waiting SO LONG WHILE IT IS LOADING!!
At the start I downloaded it and when I was loading up there is this problem LIKE I SAID I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SO LONG maybe that’s the problem for my daughter and keep saying “mom when is it finished,” and I am am not joking it took about 45 minutes!But the positive thing is the game is enjoyable.

Not really about the game
I loved angry birds when i was younger but one game that was the best was Angry Birds Go! I just got attached to it and it was amazing but when it got removed i basically drifted off from Rovio.
I left with no intentions and only the movies and this game is holding me together.

Terrible game
I have played this game for over 5 years now. It is full of glitches and constant crashes, you lose all your rewards because of the game just shutting down which really slows your progress and when you report issues you either don’t get a response from them or they blame your internet connection or your device. They will not compensate you for their failures either even if you send a picture of your lost rewards as evidence. To progress you must be willing to part with a lot of your hard earned cash as they have basically made it a pay to play game, and it’s not a couple bucks here and there either. Stay away from this game at all costs.

The gameplay is fun and all but you genuinely can’t go 10 seconds without the game begging for your money which is honestly pathetic. Good concept created by very poor developers.
Constant crashes despite numerous updates, when a feature stops working (black pearls for example) the developer just deletes the item from the game rather than fix the issue. Constant pop ups when you open the game which take time to close.

Constantly crashing

Great game but…
I have recently been loving this game and I have been playing it a lot lately . I love the graphics and the purpose of the game. However, I have been experiencing some issues with the hat shop as I try to click the button to let me purchase some hats it jus t turns off the game and diverts me back to the home screen. To conclude, I think the this game is amazing and with some more bug fixes and editing, it would be a game worth 5 stars. :)

I am so sad but I decided to delete this game in January. I’ve been playing various Angry Birds games for many years, and thanks to daily play, I am a high ranking AB2 player despite never having spent any cash. The game has got steadily worse, ever since the possibility to gain hat sets after events was taken away. This was the only real incentive since upgrading individual birds by tiny increments takes weeks of play. Now the ads are more like 3min commercials and the game crashes every 10mins.

There are too many adverts despite paying regularly for gems etc and the green pig is too greedy when it comes to the tower of fortune. Seemingly there is no logic and random luck s something you can bet will NOT go in your favour. If you’re thinking of entering the game, think again. Not happy.

I have played this for years and loved it. The reward system is now a joke. You play all day for practically nothing. I spend more time watching 2+ minute long adds to achieve pathetic rewards. They have stopped giving you daily treats in favour of a season thing that’s just impossible to complete if your a casual player such as myself.
No gems given out. Hats that cost 10,000 black pearls. When you do when win black pearls it’s 10 or 20. Can’t get the hats because the tower of fortune robs you day after day after day. 2 levels. The pig steals your winnings. Pay 20 gems to continue. Next level, the pig robs your winnings. Most days I make it to about the 10th level on TOF. It’s a joke.
Even in the daily challenges, the “Destructometer” takes more and more and more to give you another bird. You can destroy the entire level with one bird and the meter moves up about 1/20th….
Used to be a game of skill and reward. Now it’s pay to advance or the game gives you nothing.

This game used to be great and was highly entertaining but no longer. There are now too many “bells and whistles” and extra games within games. The result is that too many things are going on at the same time with the outcome being that on many an occasion, the game will freeze in the fast-forward action, usually at the end of a level in the Daily Challenge or Arena. Because of this I have lost many prizes I should have won. OK they are only virtual prizes and there is no cash loss but it is still annoying. Get a grip Rovio and sort this out.

Cant even launch the game
Ive been playing angry birds since i was old enough to know what the aim was, through the 1st one, angry birds star wars and the one where you build a rocket ship (my memory on that one is a little foggy) but the point is i love playing them. But with this specific game i cant even expirence the levels or ui since all i can admire is the increasingly boring loading screen. It always gets stuck just under the g in loading, ive left my phone to try and let it to load for 20 minutes and it wouldnt load, ive tried restarting my phone aswell as hard restarting the game. None of these work. Id love to be able to play it but my 1 star review will stick until i get a chance to play it. I used to be able to play the game before the ad tsunami hit mobile games, since then ive almost given up on trying to reliably play a mobile game. Until i can play this it is a 1 star. I have played Angry Birds 2 since the game was first released, it was my game to relax with, have fun with, and over the last year it’s become worse and worse. The game is now ‘pay to win’ and if you don’t pay, you will get absolutely nowhere. The events have become impossible to complete, every upgrade and bonus has become impossible to save up for with in game tokens and prizes, and the amount of faults and crashes the game has is ridiculous. When you finally get somewhere for example in the tower of fortune, the game with crash and you lose everything you’ve won. Trying to get hold of support to get your prizes back took me over 3 weeks to get a response and by that point I wasn’t given anything back because I didn’t have a screenshot of what I had won… when the game crashed?? Am I meant to constantly screenshot the game incase it crashes??
So well done for ruining your own game, I am gutted to be giving this game up but here we are.

