at all! all I do on their is open book mail share my tbr list and I have made some amazing friends on their when I started my booktok I didn’t think anything would come of it but it helped me with my mental health when I had some really dark days at the start. I found a community of book lovers friends and everything and you have ripped that away from me for no reason just head this as a warning they will suspend you for no reason and won’t even tell you about it or communicate why they feel you have been suspended I have done nothing wrong all I ask is if you are reading this and have had the same happen to you then make a review on the website and the app although my world doesn’t evolve around TikTok but it made my mental health more bearable each day and I could connect with people that were in similar situations to me and I never felt alone in my battle but now titktok have just put me back at struggling with it not to also state I have spent so much money on their TikTok shop that I will never get back now and when you spend money and share your experience it usually helps the platform out but no longer will this be the case I’m glad that we have made you rich enough so you don’t care about anything but your millions you have stacked up from content creators like me !!

Amazing, but I need to address some things.
This is honestly an amazing app. It educates people but most importantly it brings happiness and fun towards it also.
One thing that’s bad is that you’re banning tiktok the US. What’s so terrible about tiktok. Nothing. It’s not going to be tiktok without the Americans. I’m not going to lie here, if you ban US there is going to be a downfall in this app. I don’t think I could possibly live without tiktok . I grew up with it and it’s been amazing ever since. 2025 is going to be a awful year without the Americans , I’m not being rude because I love this app. Americans brought this app to life and without them it’s going to be terrible. The fyp will be dead. Nothing interesting will be posted. I don’t know where there going either. Don’t get me wrong I’m in Europe so I’m not effected with this ban. But this app will be banned soon and the downfall is going to be crazy. Secondly, people are saying slurs to people and it won’t get taken off the platform. It’s unfair because people are getting a strike on there account for saying ‘hi’ and people can be racist and rude. And when people report it will say “no violation found” that’s it for now.

What i think.
Still love it. Have some great content art and topics games pictures videos. etc. Not all good. As there are some strange people who make a point of saying or making something out of nothing ie drama lies making and breaking rules of teams and groups etc. So i run solo. But am who i am. As believe to be a good person. Some people that want money or to try and scam people. I don’t know it’s a good idea that anyone can make as many profiles as they want. ie to start problems with different accounts people. Only been doing this for a while. As not great with technology phones computers etc. I do like to post clips saying’s car pictures and would like to share race sim videos. As not in good condition as a 46 year old. Long story. Bad diabetics. So don’t drive or race anymore. So sim racing is my main hobby. So in general it’s all been okay apart from a few people groups teams. So happier solo but feel like i could do with some help sometimes to make the most of this platform. Tips tricks to keep me and others stress and anxiety drama free. Maybe some help tips to make confidence go up and to go live how to make content videos etc. So if someone does read this please share or link me to how to make the most of this platform. Don’t really do other platforms. As said technology and spelling is not great because of learning difficulties and health issues. So 1st time I’ve done this. Improvements still necessary!
Data protection policies need to be reworked. I am new to the platform and the updates it’s been having since musically. And honestly I can’t believe how much the platform has improved to be honest. I have genuinely taken the time out to follow more inspirational people and my for you page has now added value to my platform. However, it’s too easy to be stuck in a cycle of reparative content and repackaged content. The “brain rot” side of content is actually very consistently and increasingly concerning. This is what the next generation of youth will have to work with. The “brain rot” types of content that is just so soulless sometimes… wait am I yapping? Idk. Moving forwards with significant… bruh I forgot what I was tryna say and honestly I ain’t tryna reread that all of that cos that’s just long. Only doing this right cos I’m soooooo bored omds . Like I was like TikTok. Sorry but… bruh. Mix it up!!!! Or have a settings where you can decide whether this content brought value or not too the system. Functionality wise TikTok is aimed at kids. It’s the new age of social media and honestly what it’s doing to kids and the brains? It’s too much too quickly. I am very impressed I have had it for as long as I can remember it is very addictive I will say that 😂 but it’s an all round amazing app I love every about it form story times to slime tutorials. If I ever have a complaint I will say but for now it’s perfect. BUT I really recommend for the users for Tik Tok to be age appropriate or if u are under age u have a private account and make sure who ever follows you is a friend or family member and if u do have a public account that you just don’t show your face and if u do cover it up x. Any way that’s all I have to say about this. Here are some things you can expect from the app u can go and follow song artist ( make sure it’s there real account and not fake) many MANY YouTubers have vlog accounts on Tik tok so make sure to check them out as well back on the subject of fake accounts if you make a fan account or a account based on a Tik toker make sure to put in your bio “NOT THE REAL PERSON”‼️and if you want to help people find the real account tag them in your bio or just put there user in your bio as well you could get lots of follows as fan account have been blowing up in the past month or so you can also support influencer for example nidal wonder who resentley git in a crash you could support him with videos etc anyway, I really hope you enjoy this app and all it has to give ENJOY ☺️ ❤️💕🩷

