Apparently free delivery but this doesn’t include mainland Scotland? Like seriously?
Spoke to an agent on the phone who said - and I’m not kidding here - that because Scotland is a different country and the item is in the Nottingham warehouse this cost is for ‘overseas’ shipping. Wild.

Worst app to be ever made

App is absolutely atrocious you can’t check out because of all the bugs when your scrolling it kicks you off the app keeps asking if your a bot every 30 seconds I had a basket full of stuff worth up to £300 but now I am deleting and will not be purchasing. this app it’s by far the most infuriating app since flappy birds

Forced to pay £1 donation at checkout

I was disappointed almost to the point of cancelling the order to find an enforced donation of £1 to Shelter who are a charity but also a political lobby group who have some policies I strongly disagree with. There wasn’t an option to opt out of this donation and I think it’s fundamentally wrong for a commercial business like wayfair to enforce a donation on customers when customers may have their own charitable priorities closer to their own values and beliefs. If a business wants to support a charity it should do so by donating a part of its own profits and not enforcing a donation on its customers. I’d go as far to say that it’s immoral and wrong and if it’s not written into the terms and conditions of purchase (which as far as I can see it isn’t) it’s also illegal.
I’m not politically active I’m just a normal customer with a view. I’d appreciate reimbursement and also request that wayfair re-examines it’s policy on enforced donations.

Slow and a bug

Unfair not Wayfair. Exceptionally slow payment gateway, 15 mins so far from payment approved in bank app to confirmation of order…had to repeat when it timed out. Recently viewed items…Sorry, something went wrong. Errors retrieving Favourites, have to Try Again. Slow to refresh the page to show each product, needs more dilithium crystals in the servers. 6000 cushions but only 20 presented, on a loop. Unable to store a new Delivery Address because the phone number (landline or mobile) format was not accepted…had to use website to store it before order completion. Also, the Chair and Armchair product description are inconsistent regarding measurements, this has not changed in at least 5 years…a Product description review is required. Online Retail failure, yet I still bought items using this App !

Great variety of stuff for the home

On the whole I really like what Wayfair offers. The website is well designed so you can check options and measurements as required. Also there are a lot of options. So many different types of storage and shelving or whatever and that’s terrific.
Wayfair is cheap and cheerful. Nevertheless the few items I have bought are practical and well designed. But be aware that mostly their products are built down to a price. That’s all good as far as I’m concerned.
My only complaint is some instructions are a bit minimal. Great for engineers or furniture designers not so much for consumers. Putting together their corner shelves was a bit like putting together a moderately difficult jigsaw.
Regardless, excellent and convenient supplier of stuff for the home.

Terrible app that on ipad

The app freezes frequently. This is the only app I’ve ever come across where you need to calibrate the rotations of the screen, which is fine, if it isn’t bugged like this app. Constantly flashes with the calibration screen, eventually the calibration screen will take over the screen and then refuse to work after that. Seems like this calibration cause the app to freeze and be slow. Shame, app works fine on iPhone but ipad is bugged to hell. Becomes unusable. All I want to do is browse and purchase furniture, this screen Rotation calibration seems completely unnecessary, would be fine if it didn’t bug out and effect the whole app. Disappointing.

Beautiful goods, dysfunctional app and web site

I’ve recently ordered and received some beautiful bed linen but every time I’ve tried to order using the website or the app my phone number isn’t recognised (neither mobile nor landline) or my billing address has something missing. (It didn’t!).
I’ve had to resort to phoning my orders in. However, the customer service lady was wonderful and went out of her way to help me.
Today, I’ve tried to order again and the same problems occurred.
Please rectify this as there are lots of other orders I’d like to make if the process was easier.