Angry Birds 2 review
I have still awarded this game a solid 4 stars as I have been a huge fan of this since I first downloaded it in 2018.
As of recently though I have found my interest waning with a handful of changes.
Firstly why can’t you upgrade event hats once the event is over? You used to be able to but not anymore meaning I have accumulated thousands upon thousands of black pearls which I simply cannot use in game rendering them pointless. The hats which are left to get are usually the ones very late on in the Tower Of Fortune making it practically impossible to complete the set. I also hate the new rewards system where unless you purchase a treasure pass (which to be fair is extremely overpriced) you get next to nothing especially for a player who has religiously played the game for nearly 6 years.
I still enjoy the game and the challenge plus it is as addictive as ever but these changes are making me consider is it still worth my time and effort.

I just got to level 36 in tower of fortune and I had over 300 gems collected, around 70 black pearls, 7 apples, around 1500 poco verde coins and 3 THREE POCO VERDE HATS, SILVER’S, MATILDA’S AND THE ONE ON FLOOR 30’S please give me all this IF YOU SEE THIS PLEASE I’M BEGGING YOU also I wasted around 300 gems doing this and what happened was I was watching the video on floor 36 and my game just crashed mid-video and I lost all this. Cash grab monetisation to excess
I loved the first series of this game, it was one of those typically early platform games that was focused on user experience and gameplay rather than pure profit maximisation at every junction.
The problem with this kind of game in 2024 is that the playing population has grown up thinking add ons is part of the gameplay process. I'd rather pay for a game up front and not be hounded by constant ads and pop ups. The videos in this game last for ages and are made very difficult to get out of forcing clicks through into the purchase area of another game. Hateful, miserable diversions that just cause frustration & time wasting. There are other distractions like the jackpot lift which despite 20 plus wins add very little to your gameplay strengths. Eventually even these lead to a pay option when your luck runs out.
It's a shame because as a concept the game is still just as good as the original, with highly polished graphics and reasonable if slightly over simplified gameplay. Proof that once a game gets sold off from its original makers and the corporates get involved, that rarely any good comes from it. Money changes hands, and then needs recovering. And a perfectly good concept is ruined in a single step. Hence deletion is the next step for my journey!

The best and worst Angry Birds game
It is better than Angry Birds Journey that’s one important thing. It does some things amazingly like cosmetics for the birds, let you chose your flock, have a competition mode and it even has Terrance in it so it has to be good right? Firstly, there is this stupid loves feature which is bad in the other games but it is at its worst here as sometimes you lose because you didn’t have the right cards. This is also the only Angry Birds game to have lots of forced ads as Angry birds friends did have some but this one goes on another level. I also hate all the extra luck and gambling modes such as that awful elevator mode which is just a way to make you spend money

Hat event overload
The bosses at Rovio have decided that their cash cow new hat event that used to happen every month or so should now be every other week. So all you guys at the top who spend a fortune buying them up (you know who you are) now need to spend even more to keep up. Hope you have nice deep pockets guys as it will only get worse. Just keep thinking of the rewards you get for being at the top - a smaller bank balance and … oh just the smaller bank balance.
As for me, I’ve been playing this a long time now but I can’t be bothered with a lot of it these days due to the fact you need to spend money to compete and no way am I wasting my hard earned money on silly games like this especially as a) there is no end to the amount you’d need to pay to keep up and b) it’s totally rigged anyway (watch for the delay before you reveal a pig in the Tower of Fortune) - so it’s best all round not to even bother trying. Luckily I’ve never considered spending real money but I can see how people can get sucked in and then feel duty bound to keep paying out.
These games should really be treated like gambling apps and be forced to include the same safeguards that gambling apps have to put in place. In many ways games are worse because they are totally rigged to make you fail to get you to pay more.
In short, what was once a reasonable game has now been totally wrecked by greed.

I just started playing again and i love it
Its like strategy you think where to launch the bird and boom you kick a pig but i also love how if you lose you play again on the same map and the builds are different it makes the game so much easier to play but i think in my opinion the best bird/pig is the king pig i don’t know his name but he has a beard and all the levels are progressively harder and harder and more easier to lose hearts than win but there is one situation i am on level45
And i need to complete levels up to 67 to get pigs/birds for 1 key one single key but i am so slow to pass through all the levels but its ok ill get there soon

Energy lives
I have been playing this game for quite some time now, and I love it. A group of friends all play it, but I went on today and I’ve gone on my daily, and the usual lives have changed to energy. I personally do not like this as it doesn’t refill for 12 hours and costs 300 gems to refill early. This is unrealistic unless you spend money on the game there’s no way of gathering that many gems to do so. I think it takes the fun out of the game as the daily is something you can always play! Also admittedly it is a game designed for children but with the levels being higher difficulty the further you rank up, this energy doesn’t give much of a chance to the young ones!

