I love this game…
…but I HATE the new 10-year anniversary music. It’s just awful. I loved the old sound effects and music when a game was won - it added to the sense of achievement. Now it’s replaced with bland, lift muzak.

Pathetic cash grab.
When you first download this game it’s colourful and fun.
But you soon realise it’s a total cash grab. Everything costs.
The AI of the game actually works completely against the player. Any level ups are used in seconds to encourage you to pay.

Too many adverts
I know they need to make money, something has changed you need to watch six 30s adverts to win enough power ups to win a game, sometimes even that isn’t enough. KING you need to look into this, yes make us watch some adverts but not that many ALL the time! Make them 5-10s ads at the most! If you can’t stand ads play Kingdom Rush instead - no adverts and you can still win!

You’ve Broken It
It keeps crashing. Mainly as I’m about to win a level. Sometimes I win a level, crash, I have to play it again. Especially annoying if you’ve used boosters you’ve paid for. No one at King answers queries. It’s a big con.

Latest update takes all the fun away
Has been my favourite until recently. The latest changes now make even the ‘easy’ levels take multiple tries and eventually make you use your hard-won (or more to the point, purchased) power-ups.
- Gone are the levels that allow you to win power-ups
- Gone are the random ‘Second Chance if you watch an advert’ options
- You earn a power-up bottle for each completed level but now lose them all if you lose just one level.
No enjoyment now, just frustration - time to find a new favourite after all these years and uninstall.

Frequently losing boosters
I enjoy this game and think it’s fairer to its players than many other games. But I’ve lost count how many times I’ve deleted the app in disgust and had to restart because I kept losing my boosters. I’d finish a level, go away and open another app on my ipad, and when I came back I found the game I had last won had been treated as a loss. This also happens when the app freezes. When it comes back the level I was on is counted as a loss.

Great game
Love this game but always seem to get stuck so seem to hop along in small bursts at present I'm absolutely stuck on a level and cannot for the life of me get the last couple of pieces to finish the level and I'm well over the 300 Marlon spins if I was to pay. The introduction of losing all bottles after a loss makes a hard level almost impossible to pass now. Clearly a money making scheme and one I won’t fall for. Obviously only care about the money and not the people playing and enjoying the game

Getting deleted
After playing this game for YEARS, I am going to delete all versions because of the following reasons:
1. Is something happens and you have to switch between your apps i.e. you have a call, the game restarts and not only you lose your activity but actual boosts that you’ve earned through playing for hours. Do the developers expect us to only play these games and put everything else on halt?
2. previously we used to gain quite a lot by playing the game but in the few recent years they only effective way to get anything is via purchasing. I don’t mind spending a bit of money on games but the boosts won’t even last long since the difficulty of the levels is unbeatable (sometimes taking days) and without winning there’s no satisfaction in playing
Because of these reasons and after years of memories with these games sadly I’ll have to leave

Freezes
I Agee with so many complaints here. The game freezes after I’ve chosen a booster, watched three consecutive ads and then I have to come back a long time later having wasted my chosen booster and not received earned ones. It is becoming unplayable. Why can’t it be sorted. It ain’t rocket science.

Love this game and am really enjoying the new updates but I’m finding it a has a few bugs, mostly while playing Shipmates. It takes ages to find an opponent, then when it does it’s goes straight to ‘Times up, captain’ without even playing the game. Please fix 🙏

Disappointing fast
Started off well, seamed fun and easy and I loved wizzing though the levels but that all changed quickly once getting past level 50… I’ve used up all my gold bars and refuse to spend any money on this game. Been stuck on level 57 for days, took days to get past level 53, (used the gold bars to work my way from 53 up to 57) considering there’s 100s and 100s of levels, already I’m completely put off and sick. This should still be easy. Instead this is now the opposite of fun. It’s just frustrating and now I’m bored and p*ssed off. If I can’t get past this level within the next try then I’m deleting the game. Just a waste of time and like I said just not fun! So just a warning don’t bother, better games out there

