Stupid feature ruins the entire app

This would be an immediate 5 stars but there is one issue that knocks it all the way down to one. When you open camera roll through Canva to select images it scatters them. Upon googling it has said that it’s sorting them through time taken but this cannot be true as I am using photos all taken at the same time consecutively and then sent to my device and saved and it is throwing them back to weeks ago in my camera roll making it near impossible to find them. This is a ridiculous “feature” making nothing easier and making the app almost impossible to use! There seems to be no fix or solution to this either.

Professional looking content quickly and easily

I love the Canva app. I found it so easy to learn to use and I can make professional looking projects of all kinds quickly and easily. It allows me to match text type and colour perfectly. I have tried other apps but they are more complicated and don’t have the same number of features. Canva definitely comes out on top for me. I use it in my business, in my paid job and to create beautiful things for my home and personal use too. It is really versatile and for what you get it’s really cost effective too.

Amazing business tool

I am so glad I found Canva early on into starting my own business. It has helped me so much, especially with the dreaded social media content creations by having endless amounts of templates. I’ve also used the printing services for multiple items and have found the resulting products to be of an excellent quality and extremely good value. I have found all the functions to be very user friendly and the media library with photos, graphics and videos to have an overwhelming amount of choice. Its the only app that I am more than happy to pay for the pro version I will continue to be signed up to! Always like to finish a review with a constructive comment, would be perfect if you could have the option of paying the fee for Canva pro monthly instead of annually so its not so much of a big hit

I subscribed to this app for a month and I found its functionality very limited so I didn’t renew my subscription . I then needed something that would allow very detailed cut outs and Canva came recommended, there was even an image similar to what I needed in its preview but when you get to it it’s so basic - I have apps for free that do better. Like if you’re cutting out something detailed the tap doesn’t detect it in magic eraser do you muddy use the brush and most apps even free ones show a magnified view of what’s behind your finger so you cut out in a streamlined detailed way this one doesn’t do that you car see the detail - it’s behind the finger no detailed but here, Faldo advertising, I have free apps that do that most basic thing so I’d expect more from this. But no . It’s a basic app with functions available in free apps but here they don’t work as well as those.

As daft as it might sound, I was always put off getting Canva due to how much everyone raved about it. I finally took the plunge, and I’m so glad I did. It’s amazing! There are so many designs to choose from, and simple features, like being able to resize a design automatically for various social media platforms with just one click, are incredibly useful. The ability to post directly to my platforms instantly or schedule posts has actually saved me money, as I used to use third-party apps for this. The only thing it’s missing is the ability to edit or reply to social media comments, but that’s not what Canva is for. I love it and would encourage you to pay for the full subscription.

Seren- I wish cuz I know it’s a great app it would have been 5***** promise but…

I wrote a review on this a while ago, and the feedback I got from the developer did not help at all 😭

So basically my sisters both have this app on the same type and update version of phone and they’re loving Canva- in fact they are using the AI right now to write a really cute song.

Anyway so I downloaded this app a year ago (ye a year and I still believe in you Canva) and was so excited to start using it for my work and also just fun like my sisters and so it’s been fully updated, deleted and redownloaded so many times but let me get to the problem- IT DOESNT EVEN LOAD it just stays on the Canva loading screen I once left it for an hour and still- I am so disappointed!

Btw I’ve seen this same problem on loads of peoples reviews- you srsly need to fix this^

Great app…. But

This app has so many cool features and I want to love it, but I use my iPhone to edit gaming videos into something more interesting for my TikTok page.

But even after adding only a couple of edits onto a project it starts to act sluggish and doesn’t load right, like it can’t handle the load? if I try to watch my edit as I’m working on it, it just doesn’t load up. Sometimes the sound doesn’t even match up correctly, so my only choice is to download it on my device just to find out it’s not been edited right. It’s extremely frustrating. I work on other apps like InShot and I never have any issues. But Canva has so many more features!

