Description
Do you know how the Mexican flag looks like? Do you remember the order of colors on the Irish flag? This free education app will refresh your memory of national flags and you'll learn beautiful flags of such exotic countries as Sri Lanka or Dominica.
Why do I prefer this app to many other apps about flags?
Because it has all flags of all 197 independent countries of the World and 54 dependent territories and constituent countries! It is extremely user-friendly. You will always get a hint whether you're right or wrong. Thus, you'll never get stuck by the question for which you don't know the answer.
The flags are divided into three levels:
1) Well-known flags (Level 1) - Canada, France, Japan, and so on.
2) Flags that are harder to identify (Level 2) - Fiji, Haiti, Armenia, and other world countries.
3) Dependent territories and constituent countries (Level 3) - Scotland, Hong Kong, US Virgin Islands, etc.
4) The fourth option is to play with “All 251 Flags”.
5) Capitals: for the given flag, guess the capital of the corresponding country: for example, if the flag of Egypt is shown, the correct answer is Cairo.
6) Maps and Flags: pick the correct flag for the country highlighted on the world map.
Start with two learning options:
* Flashcards - browse all flags in the app without guessing; you can check what flags you don’t know well and want to repeat in the future.
* Table of all countries, capitals, and flags.
Then you can test your knowledge by choosing the game mode you like:
* Spelling quizzes (the easy one with hints after each selected letter, and the hard where you have to spell the whole word correctly).
* Multiple-choice questions (with 4 or 6 answer options) - can you find the state flag of your country?
* Time game (give as many correct answers as you can in 1 minute).
You should answer all questions in each level and give 25 correct answers in Time Game to get all stars and complete the game.
The app is translated into 23 languages, including English, German, Spanish and many others. So you can learn the names of the countries and capital cities in any foreign language.

Best game of this category has most flags
Really complete with all territories and even some islands specifed separately (Ascension, Tristan, Saba)
One territory is missing: Saint Barthélemy 🇧🇱
And some of the names are outdated:

This app is a little laggy but it’s much fun and it educates me a lot I hate learning flags but this is a fun way to learn them because they keep showing up time to time now i was trying to make this formal but if I didn’t I’m sorry it’s just I’m only 9 so yah.

Fantastic and lots of options
My 6 year old autistic son discovered flags of the world last month. He is nuts about this app and it’s scary how well he has memorised the flags and placement of almost every country. He has even leant to spell the names! Typical autistic obsession but it’s hard to to be impressed when your 6 year old knows 80% more than you about flags.

Great way to learn, despite some inaccuracies
I have learned country flags quickly using this app. I prefer it to other similar apps that have "lives"; with this app I'm not limited in how long I can learn each day.
I have discovered some information could use updating, such as the capital of Burundi.
I'd love to see an update including provincial/state flags.

Suggestion of improvement
Hi,
I have purchased this app to improve my general knowledge.
Unfortunately I find that the app is not completely helpful/educational as it doesn’t reveal the name of the country when you play the map or flag quiz.

Fascinating
I really enjoy this app, I like to keep my brain active, I’ve been looking up some of the countries on the world map and reading there history’s. The one downfall are the adverts, is there anyway I can switch them off? It would have been 5 stars otherwise. Regards Mary(pensioner)

Fun game but some of the facts are wrong. Eg: the capital of Burundi is Gitega and not Bujumbura, South Africa has three capital cities but only one was listed

The Flashcards are backwards? They give you the name of the country and not the flag? Instead of showing the flag and seeing if you can remember which country the flag belongs to?

& 1 Set Of Isles!
Great game, clear images, no ads and doesn't ask for money (first game anyhow) HOWEVER I was looking forward to seeing my ENGLAND flag and it wasn't there, nor was Wales nor Scotland, INSTEAD there was the Union Jack / Union Flag which is for a set of Isles. ENGLAND and the the rest are COUNTRIES, when are people going to learn?!