The levels are becoming so hard the only way out is to buy extra lives.. Fun for a while…
It’s initially fun but then you start to realise how the game is designed…. It’ll throw you levels that are absolutely impossible in an attempt to get you to spend money. Eventually, it’ll let you past the level but it’s not because of skill, it’ll be because the whole board blows up over and over… At the end of a game if you lose, you can use whatever the credits are called to get extra lives - when you do that, you suddenly get incredibly lucky and are almost guaranteed to win…
Once you realise you’re not really playing a fair, random game and that everything is designed to funnel you towards paying money, the fun goes away very quickly.

I used to love this game but now there’s so many events going on I spend half my time in the app closing events I don’t care about, ads and other irritating pop ups. Just go back to the basic game which is what we all actually got the game for.
Also.. the game crashes so much at the moment. The game just freezes on me all the time. Sometimes on the opening loading screen, sometimes mid game, sometimes in the menus. It’s REALLY annoying. Close to deleting if an update doesn’t come soon to fix all of the above

Here’s some news advertisers! You are probably paying more for a 30 second ad than for a 5 second ad. I will never buy from a company tormenting me with having to watch the same add, 3 x 30 seconds just to get 5 extra moves! I just leave the ad playing and get on with something else versus the 5 second ones!
Also the games are getting so dull and boring now. Teddy bear hunt after Teddy bear hunt - no imagination. Still very addictive though. But I think I’m going to ween myself off it due to the wasted life of ads!

Game keeps freezing
Love this game and have been playing for years. Over the last two days the game freezes as soon as it’s loaded making it unplayable. Luckily it registers me as playing a new day otherwise I would be very cross if registered as missing a day. If this happens I will delete the game as I will not start again from scratch. I’m almost up to level 2800 . Please sort out this problem.

Ruined by the adverts - seriously sort it out!!
I’ve enjoyed playing this game for some time but recently the adverts have totally ruined it
A lot of the adverts have a countdown wheel that finishes way too early so you’re left guessing how long the advert is supposed to be. If you go too early you lose the bonus.
Other adverts have opened a blank black screen that you have to exit the game and clear cache to remove.
Either way it’s a total waste of time and really annoying.
Accepted the adverts are optional but at least make sure they do what they’re supposed to do!

Bright idea!!
Hi!! I have an idea! It involves you making money by tricking the user into paying even more money to play. It’s along the same lines as what you already do by popping a ‘pay to play’ button in GREEN. My idea is to swap the ‘x’ button in the top right hand corner around with a ‘pay money’ button! Genius right?! Users are so used to clicking the ‘x’ button to move on to the next game that they’ll press it automatically… this costing them money. Oh and also, how about reducing the piggy banks ‘full’ down again?! You’ve already reduced it from 100 to 30 and charging the earth for it so, why not reduce the coins to about 5 or something and charge the equivalent to a pound a coin?! This way, users will most probably be paying, on average around 2 quid a game.. if not adults, it’ll definitely trick the kids and you would be quids in! No need to thank me, I can see how you progress already so you most probably have most of my ideas in the pipeline.

Was good whilst it lasted
I’ve loved playing this game but I’m beaten. After level 700 it’s nearly impossible to keep up a rainbow streak. Was playing this one game I think I just have attempted it over 60 times and it’s taking too much time off me now. Got a little one so a little game here and there was fun but when you can’t get passed a level and your playing the same game over and over it becomes a bore and you spend hours on the same game not even joking I’ve been at it nearly 2 hours. Some of these ultra hard levels are so tough it would take me days to do it then all of a sudden I’ve passed it first time. Bit weird that. Overall good game but you need a lot of patience and time on your hands but if you get bored of playing the same game over and over it’s not for you.