Ridiculous commotion

I bought a sofa and it defaulted to my old address. I called IMMEDIATELY to change address: could NOT be done. The order had to be cancelled, then wait for refund to appear on account (I used gift vouchers). By the time I done that, the side price had increased by £60. Wayfair wouldn’t do anything about it and didn’t try to make it easier for me. There was one customer service lady, Gillian, who really saved Wayfair after several calls to chase the refund, enquire in price, etc. an absolute shambles of a set up though, a simple delivery change cost a day and an extra £60. Such a ridiculous set up and massive invonvinience

Parts missing and no offer of discount

Really disappointed with my first experience with Wayfair. Purchased a 55” tv table and it had parts missing. Unfortunately because I have started assembling the item I can’t return it and it’s now discontinued. I asked for some discount so I could actually try and modify or add some parts to make it work but was told in a nice way they could no longer help me. So I am paying full price for and a 1/5 in parts missing! If you bought a car and the wheels were missing I am sure the customer wouldn’t mind would they? It’s not like they need them. Unbelievable, but we’re told they do care about customer satisfaction. I don’t think you do!

User friendly app

The app gives you a Very convenient and enjoyable online shopping experience. If the clearing of basket function on phone can be improved then it’s a 5 star app- as it takes long time taking out the products added but not proceeding to buy, specially if your basket has lots of items! For example I was looking for an option like select the products to remove before proceeding for the final order placement. Thanks

Love Wayfair but laggy app

I have furnished my entire home with Wayfair. It’s my no. 1 place for affordable furniture and home accessories. However the app is terribly slow. It’s so laggy. I’ll delete an item from my basket but it won’t show as removed unless I force close the app and open it again. It takes forever to load new screens. I once had an order payment go through but because the app lagged so much it didn’t t go through on Wayfairs side which meant I had to wait for a refund before trying again. It’s frustrating but that’s no criticism on the company itself. I just wish the app wasn’t so slow.

Works well when it works

There seems to be an ongoing, intermittent error with the app. If you go to Clearance or Open-Box section under Sale, and try to sort items by price, it doesn’t put things in order. It will have a couple items at the top of the list that are cheap but there are expensive ones mixed in so it seems more random than anything. Also under these categories nearly every item you click on is out of stock which is annoying as you don’t know till you try and find out more. If it’s out of stock Wayfair should have it marked on the thumbnail of the image or remove it from the Sale section altogether. This happens intermittently, like I said, sometimes the app will work great for months and then I’ll go to check and it’s all wonky again.

Yet another woeful experience with Wayfair

The choice and selection at Wayfair is great and we’ve been able to use it to find a lot to fill our house.
My problem is just how difficult and awkward the app and website is. They are slow, unstable, require frequent restarting. There is no point putting in the heights you need for the furniture, it entirely ignores them. It seems to have entirely forgotten my usual email, despite using three times in the last 6 months, I have ended up having to set up another account.
All very infuriating and unnecessarily difficult.

Making their problem mine!!

Whilst awaiting delivery of a purchase I checked the app as it seemed to be delayed. To my surprise rather than being on route as expected it was now delayed by 6 weeks. No update, no communication to let me know! The delivery date would be after the item is needed so I tried to cancel only to be told it’s on its way so I can’t have a refund till I receive it and return it. To add insult to injury I can have a free return?! Like that does me any favours! So delivery apparently takes 7 weeks as opposed to 7 days?!?! Meanwhile I have no item and they keep my money. Unacceptable and making your supplier problem mine.

I must say Wayfair have surprised me a few times with their excellent customer service and communication. You forget how much crap you put up with from other companies until someone like Wayfair comes along. I had an issue with an item almost a year after I bought it and Wayfair did everything they could and quickly to get it resolved. One very happy and loyal customer!

MY WAY OR WAYFAIR

It’s hard to say if I love things the Wayfair way or if it’s just that Wayfair have things the way I like things. I never give 5 Stars as no one gets things totally My Way but Wayfair are very close to getting it right! They offer a very good range with a wide variety, a great sense of humour and a sense of style or wrapped up under one roof. My only issue is I can’t touch it before I buy it, like all online shopping I don’t get that feel for the product. There is no way to know what the product feels like. Now we all know that doesn’t matter when it comes to metal and wood but for me the feel of my bed sheets, my cushions, my rugs, my blankets is so important!! My Wayfair way to bring Wayfair up to a 5 star experience would be to offer a texture experience to your customers. I would buy more if I had the option of a texture experience wouldn’t you??? WAYFAIR YOU ARE SO NEARLY MY WAY SO NEARLY MY WAYFAIR!!!