Make it better!
Sick and tired of seeing people ‘live’ either using a photo from google (multiple people using the same photo on different accounts) or sitting there pretending to be asleep while a game is shown being played - the trick? Getting people to send gifts to ‘control’ the game! Absolutely ridiculous. I also saw a man pleasure himself on a live stream on this app. There are open racists running their mouths constantly. Constant selling of useless products stating incorrect prices and this is almost every single day! I have reported numerous comments that include clear slurs that are deemed as having ‘no violation’, there are numerous inappropriate videos being posted - again ‘no violation’. There are some notoriously unsafe and inappropriate ‘creators’ that are being rewarded regularly! You claim to be a ‘safe’ app but TikTok tell me how any of the above is allowed on your app and how you deem the behaviour of the every day trouble makers to be safe! You ask users of the app to report things that shouldn’t be on there yet there’s always no violation and no action taken against these people. Do you have any actual humans working to check these reports or is it just automatic answers from machines? I’ve tried to be patient, I’ve tried to understand that things ‘slip through the cracks’ now and again but this is becoming a regular occurrence. 13 year olds should NOT be able to access the app in the state that it is currently in!!

I love TikTok, but…
I’ve had TikTok for about a year or so, and my overall experience has been really good! Although, there is a really big problem on TikTok with bullying being normalised. It’s especially worse in comment sections, where people will comment on people’s appearance, weight, makeup etc. a lot of the time it will be comments like, “post this on insta reels”(because the people on reels are really mean) or “is it acoustic?”, when it’s really just a normal video. I think people saying acoustic (as in autistic) was fine at first, when people with autism used it to make light. But now it is being used as a way to make fun of people :( there are also videos where people make fun of certain music, clothes/fashion and things like that. I think that some people need to understand that everyone has different likes and dislikes, and that’s ok. I wish there was a way to report comments or for TikTok to have some sort of moderation on comment sections.
Other than that, TikTok is really lovely. It makes me really happy and makes me laugh a lot. If you follow kind creators and ignore mean videos/ comments, you will have a good time! So don’t let any of this put you of from getting it!!! Thanks for reading all the way to the end 🩷🩷🩷

best app hands down.
this is the best app tbh. like its changed me for the better, and i've seen a far better version of myself after downloading this app. i've started making routines into things. and being motivated into doing things i've needed to do for a while. its honestly changed my life for the better, and i'm in a far better place mentally and physically than i was last summer. although this isn't all down too the app, it has been a major part in helping me. if your wondering about ages i'd say ages 10-11 is fine, but i would advice not posting face, but once they get too 12 honestly you should let them do what they like. its so over-exaggerated of how "dangerous" the app is. it's not. its really not at all. none of my friends or myself or anyone i know has had a bad experience with this app. honestly all of that is very rare or completely over- exaggerated. this is for tiktok- please please PLEASE make a group chat update i need it so bad, and stop banning accounts that are over the age of 13 😭 this doesn't happen to me but it happened constantly too my friends. so please try too sort that out. tiktok literally changes lives for the good let ur kid get it girlypop

This app has changed me! If you want space videos search them up, if u want dance videos search them up. This app has any type of video you imagine. I love being organised and watching people getting organised and all I have to do is type in “getting organised” and it comes up straight away. Some parents may think this app is bad for kids but it’s actually got a lot of interesting and factual stuff they could you in their future life. yes, it may be a little but untruthful at times but you usually could tell since it look so unreal or it hasn’t blown up yet by other people, Also if u do y have any other apps to talk to your friends or family on get them to get tik tok and you can also message them, you have to be friends to message but you can’t call so if you’re friends with someone random you can call them. Also if you’re unsure about your kid having it you can set up privacy settings and also make your account private if you are unsure about it and also when you sign up it asks you what you are interested in so then make your kid watch stuff you want them to watch. I LOVE TikTok, I’ve had it for ages, I have had it underage but I am the correct age now, I am 12 yrs old and I’ve had it since I was abt 9-10. I’m sorry that I got it not under the age restrictions but I just really love it, I go on it everyday on my way to school with my friends and brother and it is absolutely amazing and it doesn’t drain my battery really quickly like other apps. One thing is that there is only a few ways you can sign up if you get banned, I got banned on one of my accounts which was going really well so I think we shouldn’t get banned but rather kicked off it until you think we have been waiting long enough to come back on and that we are of right age, also before that happens I think we should get a warning so we don’t post as I know you only do it for ppl underage for there safety. TikTok is very fun but there can be people telling kids to do bad stunts that could send them to hospital and possibly kill them and TikTok is a way for stalkers to look at you and stalk you so kids and teenagers, I suggest you don’t show your face until you are at least 16, maybe a year or 2 younger if your parents say you can. I love this app too much I can’t stop writing about it
TikTok is an amazing app, and I hope it gets very successful in the future because I am really to addicted and everyone else is also addicted too and we literally can’t stop watching it and it’s so fun to scroll through alright, so we’re basically all addicted so we can have to take a break but I like how there’s a feature that tells you how long you can go on TikTok, but sometimes I forget my password and I can’t go back in and I hope you fix that, but I’m always going to keep the title on 5 stars because it’s so amazing, and I really like how there’s such nice content, funny content and lots of different content and people are being creative like with the grimace shake or something. but I have to say some content creators are very toxic and I think you have to ban people for that not banning people from the short age like I am 13, but I keep getting banned saying that I’m nine or eight, even though I am literally the age limit. also, you should’ve lets people see templates because some people can’t see any templates like me I can’t see any templates on your app and it’s very annoying. TikTok keeps on logging me out my account
I gave it three stars because whenever I coming back onto TikTok it will be on my account I have to sign back in again and it’s really annoying because I just wanna try watch videos on the app but I can’t because I have to be stuck logging in every single day and I have multiple accounts but whenever I come into TikTok as I need it back into my account I should have all my account still on there do you know they all connect together because they all I own all the accounts but then I found out my main account was deleted and I had forgot my password so I’m now really annoyed because I have so many followers and I’ve gained a lot like so I’ve improvedOn that account I made a ton of videos on it and do you know the game is a lot of likes and followers for what I’veBeen doing and I am now really sad that I forgot my password Naomi think it is my fault really as I forget my password TikTok you’re not be logging me out of my account if I come back onto TikTok every single time but also it’s my fault you never forget in my login and trying to log back into my account and I’m stressed trying to remember what my password is and try again back my account does this ever happened to you guys? Why do I love TickTock SO much?
I love TickTock as it allows me to send whatever I want to on it and I can text lots of new people. Thanks to TickTock, I was able to meet a new friend who is a bit older than me but is so kind towards me and we even text on Whatsapp now. It’s a shame I can’t see her in person because I live in a different part of the world to her but we still talk to each other and tell jokes and even our problems to each other which makes me feel loved and safe. I love TickTock and I always will. I may not spend SO much time on it and sometimes just barley be on it but I still love it and it’s just because I am busy but I want to spend more time on it and start making online SAFE friends. This is a lovely app and is a way of ppl who don’t want to socialise in person, can socialise with someone safe and online. You can send videos that you made, want to share, want ppl to see to TickTock and you can get lots of ppl to like or follow you but in my opinion TickTock has helped me SO much and even made me so happy that I wouldn’t stop laughing at jokes, couldn’t stop smiling at things that would make me smile, etc. if you are ever having a bad day then just watch some lovely TickTock videos and your day will be better in no time!!!✨♥️😁