Come Up With Something New!
I’ve been playing this game on a daily basis for several years now (level 3558) and one of the most annoying and pointless extras is the Episode Races. Please stop them and change it for something new. There was an option to opt out of them, but that’s been removed since the last update.
The app is also not working properly on so many levels now, or the developers are getting lazy. There are glitches on so many levels now with exploding candies or striped candies not being created when they should be or are not clearing lines when they should be. There are glitches on jam levels, where the jam appears outside the actual playing area as well. I’m beginning to think this is on purpose, so that players can’t win properly to force them to pay for additional items.
Used to be a great game, but could be much better.

Upset.
I love this game and play for fun. Don’t want to compete with other players. For months now I have not been able to play because the game will not open or opens then shuts down. Sometimes will open, let me get things for that day including free lives for an hour, may even let me play for a few seconds then shuts down. I have tried all sorts to see if I can get it to open properly without any luck. Won’t even let me delete the game.

Disappointed
Very disappointed after playing it for a while. Games cheats a lot. Game has features which stops you from finishing the task. Take time to make a perfect candy to make a winning move but game will take controls and starts making moves which destroy not only the move but the chances to win. It seems like they make you lose so much that you are forced to buy candies which helps you win the game. Miss the old version where it was delightful to make a candy and then use it win the game. Now candies starts popping up from no where and makes moves for defeat.

Should rename the game candy crash
Have played this game for many years but now recent updates have resulted in numerous crashes, this gets to be really annoying when looks like you are going to pass a hard/super hard/ultra hard level.
The latest updates have made this game virtually unplayable for all but recent iOS, now crashes every end of level. The developers obviously don’t care and only concentrate on adding more useless extras to the game. Certainly not worth buying any in game specials as the frequent crashes will just use them up without helping you to pass a level.

RIGGED GLITCH
I’ve been a loyal daily player for many years, a total addict and never had any real issues until recently. I don’t know if it’s a coincidental glitch or if you guys have decided to rig the game but I keep getting thrown off the game just as I’m about to win a level. Not only is it extremely annoying but it’s costing me boosters, prizes, gold pins and now my chef’s hat in the bakery too. It’s completely ruining my experience and causing a lot of frustration, especially for a game that’s supposed to be fun and relaxing. Normally I’d have given 5 stars but I’m being thrown off way too often now and it’s impacting my game play so much that I can’t give you any more than 2. If it doesn’t get fixed, I’m gonna have to delete the app.

Slow to progress
So I’ve had three of the Candy Crush saga games for some time and whilst the games on Soda are interesting and engaging most levels have far to few moves to complete them unless you get a lucky board or buy boosters. Unlike other Candy Crush games where you get daily rewards you can keep to use as and when, on here you get a booster for a limited time but can only use it there and then when you open the app which is not always practical. This makes progressing through the levels extremely slow and pretty tedious. Why you can’t get rewards to keep I don’t know. Come on King stop being so stingey!

Game closing on me. Affecting gameplay
The games great. Can’t argue with that, i’ll be sat on it for ages and get the 5 level streak power-ups. However, this has happened to me every time i’m on the game for some time and I’m mid level- the app decides it wants to close itself. Upon opening the game again, I lose any power-ups I had before to help me with future levels and without these it makes it so much harder to beat the levels (this is especially frustrating when I’m in the races and all I want to do is come 1st place.) Sure I could restart the game myself every once in a while and maybe that would solve the issue I’m having- but it shouldn’t happen, and there is no telling When it is going to occur. Please fix this as it is extremely annoying and I lose the fun in the game having to repeat your levels over and over.
It would definitely be a 5 star seeing as I’ve done over 100 levels in the past 2 days. But sadly that’s not the case.

