This review relates only to the app. DHgate’s customer service would receive zero stars if that were possible.
The technical condition of the DHgate app raises serious concerns. It appears poorly maintained, with broken features, confusing navigation, and persistent bugs throughout the interface. Notifications and messaging systems generate repeated spam-like alerts that cannot easily be disabled, while parts of the user interface behave inconsistently or simply fail to function.
Overall the app feels unstable and unreliable, which is particularly worrying when financial transactions are involved.
Combined with extremely poor customer support, this creates a frustrating and risky experience for users. If something goes wrong, do not expect meaningful assistance, you may end up needing to contact your bank or payment provider to recover your money.

Severe lack of buyer protection and support
Avoid at all costs. My first and last time using DHgate. Customer support and dispute handling are inadequate. I received an item that was not as described and DHgate told me to return it for a refund. The seller provided a conflicting return address (Texas and China), so it is impossible to ship it back.
I opened multiple support tickets but the issue was never resolved and my dispute window is close to expiring. I tried to follow the process but the platform did not provide a workable solution.

I have used this app for years and always been satisfied with the service and quality of items I have bought i order a lot of things from china so takes about 2-3 weeks to come all I would say is if offing clothes from china order 2 sizes above what you are for uk so if a large T-shirt in uk size order a XXL from china size I use this app for all of my clothes and trainers now champagne lifestyle at lemonade prices haha

Everything seems ok question answered quickly and always got back on time to try and rectify anything I was dubious about they are of top quality jackets all logos were in the right places and very clear the zips poppers and drawstring all stamped correctly. The jacket actually looked and felt Bennett that my friend. And he paid £1400 for his from Selfridges. Mine was £100. Don’t buy the first jacket you see. Ask the seller to send you actual pictures of jacket. He should be more than willing. And don’t buy the cheapest one you find. As it might not be what you’re expecting. Site has nice things on it but there is so much false advertisement. They claim items arrive in a week or two. I’ve placed order 30 days ago that are still yet to arrive. Some of the tracking details doesn’t work. And it’s impossible to open a dispute because the option is only has your item arrived yes or no? Then when you go to click yes it says that by clicking yes you confirm that it’s arrive and you’re satisfied with your goods. So you can’t confirm delivery if you’re unhappy with the item. I’ve asked for a partial refund on an item I was false advertised on and they just make excuses. I can’t speak for all the sellers but my first use of the site I ordered 27 items and all have been unhelpful or false advertisement. My final conclusion try another site

I ordered some items for the first time weeks ago from the seller redstar2026.
Right away I was told the items were on “presale” and told me to wait a few days. I did this and still nothing. I messaged and was ignored. I then waited again and finally requested a refund/cancel the order. I then got threatening messages from him telling me to change my reason to “no longer required” as he now had the items in stock. This was lies. He then proceeded to claim he had processed my order and despite no tracking info, DHgate have sided with him. He then gave me more abuse then blocked me for a few days and has since unblocked me again and stated that since I’ve not changed my reason for cancelling, he will be unreasonable. Claiming he needs to process my order but since I “ignored his demands”, he would do the same. Again, no items (which I don’t want now anyway) and nothing is being done. Do not buy from this place. First and last experience of bad “sellers”. Thankfully I used a payment protection company to make the payment which means I haven’t been charged for the items or DHgate would be ignoring the fact I’m out of pocket. Avoid this company and the redstar2026 bully!

Fantastic find
A friend told me about this site. I was a little dubious to buy anything from here but my son really wanted some of the items so we took the risk at Christmas and it paid off. I am extremely happy with the quality of all items that I’ve bought Except for one this hasn’t put me off buying from this site at all as I hope this will be sorted Soon. All I can say is read all reviews but I really couldn’t fault all other items as a quality of clothing was fantastic His coat is absolutely insane. Logo is perfect and it’s very thick. If you haven’t bought from this site already start buying and save your money.