So annoying

This was so annoying to use it took like 7 year to do something and it was slow and boring also sum stuff would just not work like I would try and colour something and it would only colour half of it so I have to make it with just 1 line at a time it was also really expensive it was like 50 quid for 50 things 😬this was a really annoying app to use and it took so long it took like 900 years to do one thing and like when I used a font I have to delete sum small text that was next to it also the app don’t make stuff clear uou can hardly tell the different a if your making a card or something else also copying from one to a nother project was really annoying I have to exit the project I was working on then go to the home puton than strol than I could copy it than I could go back and paste it they need to make it less cuny to use

Love Canva, kind of hate the app

I’ve been using Canva Pro on and off for years but only recently started using the app on my iPad and I do find it quite frustrating; The side tool bar doesn’t go away even when you tap away from it when using things like colour changes and positioning, sometimes you’ll tap to the side of a page and it will whoosh back to the top page, getting a straight line is a nightmare if you have anything else on the page. Just a few difficult to explain but annoying-when-they-happen issues that make working on the app less convenient. I really like the programme itself, especially being able to stop and start my subscription when it suits me, so I hope some improvements come to the app eventually.

Incredibly frustrating

Spent two hours on making a video which was created for me using the wizard but then I had to tweak it which was a pain.

Then once finished I found I couldn’t download it without Pro because of the music it had automatically used which I couldn’t remove or change.

Was using a phone which won’t do Apple Pay and there’s no other option of paying so had to swap to second iPhone, so I could sign up to a free trial.

Then found some of the videos weren’t working properly so had to reload them up from the second phone. Then I couldn’t download it on that device, swapped back to the first phone.

Now the finished product is there and I’m signed up to their trial, but some of the videos don’t work again, so then I had to reload them up, slowly copy and pasting the text boxes etc, then I couldn’t download it on that device either.

Swapped to a laptop, some of the videos don’t work on there either, then couldn’t download it on that. No help option, just says ‘can’t download, try again’ etc.

Literally hours wasted.

Safe to say I’ve cancelled the trial and gone back to basic IMovie!

Not great anymore

I’ve been using the app for a long time, have a pro account and here’s the thing… what the app can potentially do is phenomenal. A lot of people who tend to be technologically inept find this app useful, as well as those used to using powerful tools for marketing content. After all the work I produce however, I download a video to my phone and begin seeing text justification skewed, font often warped etc. I go to the bot for help, it then directs me to canva support, I then contact support for them to tell me the same exact thing! I feel like the app is trying too much at one time before allowing the basics to work as fluidly as they should on all fronts. Creating a basic piece of animated text for a quote should not cause me such inconveniences, and should not be inconsistent at this point. The potential is insane but I’ll be cancelling my pro account at the end of the month and will find something different for my team going forward. Canva was better before it got complex.

Not what I was looking for.

Actually wanted an app that would let me design and produce my own art. Thinking about it being as one of the most expensive apps out there. Couldn’t have been more wrong on every level because what I found wasn’t a cheap option and definitely not inferior in any way. In fact just the opposite because this doesn’t justify the Canva app it fly’s much higher with a deeper understanding of people want and encourage them to go much further than they anticipated. Im in no way affiliated with company but will definitely recommend it for anyone from beginners to professional for all you need. Safe to say its absolutely an amazing platform and easy to use with no complicated jargon that goes with so many other platforms. Well done Canva

Great App That Could Do With Some Tweaks

I’ve used Canva for a couple of projects now. It’s fairly easy to use for designs but I have struggled with video editing. The Canva Design videos & bot assistant are not 100% helpful. I could not edit Voiceovers for my video to my liking (I’d like it as an editable track, not something stuck to the video, and I could not see the video playing so that I could “narrate” as the video progressed), my laptop fan goes nuts using the app (also making it hard to record Voiceover), the video/audio playback lags and/or skips (frustrating when you’re trying to get the timings just so). I ended up record my voiceover on my phone’s Voice Memo app, uploaded it, then split & edited it to my liking. However, there is a maximum of 50 tracks so I was unable to fully edit my 50+ list of instructions, which is not great for a tutorial video. I would recommend, obviously, but I would hope that updates might improve things.