Total nightmare Failed delivery then almost impossible to get a refund

STAY AWAY AS IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN THEY ARE THE WORST CUSTOMER AFTER-SALES SERVICE EVER!!!
I ordered a next day delivery of a mattress. It failed to arrive and I was told that it would take 2 weeks to deliver. So I ordered from a different supplier which arrived the next day. Now I want to cancel the order and it is proving impossible as they want me to wait for the item to be delivered and then arrange for a return which is crazy. I don’t want the item. I have spent literally hours trying to cancel it and it seems impossible.
You can’t get through to a manager and it just is insane that you can’t cancel an order. They also refuse to refund me my money. Frankly criminal behaviour.

Customer Service is Great

I’ve ordered quite a few things from Wayfair and I’ve always been pleased with my purchases.
The one time I had to return a large item, the customer service was excellent - the return was organised online. They came to collect from my home and telephoned half an hour before to confirm attendance. They also do the same when delivering (call half an hour before). it’s very well organised and they’re always on time.

I am using the iPhone 11 and I have installed and uninstalled the app loads of times to see if it will work and no luck! Trying to browse through the main shop on app is impossible ... won’t let me tap on categories to narrow my search.. constantly have to use manual search for everything ... it’s in need of serious repair or a major update... I know loads of people who have trouble with the app and end up just deleting app and using it through mobile site!

Really Bad Customer Service and a Dodgy Prices

This company is dreadful I will stop using them. Last year I brought some light fittings used them as instructed with the recommended halogen bulbs. They all broke and one exploded the casing can’t deal with the heat of the bulb and are not fit for purpose unless using led bulbs. Wayfair has not helped no refund nothing. I’ve had to replace all these fitting as they are all screwed into the wall and fitted by an electrician they are now a year later £20 more each! I needed four to replace the three that broke and the one that exploded and damaged my skirting. So annoying going to raise this with trading standard as this product is unsafe. Oh and one of the replacements arrived broken off course! I’ve had awful service from them before where they sent me the wrong table twice. Nothings changed.

Telephone number

Whilst trying to change my address, I was asked to input a telephone number. Took me several attempts to input as I was confused with the + at the start of the input box. Worked it out in what format you needed in the end, but could do with an ‘i’ (information), to be able to access information about how the telephone number should be entered.
Other than that, purchase was easy.

Absolute rubbish

I recently installed the app to buy some office furniture, however when I installed the app I noticed it was telling me how long it would take to have items delivered to an address in London (some 150 miles from my actual home address) when I tried updating the postcode it told me my postcode was not valid. I then logged into the app and tried adding my address to my account in the hope this would solve the issue. However I was again stopped in my track when I tried adding my mobile number to the phone number field it repeatedly told me my number was not valid despite me checking and double checking that I had entered it correctly, and so I was unable to even add my address. If a user cannot enter their details how do you expect people to use your app?

Very poor app performance

While I love the decoration concept of this company and the lovely items they have to offer, I absolutely hate the app’s performance.
Very often, when you want to add or delete an item of a wish list, it goes into error mode; and if it is successful it takes you back to the top of the initial list of items, so you have to start from the beginning!!! That’s incredibly annoying!!!
Also, the performance maintenance is non existent on weekends or bank holidays (which is when most of us have time to shop).
I’ve been trying to add my address for the last 4 days in order to purchase some items and the app went into error every time I tried to add my phone number... that is definitely a put off for clients that actually want to make business.

One of the best designed mobile apps in recent times

This app is perfect and does what a website can do if not more, home shopping made easy we have recently moved to a new house and bought lots of stuff from this website customer service is great. Their business model is simple I think they don’t own any items suppliers do and asking customers review purchases is a great way to encourage competition between suppliers which improves the quality.
The only thing I would say is check if the suppliers are taking enough due diligence with the courier services as I revived one sofa in a very badly condition and I sent photos of this to wayfair waiting for the response
Over all my experience with wayfair is pretty good far. I highly recommend this company.

Two seater settee

Unfortunately I had reason to return a 3 seater settee in faux leather for which I received a credit towards another settee. It was very poorly made and within a few weeks you could feel the springs when sat on that made it very uncomfortable.
However a chose another settee a two seater and the same thing has happened the foam seats are fine but it’s the springs again you just sink into the base .
Everything looks fabulous on the web sight but I am sorry I ever bought from Wayfarer and would not recommend the company. That’s two items in less than 18 months.
It is now several weeks since my second settee was returned to Wayfarer . I have been told I can only have a credit on my account which is over £500 . Having bought and returned 2 settees to Wayfarer I feel very disappointed that I cannot have my money refunded. I am a 78 year old person who does not want a credit note but my hard earned money back. Still very disappointed.