This game is rated extremely low at 4.6 stars. They do have in app purchase but there isn’t a single part of the game that you need it for. You could play this game for 3 hours straight per day without having to spend a penny. If you are someone that rated this game 1 star because of adverts and in app purchases then that would suggest that you cannot complete a single level with 5 attempts, then 5 chances at adventure, then free tickets for the ranked side. You could lose 15 times in a row and still get more gameplay. There are real people that go to work every day to maintain and improve this game. They can’t pay their bills with goodwill and fairy dust. Give them a few quid you peasants.

Money grabbing misery
I had played this game for some time and had gotten quite far, but it just became a laborious task every day to collect enough apples to feed my hatchling. Eventually you will have to buy some. The daily challenges have become near impossible to pass as well - even less apples and rewards for your haul. The newest Bubbles adventure features a pig placed literally out of reach so you can not ever pass the level. The arena will let you win so many games before pairing you with opponents double your bird power that you cannot possibly beat, just so you pay for more birds. I had worked long and hard during the last event to get enough coins to purchase a level 20 tower of fortune ticket. I saved enough gems to pay for a few piggy levels and decided now was the time to play. I got 5 pigs out of 8 levels, just to coerce me into buying more gems. At this point I closed the app and deleted it. Save yourselves the misery and give it a miss.

I can’t blame you, this is how all mobile games are now. Angry birds is a game I grew up with, I played the original, angry birds Star Wars and now angry birds 2. My problem with this game is that it is clearly designed to make you spend money for a game that is supposedly free to play. The heart system being added is the first red flag, clearly designed to make you watch adds (which to be honest I don’t mind) or pay “gems” (money) to refill your hearts once you have run out, if this was my only point I would not have made this comment. My biggest pet peeve is that once you get to a certain point in the game some levels are borderline impossible to beat before you use all your birds, even after the extra bird added after a godawful advert the level is still near impossible, this I clearly designed to make you spend money to buy gems in order to get 3+ birds instead of the measly one from an advert. You disappoint me Rovio, it seems you have decided to opt into the stereotypical pay us or lose mentality of every other mobile app producer. It didn’t have to be this way, we didn’t need the movies we just wanted a fun game to play and you have ruined it. Alas, no one will read this, especially no one from Rovio, I write this only because there is no where else to write it. You have made me hate a game that I grew up with and my discontent for you is immense. Have a bad day.

Milking money
Playing for few years now and it is sooooo obvious game is developed and updated in the way to make as much money as possible. Basically rigged as progress has little to do with your skills.
I call it “scratch card” approach - game engine is simulating the scenarios so you are loosing just slightly ( to use gems to push little bit and win ) or winning with complete ease regardless of your birds power etc damaging everything with the lightest touch. Looks like wins and looses are predefined at the start and devs just give the illusion it is up to you so you. Everything changes when you pay for gems - did it on few occasions and game is changing dramatically letting you progress without problems , matching with much weaker players etc. I would delete it right now if I wasn’t so addicted . Anyone knows good rehab ?

Too many ads
The gameplay is enjoyable although very glitchy, you often lose rewards when the relentless stream of ads sometimes freezes. It is clearly rigged to ensure that you only get ‘prizes’ once you have spent enough and the game visibly rewards you for buying extras in the ‘random’ rewards.
But we all know these things safe ultimately about the developers making money… shame as the game itself is endless fun. There are challenges which are impossible without repeat attempts which take all of your bought items and then suddenly ‘behave’ in a different way. Strange that such obvious tricks are used in what should be a skill game. But there you go.

