I bought BTC on IQ Option in 2017. After I invested, they added a new holding fee, which wasn’t there before. Over time, this fee took away most of my profit, even though the BTC price increased. They can change rules anytime to take your money. Be very careful if you use this app!

Been with since 2017, they charge a percentage if you do not trade for an extended amount of time, tried on numerous occasions to withdraw funds, all their boxes ticked to process request but met with stone wall every time. App is flawed and doesn’t allow you to verify documents when needed, it fails and eventually they close the account at the fault of yourself. Support from them is just as bad, spend most the time answering the same question.
You can verify documents when you sign up no problem. Using the same documents will fail when you are asked to verify them again at a later date. Then you won’t be able to login and will loose your money. They will state it’s in their terms and conditions and not have a care in the world that their app is faulty.
Much better service and support elsewhere and had no issues with other apps. Personally I would avoid these, money would be safer with Jordan Belfort.
Looking at their feedback I am not the only person being scammed by these. Honestly stay clear and use another platform. I have invested loads and seeing great returns elsewhere.
I can see their response for me to contact support. I have 30 plus emails with their “support” and they offer no help, they read off the same script and say they can’t do anything. Would be a waste of time contacting them.
See their other response but when you give the correct documents but their app amazes sure you don’t fulfil their T&C you are always set to fail and loose your account. Again stay clear of these robbers.
Again a sarcastic response, they have an app that fails when you verify your documents after you have money in their system. They won’t help and use their T&C as a get out clause to rob you of your money. I am not the only person who has had this issue and probably won’t be the last. Yes I accepted the T&C but I also expect the system to allow the documents used to open and were fine when opening to also work when I have money in the account. Strange the emails and “support” are non existent when this happens then they block your account using the T&C and then their “support” respond. Either way I’m making money elsewhere, easier and with actual support. These will steal your money.
Again an update with T&C, they will use this as a get out clause. The same documents I used to open that verified wouldn’t when I needed to further down the line. This will happen to you and they then will use any excuse possible to not help, mainly saying it’s in their T&C’s and it’s impossible to view or open the account but will invite you to open a new account using a new email address. Just read they other reviews as I am not the only person. I won’t be talking to their support as I have countless emails with them already. Just don’t be suckered into their scam and poor platform. Go elsewhere as you will loose your money with these.
*Update, they as a “reputable broker” will ignore and make sure the verifying documents used to open the account perfectly fine will fail when you need to update them. They will use the T&C as a reason they closed your account and carry on using these as they fully know they will steal your money. 100% avoid these scammers/thieves. Just read the numerous other people they have scammed as a “reputable broker” with a low rating on App Store.*

I would not invest with them. Not even worth 1 star.
First of all, they will close off your account without any notification (I cannot find a single email on this) and when your balance is remaining in your account, they will take away 1% of what is remaining unclaimed balance from you on a monthly basis.
They are not able to produce a historical statement (already received two attempts but the statements are not opening -corrupted files), which has no transparency over what’s been happening to your money over the time. I had to do it this way as I my account was gone..
Complete waste of my money and time spent with them. Retrieved almost nothing from investing 1,000 gbp.

Never invest in this company , you'll never get rich, you just help them to get richer.

Here is why:
1. This platform is so complicated.
(They made it on purpose to lose your money)
2. It doesn't show all market data history. (Because they want you lose your money)
3. You can withdraw just your initial deposit up to 90 days, the rest (if you make any profit, again if) you show pay £$€35 fee or transfer money to awful e-wallets such as Neteller, Skrill or Webmoney.
(Because they want you keep your money on their platform to trade and lose it)
4. I put £250 in this platform after one week I loss all £250, (actually £249.43).
I decided not to trade but after couple of months when I tried to login to my account, it was blocked. I emailed them I need to accord my account, they replied me because we asked your id and your identification and you didn't send us so we blocked. I said ok I'm here and I'll send you all documents you need, just unblock my account.
They replied: Sorry we can't unblock it, you should try open another account.
I had £0.37 in my account :/
5. I opened another account and I tried to give them all my details correctly and full.

I made some ”profit” tried to withdraw some money; they find out anything just not to give the money back. When I provided all documents with all bank details everything that they wanted, I thought I could get that couple of hundreds of pounds, and then they deleted my account, I sent loads of emails to the support also called them on the phone and just no response. They just banned me. Ridiculous, what serious business do anything like this? Like teenagers, on Facebook delete each other if they don't want to be friends any longer. This is a scam.

Better Options out there
This is quite a limited, yet functional app, however there are definitely better options out there.
They do not have the full range of any pairs available, instead focusing on most of the core markets.
This app also only allows you to trade with their pre-determined leverage (5x for stocks and up to 30x for Forex) and offers quite a ridiculous spread on most of these.
While the higher leverage may be what many traders are looking for, the lack of options to adjust the leverage coupled with the large spreads make this app quite hard to make any money with, as the poor spreads are only compounded by their forced leverage of trades.
This spread only seems to get wider in times of market volatility, making this a terrible app for swing traders too.
In conclusion, find another app that allows you to select the leverage that is best for you depending on the situation, as I can guarantee the developers of this app have only included the leverages and pairs that best benefit them.