I bought some shoes for £300 around , there were 4 pairs. Only one of them arrived in good condition. One pair was damaged and not what they claimed to sell, one was with torn bows on one of the shoe and the last pair was pure scammers. They pretended that they’ve sent me the purchase, the parcel was lost they claimed, then they said it was delivered to the address and sent me a link to find where exactly the parcel was delivered, but to check you have to register your bank card for £1 only and you don’t realise that by this way you have subscribed to pay them £25 each month by direct debit . God bless I read this tiny shrift thoroughly.
I subscribed, paid £1, of course the link was fake and no parcel was found . Straight away I unsubscribed , but to an subscribe I had to find it by google as it wasn’t straight forward .
My 5 emails to DHgate support team were not answered.
With the damaged pair of shoes DHgate said they will refund me partially, two month has gone no refund received.
I have deleted the app and never ever will use it again , it no worthy at all.

I’ve made a few purchases on here, kids football kits are great for kids-decent replicas and last a season for training.

I had one pair of shorts that came unstitched the first time I wore them, the seller offered to send another pair with my next order-I cut my losses becauss seer the quality of his stuff was rubbish so I didn’t want to order again! Another kit that I ordered 3 sizes bigger than I normally would was still too small and it was impossible to return, I tried one more time to order a different shirt, which was outof stock in my size , the seller sent me a message offering an alternative that I didn’t want, I asked him to cancel the order and he’s posted it anyway! I bet I can’t return that either!
Individual sellers are responsible for returns and solving issues with no oversight from the website which means they can get away with anything! Sadly that means you can’t trust any of the sellers. A shame because there’s some good stuff and some bargains to be had!
I’m £150 down now so I’m going to give up!

Highly recommend DH Gate instead of other apps like Temu, Ali Express or Wish
It isn’t just terrible quality pieces of plastic like on Temu and Ali express but you can purchase high quality items whether it’s jewellery, watches, clothing or shoes DH Gate has it all, you just have to use apps like Reddit to find good sellers and items. Without using Reddit and other apps to find good items, it may be more difficult to find good quality items or trustworthy sellers. The only issue with the app is the shipping address is unlike most apps and the shipping does take some weeks with some items taking some time to arrive especially in Europe and in North America. Anyways, get DH Gate it’s better than any of their competitors by far.

No refunds for faulty or incorrect items
I am never using this app again, some sellers are scammers and DH Gate are useless at helping out, the refunds guarantees shown in the app are nonsense. I have bought items on this app 5 times now, 3 of the purchases went smoothly and 2 of them went badly. The first problem I had was a football shirt I ordered came and the number on the back was wonky. Seller tried to fob me off but then agreed to refund item price and return postage, I sent the item back via Royal Mail costing me another £7 and the seller never confirmed receipt of the item so DH Gate closed the claim and released the money to the seller leaving me £30 out of pocket. The second time I ordered an item and I got sent a different item which was actually someone else’s order as shown by one of the shipping labels. The seller refused to accept responsibility so I escalated the dispute to DH Gate, I provided all evidence (photos/videos) requested but still DH Gate did nothing and released the purchase funds to the seller so now I’m a total of £50 out of pocket from this horrible marketplace app. Take my advise, it isn’t worth it, it’s a gamble on if you’ll get what you pay for.

However, there are a couple of areas where DHgate could improve. First, some of the shipping costs can be quite high, to the point of being almost extortionate. It would be great if DHgate could work on standardising or reducing these costs to make shopping even more affordable.

I ordered an indoor door mat and it did take a while to get her nothing too bad about a week and half. Wasn’t sure on sizing for the doormat so went off other people’s reviews. I managed to pick the perfect sizing and upon opening was very pleasantly surprised when it was beautiful. Exactly like in the photos and description on the app. Was a bit nervous ordering for the first time but my brother recommended as he has purchased with them and given my daughter some of their products and they’ve been really good. Would recommend based on my experience. Will be ordering with them again. My wish list is full 😂🙈

Avoid using, full of scammer sellers & customer service is awful
I have had some really good sellers
On DHGate in the past but now and then h oh will hit a scammer.
I have recently ordered some trainers, a few days later the seller niyue99 contacted me asking for another £15 as the quality of the product had improved. When I refused and asked for my money back things started to go downhill. The seller didn’t refund my money and even put a fake tracking number on the item listing and told me that the item had been delivered when it hadn’t.
I’ve spoken to DHGate customer service 3 times online chat facility and they’re making me go around in circles too now, one told me he was processing my refund, after a while if no sight of my money I contacted them again to be told there was a fault on the system that’s why the refund hasn’t been processed.
Now they’ve opened a dispute with the seller and told me the seller has 6 days to respond (even though DHGate have identified thatthe tracking number was fake)
On checking the dispute they’ve given the seller 10 days to respond now.
Customer service just cut me off, if you do buy from DHGate I just hope you get a good seller as there are some very good ones on there but it can be hit and miss