I have been responded to and nowhere does it say my name is Gurpreet… when I go to find support, a human, it is difficult to speak to anyone. Stupid bots, pre-written troubleshooting issues aren’t always needed. I want to give feedback, help by speaking to a human but there is no way of contacting the developer - even clicking on the link you have just sent. What’s wrong with a live chat or an email address?!

Frequent issues

I’ve used Canva Pro for a little while now and really love what I’m able to do with it. Unfortunately for a little while now I’ve had quite a few issues whereby my saved designs don’t save with changes or edits I’ve made, when I try to use certain effects they won’t work and I spend a lot of my time re-doing a lot of my designs. This is quite frustrating considering I have a pro plan. If you don’t have good service or aren't connected to WiFi you’re not able to do anything. I’ve raised issues I’ve had with Canva and it’s not resolved the problems I keep having with my designs. If these faults can be resolved I’d be giving Canva 5 stars.

I don’t have many competitors to reference for comparison but I can say I love the app! Especially now I’m faster at creating, PRO is essential for getting the job done right!

Great integrations, features, operating, sharing, printing service.

The option to pick up on user habits to personalise the experience would be great for example my screen is often filled with stuff I don’t need, want or have ever used (reference to pre designed products) more focus on all my own creations and frequently used would be best.

Theming would also be a great tool, the brand kit is great but could possibly hold self set “rules” to help users keep to themes so content can remain consistent until chosen to be different x

Great app!

Super great app to use for my business. I even purchased the pro version which I never do for anything!! Only criticism, is the 100 image limit for Magic Edit. I use this a lot for creating flat lay images for my business, and it obviously is never going to be right with the first suggestion that pops up, so I’m always flicking through the options which means I can easily have reached the limit without even managing 10 photos.

It’s a shame as it puts a halt to the work I’m doing. Unsure if this is just temporary as it’s a new feature, but removing the limit would honestly make this app a 20/10

Very Personable App!

Free reprints on business cards that came out slightly different to what they looked like online!

Printed some business cards recently and i’m not too tech savvy so didn’t realise i didn’t properly colour match or flatten the image to the background after i added my logo so the prints came out a bit dodgy even though it wasn’t apparent on my computer screen.

Sent Canva an email and got a reply in less than 24 hours with an explanation of why they came out the way they did and how to fix it for next time i edit something! Also got offered a free reprint with the colour mismatch fixed by them! Amazing customer service, really understanding and personable :)

Extremely flexible

Canva is such a useful app, I’d been looking for somewhere to create collages, wallpapers and vision boards for a while. I couldn’t find any other apps that allow you to organise your ideas so coherently, move images and text around on the page and edit things to your preference. It has readymade templates that can be used or edited to your individual style. Tested and tried

There is so much you can do with this app, I tried it on my Mac to make a special video, so many good effects, and easy to use, with many transitions, I loved this but did stumble on 3 main issues, firstly it auto saves which I didn’t like because when I accidentally split a photo the undo button didn’t work, meaning I had to delete some pics and start again, sometimes I wanted to try something but found it difficult to revert, I would like to see an option to not auto save and do it manual, also I wanted to add 3 short video's at the end, but all my pictures needed to be landscape, but you can’t change your video’s to portrait without it changing all your other pics, this was a pain because the videos had heads cut off, no option either to zoom out on the vids, meaning I had to save 2 seperate creations and upload them to make it tie in together. Hope they find a way around this which is why I gave 4 starts

Basic-free or Pro-subscribed - works brilliantly!!