OMG I LOVE THIS GAME NOW I STARTED 5 MINUTES AGO
So, I got this angry birds 5 minutes ago I started level 1 and moved onto the next one I got a bird key I looked at the birds and chose the last one Terence. I bought him with the key cause this morning I watched a person have Leonard as the boss and he had Terence and Bomb. Terence is so OP because he is the hugest ever In angry birds! I’m now at the first boss level at level 5 and then I came to level 7 I got a bird key again and accidentally got Matilda but then I used her aswell in game and she is OP like Terence and they are sooooooo much better then Red. I use Terence and Matilda every single first round and every time I got 3 stars!! And I love how you all used the pigs to look worried while aiming this game is so animated too! And I keep ranking up so this is sooooooo amazing!!! If you want to get 3 stars or rank up join this community! I also rate this 5 Stars!! I have played for 5 years and I love it. I’m on level 1213 and I think the arena rewards are brilliant since I’m heading towards emerald 3 stars. Daily challenges are challenging enough for me. The king pig panic is quite challenging but good. My clan gave me a clan battle and my clan won all of them and the rewards are op. The mighty eagle thing is really good value. The spells that are good are mighty eagle, pig pumper and hot chilli because I have had strikes with all of them. The others are quite decent. At the moment I think the levels are a bit easy but the boss pig levels are challenging enough. I am 16 now and I can’t believe how amazing this game is. Thank you rovio for making this game.

Hatchling feature
I think it’s an ok game but the hatchling I hatched and spent weeks looking after, I accidentally didn’t feed him enough and it said he would leave in 59 minutes. 4 days later he was still there, however when I missed one day he left in the afternoon. I think making you get 5 apples before you get to feed it is bad and I think you should be able to feed him no matter how many apples you have and to fill it’s hunger, so it only has to eat 5 apples but doesn’t need to eat them all in one meal P.s I was very upset when he left

Good game. Relatively fair monetisation.
Given how some mobile games developers/ publishers have veered off on a tangent when it comes to monetisation schemes, I’m pleasantly surprised by how (relatively) fair Rovio has conducted business with Angry Birds 2.
At heart, AB2 is a fun, sometimes-challenging experience; and to date, it is one of only two games that has managed to stay on my device for more than 30 minutes. To Rovio and other publishers out there: it pays to be fair in the long-term. If you’re gonna spam me with 30-second ads after 30 seconds of gameplay, then I WILL delete your app within 30 minutes (irrespective of the quality of the app). Think now: just how much ads/ MTX revenue you’re missing out on because of those 30 seconds… I really hope other devs/ publishers take note.

Cost of gems is insulting!!!!
You need to remortgage if you want to get anywhere in this game! You often can’t complete the daily challenge and claim rewards without paying for gem bundles.....extremely disappointing as I absolutely love this game but surely there’s no need to be charging £100’s for gem bundles???? It’s a game and I feel sorry for parents who have to disappoint kids playing this game as it’s not accessible fun for all due to the horrifically rude charge for gems which are needed all the time to pay for extra birds in daily challenge and don’t get me started on Tower of fortune hat adventures. I have spent about £150 on this game just as a test and it’s not worth it.....i basically am no better off in the game and my bank balance looks grim.....if I want to carry on having fun in this game I will need to remortgage my house....and I’m not joking! Seriously don’t need to charge for heavens sakes! Get sorting this out Rovio and apple and google play it’s a big fat CON taking advantage of kids and adults 😢

Fun, but annoying at times
I really enjoy the game and there are so many levels so it means it would take a while to finish and get bored and on top of that you get extra game modes like the arena! But what annoys me is that one of the daily quests is claim your gem letter, AND THAT COSTS MONEY! And I think the devs made it hard to watch when the hatchling leaves and I feel that younger players might be upset by this, seeing the cute hatchling take one last look at you before it goes...... also I wish you could use power ups in boss levels! Like at least limit the spells you can use in one! anyway on a positive not it’s really fun and I enjoy the clans in the game and I saved up to get one. It’s called: ThePlasmaSparkz . Anyway, fun game and I do enjoy it, but at times it’s annoying and a cash grab

Alright I just miss the old ones
I’ve not played a lot of it but it has loads mircotransactions (has gems that you pay for and pay to continue in a level) it has optional ads. Hank (the green one) and the orange one have both been removed and replaced by a grey/silver one which I just don’t like. They gave Red a power which kind of removes the point of Red which was just a bird that he is the basic one. They changed Chuck’s power from going quick to the point you tapped to just going fast. It uses a card system so every bird is available in every level which adds a little bit of thinking with which bird to use, although when you find a bird that is good for each situation then you don’t need to think much. I think this game is alright but could use some work and be more like the original.