£600 sofa RIP OFF

we bought a faux velvet 3 and 2 seater sofa for £600. I had to change the foam as it was hard to sit on, as I was taking them off leaves and bits of dirt and all sorts where stuck to it the foam it’s self was a load of off cuts GLUED together! Upon doing this I noticed very jagged pieces of wood sticking through, also the gaps on each side (where all your money falls down) had a gap of 3 inches and the other half an inch! Tolerance check?? Nope. It’s isn’t nice to see someone who worked really hard for them then to be upset and never use them. Oh and the cushions they are stuffed with ripped off pieces of cheap foam again and yes dirt and leaves I’m sure they where made by mice due to the droppings EVERYWHERE !! honestly it would of been better if it were made in China.

Care Free Lockdown Shopping

I am unable to go out at all during the Covid-19 Pandemic, due to self isolation and shielding. I have a lot of free time on my hands and discovered Wayfair. I have been looking for a new duvet set and it did not take me long to find one that I fell in love with straight away. I chose the Peony Trail duvet set and extra pillow slips. The colours are stunning and the reviews extremely positive. I thought I would treat myself to an early Birthday present. I have just ordered it today and can’t wait for it to arrive. By the way, what makes it even more attractive, it is currently in the sale. Thank you Wayfair!

Extremely Disappointing Service

If you read the comments section on Facebook - you’ll just read a string of angry comments about Wayfair not issuing refunds and not delivering the goods, or only delivering half the order and then it taking weeks for the rest to arrive.
In my experience I can only say I’m really disappointed. Only half the order has been delivered. Tracking not working in app. Customer Service are polite and apologetic, but no resolution and still no goods.
1. Both items were at the depot at the same time.
2. First delivery attempt they hadn’t even put the item on the van.
3. Second attempt they only sent sent one of the two items despite both items being in the same depot.
4. Now no sign of said second item.
5. Escalated to ‘delivery team’ still no sign of what I ordered.
First order with them and it is the last order with them. I get it’s unprecedented times with CV-19, but looks like its standard behaviour from Wayfair from the multiple comments I’ve read. Wish I’d read them before placing the order.
Extremely disappointed with the service.

Wayfair never fails to score

I’ve been a Wayfair member for nearly a year now, after arriving in the USA from the UK and having to set up home all over again with some main items. After having a brief look I was hooked, everything is displayed perfectly, all grouped, easy to locate all different items.
We started off with deliveries of bed frames, dining table and chairs, chairs for our other table, candle sticks, and now just ordered a chair for my new vanity unit, also from Wayfair and a bench to go at the end of the bed.
Also have the boys desks and rugs, outdoor furniture, deck storage, the list goes on, all delivered on time and if delays are possible they advise you well in advance. If we ever have a problem, as in damaged through delivery, Wayfair have been absolutely fabulous with the replacement or refunds, or discount. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! And I will keep purchasing, when our budget allows (!)

Updating my review to add that still super impressed with Wayfair, we have a new baby on the way and are kitting out with extras that we now find ourselves needing.... dresser for extra storage of clothing, updated lights whilst we have the time! Baby blankets, all ideal solutions for our new requirements. Wayfair NEVER disappoints, best in customer experience and service. You won’t be disappointed ordering anything from here.

Wayfair appraised!

I have used Wayfair on several occasions sometimes with difficulty relating to suppliers not Wayfair.
I have also purchased a rug from elsewhere because I wasn’t prepared to wait for Wayfair to restock the item I couldn’t get.
Each time, and there have been a couple of instances where I panicked because the item was faulty and not sure how Wayfair would respond, after being exceptionally helpful to me at the start of my issue.
Wayfair without question and with no reason to support my issue not only resolved it but also contacted manufacturer and so I didn’t have to wait for items to be replaced they sent new replacements that actually work.
I could go on but I reckon you might think I am working fir Wayfair. I am not but I trust them totally in whatever I purchase from them and that gives me great peace of mind and confidence toward Wayfair. Thank you.