CRASHING AFTER EVERY GAME
Been playing a long time but recently it crashes after nearly every game and doesn't always save progress. Fine when playing the 'bake a cake' game. Please sort this out soon
Two weeks later and is now also crashing during games and spins the screen upside down! Please sort it out, it's making the game unplayable
Dropping this to one star now as it's crashing while games are loading, losing any boosters that I've chosen for that game. It also crashes every time Kimmy's arcade tries to load so don't get to play that anymore. This is getting ridiculous
JUNE 2022 - I stopped playing and went over to try candy crush Jelly. It's so much better, loads properly and does everything it should with no problems. You can play your own game and race against others for rewards and you can play against other players one to one.
I popped back here today hopeful that it's been fixed, but NO. Opened the first screen then CRASHED. Didn't even get to the game. Don't waste your time on this game

I’ve been playing this game for years now and have always enjoyed it. I have managed to accumulate a nice bunch of boosters and I’m currently on my third week of player of the week to win overall. I’m also top of the leader board on Kimmys canon ball run However, over the past few days it has been a bit glitchy and today I can’t log in either on my phone or iPad, it just keeps saying ’cannot connect to server please try later’. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that doesn’t work. Please fix this as I don’t want to lose everything!

I loved this game, but everything always has to be taken away.
I loved this game. The formula was so simple and I loved. Nothing unnecessary or something to distract you. It was fun. Just plain fun. But of course it happened. Like a bunch of other games I have, I’ve just lost the fun in it. There’s so many paywalls, so many events and things going on that it takes ages until I can play an actual. I personally aren’t the biggest fan of these events. I don’t necessarily mind but sometimes for me it’s just a distraction from the main game. And there are so many things they added which are unnecessary. Rainbow Streak, Numerous Difficulty, No World Map and changing when different play styles come in, entire levels and maybe worlds and so much more. And while things like Rainbow Streak can help you, the levels are just getting harder or to easy. Some levels can be done in under 3 moves with rainbow streak and some levels are just annoying and just draw you away. And stop changing the levels! They were perfectly fine back when the game was fun back in times like 2016 or maybe later. This game was fun. Was fun. WAS. But the fun for me is lost. They even added ads. They are optional and do help though. And one thing I find annoying is when you beat a really hard level first try, but you exit too early then you lose the level, gold pin and rainbow streak. It’s my fault for leaving, but shouldn’t it be a gold pin from the moment you beat the level? Anyway, 6 out of 10 for me

This game is endlessy fun with many chances to pass so many levels that easily and get a high score it’s more fun when you play with your friends that way you can also make it challenge to beat them first and see who gets to the top, i would come home to play this game for hours because it is legit that addictive and I guarantee you, you won’t regret. You can unlock so many different boosters and play in many events and join teams to help your team get first place it is just one of the most phenomenal games I have ever played, I promise you you’ll love it

Give up
Update 12th May 2022 now crashing as I open the game I can't play this anymore. I've got so far so not happy 😢 on iOS 10.3 so should be still operational..
Update 9th May 2022.....constant crashing freezing and crashes when trying to purchase extra life's and during a game. Seems I'm not the only one. It states iOS 9 and above so it should working BUT it's not. Really fed up with it...
Loved this game and others in the candy crush sagas until this latest update. Same problem as below review...sluggish. Could only log in via FB but doing this has lost me all my candy friends and comps and my boosters all gone!!. Will be deleting this.

Having problems
I enjoy this game but lately i’ve been having problems with it. Whenever i’ve finished the odd level, the game goes off until my phone returns to the homescreen and then when i go back on the game, it shows that i have to do the level all over again, even though i had completed it the first time. It’s getting frustrating, especially when it’s a hard level that took me hours or even over a day to complete. Please fix this, because i’m close to just giving up on playing the game all together.

Unlimited hearts
Good game but every benefit i get i never get to take advantage of. I play when I've got a bit of spare time at night and i always get unlimited hearts or unlimited boosts barely an hour before bed which means i don't get to use them because you automatically add them as soon as they’re opened and then are gone before I'm awake. If we’re playing and earning these then we should have an option to save them to an inventory to click on and apply when we need or want them. You'd of thought a game as big as this would already have that in place. Massive let down and also games should be saved when the app is shut down because sometimes a heavy level with a lot of animation will cause phones to crash and stop the app and we loose everything.