REPORTING NEEDS TO BE REVIEWED
I would give this review 5 stars. If it wasn’t for the absolute shambles when it comes to reporting hate/bullying. Tiktok is a haven for trolls. Even though I LOVE tiktok it can actually be very toxic. From what I can gather when you report a video or comment it flags you to tiktok and they scan it for any keywords - I think this is all done automatically and not by humans. A lot of the time things are flagged incorrectly. When you appeal a violation I think that’s when humans then review what’s been reported. The main issue I have is people/trolls leaving hate comments on my page, I will do a video reply defending myself then the troll will report me and I will be the one to get a violation NOT them even though they are the ones leaving hate comments. When you try and report the hate comment if it has no insults or bad words in it won’t flag up. Which isn’t fair because hate/bulling is more than a few bad words. Humans need to be monitoring the reports so more in depth checks can be made. If someone doesn’t like you they can also very easily have your account completely removed just by reporting you multiple times. It’s really unfair. Apart from this issue I absolutely love tiktok.

For any parents who are scared for their kids to get tiktok, don’t be. While it may not always be the nicest place ever, it’s great exposure to the world for children. I let my kids get tiktok in year 6 (age 10/11) and everything has been fine. If your worried about the types of videos that were circling around a few years ago (if you know the incident I’m talking about) those videos are very hard to get uploaded now as community guidelines take any inappropriate videos down before uploading, videos can also be reported if they make it past the previous review and you can easily block accounts. For you pages are custom to your liking based off of your viewer engagement so that you get the content you enjoy! Tiktok is honestly amazing for all ages and I think it would be fine to go as young as 9 to get tiktok aswell. The only thing I would say is that it’s very easy to get addicted so it’s down to the parents to still keep them interested in other hobbies and activities in the “real world”. Other than that it’s such a good way to connect with friends, and when your kids say that people who don’t have tiktok can get picked on, they aren’t lying. If they feel that they’re ready for tiktok you should give them that responsibility and privacy and if you’ve done your job right, you should be able to trust them to use this app well. 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Shadow Banned Mass Troll Reporting
At first it was fun, then I got on to the side of sharing information to try and educate the Covidiots who were sharing misinformation from memes they found on FB. That’s when the mass reporting of my videos began, of course they’d all get restored. Only downside to that fun is, when your videos are restored, there is a mark that is still on your account which means although your video is classed to have no violations, your account could be removed without notice and no way to appeal their poor decision. This app is 100% all about reporting decent users and videos. And 0% ways of messaging a human who can clearly see you are being falsely reported. If I’m wrong, I’d like a human from TikTok’s team to explain where I’m wrong and not a generic link that points you to every single guideline. Also to add as I was waiting to hear back from my being ejected from a live, with the host for Bullying and Harassment. Funny thing was, it was only us 2 (Two) in the live talking and laughing together. I have just been informed that my ban is upheld and can no longer go live. So this is were I will be deactivating my account and deleting the app. Everything is scrutinised and if you say one bad word, or breath the wrong way, you will be deemed breaking one of their thousands of tiny guidelines. The fun has been sucked from my being and I’m announcing my departure from the app. #TikTok toodle pip.