Crushed velvet curtains

Hi..I bought these curtains end of September but have only hung them end of November so disappointed in my purchase the material is lovely delivery was great colour just right 2stars...but finishing off in manufacturing is awful. Bought 4curtains to fit a wide window ...one curtain bit too long..one shorter then other two acceptable..one curtain looks like it’s picture (that’s what I thought I was buying).the other three are hit and miss with crushed pattern quite plain actually...the eyelets at center opening not fitted well therefore don’t hang good..but all these things aren’t seen till they have hung awhile just so disappointing..I see you no longer have these for sale now ?..£125 pounds is a lot of money I did wonder are some items are second quality?

Black Friday No Deal

One of the items I have bought today is listed as a Black Friday deal but the price hasn’t changed for well over a month. We’ve been saving up to purchase some items from Wayfair as we do like the quality of the items we have purchased so far. We thought we would wait until Black Friday as I’m sure many people do to see if we can get a better deal on any items that we have been looking at. In particular we have been looking to purchase a light, when I went onto the App this morning it said ‘Black Friday Deal’ on the light but in actual fact the price hasn’t changed. It’s very misleading and quite disappointing.

Not working properly anymore

Since a few days I’ve been experiencing a problem which is quiete annoying. I can search for products and everything but as soon as I try to open the product it shows ‘We're sorry! We couldn’t find any results for ‘KEY(then a random number)’ So I basically can only see them in the preview but I cannot open it nor try to order the Product. I logged out of the account and I even uninstalled and re downloaded it but still Didn’t fix the problem. Any information on how to fix the problem?

Great Company

I have bought a few items from Wayfair, and have been pleased with most of my purchases, and the odd one I wasn’t happy with, it just didn’t go in my room there was nothing actually wrong with it. I have just spoken to an American lady in customer services, who was absolutely lovely and helpful and has sorted out my pick up return refund.
I highly recommend this company for there good quality products and fantastic customer service.

Great company but annoying app!

Really like Wayfair - they have great choice of everything at all price ranges and have found delivery excellent.
For some reason on the app, it lists what you’ve searched for but there are loads of items that when you clink on you get a message saying ‘we’re sorry, we couldn’t find any results for ....’
Why list it as an option if it’s not available?? When you’re searching for things this takes up loads of time and is really frustrating - please sort out!!

Ok but could make simple improvements

Loads of choice, easy to select and save favourites however once products are ordered it goes down hill.
So far waiting for an order that’s now delayed by a month, a second item that told me I could have it 3 days later but it’s now been a week and a half with no sign so far.
The email button doesn’t work to contact so need to call but the centre but rings for ages and closes at 7...

Exceptional customer service

I ordered a garden furniture set which wasn’t as it was described when we unpacked it . Simply the cushions were cream on the photos but grey when they arrived. When I rang to query it I spoke to the most helpful customer service rep that I’ve ever dealt with. He was courteous understanding and extremely helpful. He tried his best to resolve the problem and looked into all possible options but sadly we couldn’t do anything but return the large item. He sorted out the collection the finance cancellation and a full refund without quibble and everything went smoothly. There was communication with me every step of the way and I can only say good things about this company and their policies. I have just ordered some more furniture which is very reasonably priced and have the peace of mind to know that I don’t have to worry about anything. Great company.👍

App really has issues

I shop at wayfair a lot as a business customer so I downloaded the app for quick and easy on the go access. Far from it. Using the app is a nightmare. It’s supposed to be always logged in but it’s not. Even when it shows me as logged in, my order history doesn’t show up, I have to log out and back in again for the order history to appear. Items in the order history take forever to load and sometimes don’t load at all. It’s so problematic I have had to resort to just logging into my account using my phone browser safari, where I don’t experience any of those issues which confirms that the problem is with the app and not the site or anything on my end. I’ve basically just deleted the app as ive found it to be basically useless.