I really enjoyed watching the video tutorials through the app, & appreciated having the opportunity to trade on a demo account before opening real trades, because it gave me time me time to get a feel for everything.
Kudos to the support guys; had to contact them a couple of times (once quite late at night), & both times, they were quick to respond & super polite!

Great platform
This is a very easy platform to use and understand. Help is always on hand and a fantastic network system of other traders to help and chat with. I’ve learnt to trade from this platform after trying out several. The only weakness of this platform is withdrawing your investment. That makes the platform look shady. If using a card, you can only put withdraw what you have invest. Not your profit. You’ve got to open an ewallet or go through a length process to withdraw your profit. It’s like they don’t want you to get to your earnings.

Seemed promising at first but looks like a scam
Only on demo version, was getting to the point of depositing real money and it suddenly made all the spreads impossible to make anything on, no way stock is going to get high/low enough to get into profit zone... Probably good they showed true colours at this stage though. Might chuck $10 in for a laugh but doubtful with all the stories of them just taking your winnings and deposit!

Loss of equity because of a random account block
I am not very happy with the service if I’m honest. Today I was waiting for my trade to rise then all of a sudden I had been blocked out of my account because I signed in to my account on a different phone about 5 days ago. Because of that I missed my high point and I’m now stuck on it hoping it will go back up instead of down further. To top it off when I tried to complain on the so called 24/7 online chat but it wasn’t working, nor did I find any other way to get in contact. I couldn’t even find a phone number to call.

Easy to deposit money- HARD TO WITHDRAW
Having lots of issues to withdraw my money, they seem to put up so many barriers before you get money back into your bank account and want all sorts of documentation from bank.
Was not so complicated to take money from me, but giving it back is a different kettle

I will begin to let you know i am a real trader and for the new traders who want to start trading or learn about trading this is not the right app . Is NOT trading , is gambling I assure you 100% , i try a lot of binary platforms and are all the same . Why am I telling you this? Because i was the same like you guys , i want to get rich quickly but in trading are not short ways . Let me give you an example : whit binary you have to risk 100 $ to make 80 maybe 90 $ ??? Why do you want to do that ??? Is just pure mathematics . Go online , find a reliable broker , set a realistic leverage , and the most important try to read about trading. Don’t start whit 100 dollars, you are not going to get rich , trust me . I am doing this just to warn you about this Scam .

Don’t deposit real money without submitting documents.
I would strongly suggest NOT depositing real money until you have successfully submitted your documents. I had about £30 in my account. I’m not comfortable giving complete strangers such personal information. They have taken the £30 out of my account under the disguise of some sort of dormant account service charge. My account is now empty! They were quite happy to accept my deposits without the documents. But we’re quick to fleece my account. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Lovely app really helpful
I’ve been using the app for around 2 years now just training and developing skills on how to be professional within trading, I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and was ready to trade, I signed up but I’ve been categorised as a retail trader. I believe I am perfectly able to trade responsibly and with the funds I have put aside to invest into trading and I’ve been taking part in seminars and workshops to teach me how to trade. I want to have access to all features such as binary and higher leverage, as I have been disciplined on my trades. But I have to have worked in the financial sector for 2 years and need a capital of 500,000 which I think is disappointment to someone who is interested in becoming a trader. Is there anyway I could have a professional account around this?

Easy to deposit, impossible to withdraw
They will only accept withdrawals to your bank account for the same value of your initial deposit and it must be within 90 days of the initial credit. If you make a profit the profit must go to a third party e wallet before you can get it into your account. If you go past the 90 days ALL of your money must go to a third party e wallet before you get it back. STAY WELL CLEAR

Yes and No
Although this is a good platform and the support team seems to always been on hand, there are a couple of things that bring IQ options down.
The first thing is that there is a 2 second delay when you actually make a trade.
The second is that the % of return is constantly changing. Meaning you might place a trade for a 70% profit but by the time it go’s through it could drop to 60% or less, making you lose a recovery trade.

Perfect platform on iphone and pc,
Just one little matter, when i take a position on the app with live currency the position closes instantly with a loss equal to the spread comission. At the moment i take only practice positions on the app and take live positions on pc, is there going to be a soon fix to this?

Great platform
Love the app been studying it for a good few months in demo mode working on different strategies had a go in real mode love it.
All the people who have had problems should read and understand the rules for account verification, deposits and withdrawals it’s quite easy.

I transferred 100 pounds in my account and wanted to transfer £40 pounds back on my card, been waiting days just for the money to be put in my account, and they only sent £20 of my £40 andthey took another £10 rubbish app I advise no one to download it and use it it’s rubbish and dogey! And you can’t even take your own money out even profit! So use other platforms like mt4 not this defo don’t download rubbish and fraudulent

Binary Options gone :(
Can't really call this app 'options' anymore since all the binary options has been removed from the App Store now. Reading the reviews it looks as if people didn't read the T&Cs of the app, I hope apple give binary options back to iq options iOS app because they are completely legit and one of the more reliable platforms. I've withdrawn from them with no problems (less than my deposit) and it's super fast, literally went into my bank account the next day, maybe even the same day but I didn't check. I've never received one phone call from them asking me to deposit money like all the other trading platforms have, I've spoke to customer support but only when I've phoned them myself and they are very helpful. I think apple should give them their binaries back on the app or IQ should make a 3rd party profile app to install from safari if that's allowed. I for one am sorry to see this happen.