Top quality app & football shirts
Used this app to buy Football shirts, and they really are great. It’s easy to navigate and has everything listed clearly. Just a note to anyone else looking to buy football shirts or similar sports goods, buy a size up and they are hand wash only. Delivery does take a while, but I’m in the UK and most products come from China; and they have come faster than advertised every time I have bought. Lots of coupons available alongside a top class loyalty program from DHgate themselves.
Definitely recommend the app given the price difference in shirts from here and the official stores is £60+, and in my experience they’ve always been top quality.

Iv found if you do your research - check reviews-ask seller questions-ask for pictures of items before purchasing- you will come across some great sellers with 1.1 replica items. I have also had many of items that are really bad (when I just pressed buy without looking the seller up) so take your time ask questions,find the top sellers even if it cost a little bit more ✌🏼. I also always pay for boxes with items! They just look better and are also protected more for transport ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
One thing I can fault is customer service there is no way of sending anything back if your not happy so be sure you find the best (most sold items) best customer reviews 🙌

Great app
Easy to use once you get used to it , when you find the right sellers just save as favourite then you’ll only have to go to account to find them , very good on updating you all the way the through a purchase and also the products available are superb and prices are excellent, i tend to go with with sellers who have been tried and tested with lots of reviews and years of supplying only thing I can possibly say is a downfall is that the shipping can be very expensive and you have to really careful with sizing as some sellers do normal uk / usa sizing then some do just European so something to be aware of other than that it’s brilliant

Great, buuuuuttt…..
Ordered some Nottingham Forest shirts for myself and my two boys. Mine arrived in less than three weeks. The boys? One supplier contacted me via WhatsApp (how?!) to say they weren’t in stock and I needed to cancel. I cancelled the order only for the seller to contact me again to say they actually were in stock- I refused as I felt I was being messed around/scammed. Tried another supplier who had them in stock until it came to several days later when they were processing the order and suddenly/mysteriously didn’t have any. Refunded again. If you want one for yourself- perfect, but ordering for a child is a nightmare. It’s never in stock and if any suppliers have them the shirt doesn’t have the official club logo on, making it a pointless purchase. Use this website with caution!

At first i was VERY sceptical but then once i bought my pair of military black J4’s, I’m completely inlove, the delivery took just 2 weeks and with jo problems, the box came damaged however that doesn’t matter… we dont wear the bloody boxes🤣but as i was saying, the quality is amazing and the prices are just as good, i will forever get my shoes from here starting today🤭, and if you feel as though im a bot, my names raheim and im studying spanish sociology and sports in college. Brilliant app with even better products
The only issues I have with the app are 1 when you are placing an order it’s not straight forward adding the item to your basket, it doesn’t give the option to add to basket, just says buy now so when you have selected your options you don’t know if it’s been added to your cart without going to it to check which lengthens the process when ordering the same item in 2 sizes or colours! And 2 it would be helpful if the colours of the items was added to the pics as well as when you select the option you want to order so you know it’s the same as what you have viewed, it’s hard to see between some colours such as white and cream or cream and light brown/beige on a phone

Brilliant App
I’m loving DH Gate and I will never pay full price again for designer items. My daughter introduced me to it and every item I have ordered has been absolutely amazing and identical to the real thing. The only issue is delivery time which varies from seller to seller and it has to come through customs which takes time too. All sellers have been great with delivering on time, it easy to track on the app and on Royal Mail too. The app is superb I do like to see pictures of items purchased I won’t order from a seller unless I can see pictures. It’s easy & quick to order. They don’t do PayPal but do credit & debit cards for payment. You won’t regret purchasing from DH Gate