I’ve had an account for over a year that got banned not that long ago because apparently I’m under ages for TikTok I am turning 13 in a couple of days and I should be able to have this app. This is ridiculous!! When I was younger I had an account with over 1k followers and never got banned even when I was under aged and now that I’m the proper age I’m getting banned? That’s unacceptable honestly. Even people that are older than 13 are still getting banned but then kids that are under the age that I’ve been seeing on my for you page don’t get banned? What’s going on with that like? Fix this cause honestly there’s no point of having an account if it’s going to keep getting banned my friends are also getting banned when they are over the age limit for the app. It’s going too far at this point. People older then the limit getting banned all the time without a warning and then little kids not getting banned because a “parent” owns the account when they clearly don’t they probably don’t know their kids have an account and that acceptable? So many people are having problems with getting banned id suggest to fix this and stop getting innocent people banned that are clearly over the age limit. I may love the app but this is getting out of hand getting banned for no reason? At this point there’s no point of having the app cause when ever something gets posted the account gets banned and video gets removed? Then what’s the whole point of having the app? It’s supposed to be fun and have account to post. No one school get banned unless it’s people under the age of 12 people 12 and over should be able to have their accounts the amount of accounts of mine that got banned is ridiculous. Had to put as a 5 star so you guys can see this review so I’ve had tiktok since musically exactly 6 years I’ve had it for now and I’ve worked so so hard on my accounts and I don’t violated the guidelines but people who don’t like me report my account for nothing. So I’ve worked so hard on my account it had 55k followers and 500k likes I really liked my account and others did too I had lots of memories on that account that I can never get back which is very upsetting as I’ve had for a long time and tiktok decided to banned me for no reason at all and I lost all lose memories and all my followers and everything I don’t find it very funny at all then I made a new account and had 5k followers and then people who didn’t like me was reporting me again and now my account is banned again after making a new one within a week is banned I don’t even know how that is possible but tiktok please sort it out I’ve never done anything wrong and now getting banned when I had tiktok shop and everything aswell people sent me free stuff and I had to review it and I couldn’t because you banned me. So guys don’t get addicted to the app because they will just banned you for no reason!

Fix your system reports
Right now don’t get me wrong i love this app, it puts me out of my boredness and i use this app many hours a day but recently I just haven’t been happy with it. The report system is terrible and I keep getting banned for literally no reason? My videos keep getting taken down because of ‘grooming behaviour’ when none of that is involved in my videos? None of my videos are against the community guidelines yet they still get removed and then lead to account warnings and then to getting banned. i’m getting very frustrated as 3 accounts in the last 2 or 3 months has been banned for absolutely no reason at all, my first account had no account warnings or any videos taken down, the second i never even posted on (no account warnings) and the last one i got banned on which was a few days ago yes i had an account warning but that’s because my videos keep getting taken down for no reason. I put in hard work trying to blow up and make enjoyable videos but i just keep getting banned. and now on my current account i’ve already got a video taken down for ‘grooming behaviour’ when it’s nothing to do with that at all, it’s literally just myself. Tbh I like the app for ideas and entertainment but the amount of ads I get is unbearable. Something that TikTok could most definitely improve on is bots! I understand that in the logging in/ signing up process you have to verify that you are human, but I believe there is some sort of way to get through this. I frequently get followed by suspicious accounts with the bio ‘click the link in my bio’ or ‘click to have *** with me’ Luckily, I block all of these account and report some but attention to them seems to be very little and they very rarely get banned. honestly I would fill the word ‘***’ in but it’s pretty obvious and I don’t really want to get banned of any sort. Speaking of getting banned, I have got a vast amount of 13 accounts banned and the reason is most likely ‘too young for TikTok’ but I very much am not too young for TikTok (over the age of 13) I also keep my videos featuring any part of myself on friends only- the most being shown my face. This frustrates me as I don’t believe that real people check your profile before TikTok assumes that you are too young and immediately bans you. Honestly, I find it ridiculous that TikTok can assume this type of thing and ban you with no hesitation. Overall I like the app for content purposes and watching the videos, but tbh the actual software of it (idk if that’s the right wording) is not great.

Ok so I’m an old man at 45. I don’t normally write reviews as I’m sure you already know. I’m not up in all this new stuff and assumed this app was really just for the younger crowd. My bro kept sending me TikToks that were meant to be funny and for me. So I got it to watch his vids. Sure enough the vids were hilarious. Then I started watching and getting stuff that was perfect for me. Now I’ve even made my own wee humble funny vids. I’ve made some friends, I catch up on what’s going on in the world. And have seen some of the most amazing things ever. Also It’s great because we can skip the ads if they don’t appeal. Don’t have to wait 5 secs lol.
I love sharing some of the more amazing stuff with friends and family. They have some great effects to play with when making vids, and believe me when I say if I can work this app then a drunk baby goldfish dropped on its head can do it. I’m that good! Lol
Now for what I don’t like (look if I don’t type it out my head hurts), lol. For one…., ok I’m thinking…. Ammmm. Some vids aren’t that good. There’s some vids u may disagree with? I used to watch TikTok a lot and I watched it so much that instead of waking up and brushing my teeth in the morning I would get my phone and start watching TikTok I’m really lucky that I found some good content creators on TikTok convincing people and telling people the logic behind TikTok and why it’s really bad for you it makes your attention span short you zone out all the time and the only thing you can think of doing is going on TikTok everyday you ignore fun real life tasks because you want to watch TikTok you just sit in your bed all day and watch TikTok doing nothing but swiping up or down and reading through some comments and then the next day you won’t even remember anything that TikTok has told you it’s good to become famous or get attention for something but can be very very addictive and I don’t even want to mention what type of content gets away on TikTok it’s just really bad for your mental health and I would highly recommend to not download this app I was perfectly fine before I downloaded TikTok but I’m sure every single other person would be after they hopefully delete this app too just trust me deleting the app makes your life so much better and if you can’t do this try and set time limits and then try watching something else or even find another real life hobby and then eventually delete the app the second I deleted I felt really good and I felt like a ton of pressure just got released just please think before you download this or still have it you don’t need this in life