I’ve used Canva now for a couple of years or more and it really does inspire and promote creativity - whether it’s for social media, business or just for fun!! Love the professionalism - scope of choice and user friendly approaches. Tons of templates - make life easier and deliver ideas upon ideas. The fact that you can share in a group is incredibly versatile. I once shared with my Webdesigner…and it was awesome. The free trial for the ‘pro’ Canva is well worth trying and especially to go with it if you’re a professional or lay-designer, like me. Love the imaginative graphics as something for everyone. And you can upload your own photos. Look… don’t take my word for it. Just sign up and play……

Couldn’t run my business without it

I never normally write reviews to be honest, but I’ve decided to write a review for Canva. Without this app my business would be so much more difficult to run. I am not very tech savvy so using Canva I can quickly create promotional content for my socials I can create quote forms, invoices. They all look super professional as though I’d have spent hours making them, when really it took me about 5 minutes.

There is dozens of templates to use and edit however suits you best, I always use them as a guide and put my own stamp on them. I do pay for the subscription, as I found a lot of the pro stuff was more useful for my business, however the free option still has loads to play with. Worth every penny and definitely my go to app for anything relating to my business!

Amazing. Worried about the roadmap

The app is so good that you want to rely on it for all your works. However, a couple of things are not fit for powerusers and the last updates focused on mug prints and face retouch…??? 1. It is hard to select overlapping items one by one. It always picks the one above. It is impossible to select an element behind a block of text. You must tediously move the text around. 2. To solve 1. I would want to lock the top layer. If I lock an item, I don’t want it selected if I tap the area it covers. We d love to manage and unlock items in a different panel. 3. Aspect ratio of uploaded images is constant , cannot resize in only one direction. 4. The pop up long press menu appears exactly under your finger…which immediately taps the first item…please move it a bit! 5. If you zoom in too much on a text and edit, you cannot leave the mode (only phone app)There’s no way to select anything else to deselect you text. 6. if you select multiple and accidentally hit the background of the page, you lose all your selection 7. You have to press twice to open the upload dialog 8. You have to press twice in the left menu to open each tab 9. you can crop an item so the remainder is outside of the sheet, but then you cannot tap it anymore. 10 the default colour for some elements seem random within the current palette. maybe use the last used colour? 11. emoji in text are not exported properly

This app is in a class of its own,from social media thumbnails,channel art ,video re-shaping its a dream come true for me,and its just so well packaged and presented in a way that it makes so many other apps on the app store inconsequential ,i met a man who owned his own buisness and he was telling me he would love to create his own advertising cards or pamphlet and i showed him this app and when i seen him 2 weeks later he told me his wife thought he was having affair because he was always on his phone on this canva app lol,he loves this app ,he said its changed everything for him in a positive way,he ended up showing his wife the app and what he was doing to put her mind at ease,anyway great app developers ,just great

really good, but also frustrating.

I’ve been using this app for around a month now and i use it mainly to create content for my small business pages. The variety is amazing, there are so many templates to choose from that mostly likely something similar to your vision is there. I also pay for the Pro version so i can content plan and schedule posts. The frustrating part is, the videos i schedule to post do not play once posted on my Instagram! It was my business re-brand and it didn’t go as smoothly as it could have due to this massive error. I’m so nervous it’s going to keep happening that i’ve copied and pasted all of my captions just in case i have to re-upload them all individually! Also, I can relate to many people on here that say that have an issue with crashing and freezing as my app sometimes does this too. There’s also a glitch that doubles my scheduled posts making it seem like i’ve scheduled them twice; i deleted the duplicates only for the app to crash and close and all my scheduled posts were gone! having to start again was heartbreaking. So yeah, overall good app but could defo improve in some places, especially when peoples hard effort and precious time is affected/wasted.

