Some key functionality missing.
A really useful tool, but seems to ditch formulae when duplicating spreadsheets, and doesn’t link between sheets as easily as the desktop version. Can not freeze panes, which is a shame.
Ability to share sheets and access from anywhere is great.

Very good, with a VERY BIG BUT
A good mini spreadsheet with a really annoying bug that never seems to be dealt with!
I cannot get British date formats.
3/11 is shown as 11 March and not the British version of 3 November.
This is getting really annoying.
I’ve reported this on umpteen occasions, but no change. I install ALL the updates I’m presented with. Then I check the date formats in the hope that, maybe just maybe, this one will fix the problem.
Come on guys, sort this problem out!!!

I’ve used Excel for years at pretty high levels in business. Google Sheets is superb. Using it on my iPad is intuitive and so much better than paying. Thank you Google ❤️

Rubbish. Doesn’t load the drop downs, not always easy to load sheets, and is based off Google sheets, which is in itself, rubbish. Wouldn’t bother if I didn’t have to. I can’t believe that a company the size of Google with all the people who would want to work there offers this as its best effort.

I use this app everyday!
I cannot really fault this app, it serves me very well both with work spreadsheets and personal indexing.
If I had to query - is there anyway that the software could automatically shrink the spreadsheet to the used cell space, and therefore help with load time when it’s heavy with content? As it is cloud based
Also, is there anyway to add cell navigation into the hot keys that appear above keyboard, or even a swipe function (for phones and tablets) as this would speed up value input rather than selecting cells each time - or maybe I am just missing something that already exists.

Looked ok to open a sheet, add content, edit content -formatting etc. Then hunted and hunted for copy/paste. Couldn’t find it anywhere! WHAT???

With the recent update I now can no longer copy text from a view only document I have been using for months. Way to go, fix bugs and ruin a major part of the app

Inconsistent app
I use Sheets as a cross platform spreadsheet programme, so I can add new info from my Samsung phone, iPad or iMac.
Problem is that on my iPad, the app opens at the first available tab on the extreme left, each tab being a month on the current year. Consequently I have to slide across to the correct month tab on the far right. This is very annoying because it doesn’t happen on my Samsung version of the Sheets app.
Another annoying issue in the context of my use is the limited date formats on the app and the inability to fill down dates in the format I like - day, date and month. Only on the iMac programme of Sheets can I select this date format and replicate dates for the new month. Inconsistency that I find irritating.

Spreadsheets disappeared

Incomplete copy of numbers .xls spreadsheets
Is it me?
This used to work ok for me but lately it will only partially display
sheets copied from iOS Notes when they are exported as xls files. Has Apple done another update which causes this or is it a Google thing.