Really cool game but with its flaws
I was obsessed with angry birds when I’m was little so I was like a monkey with a banana when I got this, I’m going to get the bad things out of the way first, tower of fortune can be virtually impossible when you get 2 pigs in a row and you already used up your first Ad, it also makes you pay a ridiculous amount of gems for new players to continue, also, why is one of the guest birds, NOT A BIRD? It’s the pig one, I’m not really sure why it exists but it’s kinda useless in my opinion, anyway, good mechanics, boss levels are REALLY cool, every bird also has its own ability now instead of red being the useless early game bird that you only get in the first 5 levels, this game is just overall amazing

How the mighty have fallen
It’s the same concept as the original angry birds. The actual shooting birds part of it is maybe even better than the original. But the system of having ‘lives’ is an absoloute joke. Makes it almost impossible for free to play players to have fun without spending lots of gems to renew lives as 5 lives cam maybe last you an hour at the very very very maximum. Also there are far too many offers to buy things for money shoved into your face. Get rid of the lives system and it will be almost as good as the original. Really nowhere near the levels that the original was at the moment. Also bring back angry birds space and Star Wars because both of them were better than this pay to win game

It’s great, but could be better !!!
I love the Game, it’s concept & the Characters !! I can’t work out why the Pigs are green, as I’ve never seen one, that colour !!
But overall, the Levels are fair, with some, being as much as 6 Scenes (or ‘Rooms’ as You call them), so You often don’t have sufficient Birds, even if You WERE frugal with them.
One or two niggles tho’...
When launching thru a tight space, often the trajectory Dots show good clearance, but upon firing, the Bird sometimes hits the Rocks when it should go straight thru !!! ☹️
Also, some Pigs fall to the far-right of the Scene, where even the furthest Flyer can’t reach it & the same often goes for the Boss Pig, Who gets knocked out of reach of ANY Bird.
A bit more annoying, is that if You decide to choose a Spell, but then don’t need to use it, can’t it go back to the Spell Store & not get forfeited !?
But I can’t be completely negative, as I HAVE to say, that the Graphics are faultless, with the dodgy Structures moving & falling EXACTLY as in real life & way the Piggies react, blink & look around, makes You think They really ARE alive !!!
My favourite Scenes, are the subterranean ones, with the Rock-spitting Gargoyles !!! 😆
All in all, I’ve had many happy hours playing the Game !!

good game, but super frustrating
angry birds 2 is good fun, mostly! let’s be honest, it’s set up to encourage you to spend your real money on in app purchases to progress in the game. that’s fine, the game app download is free and they’ve got to make some money somehow. it’s kind of going a bit far now though.
i am finding the game itself so frustrating that it’s actually kinda making me not want to play it anymore. i definitely play a lot less now than i used to. the new arena game is incredibly frustrating and you could end up spending a LOT of money on in app purchases if you’re that bothered about being successful in it.
the spells in the game are more or less irrelevant now as the only time you’d really use them are in the clan battle and you’re not always able to use them in that. there used to be a tactical element to using them in the arena but that has been lost.
there are only so many times you can lose at a game before it becomes demotivational and you give up and go play something else. you can put up with the in game adverts if you accept they’re to be expected in a game that is free to download and play. however if people like me are turning off because it’s not fun to play anymore, you have to wonder whether the advertisers getting value now. something to think about Rovio?

Disappointing Experience...
I missed playing Angry Birds from years ago and decided to check out the new one. And honestly it was so disappointing. It feels like a money-grabbing machine with a game tacked on the end. So many pop ups, an over-complicated system of fancy new ‘features’ and ‘mini-games’ that are all just another reason to spend more money on micro transactions or watching adverts. To be honest the more difficult game was avoiding accidentally buying something or watching an advert. And the last straw came when it just decided to show me an advert anyway, and pressing the ‘X’ button did not quit the ad, but clicked the link! The game feels like browsing one of those trashy news sites that are plastered with advertisements, and honestly it’s an incredibly frustrating experience. Wouldn’t mind paying a bit for the app if it meant I could at least play the game uninterrupted. But ended up deleting it!

Arena woes
I have loved this game for many years, BUT.... the recent arena upgrade is a massive disappointment, you are limited to 5 birds which are “randomly selected” and all the times I play it I’m forced to play the green snot pig who adds nothing to the game in my opinion. also I have saved a large amount of spells which you also cannot use at all in the arena, so you already start on a back foot, and if you lose a match your points you may have won previously are deducted, you have no option to spend 60 gems for an extra few birds to pick up your score, your only option is to spend 60 gems to RESTART the match and risk losing again.
To me this is not an upgrade or improvement, I feel it is in unfair way of trying to get people to spend money rather than enjoy the game, I would suggest people have the choice of which 5 birds they play AND to be able to take spells to use in the arena if they are going to make this game any better.
Let’s see what happens, but so far I’m VERY disappointed

They’ve spoilt what was a great game
I’ve been playing since this game first started but the updates have gradually weakened your birds, the towers are much harder to knock down and the proliferation of micro pigs on balloons or in inaccessible places spoil the game. That, together with the need to pay more and more to play the game well means that the deeper your pockets the bigger and stronger your birds will grow. Yes you need some skill to play well but money is King in this game.
The latest update has really caused an uproar. It makes the game so much harder for everyone even seasoned players.
The fun has been knocked out of this game for me and a lot of players. Updates are churned out without testing on a test group therefore the game is full of glitches. The latest update has radically changed every aspect of the game to its detriment. What a shame. It was a great game.