Very limited quantity of pictures

Yes-even thought Canva has loads of pictures but all are artificial smiles or funny face expressions which I cannot put on my mental health website because they simply dont display what I want-emotions are not real. I was looking for the house cleaning women, all women making dumb funny faces, or sitting funny or making silly body postures. Feels like its not serious Canva application but for children’s application. Also I was looking for people that simply lying down on sofa listening to muaic quietly, but all the people were moving and shaking retlesly. I cannot find what I. Looking for, I have to acroll through hundreds of imigaes to find 1 which at least is similar what Im looking for. Im very dissapointed. Feels like childrens fun corner not site with quality images to put in websites

Great app poor service

Canva is one of those apps that can change your life when everything works correctly. It has endless ways to develop your business and personal digital workings. It’s something I recommend all the time, until a year ago when I experience my first double charges. Attempting to contact the team I became frustrated with the automated responses, the break down of the ‘team system’ is not clear and you could wind up paying more that you expect with little or no help on resolving the issue.

Months later I decided to pay for the year (give it a second chance) because surely paying for the year would mean no extra charges. Unfortunately 1 month after so this, apparently a subscription was set up because I opened the app on my phone and 6 months later I realise I had also been paying a monthly subscription on top of a yearly subscription. One directly and then one through apple on 2 different cards, my business and my personal and still no one can tel how or why this happens. This app is great, until someone makes one with great customer service alongside it. It seem the most protective way for me to use this app is on my laptop only which is slightly inconvenient.

Almost Perfect

This app is brilliant, the amount of free content available for creators is truly amazing and you’re able to create beautiful content however the app is not without bugs.

This app often glitches back to the first page in a series of designs which can be frustrating, and it can also often glitch so that designs do not appear as your place them. Which can make it hard to finalise designs.

These glitches occur somewhat often, it seems to depend on what mood the app is in on any given day. Once sorted out this app will be absolutely perfect.

It was good when it worked.

Started using this about two years ago. It was initially brilliant and worked perfectly - very fast, great features and seemed reliable so I subscribed to the pro version but now I would no longer recommend it because in recent months both the app and website usually fail to load so it has become unusable. Canva have not managed to resolve this as yet although they did respond and manage to get it working almost correctly for a short while after I contacted them. For me personally the user experience bears no resemblance to the quality of service advertised which is a shame as it could be an amazing app.

New update is an issue!!

After this latest update I have had issue after issue with downloads 😫... It comes up with “we are unable to download your design. Canva experienced a technical issue...” Oh my gosh it’s so frustrating... Please can you rectify ASAP!!

There are so many times it’s crashing, it won’t let me select individual pages to download and sometimes it won’t save changes that I have made. I have contacted Canva via social media and email but not had any response...

Before this I loved the app it was consistently great but now it’s messing up all the time I can’t rely on it when I need to create content. I am looking at other options.

Great ideas but sooo slow

CANVA has really good templates, and their options are endless however I’ve spent HOURS/DAYS developing a logo and business card. After deciding on my design I wanted to tweak a few things which took me 6hours to do as the app constantly freezes at ever stage after every click and is super slow.

I’ve read lots of reviews and watched many videos and all say the same thing. It’s so annoying that something that should take 30mins or sometimes seconds to do takes double or triple the time because of the bugs. I’ve tried deleting all unused data / images and designs which also took hours to do as there is no select all - delete button and you have to delete everything 2x. Once from your photos and then from your trash.

These issues have been going on for months and no update seems to fix the problems. I use the free option and it really puts me off ever paying for the pro version.

All the CANVA responses seem to say the same thing send a trouble shooting or more detailed email which I refuse to do as they must have had hundreds/thousands of people say the same thing and they haven’t fixed the common issues.

I wouldn’t recommend CANVA if you want a stress free design app that doesn’t take up weeks of your times for a logo and business card however for a quick Instagram story with not too much thought or design is needed it does the job.