Constant Crashing!!
I first had this downloaded 8yrs ago on my v.old phone and removed it because it constantly crashed. I saw an advert recently whilst playing another game and decided to download it again because I really enjoyed it! It seems these past 8yrs the developers still haven’t rectified the crashing issue. Like just when you complete a level it goes off and when you go back on it doesn’t acknowledge that you’ve just won and end up losing your rainbow streak. Had a good couple of games but I’m bored of the crashing now. Back to Toon Blast I go (that never has problems, fyi)

Why have you changed Candy Crush Saga Have know idea what I am doing. And if I played it for the next six months would never be able to move to the next level. Used to love it now not worth playing. I think quite a number of us feel the same

Good time waster
I’ve played all the Candy Crush games at one point or another and am mostly satisfied. I’ve never felt pressured into spending real money on the game, and the ads aren’t too intrusive but I have noticed recently that some of the ads just don’t play so I end up being “cheated” out of my boosts or extra moves. If you continue to use ads to keep the game free, please review them to make sure they actually provide the boosts most people will put up with them for.

Great fun ...but...
Love this, however I thing the developers may be missing a trick. A few years ago I was offered a very tempting super sweet 3 hour deal for 99p. Who could refuse?!
Ever since I have been offered the same deal for £8.99. At no point am I ever going to blow £8.99 popping virtual candies, though I think it’s fair to say that I would have been tempted at least once a month to spend 99p. Over the last 3 years they could have made a possible £36ish, but their apparent greed has backfired and they have made nothing from me.
I suspect I’m not the only person who thinks this way. Food for thought. Still mindless fun though without paying anything.

Level 885
Super hard level, been on it for a long time. Should have been able to complete it due to having lollipops to use to hit the last block, but for some reason the game would not allow me to press it due to having a wrapped candy on the screen to use. The game was highlighting the candy. I could press and move anywhere on the screen apart from the lollipop. Really annoyed that this happened as I had used other items in that level to help clear it. Now I am stuck again waiting to build up items to give me a hand doing the level.

I implore you, do not download this game
This was once a great game, until Activi$ion bought King games. Each level takes days, unless you BUY boosters. Every level tells you, after yet another failure, how many people have bought extra moves to pass that particular level, sometimes up to 90,000 people. Imagine that, they actually brag about the number of gullible people they have ripped off.
This game is nothing but a monetised scam, developed in such a way, it frustrates players into buying boosters to complete, increasingly difficult levels.
Activi$ion actually target children, knowing they are naive and gullible, with child like inducements to spend money.

No internet error.. account not recognised!! I have both!!
I’ve been using these apps quite happily for years, until last week! For the last week I am unable to login to my King account via web on my mobile or laptop “account not recognised”. On my mobile, my game does connect to the internet “race can’t be updated reconnect to the internet to see how you are doing”. When trying to login via app on iOS error is “there was a connection error try again in a bit”. Starting a new game I get the error “No internet, you’ve ticked that tile. Your task will be saved when you connect to the internet. I didn’t get a chance to tick a tule!! I am connected to the internet. I’ve tried just 4G and wifi. I’ve tried on a laptop windows 10. Same issue!! I have updated iOS after receiving these errors. Restarted. Same issues. I have updated to your recent update of the app. Restarted same errors. This also goes for all King games. Reset my password many times. I can’t even raise a case as you advise from the website because the captcha doesn’t load. I can’t login to the community to post my issue because guess what... my account isn’t recognised. This is very frustrating.

Disappointing change
I have played this game for years since it began & I was very disappointed when I went on it days ago to find it had changed to Portrait, when it has always been Landscape. Why cannot it be played in both, if you had to change it. Unfortunately playing on my iPad it is too difficult to hold that way. So one lost longstanding player. Hence the stars. Disappointed as are many of my friends too. Bye bye Candy Crush Soda. P.s. its bad enough having to turn other one of the other Candy games to Portrait & press X to go back to Landscape! x

I love it, but...
I love this app! Ever since I got it , I couldn’t stop playing even if I didn’t know fully about it. I highly recommend this app to everyone but... I hate that you have to pay for so many things like lollipops, gold bars and other things. I’ve now been playing for a few months hoping things will change but it doesn’t. Please make more things free, not all people want to spend money on a game.