Resolution on fake items and deceiving sellers.
They is less accountability on sellers who deceive customers, even in clear situations. I know what kind of quality I’m buying on Dhgate they is no dispute on that, but some seller just do as they please and feel knowing there is less consequences. The buyer suffers in the process. They forget buying online is the only thing we mostly nowadays and we have grown and become experts in understand quality through a mobile, laptop or tablet screens. You analyse every detail and they turn around and make look like a fool, when you claim that is not the item in the picture or on the seller’s platform.
Can’t claim all sellers are bad, I will be lying. Most sellers are true to standard. Do the best to please the customer. That’s why I keep buying from Dhgate. But here and there you find a few swindlers

SCAM DO NOT PURCHASE
If I could rate this 0 stars I would. The customer service is horrendous. I’ve bought a jacket it took forever to arrive, when it did everything was incorrect, starting from the sizing, the material and was even missing a hood that was mention in the description. I contact customer support and they said I has to return it and that was the only solution. I returned it the starting of September and it got delivered in November, I had proof of shipping but they decided to close the case. I spent overall £80 on sending it back and the cost of the coat. The coat was delivered, and the seller blocked me. Customer service just told me to wait 2 business days then they’ll unblocked the messages and told me ask them for the refund. I waited two business days I asked them then they blocked me again, I was told they can’t do anything about it just wait another two days. It’s been 3 weeks since the seller has received their item and I haven’t had a refund yet because they’ve blocked me. So disappointed

Poor Customer Service (Zt-sports-88)
I ordered a football kit for my son and was sent the wrong one. I understand mistakes like this can happen so I messaged to inform them of the mistake and was assured by the seller that the correct kit would get sent out. This was in July. Now in November after requesting a couple updates on the order between then and now, they are refusing to send the correct kit unless I buy more products from them. When a mistake is made the customer should not be told they have to spend more money in order to have the mistake corrected. They have also refused a refund. So I have paid for an order that I have never received even after being told I would and then I’m being told I need to spend more money to get the order I have already paid for. The seller I have spoken to is also extremely rude and clearly has no customer service skills what so ever. I have had this mistake made by a seller on here before but they honoured their word and corrected it. At-sports-88 however have not. I definitely won’t be using DH Gate again.

Used a few times now from different Sellers
My friend told me about this site and at first I was a bit dubious of the savings I could make. However decided to bite the bullet and downloaded the app. After a little bit of practice found it easy to use.
Have now bought from different seller's and everything has been good. All the items have arrived, quality exceptional and definitely would recommend to anyone. The only negative I would mention is sometime the delivery time is upto two months but if your not desperate, worth the wait. The sellers can be easily contacted through the app and I found them very helpful.

Faster than thur competitors
I have only had positive experiences with DHGATE. The delivery each time is soooo fast, it’s unbelievable. 10 days to UK. I guess the sellers I choose are very reliable. Always go for sellers with lots of reviews. It shows they are actively selling. Also, be patient and communicate with seller so they show you pictures of what you are actually buying. A seller who takes time to communicate values their business as well as yours. One thing I bear in mind is shopping online regardless of the country is risky. The potential for things to go missing is great. Shopping through platforms such as this is not for the faint hearted.

I was a bit sceptical about ordering from DHGate after reading some reviews, but I found the transaction perfectly fine! I believe they are getting bad reviews because of it’s 3rd party sellers, just do your research before placing an order from a seller (view their page, view there positive feedback %, view how many items they’ve sold) make sure you pay through DHgate and not direct to the seller as DHGate are then protecting your money and they don’t release payment to the seller until you confirm you’ve received your products. It’s like ordering from eBay. DHGate are great at communicating and keeping you up to date on your order!

Outfit for my daughters wedding
I have been left so upset , I have been waiting since January 7th nearly going to be 2 months for my outfit for my daughters wedding I called DHgate and I was assured that my dress would arrive before 26th feb with an apology I accepted this and gave the Benifit off doubt and said I would rather have my outfit than my money but today I was told to basically I won’t receive my outfit and if I wish to raise a dispute I didn’t want to raise another but I have . My daughters wedding is not far off now I’m left to look for an outfit again this has been so stressful and upsetting I certainly wouldn’t recommend anyone from the uk to order from DHgate I have been lied to and it’s very upsetting I don’t normally give reviews I just don’t want what happened to me to happen to anyone else . Great App
I don’t usually write reviews but felt that I took a risk ordering and it paid off, so thought I’d share. I made my first order for something cheap just incase I never received it, but I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with the quality of the product I ordered (football kit for my son with personal printing). I’ve since placed orders for a few others things and I have not been disappointed at all! The delivery time takes a while but I appreciate its coming from across the globe lol! It’s not going to be over night.. I’ve always paid on my credit card, just for that added protection. But if you’re in doubt, I fully recommend you go for it, as I have had a great experience!

