I’m literally addicted to this game it’s so fun and the campaigns and that but there is one feature I really want them to add and that is like a free play so we can do whatever we want and we can pick a certain map but I totally recommend this game!

I’ve played this game for a while now and really seem to enjoy it as it is another addition to the franchise and overall it’s great.But there are a few issues that I have to address,one is that when I’m doing a stealth attack from above,my character is not in the animation and he teleports back to where he was before.And sometimes in combat,my camera stays in place but my assasssin seems to run of beyond the barrier and I can’t move or do anything.But I’m enjoying it as I’ve been trying to find a great mobile game but this is definitely top 5.I hope the developers respond to this .

The game is great, however I got 3 missions in and now can’t move from Home Screen, I can see reviews from 3 years ago saying the same thing and this issue still hasn’t been patched, would not recommend buying. What a shame

Game play is ok controls are slightly clunky with movement not being that fluid. It’s ok to pass the time but it’s not like the console version, gets a bit tedious with set objectives and controls limit how you approach target sometimes exposing you.

This is an update to a review I wrote almost 2 years ago.

I’m having a lot of fun despite some of the control issues which can be frustrating at times but once you’ve gotten use to it this game is a delight to play. It may not be perfect but it’s a decent Assassins Creed game for mobile none the less, I just wish there were more campaign levels that being said there is a great variety in contract missions as well as a crafting system and classes with a skill tree.

The game has a well thought a pretty currency system so you have your credits and hero points, these can be earned by completing achievements in the social tab as well as the missions. Credits are used in crafting and unlocking skills and an extra Assassin to play as. Hero points are used in the shop to unlock more contract missions, ranks and items spend them wisely as it can take a while to build up but well thought out so you don’t progress too quickly above your level by being able to unlock the next rank so soon that the missions are too difficult. You can always change back any rank you like thankfully provided you’ve unlocked them.

Pros+

+Good graphics, this was released in 2014 for Australia and world wide 2016 so for their it’s time and for a mobile game it’s good

+Good progression system. As well as the missions credits and hero points can be earned from achievements listed in the social tab

+Nice crafting system

+Supports the use of a Bluetooth Xbox controller I noticed from testing so that gives users another way to play if they can’t deal with the touch screen controls

Cons -

-Controls can be a bit janky at times but not so bad after you’ve mastered them

-movement controls for some unknown reason tend to swap when you’d think the right hand side of the screen is just to control the camera sometimes you’d accidentally control your Assassin. This happens rarely but it is a thing that occurs.

-Theme music doesn’t play again on the menu until game restart after the music ends or you play a mission. The music is an option in the sounds settings as well as the other general game sounds. The music is heard so seldom for me that I have no reason to turn it off plus it sounds pretty good.

Overall the game is good for a mobile game but I think could still have been so much more despite the limitations at the time for mobile gaming.

Previously played on Iphone 5s, currently playing on iphone 10 (X) and runs great on both phones with no performance issues.

It looked amazing and had the potential to be great but the controls are letting the game down. I did one mission and was already getting annoyed with the character just doing random things because the controls are so difficult. Rather than looking around he kept climbing on things or stabbing people as the “right bottom corner” is already occupied by other options so it’s very difficult to get the camera up to look around and change direction.

I also had a couple of times that when hiding in a haystack the screen just froze and there was no other option than to restart the game. By the second mission I got so frustrated I gave up. Shame as I really looked forward to this.

The best way I can describe this game is that it’s an empty, experimental version of the the original AC games, but void of any story or any fun. It feels like a hollow failed template of how they want a future AC games on mobile phones to become, an idea that should have been scrapped from the start.

After playing it for 20 minutes and knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t download it even if it was for free.

Bottom line, it really is a very bad game in every way other than graphically. Avoid.

From what I’ve played so far, I’d say I’m enjoying finally having a decent Assassin’s Creed game released on mobile, but to be honest, with the graphic potential mobile gaming currently holds, I feel the graphics are a tad shabby. Think PUBG, Fortnite, Oceanhorn 2, and many other open world games. They’re all appear nice to the eye.

As for the mobility, I was hoping for more freeroaming, high action, exploration style content like the console games. Alas, I know mobile tech has its limits, but for Ubisoft, this seems like a halfassed effort. I KNOW YOU COULD HAVE DONE BETTER.

None the less, I think it’s a pretty sweet play. Thanks for bringing something to mobile that made me feel closer to the origin than before.

It’s fun, with some pretty decent graphics for what it is. Some of the same experience as the series, which made me smile. But it is glitchy, hasn’t been updated in ages and is very limited: only two campaigns. Took me a couple of days of occasional play to finish. I can’t understand it! If you’ve gone to the trouble to develop the code for the game mechanics, surely further campaigns is just a matter of variations on a theme? Still, it’s ok, and certainly has the potential to be very fun, if the developers were interested.