Total Con of a game
I’ve come to the conclusion over the years that this game is a total fix/con, you will never advance levels until the developers allows you too unless of course you buy lives or candy, it’s funny lots of the time you are left with only one square to win and it offers you to buy five lives which will allow you to win the level, I have recently recorded games whilst playing candy crush soda on my IPhone and played them back in slow motion and it shows how much the developers are cheating their customers, there’s sequences that would win the level but they change the sequence so you don’t, I know they have to make money but they have advertising now so why are they still cheating the customer??

Level 2996 and ready to delete
This was a great game. Ruined by recent changes. The crown has gone. You have to play in portrait, I have played over 2800 levels in landscape, why force me to change? Wrapped gifts gone, replaced by stupid keys. I haven’t actually open one yet. I suspect levels made impossible to force purchases. I used to be happy to buy something now and again. Now I WILL NOT spend any money on principle. They are robbing people and I find it all a bit unethical. So many things to watch between levels. It’s just so slow now! A shame. They should have left everything as it was and maybe just added a few new types of levels to mix it up. 3000 levels the same and it’s a bit boring.

Why make it a competition
I love playing the game. I am playing for fun and because I love playing puzzle games. However recently a contest / competition was added to make the festive period more fun. I am currently taking part . The one thing I dislike is seeing other people listed on Candy Crush , I am not on Facebook so I don’t have any of my friends added. Another thing which I found hugely bizarre I play offline because keeping the games data on is costly. Every now and then I will log onto my mobile data, yesterday I did just that , updated my profile photo only the odd thing the contests must of been frozen on me as 1st for a while then when I updated a few things online with my account I was 2nd all of a sudden. I am not a competitive person. I will not be needing extra lives , I will continue playing as I am . 🍬😀🍬🍬

Gold bars.
I'm 10 years old, and i'm on 459 already. Candy crush is a fun game and allows you to get to know puzzles more. I'm writing this because of the gold bars..Gold bars are good and all but when your bank gets full you have to pay to empty it out again. My feelings to this is annoyed because my mum is tight on money all the time and because of that, I can't buy much or buy much games that I would like. I hope some people understand me or have the same problem. Sorry if this upset you. If you disagree just write your opinion but make it a bit nice.

On the point of deleting, what have you done to this once enjoyable game. The tile board is rubbish, setting tasks you can't complete. Bring back daily quests. But the main irritant now is the 30 second advert (always the same one-boring) between each play. That is using up my time allowance on the game!!!! Been playing this game for some time , using it as a distraction from pain that I suffer from a serious illness. Now I feel stressed when I play. Fix it King, you have ruined it. It's now impossible to get striped lollipops unless you buy them , I don't know what the point of the golden tickets are . Sorry King, I'm leaving, after first posting this review nothing has changed and a once enjoyable and relaxing game has been ruined and become totally frustrating.

Love this game...except for level 425 which is profoundly nausea inducing because the candies move so jerkily & at speed & for a long time between each move. Will have to reluctantly delete game if this style persists in the following levels.
Update: Not a fan of the repeated attempts to make us join a team - would be much better if you can opt into a team if you should want to, rather than be assigned a team automatically & waste time on team info every time you try to play. Otherwise, this is a good & challenging game with nice graphics.

I have been playing this for 2 years or so, and have got to some really hard high levels, with that said I have enjoyed playing as you were able to win boosters etc. About two weeks ago my quests just disappeared, I contacted the makers, and was just told that they were rolling out a new quest system. With what I have seen on a friends game I think the new quests are ridiculous, you can win them, but not easily, and the “prizes” for winning are unrealistic, ie. winning an hours worth of boosters when you haven’t got any lives left. In my opinion King are just trying to push you to spend real cash to progress. This game is now unplayable if you want to keep your own cash.