The latest update will have most great players quitting
I used to enjoy this game, but with the latest update they managed to turn me off game completely.
The new Arena in Master’s league is a joke, they match you with much higher opponent with maxed out birds or give you unrealistic bot, which you can’t beat even striking every room. When you lose, you go down in rating, so I find myself not even playing my free plays anymore.
Clan battle gives you 12k feathers plus some useless black pearls for 2 day grind, but Arena has 31k feathers a day, which you can’t get if you happen to be in top 10. Makes clan rewards unmotivating and arena extremely frustrating.
On the other hand, casual player has much better experience. Those who play 15 mins a day can easily complete the streak and earn rewards, while so called “masters” left with nothing.
I’ll be uninstalling the game and looking for a less frustrating game to spend my spare time playing if nothing changes.

In app purchases failed and then you took money from account
Hi please can you refunded me my money you’ve taken from my account, my purchases in the purchase of gems failed so tried again and it failed again but apple support said you’ve charged me for 5 purchases which I didn’t do and you’ve put the gems on my account, please take them off as they said they’d failed so I don’t want them just return the charges on my card and you need to look into this as it’s wrong that this has happened to me, when this is done I’m going to delete the game as there is an issue with your game. What Happened?
I’ve had this app since it’s release and slowly but surely it’s became more about in app purchases than the actual game play the game itself is a great idea and graphically near perfect...but. Sometimes it feels like one of those games you play when you go to the carnival, you know the ones. Get the ring over the pin, yep those ones. You know were the rings just that little bit smaller than the others, that’s the way it feels with some of the buildings and trying to get the pigs, they’re just that bit out of reach. that’s the disappointing aspect of the game then you have watch videos for this chest watch videos for that chest all for the same prizes, why ? All I ask for is a little more excitement and a change of scenery in the different levels Rovio.

I’m disappointed, but it’s not what you think
When I saw this game on the ads 3 years ago, I was like I have to download this. I did and I played it for a while. Even though it was really hard, I really enjoyed it and it became my favourite game! So why would I give it 1 star? There isn’t any reason, right?
Well I’ll tell you why I did that. Since school opened, I didn’t really have enough time to play it. But when I came back to play after a few months, it said “Connection Error.” I was in a country with slow internet, so I thought that was the problem. But now I came to England where the internet is very good. I tried playing it, but it said the same message. I was annoyed so I decided to delete the app and download it again. The same thing happened.
Looking at most of the reviews, I see many people complaining about how hard the game is. But isn’t that the nature of any game? When this game was still working, I also found it hard but I always enjoyed playing it. Please fix this issue, because I love this game.

Great but can be frustrating at times.
While I enjoy the game a lot I do have some gripes. Firstly, spells are virtually useless. They can’t be used in boss levels, which, while I understand why they had to do this, boss levels are they ones which I struggle on(mostly) so I end up having over 100 of each spell. Why can’t I trade them for other items?! Secondly, the pigs. Some of the layouts don’t exactly go with some of the buildings (if you don’t understand how this game works there are certain layouts which is where unbreakable objects are and buildings which is where breakable objects are. They randomly select a layout and some buildings to go with it, except from in the DL and the KPP where it’s pre-selected.) Sometimes this will lead to an unwinnable level. Once I launched a boss pig so high with bubbles that the boss pig ended up somewhere that nothing else could reach. Funny as it was, I was forced to forfeit, which was annoying. Other than those gripes, this game is amazing. The bird’s abilities can be used in so many ways and using them correctly can be so rewarding. Every single mode is creative and hours have been spent in EVERY SINGLE ONE. And those people who are getting out their theory books, no. This game does not fake online.

Games going downhill!
So this game used to be great and all that, but now it’s just getting worse and worse as each day goes by for the people who don’t spend money on it! I mean each game mode now has things to spend your jems on meaning that (to a certain extent, it’s now not just who best, but also who’s got the most money!). I mean there are little issues with the game here and there, like how the aiming bar will say that it’s going to go over the wall yet the actual bird goes into it and goes completely off course, and that it won’t always give you that free extra life (for watching an ad) in the elevator shaft, but these issues are becoming more and more annoying and to make things worse, they’re making the levels SOOO much harder now, meaning that if you don’t use your gems (which after not so long you’ll run out of unless you spend money in the game) to get extra birds, you won’t complete them! Sorry but this game used to be an AMAZING 5 STAR game, but now because of its greed for money it’s a 3 star! 🙁

Bring the classics back!!!!!!!
So I only find out just now that you have pulled all of the classic games in the series (the original, Epic, Space, Rio etc) in favour of turning your current games into money-grabbing scam machines . Please bring them back, and make it so we buy they upfront instead of employing the “pay-to-win” model. I have uninstalled ALL games now until the classics come back. I don’t CARE what the half-baked excuse is, you should always keep the originals available even if you are not going to add anything new. I’m sure many other players will agree. You already took away Fight! which I used to enjoy, and now you have taken others as well and left us with all the newer ones that nobody actually likes. Come on, Rovio, do us all a favour here. If you turn your back on the community, they will turn their backs on YOU.