Where do I even begin?
I’m convinced that people who use this app are living in The Matrix. It’s so toxic and addicting. The developers of this app really need to do something about age restrictions on this app because the amount of little kids on this app. My younger siblings who are 10 and 7 are pretty much addicted to this app. They’re on it 24/7. Everyone I know use it and are addicted to it. My friends, family, SCHOOL TEACHERS all have it. It’s actually really scary. Keep in mind I am 15 which means I’m apart of gen Z, and most, if not all, of my generation are on TikTok. So many teenagers are loosing their personality thanks to this abomination of an app. TikTok should be 18+ and I don’t care what any of the brainwashed teenagers say. People will get offended over ANYTHING and the littlest thing you could say can ruin your life. Because of an opinion. This app ruins so many people’s mental health and I think that the next generations won’t be able to do things like watch a 2 hour movie or watch a documentary because they’re so used to watching 15 second videos that are dumb and unfunny. As I said, this app brainwashes you. I used to be so addicted to this app. I would speak in “TikTok language” if that’s what you even call it and it ruined me and turned me into something I’m not which is why I’m writing this review. If you have this app please delete it. I’m begging you. It’s for your own good.

TikTok is an amazing app with amazing people on it. I watch it day in day out and love many creators on there. There are all kind of content creators from funny videos, sports challenges, dances, cooking recipies and even makeup tutorials! Tiktok is super for all different kinds of people from all different age ranges. TikTok is one of my favourite apps and honestly, I learn so much from it such as simple stuff like DIY hacks and fun facts, from things like how to survive a shark attack! I spend hours a day scrolling through this app and I cannot lie, I really do enjoy doing it! It is so fun to see all the different typed of content that there is to see!
On the other hand, TikTok can, too, be a dark place. On the app, there are many scammers, fake website, and inappropriate content for younger viewers such as inappropriate jokes which some may find harmful. Additianally, the TikTok guidlines are absolutely rubbish! Many of my previous accounts have been banned/deleted for 'Violating the Community Guidlines' when I've done absolutely nothing wrong. This is actually quite upsetting as some may have drafts that they wanted to finish or transitions or videos of them and there family/friends that they haven't downloaded. If you have important drafts that you want to keep, I encourage your greatly to post it on 'Only Me' which is your account does get banned, you will still have the video.
In conclusion, TikTok is a fun place to be and I emjoy it greatly but sometimes, it can be annoying or even upsetting! Thanks for reading :)

I do love tick tock it’s good for when your bored but I always have a issue with it because it sometimes logs you out for no reason possible lol if you try and access again sometimes you can log back in but mostly you can’t.I didn’t get banned it will say you got banned but I didn't sometimes there’s things on there that you have to watch out on btw (by the way) this app is not well for children lower than 10 like it showed 12+ ONLY you can swear you can’t control what you see on there which is not children free so don’t make an account for your children unless it’s managed by adults make sure you check your Child’s tick tock daily and before you download it for your child check the reviews like I said some things are dirty on there so watch out for what you see and hear especially for your child everything else from that is very well and good for if your bored and some things you can buy stuff there and say if your ordering something it’s sometimes give you good and bad information mostly good info thank you for listening to my opinion you might not agree with me but trust the process but watch for children bc (because) it learns a lot of bad stuff like stuff you don’t want your children to know yet. Cyber security threat and terrible for your mental health
As someone who has used tiktok for about 1 year now I have only just started to realise all of the negative effects it has had on my health. An example of this is being on it for hours before i go to bed until about midnight which has caused me to wake up later. When you look at scientific studies it shows that tiktok shortens attention spans due to both how the algorithm works and how shortform content like tiktok is.
Tiktok is also a gigantic cyber security threat to every single country, the chinese government have access to all of tiktoks incredibly invasive data, if you look at the privacy policy you see things like them being able to use your search history, videos of yourself(including drafts) and terms of comments. A lot of people that I know when they hear about these privacy breaches don’t understand why it is so bad so to people like that, if a company has BILLIONS of peoples, private info, comstant location, isp etc. That company then sells that data and then a random person in the world knows almost everything about you, and in the case of tiktok this information is used by the government as a weapon against government officials and anyone with power.
If you dont think thats bad enough a lot of the money taken from tiktoks revenue is by the chinese government and they have killed millions in modern day concentration camps so you aren’t supporting anyone good, i know that google and facebook arent good either but at least they arent war criminals