No communication

I was really enjoying this app, until they are taking too long to answer a simple email that I have been sending them to try to solve a problem that the App presented when printing, I am really disappointed! they don’t answer me and on something that needed to be delivered within 5 business days a week has passed and my email hasn’t been resolved in the way I expected for something that was already debited from my account.

CRASHES 3/4 OF THE TIME!!

Let me start by saying Canva is an amazing app and the fact that we get this level of customisability for free is amazing. However, lately, the app crashes up to 75% of the time when I open it. It doesn’t respond to anything I do and then maybe after 2 minutes, it will perform the first action I told it to perform and then after another minute the next. It is really annoying because not only does this happen but when it finally crashes and closes, none of the work I did BEFORE it started lagging saves. I don’t know if this is because of the update or anything but I know it didn’t do this before. I am also using an iPad Pro so I know it is not because of performance issues. PLEASE, PLEASE FIX THIS!

Buggy.. constant crashes & freezing

I love Canva. I’ve used it for years across all my devices. However the app is so buggy and constantly crashes. It freezes at almost every stage and takes ages for elements to upload particularly because of the crashing. It makes simple, quick time tasks take double/triple the time to complete which defeats the purpose of using the app.

The crashes and bugs have been going on for months and months - whether on my iPad or laptop - and I’ve seen many other users complain over the same things. Despite this feedback there has been no improvement and I’m not sure why not.

I notice the developers respond to the reviews with some excuses or ask the customer to send a report and troubleshoot themselves. (By the way I’ve done all the troubleshooting I can possibly do. Still doesn’t change the fact the app has bugs / crashes).

Surely if so many people are giving the same feedback then it’s a fault the Developers should be looking in to themselves and not passing the buck! Like myself, I’m sure other customers just want to get on with their professional work or projects... we do not want to be wasting any more precious time sending reports on behalf of the Makers. They can do this for themselves.

To the Developers, please fix ASAP! This could be such a wonderful app otherwise.

Amazing App and Customer Support

I use this app daily and it has so many features and options for posting media on various platforms. The purpose made templates are brilliant. Recently I had a technical issue with the app and sent an email asking for help. I received a reply asking for screen recordings of what the issue was, the person was extremely helpful and quick to send replies. I was given the help I needed to fix the issue. Don’t think i’ve ever even had one response from an app company I have contacted, Canva responded every time to my emails until a solution had been found. Thank you guys.

What happened :(

I used to love this app, I still do but now the flaws weigh heavier than before leaving me in search of a new app. I’ve been using this app since 2015, I’ve see their biggest flaw at the time for me which was how slow and laggy everything was, I watched them become something that I had no problems with at all, recommended them to every friends business I knew and now it’s just horrible. I can’t even use it, every-time I edit my text it changes the words into nonsense, repeating words in “AAAAAA” continuously or some other text I can barely understand. I’ve updated the app, removed it, downloaded it again and nothing. Even when I think finally it hasn’t edited the text, once downloaded it shows half the text in another language or some nonsense. This is really annoying as I have to create posts on a daily basis and now have to look for a brand new app.

Issues with loading

I love this app and use regularly for my personal design work. However, of late, I can’t even access the app on my phone or laptop.

As per other comments, where it used to be a breeze to use, now it’s very jumpy and buggy - so when you do manage to access it, it can mean time spent doing the same amends over and over again, as it loses them or jumps about to much from the text box you want to edit versus a text box you don’t.

Today, is another day, where I planned to use it, but instead have become very frustrated as I am unable to login in again - either via my phone or laptop. Such a shame ‘cos it is an amazing app when it works.

Please can you help in resolving these issues.

Good - but there are some huge flaws

The pros of this app include the professional style documents that you can create. They look well made and I am overall very happy with the result. However...