Updates to make you buy more gems
So.... the new update. Play the daily challenge for extra cards to use in mighty eagle to get a better score!... don’t be fooled. Its a gimmick to make you buy even more gems to keep up with other players, to get a better score to get a better frame. Now I do spend money on this app as I’ve enjoyed playing, that’s my way of saying thank you to the developers. But you have to draw a line somewhere and this is it for me. These updates make the game less enjoyable, and more tedious as they will make you play for longer, or you can just keep throwing gems at it. The game will make your flock powerless, Chuck will get stopped in his tracks by wood, Terrence gets stopped in his tracks by a ballon! Etc. You may think your having a bad run, and you can’t hit a barn door, but trust me it’s not what bird you are using. It’s just if the the game wants you to score low to frustrate you in to using more gems to get a better score, which I didn’t mind, but it’s happening in to much game play for me now, thanks developers for the fun. But I’m deleting. Hope your updates get better, and less demanding!

Impressive, but bugs 👎
Okay here comes my first ever App review:
I am seriously impressed by this app, it’s free, there aren’t many adverts and the overall graphics and challenges, are, as the titles says, really impressive.
There’s so much to do, it’s almost heard to keep up. Daily challenges, battles, as well as the actual game, of completing levels.
It’s both easy and hard, it’s challenging and rewarding. Overall it’s very fun.
However, with all of that comes a bit of a cost. No app is perfect. Unfortunately I am constantly finding new bugs within the app, on every update.
Some of the examples would include:
1. No sound if you play the level more than once.
2. The app crashes if I repeat a level/game
3. Unable to gain apples to feed my hatchling. 😓 (poor Dave)
4. Unable to load game, then crashing.
I have done everything in my power to rid these bugs. And yet I always end up with the same result. I think my love for this game causes me to show more frustration when it simply will not work!
Otherwise a 5/5. It’s great. Just please get the bugs to go! 🙈

Special items disappeared from all chests???
The game mechanics itself are almost faultless. The aggressive IAP is quite shameless, but the game is still playable and fun without having to necessity spend. One of the ways to get items without spending was to watch ads to obtain the ‘Special Item’ cards that can be used during stages. After the latest update however, these have seemingly disappeared from all chests and only seem to appear in-stage, or as part of a prize for completing a challenge that you would most likely need to use the items to actually complete! Once the ones I have are exhausted - I will most likely not be playing the game. I do not understand the developers logic in making one of the few redeemable features that keeps players coming back completely unavailable; impossible to get via watching ads, and cannot be purchased. Instead, they have replaced these items with feathers and blackballs which make no discernible difference to the fun playing experience the ‘Special Items’ offered. The exclusion of the items from the newest update is a confusingly counter-intuitive move from Rovio. “Let’s make the game less fun and more expensive.” Yes, very smart guys.

Meh
There are some ups that we can all agree on, like the hats, the feathers to give to your birds and the hatchling, but there are as much downsides. First, some pigs are basically impossible to get to. Secondly, black pearls are too often put into chests. I do not like this at all because of the fact that you can only buy hats with those. Very rarely, you would find anything else. This game has a lot of good stuff in it and bad stuff, and there are rooms for improvement. This game is not bad, but if I am being honest, I would definitely prefer the OG Angry Birds, back when Silver wasn’t even a part of the flock. I really do miss those days... I would also like to see the toons added as a part of this game. I remember being a kid and watching a toon like every day when it was in the ToonsTV on Angry Birds Go. In conclusion, this game is still good, and I would still recommend downloading it, but be aware that it isn’t as good as the good old games, like Rio and Space.