TikTok I’m not happy ! Please read to understand
TikTok is a good app for making videos and commenting on videos but iv been permanently banned ! For violating the guide lines and they did show me what I had done to violate the guide lines so I will probably make that mistake again and be banned I’m so annoyed with this I don’t even know what I’ve done wrong to be permanently banned !! That’s why I’m saying TikTok is a THREE out of FIVE . If iv done something wrong like put a swear just tell me it’s so silly that they don’t tell you what you’ve done wrong plus if it is a swear so why do most the song have swears on TikTok ? Also I know theirs a age restriction but TikTok goes around and sees all these kids on TikTok and does nothing about it if they think it’s ok for kids to be on the app and make videos why is their a age restriction. Glitches.
I used this app for idk how many years on my iPad and it was working absolutely great. I loved it, everything was great and it was so amazing. Until, I went on the app. It was works fine for a few minutes and then once I scroll down there's this fornite tiktok. What could go wrong? That's right, a glitch. But nit just any glitch, a glitch that almost broke my iPad. It was just a zombie girl skin and it it kept repeating what she was doing(rowing back and forth while standing) and I tried to scroll down or leave the app but I couldn't. So, I turned it off but once I turned it back on again nothing changed. I almost cried bc that iPad was what made me happy. I showed my sister and she turned it off (the way when u press the shut off button for like a few seconds and then it says swipe to turn off.) and when we pressed the home button to turn it back on again, it showed the apple logo. (That's what's it does) but it takes about 39 seconds to turn back on again. But this took around 15-20 minutes. 15-20 MINUTES. I want to use this app again but I can't bc it needs some "update" and it's not even on my iPad. ( not downloaded) so I click update and after it finishes it says "dOeSnt wOrK" or something. That's for wasting my time looking at a circles surround a little square which is blue. Now, I have to watch tiktok compilations which my sisters say is sad. Wow. Thanks a lot tiktok:)

Good and disgusting
TikTok is an amazing entertainment app. It has a clean user interface, navigating around it is seamless and most importantly, it is undeniably a great way to kill free time. However, there is one issue with this app that eliminates all of my complements: inappropriate content is happily lurking around that often appears intermittently.
I installed the app on my iPhone to see what all the hype was about. Only a few days later, I began to see many inappropriate videos and recommendations pop up. I always keep my heart clean so I will not describe what it was, but trust me when I say it was disgusting. I am aware that you can customise your for you page, but that is absolutely no excuse for the dirty videos that are freely uploaded onto TikTok daily. It’s behaviour like this that makes me concerned where the modern generation is heading, despite the fact that I am a young teenager myself. Such content is incredibly alarming and it should receive much more attention.
In order to fix this, I would kindly like to suggest that TikTok goes back to the drawing board and rewrites their algorithm from the ground-up to become fundamentally more intelligent. In doing so, it would significantly reduce the amount of inappropriate videos being uploaded, resulting in the app being profoundly better for all of us. Furthermore, it would entice more people to install it, which at the end of the day is TikTok’s main goal.

Security fail and lack of major updates.
This app is truly a fantasy towards other users and including myself. Especially all the fun trends, organisation, e.t.c. Except the downside is that the app is too overly-rated or a bit more adult-ish. You see, there are actually tons of people on TikTok under 18 and the app was supposed to be around 12-13+. But following restrictions of that is not really followed. There are so many videos and/or users on TikTok that have 18+ graphic content, gore and more. However on the other side, it’s just little kids playing or doing dances. And when a bad video gets sent, it really just gets sent to the world. And no matter how bad it is, it can really terrify other kids and possibly harm themselves because of a mean video/gore/mean comment. This also shows that the security system of this app is down-bad trash. I still see this app as an amazing and addicting showcase but most of it is just rubbish. I recommend doing another ban wave but this time, TikTok employees actually watch them in reality and maybe ban them. I really do think TikTok should be 17+ based on it’s humor and videos. Because it doesn’t feel like a safe app even though fanpages and other account share their personal things on TikTok. (sexuality, age, name etc.) To summarise this up. TikTok is an awesome and addicting application but it’s security is bad and it needs a huge update on it. Little kids and old men are like a compatibility between eachother on this app. I could write 4 more paragraphs about this but I assume this’d be too long. Anyways, Thank you for reading.

Good app
Tiktok was brilliant during the lockdown but unfortunately people are loosing interest in the app, with lockdown easing you would think the developers of this app would do more to keep creators interested in the app. You would have got a 5 star rating if when people get reported but the video goes back up that the ban is lifted or when you report someone for harassing me and trolling me you would take action. More needs to be done because tiktok isn’t even following its own guidelines, I have had my address leaked all over that app putting myself and my children at risk, I have been racially abused and so have my children. Why can’t tiktok have people looking more in depth into the videos being made because of you did then you would clearly see what is happening in the video. It has got to a point where I am scared to even go on the fyp thinking what video has made on me, having a video made to attack me ruins my day so most of the time I stay away from the app hence loosing interest, even your top creators who earn you money get attacked, they earn you money and how do you repay them it’s disgusting for an app to allow this. If people had to verify themselves before making an account then the bullies would be caught because that’s the frustrating part