“Does what it says on the tin”
If you’re looking for authentic designer items you’re in the went place. However, if you’re happy with either very, very, very high quality knock offs or the genuine thing but with minute imperfections then this is the app for you.
I bought a pair of Yeezy’s from there, RRP is about £220ish.. I got them for £36 including delivery. Madness! I cannot tell the difference between them and a so called ‘genuine’ pair. Which is what makes me think they are real, but with slight imperfections (the odd stray thread or pluck here and there).
I’ve purchased countless football jerseys from there too. Everyone has come with what look like 100% genuine tags/labels. And have been £90+ cheaper than what you’d pay from the football club direct.
Delivery can take a while. This may be due to the distance packages have to travel plus covid thrown in on top! I’ve waited 2 weeks or 7 weeks for items. But all have arrived eventually!
I will say, look for sellers who have a high number of good ratings. Also, look at the last date the review was left and sometimes these are 12 months previous which is never a good sign.
Overall, the APP is brilliant.. IF you’re smart about who/where you’re buying from.

APP BUG
I love the app, but there’s a little issue with the app.
1st - it is impossible to contact the costumer service via the IOS app!
2nd - I found some stores which the seller are trying to deceive the buyers! They put a really lower price and in the messages section ask for payments via PayPal to be free from DHGATE policy. Saying cuz it happened to me. I still have the item in my orders but there’s no refund and the seller stop to answer me when I said “it goes against DHGATE policy”.
3rd - it is impossible to report shops like it is mentioned above!
4th - during negotiations when the seller made a mistake, after finishing a negotiation in a “positive” way, the sellers do everything to make the buyer give up their newest “agreed” order! A big exemple it is me now. The seller don’t answer me and it has been almost a month that I place my order and the seller don’t process my order, also deleted the idem from DHGATE, and for sure will try to make a refund cuz he had to give me a discount for his mistake.
The app is amazing and the items are also amazing, but we should have more control when it comes to this situations. Specially when we are the kind of costumers who buy quietly frequently! So I really hope you guys fix this, we give your company credibility, so give us some control and quality costumer service.

Cannot fault it
I must say that I am absolutely loving this App. I struggle to get the pictures from the reviewed purchased items , only accessing the written reviews which is okay, It just means I have been blind buying (if that even makes any sense). I have still been delighted with what I have ordered and received. The App is perfect, allowing you to take charge of how to use it in selecting single purchase or bulk, wholesale price or retail and this is important to me. The shipping time, I had been advised by my daughter might be the only hiccup stated it can take up to six weeks however I must say I have received the items is speedy time, (2 weeks so far) so I am giving the app a HUGE thumbs up.

I’ve ordered a few things from here, and I’m very pleased with the items I’ve received. My only concern is the time it takes for orders to be processed and then delivered.... seems to be anything from 4 weeks to 8 weeks... As long as you get the sizes right and be guided by the measurement guides. I was sent the wrong size by mistake once told I had to send in a photo of proof before they would refund me, but I know the Law (I’m a lawyer) and know I don’t have to do that, so when I quoted the ‘Distance Selling Regulations Act’ to them my refund appeared in two days! Therefore don’t let them tell you you need to pay to return the item when they’ve made a mistake... you don’t! Even if you want to return something (as it’s your right to do so) then still quote the above Law if they tell you you can’t. I don’t bother returning things where I’ve ordered a wrong size or I don’t like, instead I give them away as gifts as it saves hassle.
Yea the customer service is shocking, but just take care over what you’re ordering and sizes and you’ll be fine!
I don’t mind waiting a month for delivery at all, as I love the things I’ve had so far, two months and I start getting anxious.... but all have arrived so far.
I am generally very pleased (several orders over two years) and only shop from here and Sara now (via my phone app) and I won’t shop anywhere else!
Everyone comments on things I have bought, thinking they are Authentic, as they are exactly the same as ‘real’, esp the V trainers and R watches I’ve had!