Didn’t receive my last order

I didn’t receive my last order which I placed for my mother using my credit card. Unfortunately I reviewed the item before I received it as I had ordered similar item prior to this, so was unable to do anything about this. Will make sure I receive items and even though I received a 2 or 3 star service previously from Wayfair I always gave them a 5 star because of my kind nature. One lost star

I really like this shop and this is potentially such a good app. It lost a star though because of a real bugbear.
I’ll often put a search in, and baring in mind it’s not always simple to find what your looking for or put in the right description, you’ll then give me a list of items, and half down the list the App will turn off and I have to go back on it and start from the beginning again. I’ve yet to get to the bottom of a list of products. I wouldn’t be happy if I was one of your suppliers. In the end I usually give up. Which means I never see all you have to offer.

Good Shopping

I being a male should not advertise that I read catalogs. Doesn’t work

I downloaded this app when advertised on Facebook. But I immediately have issues.
Firstly the products listed on Facebook do not open through the app, I suppose you have to manually search for them? I’m pressing on an add from Facebook just causes the app to crash and become virtually unresponsive, it causes app switching to not work properly and keeps reopening the Wayfair app again when your trying to force close it or just switch to another app.
So as the app appears useless, it’s just going to be uninstalled.
It also seems that the app blocks the skip options for notifications or became unresponsive when I tried to skip. This was from opening the app directly.
Seems very buggy, don’t understand all the good reviews?

Great app.

Having recently moved house and updating quite a bit of our furniture I was glad that I came across Wayfair. I have bought half a dozen pieces from a dressing table to display units to a TV unit and other smaller pieces. I have not been disappointed. Everything I have bought has been quality while being great value. Also any questions or queries I have had have been answered promptly and professionally. It's great having such a variety of products at your finger tips. I would highly recommend this app.

Bad!

Ordered lamp, it was damaged. Went on account to return it but it only showed lamp still in process of being ordered-clearly wrong. Spent ages to find email address to contact someone, eventually find it! Wrote trying to return lamp etc and got reply!!! SAYING I could have monetary refund to get lamp fixed OR go on my account to return lamp - hooray I’ll do that, I thought BUT WHEN I SIGNED INTO MY ACCOUNT THE LAMP IS STILL IN THE PROCESS OF BEING BROUGHT ....,I can see this going to be one of those CIRCLE life things that had no end 😔HELP !!!!

Technical problems

I buy a lot from Wayfair and the app is making the shopping experience very difficult. I can’t log into my account and every time i browse on your website I need to change my password. Not sure if other customers are having similar issues but when I called your customer support team they weren’t much of a help. Unlike any other of my queries whiche have been always andwered and reaolved. I would like to continue shopping with you but it’s a massive problem. Also browser isn’t great, the app gets stuck and can’t find certain phrase, asking to contact your customer service. Please, please make improvements to keep your loyal customers happy.

View in Room feature could be better

The main problem I found with this was when there were different colours/options of an item eg wallpaper it wouldn’t show the colour you selected so made the view in room partially useless. I would recommend to the app makers to look at the Dulux as they have a similar feature that works better as if fills in the whole wall instead of showing a swatch out of scale. I know particularly with wallpaper and similar items with a pattern using the camera that unless you input the walls dimensions your not going to get an accurate display but the swatch just seemed overly large.
However if they can fix the colour at least you can get an idea of whether

Really impressed!

I used to default to Next or Dunelm for my home furnishings but now I default to Wayfair.
I sometimes compare items that are available on Wayfair to similar items that are available from Next and Dunelm and I always go with Wayfair.
All the deliveries that I have had so far have all arrived at least 2 days before the anticipated delivery date - well done Wayfair and thanks for having such lovely items available for me to buy and feed my shopping habit :)

The vast amount of product and range available is second to none. I love the price ranges that are offered, meaning most people's budgets are suited. All of the products I have ordered have arrived quickly or as stated and I have always been pleased with my order.
The call staff are friendly and have resolved any issue quickly.

An excellent site

Easy to use, a vast choice, all in one app. and best of all for a rural dweller, fast delivery, usually within a week rather than the 10 weeks from our local shops..
as for quality..as ever you get what you pay for.. it is mostly good middle of the road quality, certainly functional, delivered swiftly.. and as so many folk like to change the look of their home every few years, the fact that an item might not last 30 to 300 years, Is of no consequence. If you want to buy an heirloom piece costing thousands, you don’t shop using the Wayfair app.