They are a nightmare to create on this app. I am using the newest iPad Pro with pencil (so there is precision) but everything I click just “bounces” off. For instance, if I try and click a text box, it will highlight and then try and remove random photos from the page. There is also the issue of the “zoom” every time I click text on screen. I really don’t like having to write text where I can only see 2-3 words max before it trails off because the letters are too big. It’s only by clicking off the whole screen that you can get back to see what you wrote - only to find a spelling error and having to “zoom” back into the words, and not being able to find it again. Another issue is resizing! Every SINGLE time I try and move something on screen, it thinks I want to resize and so it takes me twice the amount of time to move, resize, shrink back down and put where I originally wanted it. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I really do like the quality of the products, but I couldn’t imagine paying for it when it’s just not user-friendly. Maybe I’ll try my laptop next time...

Always crashes!!!

Even after my last review the app is still a shambles! As much as I used to love it all it does now is crash, I cannot get through anything and it is so frustrating. I am paying a monthly fee and I basically cannot use this thing, I have tried deleting and redownloading but it is still a joke and such a shame because I have recommended this to other friends who have businesses prior to all these problems. My last reply was some sort oflink which I see no improvement. Something needs to be done to sort out this problem as soon as possible. I am currently trying to edit my last project and 12mins later I am no better off as all it does after i change anything is freeze and crash

As much as I love this app and I have even paid for the full version but every single time I use this on my phone it ALWAYS CRASHES!!! This means it takes me so long to create my business menu because it never saves what I have already done, so I am literally typing and designing one flyer for over 20minutes and this is not even the worst. I have the latest updates on my phone (iphone xs max), the latest update on the app also but this makes no difference. Please, please sort this out if possible as it is so frustrating that even now I have attempted to design another menu and it as froze and closed on my more than 5 times! Hence why I am writing this review :(

Would not recommend

I was asked to use Canva to create content for a work newsletter. I have found it to be absolutely terrible, it’s caused me no end of stress. The UI is not particularly clear, the selection and moving tools are virtually non-existent, the template I was asked to use de-saturates all my photos and there is no easy way to reverse this, it’s hard to move things around and scroll through pages and far too easy to accidentally move something when you’re trying to scroll (again, moving and selection tools!) and there seems to be no way to easily apply consistent formatting. The marquees and boxes for text are overly complicated and difficult to work with but worst of all an error message pops up literally every 30 seconds saying my work cannot be saved! And it sometimes is and sometimes isn’t! Add to this the fact that my colleagues can easily overwrite my files and folders accidentally, canva has wasted hours of my time and I have nothing to show for it. Will not be subscribing. Furious.

Really buggy

I’ve been using this app on my phone or laptop for a while but recently it’s been really buggy and inconsistent. I struggle to be able to fade my picture backgrounds to enable there to be a colour fade, sometimes I can colour fade on the IOS app, sometimes I cannot. On the desktop version it’s hit and miss whether I can see that option button.

Just recently the fonts (Josefin?) I’ve been using for my business recently seem to have changed or disappeared, and even when I open a previously designed asset to try and access it that way it’s different, so now I can’t maintain consistency in my social media!

I get really frustrated with it! It has such potential but it has a lot of little things the developers need to sort like the above details. If someone could help me I’d greatly appreciate it!

BRING BACK OLD CANVA

I used to use CANVA for all my editing needs, for flyers, posters, Facebook and media banners and poster ect, now I can’t do hardly anything I could with this app since the new update. I have to look else where as I can’t design the same and this is such a shame as CANVA had everything and was so easy to use. Just click and drop and pretty much sorted, now that’s all gone. I can’t drop photos into frames. I can’t seem to find anything I need like before. It just doesn’t work and I’m now in desperate need of a new app that can perform the same as the old CANVA. Some times things shouldn’t be messed about with and CANVA was one of those that was just perfect before. Please reconsider changing it back to before the update because I would be more than happy to start using it again, till then you have lost a faithful and happy customer. Please listen to your customers.