My view of: Tiktok
Tiktok is a wonderful app exploring things like educational videos to edgy relatable humour. There are endless amounts of videos just for you, so you never run out! What’s also good is that it can group certain videos based on what you search and tend to post. For instance, if you follow somebody specific, Tiktok will enhance the frequency of putting them on your for you page. It is incredibly diverse, and there are such different videos but what’s best about it is that there’s content for everybody. For this, Tiktok’s infinite range of content has certainly boosted its popularity. In doing so, Celebrities joined the app.
However, there is a lot of offensive and inappropriate content on Tiktok, and it doesn’t always get noticed. As a matter of fact, Tiktok doesn’t necessarily take down the right things. It can remove certain videos for no reason when there are predators & other dangers that remain unnoticed etc. Which is why I strongly feel this issue should be discussed more often instead of mainly being blindsided. Beyond that, there are a lot of flaws of Tiktok. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
Moreover, Tiktok is an amazing app containing something for everyone, but may not always be beneficial. If said reader were to use Tiktok beware, it may not always be what you’d like. But furthermore enjoy the app, I can guarantee there’s something there you’d like.

Why TikTok is a great app but what you should be aware of
TikTok is a fun way to entertain your day no matter what mood you are in. Happy sad confused you say it. If your wondering TikTok let’s you duet follow people and post videos of your own. You could even become famous if you do good enough. I am not that good at TikTok so I only have around 300 followers but the most famous tiktoker has 113m followers. Don’t be like I’m going to download it now without reading the rest. Because these are the things you could be aware of and could even save your life! If you go to a school don’t put your school logo in the videos because people could figure out where you live by looking at the logo. I have had to delete a lot of my TikToks because I had my school logo in it, you better be more safe then sorry. You should also be aware of that people could talk to you in it and say things like what’s your name where do you live and stuff like that. If that does happen block them immediately before they find out more about you. I hope this review told you that TikTok is fun but could also be a bit dangerous if you are not aware about what your posting. Have a great day but stay safe

Good but has room for improvement.
The basis of the app is good, the functionally and capability is amazing and it’s free! This is something that is pretty good in my honest opinion. There are plenty of clips around the world to watch, with there being billions in total. When you open up the app, you are given the opportunity to select different types of categories of videos that you would like to watch, which is cool. And you can obviously record videos that would earn you fans, and this would overall increase your popularity as a user if people love your content. Everyone has the desire to be inspired and become really famous due to this app, having thousands and millions of followers as a dream. But...this is where it starts to get flakey. There is an abysmal aspect of this app which only degrades it. People with an account and want to become really well known are shattered due to the fact that you can end up with your account getting banned for literally no reason whatsoever! It seems as if you are violating the laws of the app when in reality, no one ever did anything wrong. My weird but somewhat sensical theory as to why this happens is bots. They also watch the clips posted on this app since the developers have no way to check on all of the videos. Somehow, what seems to be totally acceptable and not breaking any laws, is seen differently by the bots. I highly suggest that the developers look into this. Overall, this app has a good feeling to it but needs fixing!

Hi! My name is Emma and I have been on tiktok for long enough to know how it all works. As it has just been Christmas, I got a new phone. This means all my apps got deleted. Including tiktok, on that phone I was able to have 8 accounts online at the same time. It was an update where you could have up to 8 accounts online at a time. I downloaded tiktok again to see if the update was there and still, no update. Please make it so I can have 8 accounts online at a same again. At the moment I can only have 3 online. It’s annoying that I can’t update that but overall, AMAZING app! I love this app so so so much and I can’t stay off the app. It’s absolutely fantastic. There is so much positivity! But.. where’s there’s positivity, there’s negativity. Now, there are a lot of things wrong with the comments section. There is a lot of swearing, racism, homophobic language in the comments. I think you should make it so you can’t say certain words. It would make tiktok a much more fun and positive app for kids. Another thing.. oh wait there isn’t another thing I COULD COMPLAIN ABOUT BC THIS APP IS JUST TOO AMAZING AND PERFECT! ❤️❤️keep up the good work tiktok! I am super satisfied with your app!

It’s the future
Love the Algorithm, it’s very fair and the hashtags do work, my followers are 3 times my insta in just a month already! The kea is to post 4 times a day and make sure the lighting is good and the beginning of the video is less busy, then there is a chance of it going viral, love it and people are also very passionate, never thought my woodworking projects will get 20k in a month, recommend this platform for business to all my friends. As it’s very interactive and user friendly just think that the analytics need to improve as it doesn’t give much info to improve on and learn from, it’s easy to see by the number of views which post has done better, wish there was a way I can see which post has been shared the most on watsap, wish there were suggestions on improving my account on the country that I’m in, such as what times people are more active in the U.K. and best cross over times with other countries if for example: I want to make a post that hit China and U.K. in the same time I’m posting, the number of the watsap shares shows from other people’s account but I can’t see how many times it has been shared on my own posts, you are doing w great job guys, keep on Rocking