It was fantastic until recent changes to challenges
I would have given this game 5 stars until the daily quests were replaced by a board of tiles challenge. This has ruined the game. I’ve played this game everyday for years. Some of the levels are so hard you need boosters to complete them. You can’t build up your own boosters now. You have to rely on strangers to complete the tile board. None of my teams have completed their tiles. I’ve had to wait days to get my reward which is hardly anything, only 1 booster! Please bring back the daily quests. I don’t think it’s fair that you have to rely on strangers to get your boosters.

UPDATE RUINED MY GAME
Seeing as the app has no way of reporting bugs it can go on here instead.
My app auto updated this morning and in the process I lost all of my boosters and items, and I had hundreds that I used whenever o got really stuck. You don’t even give these for free anymore each day so it’s hard to get them as it is, without now having just 5 of each.
Checking your message boards you say that you won’t ever try and do anything for players this happens to if they haven’t payed for the items and that is the wrong attitude to have towards players, especially when it seems to happen to so many... sort it out

Updates are rubbish!
I'm thinking of deleting this app completely as it seems to have a glitch in it after recent updates. Game opens on level 1416 and won't let you use the chapter ladder to go on (you can go back!) as I'm on level 1813 I have to scroll through all those levels to get to where I need to be! They've also stopped the daily gift that you can use at your leisure to one that is timed. So targeted at getting you to buy extra moves ... The little fish never actually eat the ones you need them to, they'll eat a random colour rather than a block! Sort out your updates!

Addictive but constantly crashes
If it wasn't for the fact that I can't even attempt level 81 due to the app constantly crashing before I even get to gameplay, I would have given this game about 4 stars. I can't give it 4 stars if I can't even currently play the game as it crashes every time I try to play a level. Sometimes when it crashes, it takes away a life from me as the game sees the crash as an equivalent to quitting the game early. Those lost lives would come in handy if U could actually play the game. The only reason this review is rating the game 2 stars rather than 1 is because when I actually can play the game, it is quite amusing and addictive and is deserving of a good rating

Ads are dodgy
Great game, very addictive.
However in order to get extra help to replay a game you need to watch an ad. Some of these ads are dodgy - such as the ‘weight loss’ pills/drink which left me wondering about bugs and also made me uncomfortable. Some ads just leave a white screen and you are unable to play the game for over 10 minutes.
Sort out who you collaborate with for your ads and fix the white screen bug and I would give you 5stars.

Fun spoiled by too many hard levels
Great game and highly addictive but far too many hard levels. Fine for those who feel the need to be “competitive” but for those of us whose self-esteem doesn’t need that kind of thing, and who play for relaxation and a few minutes of leisure, it takes out a good deal of the pleasure. The Hard and Extra Hard could be put in as optional Special events, similar to the five-tier ones that pop up every now and again, with rewards such as unlimited lives or boosters for those who choose to play them. If that were the case I would happily award five stars.

Use to be good.
They give you a video to watch to get additional boost but instead the video ends up on a blank screen so you have to reload the entire app to start playing again. Also the games seems to additional moves off you even though you've only played one move -very frustrating. Even if you purchase and use a boost the game changes yet again to give you no chance of breaking the level. I'm getting to the point of hating this game as I've fine with others within the group as they're no longer fun to play. They cheat and are extremely frustrating

Bring back unlimited lives!!!
I've been a dedicated fan of this game (currently on level 1483) and have spent money on gold (more than I should!) to get passed the more difficult levels but since the most recent update they've removed the chance to get unlimited lives and I'm not happy. I feel there's no longer an incentive to play every day as even the bubblegum levels only get you 22 minutes of unlimited lives instead of the usual 1 hour. I know this may seem like an insignificant change to you, it's a big deal to your dedicated fans and I'm so disappointed at this recent 'improvement'. Please rectify this or this dedicated customer will be looking elsewhere to get her match 3 fix 😡