App was great until the latest update - now unusable UPDATE

I used this app daily for the last 12 months and it was superb on the iPad Pro, they’ve now changed it completely on version 3.1 - can no longer work in landscape mode (why? as it’s far more comfortable working on a landscape document in landscape mode) and constantly crashes - I haven’t managed to do a single edit as I can’t load any of my designs successfully. Why change something that has worked so well before? Very disappointed with their developers on this and so I will have to find a new app.

UPDATE Landscape is back but the entire interface is still ridiculously bad compared to how great it was before, you really have ruined this app. It crashes constantly and you can’t do any of the things you could before - It’s also stupid that you are asking what people would like feature-wise to improve on this app.....EVERYTHING THAT WAS IN THE PREVIOUS VERSION BEFORE YOU RUINED IT!!!!! so the review stays at 1 star -Bad step backwards like almost everyone has said. WAKE UP CANVA! I’m using something else now on the iPad.

Used to love it but...... BAD UPDATE

I have to agree with other users who have slammed the new update. I can’t seem to crop images anymore, they just ping back to their original size. Adding multiple images and changing the size if them exposes a glitch where it fills the whole screen when you try to reposition them. I do appreciate that getting angry about updates is fairly common on here and can be a sign of frustration while people get familiar with things. However, this has undone some of its most basic and fundamental abilities of the app. It is no longer fit for purpose on IPad so I will stop using it and find something else. Such a shame.

Amazing!

Amazing! There are a couple of bugs I’ve had but this app is updating so quickly and is one of a kind! They haven’t turned bad by charging you money for the app yay! I would be willing to pay a 3 pound fee though one time! But they haven’t used money to stop you editing, letting you only use certain features for money which annoying and many frowning apps and successful apps have this and I’m glad they do!

It would be cool if there were a Canva Pro... I one time 3 pound payment for like a slightly better version... or like 3 pound a month or something... I know they have premium but... yeah amazing keep up the good work!

Not good now

I love this app, it’s fantastic but today it updated and everything has changed. Cannot find anything, last version on iPad was fab as you could see everything on the one screen. Now it won’t turn to landscape and this just makes life difficult. Can’t see how to access my photo library.

Last version was better Canva, please reverse, this app is now virtually unusable!

Cannot drop photos in frames, can’t copy, tapping the screen does nothing most of the time, the vertical screen thing is just silly, much better when all the options were down the side, takes ages to find any features from the old style. Totally user unfriendly and a massive step back from what it was before!

I reported this to Canva days ago, no response as usual, yet you tell us to report it??? If you try to find out how the hell to operate this, it shows you the last version (we know how to use that, it was fab!) show us how to use this stupid one or better still get rid of it! What’s the point in making something everyone clearly loved and found so easy to use, a hundred times worse and so bad everyone will find something better.

Disappointed in the response from you on this one Canva!

iPad users once again have to deal with ridiculous changes to accommodate laptop and iPhone users.

New update! Not happy

I’m really disappointed with the new update... the app has changed layout and how you now make your designs. I use this app every single day for my small business and now I can’t seem to do some of the basic things I would have before. I usually add my own photos onto a design and now each time I do that it thinks I want it as my background? It was really simple before to use this app now I think it’s more difficult. ‘If it’s not broken don’t fix it’ comes into mind. I really loved this app before the change now I’m considering finding another as I can’t do everything I need. I go to the website for help but it gives tips for the old layout. So disappointed.

Great app...HOWEVER

I would love to give Canva 5 stars, however it can be highly frustrating. Especially when you have created items and paid for content. Overall it is a fantastic app with some great features and it is really easy to use. However, over the past few months there has been an issue with saving items and the preview of the saved item does not appear to be the same as the actual saved design.

At first I was told to delete and re-install the app (on several occasions), of which 1) is annoying and inconvenienf and 2) the engineers just need to fix the bugs within the app!

The help and support team are great when they are able to respond, but i reported an issue regard the app (which incurred a cost) 5 days ago and still waiting...once they fix the bug issues and get things right it will be well worth 5 stars!