Allowed me to deposit £400 within minutes yet when I want to withdraw £50 that I have made, it has taken over 4 weeks. Have been told to trace the ARN number with my bank, bank says they have no facility to do that and it is on IQ OPTIONS end. IQ OPTION then requesting bank statements stamped and signed which does not sound secure whatsoever. Absolutely no help, trying anything they can to refuse payment. CON ARTISTS.

STAY FAR. Very high commissions DOUBLED
They charge 10% (TEN % !!!) to buy cryptocurrencies and 2% to withdrawing + 0.001 BTC per BTC’s withdrawal. It’s only possible to withdraw the same amount invested, means they charge the buying commission and the withdrawal commissions more than one time, forcing to re-investing and re-withdrawing the difference, as it is a refunding operation back to the bank or the credit card. This also means that the money funded can only come back in the same bank account or credit card used to funding the IQ Option account. ABSOLUTELY STAY FAR FROM IQ OPTION.

Best app ever
I write for first time a review as i see lots of bad ones from others which they don't have a clue what means trading or IQ Option . I am use this app from more then 2 years , i make lots of deposit , i also withdraw , and i also speak with supports and always my problems was solved . So for this which speak that this is rubbish or scams i promise you that you wrong . This is probably one of the best and fast app which i use so far . Guys , speak after you try it for a long period , not that you deposit £5 and you dont have a clue how to trade and wake up that you dont have money ! Wake up !!!

Buying - simply (they take 10% commission) is easy - touch deposit - add card details - touch buy and done -
I’ve had several friends - several people at work and a few family members all download and use this App without any issues - my wife’s account verification was not accepted - she called - the Greek girl was lovely and helpful and sorted out her issue within minutes.
Very easy to use very easy to trade - excellent unitive clear interface especially on an iPhone X - and you get OTN tokens when you trade

Appalling ‘customer support’
After depositing £10 to ‘try out the app’, I placed £5 on BitCoin to jump on the bandwagon. Then later, put my remaining sub £4 on something called ‘Ethereum Classic’. Imagine my surprise, when a few days later I see that my initial investment in Bitcoin is Now showing ‘£3.78’ and not the aforementioned £5.
After contacting their ‘support’, I was told that this was not the case and I hadn’t put £5 on.. despite being sat with a colleague when placing it. After several days, I gave up and just accepted they would not budge anywhere. I submitted my verification documents well within the 7 days, sure enough on the last day for me to verify my account they decided what I had provided wasn’t sufficient and have now suspended my account. My money is stuck in limbo and their support is awful. Most of the time you receive a ‘an English speaking member of the team will assist you within 24hours’.
As soon as I can, I will he closing my account with them and protecting my money and details. AVOID THESE PEOPLE.
I worry for my colleague who has over £11,000 invested through this app.

PAY TO WITHDRAW YOUR OWN MONEY
Upon not using the app for a while, I decided to withdraw the remaining amount of money I had in my trading account and have it transferred to my bank account...or so I thought. I got in contact with support and I was simply told that I would not be able to do that and that I would have to use another service such as Neteller or Skrill in order to withdraw MY money. I find it ridiculous that I have to 1. Create yet another account to withdraw MY money and 2. That you get charged for withdrawing your own money. They should simply allow the user to be able to withdraw THEIR money whenever they please free of charge.

I signed up and after signing up - I have received hundreds of spam calls - and I keep telling them to remove me from their calling list - today a foreign sounding woman called me - I asked her to stop calling me and upon asking her what she is offering? She very rudely told me to that why I don’t want to talk and listen to her - she asked me in a threatening manner ‘Who are you?’ I said what do you mean? And to stop calling me - she told me that she will take $200 dollars from my credit card again in a very threatening manner and hung up - I am very worried about my details on their system now - Do not use this company I am reporting them to Police.

App delay causes loss of trades
Great layout, easy to use app with lots of features and responsive support team. However, on every trade there is at least a 2 second delay before it acknowledges your trade. Those pips make the difference of too many losses. I've used others apps, e.g. Ayrex, and their trades are instant. Growing more and more disappointed with IQ Option as their PC app has exactly the same delay problem.

They sell on your details
This app asks for personal detail including telephone number. I am usually very careful where I put my details but as this was an investment app I trusted it. Since opening my account I keep getting scam mail from other counties like Ireland, Japan , Italy etc all asking me to invest in other trading accounts every time I block a number I get different numbers call me. I contacted them about this and I got not reply, and it won't let me change my number on the account - I'm very angry! Avoid!!

Bad support
Everything is fine with the application but if you block the account, it is very difficult to unblock again. It seems as if the support doesn't know how to handle it. One star from me but only for the support service as the rest was well done. Unfortunately I will not use this service and I am changing brokers. Good luck everyone.