TikTok’s whack view of ‘community guidelines’
This is a great app. I spend many hours on it. BUT. There are some disguising, sexist, racist, misogynistic, homophobic, paedophilic videos created by some awful people. Somehow, those videos are allowed to stay up, but when people respond in their own videos, calmly explaining why this is wrong, THOSE are the videos get taken down. And the horrible ones remain up. Somehow the people that stand for black lives matter and feminism and the LBTQ+ community consistently get their videos removed for ‘breaking the continuity guidelines’. But the disgusting videos I mentioned before somehow never ‘break the community guidelines’ and remain up for young people to be influenced by.
I once reported a video of a person who was duetting a video of a girl dancing, who’s reflection got caught in a revealing way. This person who was duetting her was doing so purely to ‘expose’ this poor girl. The girl has deleted that video - so obviously she doesn’t it up. I reported the video that was ‘exposing’ her and apparently it didn’t break any community guidelines. What?? Someone was ‘exposing’ an area that that girl did not want seen. She was also potentially a minor (this is unconfirmed to my knowledge).
I am hugely disappointed in tiktok about this. It leads me to question that, if tiktok supports racist and homophobic and sexist content, maybe tiktok is in fact all of the above.

I got this app because it replaced musically, and I used to have musically and I really missed it. I thought the app would be the same but just a different logo and name, however I was mistaken. I know this is an app designed for people over the age of 13, however that was the same with Musically, but that wasn’t problematic and toxic, TikTok however is the opposite. Little kids are on this app are watching content that they shouldn’t be seeing. Now I love TikTok with all my heart, but I know some changes need to be made. ❤️ Like:
When signing up for TikTok you can choose the kid friendly side of TikTok for younger people to view certain content. And creators can do this to choose who their content is aimed at, like younger audiences. There could also be an option to watch and create content for the more adult side of TikTok. Creators and watchers could easily switch what type of side of TikTok they are on, like the more adult side or the kid friendly side. This is only an idea on how to make TikTok a better place for children and adults. However if this is too hard, maybe you could make it back kid friendly app.
I would 100% appreciate it if you would reply and make some changes, even if it’s not my suggestion/s it would still make TikTok better, however I still love TikTok and you have still done an amazing job! ❤️❤️

this tic tok app is amazing i love the way it is layed out and it has a nice dm ( direct message) system that i can talk to my friends and it is enjoyable, if i am bored i go on to tic tok and i would do a dance or whatever’s on there that i find interesting and just plain fun i recommend it to anyone. i do get there is children that are faking there ages but there is some that i think even children might find fun to do and with this co-vid19 going on, children can do it at there houses and tic tok is not embarrassing it is a big thing with a big community that comes with it and i am a music geek and there’s alot of songs that i like and i download them because there just so good. also some families do this as a little bit of family time, my friend always told me that my tic toks are cringy but i see them as memories i can see my first one and it was bad but it takes me down memory lane and i remember how i did it and there is one feature that i like the most is when your recording you can do x 2 or x3 slowing it down makes it much easier and i dread to think how long it must of taken to make such a great app the doveleper ( cant spell) went in to soo much detail in the app and i like alot of stuff that is funny and it makes me laugh so many times in one day and i live in the uk and were on lockdown and tic tok helps me because when i am feeling blue tic tok makes me laugh soooooo hard and while i am doing work i have to have my phone or ipad next to me

Great but...
TikTok is a great app and I have so much fun but sadly TikTok does nothing of your getting bullied. Also my friend wore a sports bra in one of her videos and it got took down but when someone is in a bikini it’s ok? Also you get so much hate if you have AirPods because everyone thinks your trying to flex but TikTok still do nothing about it. Also I did a diy with scissors and it got took down for violence???? My old account was took down for no reason so I had to start from scratch. It’s also really hard for kids to get fans so I think TikTok should put more kids on the fyp ( For you Page ) It would honestly make their day because it means the world to kids if they get lots of likes. In addition from that put kids on the fyp maybe kids with weird teeth, fat, skinny, bald and more because little kids are the exact same as the adults. Also in addition to that, some kids might stay until there adults and if they get famous older they will think oh it’s cause I’m an adult. So give the kids a chance cause they will probably stay longer and even longer if they have fans. Also if you change the name back to musically and make it red and change the logo to musically people might think musically is back and be happy and they will think its musically doing the updates and they will think the updates are good because they think it’s musically because when you TikTok do an update everyone complains because it’s TikTok.

Fab but...
I have been on the app for a while (when it was musically) and it has changed a lot of changes throughout my time on the app.
I really enjoy the app and how you can react and duet with/to people and also like how you can add emojis and effects. However, I think it is basically becoming an app exactly like funimate and like. A problem that I don’t like is that on your settings you can change it to if you want people to be able to react, duet and save your videos and with private if you select it than it’s still only you that can do it. The only way to be able to duet someone private is if they tag you and if someone has made like a this or that video and they’d like people to use it you can’t. Another problem is that for 2 of my friends private accounts it will not let me request them. I go onto their account and request it but when I go back to the account it unrequests it and I’m not able to see my friends videos. I understand that this isn’t a problem that everyone gets so that’s why I’m confused. Yet another negative comment is that you cannot duet videos with sounds more than 15 seconds and when I try to make my own comedy sound or something it only lets me do 15 seconds which is really annoying. I am also one of the people that really misses the app musically and do not understand how tik tok relates to it. I am sorry to say but I’ll have to give it a rating of 3. Other then these problems fun and awesome app!