Great game but...
I feel like most of the reviews here are true, this is a great game and I have spent countless hours into it. Rovio (bad speller alert) have really gone out there way to say “hey this a free to play game so please buy our gems so we can make the 3rd angry birds movie”. I bet half of the angry birds movie 2 budget came from people spending hard earned money that goes to waste on this cheesey game. Now angry birds games have never been taken seriously, these are cheese and silly so take this review with a pinch of salt, but I do agree that this much money asking in a kids game is disgusting, I mean kids are gonna want to play this and your shoving money in there faces, it disgusts me how much money app developers ask for and yes I’m looking at you MARIO KART TOUR

Soooo poor
I like this game just to start off with but there greed has got out of control.
1. There are now so many adverts you now have to watch even when you haven’t even click the button to watch the advert.
2. When I watch a advert to get a free bird because some how when I’m so far in front in a battle I some how get caught? So watch the advert and surprise surprise it crashes and go’s back to your home screen, when you go back to the game it has taken you life, and you haven’t got a free bird, and you have lost your spells you worked to get.
3. It’s so rigged it’s a joke, there’s things that happen in this game you just can’t explain because they want you to lose so you spend money. Now I don’t mind spending some money but they don’t play fair, it rips you off every time buy making you play people who you have no chance against, making levels so hard that it can take days to complete unless you spend money to get passed it, and once again the game crashing at least I would say 10-15 times a day.
I’ve complained to them before and I never got a reply and nothing has changed. It’s a great game to play and very addictive, but the company are running into the ground as they don’t care and there customers.

Enjoyable, but extremely rigged
This game is enjoyable, and too and extent I’d say it’s one of my favourite games to play. However it’s not just those birds that are angry. I, too, am extremely angry with the outcome of this game, most of the time. From the rigged mini games, and more so, rigged levels which are near enough impossible to complete, what’s the deal with those? Additionally, having the daily challenge locked behind a pay wall is a huge turn off, why should I have to pay £10 to complete the daily challenge? Furthermore, the arena matchmaking is broke, putting me against equal players on a low streak but as soon as it becomes high I can never beat anyone I’m against as they’re near 20+ power above me. Changes need to be implemented to make this game less P2W, and definitely less rigged.

some possible updates for glitches?
so i have been playing for about 1-3 months and i'm losing hope for playing the game, gems are not that easy to get and you could lose a lot of gems for getting more birds to use in a level if you have wasted the previous ones trying to finish the level, this could also be a problem for some other things: for example , when you want to replay a tournament you have to pay a specific amount to play again and i think thats just a bit unfair. Most of the time when i play the game it runs smoothly but sometimes lags making it hard for me to time a moment when i want to use the birds power-up.
There are a bit more problems like when it just kicks me out of the game and into the home screen of my phone but overall i like the game, i play it sometimes but not always. The graphics are good and there is a variety of birds to use. as i said , good but could use some fixing ( however i bet that the creators of the game are corrupted and don’t care about the game putting unfair things here and there ;)

Too many glitches
I like this game and I would give it a 5. Wanna know why I didn’t? Carry on reading then. The gems, money, effort and time it has cost me made it a one. It deducts my gems whenever I open a free rare chest even when I don’t pick another card. My rl money has been wasted when i accidentally clicked on the premium packs and payed money to get Rovio’s trashy privileges. I have spent so much time and effort to where I have gotten, and I’m not even considered a high level! So now when I lose, I watch a video to get another bird, but guess what?! I watch the video, I get the bird and then AB2 makes me go back to home so when I go back in makes me login again and then I have to start all over again and lose a free rare chest and lose time and and effort! So I’m not just saying about my problems, it’s about other people’s as well!!!

Brilliant only just started so I’m not saying 5 stars but so good starting I would of put 4 stars but I just want the boss battles to be a little harder and the other levels you could make more to them and the on the second world why don’t you get keys easily because I got keys and got 1 good character that was the bomb he’s brilliant but the other one I got was the one was the one that goes down when is high that I always miss the pigs and make more extra games on it I mean like the one where you pick the box and you pick another thing until you get a pig so make more games like that love the game and ignore those hate comments good job 👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💞💘💘💘💘💖💖💖💖💗💗💗💗💓💓💓💓💓ANGRY BIRDS 2! What a shame
This started off quite fun, but is getting silly. Firstly, it seems to be cutting out a lot more frequently, causing one to lose games in the arena. Secondly, it’s suddenly become more difficult to acquire spells, and very difficult indeed to acquire many gems, all of which require spending money to get in decent supply. The lack of them limits enjoyment of the app. Finally, as another reviewer has mentioned, the arena games really feel rigged, and it is embarrassingly obvious that ones opponent is fictitious. Have to say I’m getting bored of it.
WHY DOES IT KEEP MAKING BITS OF MY DASHBOARD DISAPPEAR AFTER IVE PLAYED IT? DOESNT HAPPEN WITH ANY OTHER APPS
Now has new fault, watch video for something free, get ad you can’t quit without reloading, so you lose whatever you were going to get. Time to delete the app, I think, it’s too frustrating to be fun any more