I wasRecommended this site by a friend of mine, on first look at this site I was excited to find two wonderful Christmas presents for my partner, I placed an order for two amazing handbags, the money was taken out of my account, after three weeks I went back online to try and find out where my order was I received two messages saying that they had been shipped, I have now been back online only to see a new date which is March 20 21/ five months I will of had to wait for my order Christmas will have come and gone I have left three messages for this site to contact me and I am still waiting, it leaves me with no option but to contact my credit card company and let them know that this is a scam they’ve taken my money but not delivered the goods as stated the lack of response from this site is very frustrating I will keep you updated.

AVOID! They do NOT protect you from scammers!
I had made 2 purchases with DHgate before my bad experience with no issues whatsoever. The quality was good and the seller was genuine. However, I recently purchased 2 bags for £60 (after reading good reviews, which I have been warned could have all been fake!) which have never arrived. At first the ‘seller’ although better suited to the name ‘scammer’ sent me a fake tracking number which didn’t show up, within the DHgate dispute process one of the options was if you were provided with an incorrect tracking number. After several days of trying to contact the ‘seller’ I opened a dispute, within hours they sent me a message asking why I’d opened a dispute so quickly and that they’d updated the tracking number. So I sat tight and waited for my package. However what arrived instead was a pair of cheap sunglasses, on the package it said the same tracking number they provided me with as well as the words ‘2 bags’. Unfortunately once you’ve sent your dispute there is no way to update it, the scammer by this point had updated it with a tracking number, but these was for the scam package. So I contacted DHgate through online chat who took all the information then asked me to send an email to someone else?! Which I did, and I’m still waiting for a reply even though I expressed urgency both on the chat and the email ... Since then I have been in touch with the ‘scammer’ who carries on lying saying that they don’t sell glasses and it’s not them?! Today, the payment to them was released because of course the item is showing as delivered. DHgate pride themselves on saying that you’re safe, they’ll listen to your case, and bring those scammers down! However they don’t, they have left me to be scammed! In future I recommend avoiding DHgate and using other similar sites such as Vova -although they can equally be as bad for refunds you are protected by PayPal. Having to get a refund through my bank now.

I have recently ordered several items worth over £120 I am waiting to see if they arrive?? I have however been contacted via WhatsApp by a Chinese man telling me he saw my order and wanted to sell me better quality products!! (Alarm bells ring in my ears) How the hell did he get my telephone number?? If he got my number it makes me worry that he can also have access to my credit card details! Not just mine but other peoples also!! A serious breach of confidentiality with my information!! He spent 2 days pestering me, trying to get me to buy his products!! I have kept all of his messages as proof however I am not sure what good it will do as I have tried numerous times to contact customer support regarding this matter but I keep going up in the queue to speak to someone! and still cannot get to speak to customer support!! I will not be ordering anymore items for this reason! Shame because my mum has ordered and received all her items and is happy with all of her purchases! This is worst company ever! Do not buy anything through them... This place is full of cheaters, scammers, and liars. DHGate do not provide any support to you as a customer. When things get complicated they start speaking in Chinese to you. I was scammed almost €500 for a product I bought through this website. The product was faulty and the seller did everything possible to not replace it even when it was under the guarantee period. DHGate was everything but helpful. I wasn’t even able to give a negative review about the company. DHGate closed the case and didn’t allow me to post any comments about it. The seller company does not exist and even after I’ve warn to DHGate about this, they’ve done nothing to remove the ads or help me in any way. I’ve sent a guarantee recall letter to the company and the National Post confirmed that there isn’t any factory at that address.m. Avoid this site at any cost!

Fakes a plenty!
It’s certainly cheaper than flying to Shanghai and buying a lot of fake goods. The quality is also very good. Obviously there will be problems with some sellers but I find if you stick with the better known ones it’s usually very good. It’s cheaper than some of the other sites but you have to be lucky. I’ve bought several things that turned up very bad fakes and the good thing is that you don’t release the money to the seller until you receive the goods. DHgate have a very good problem resolver team and usually they take 2-3 days to get a resolution. All in all there’s good and bad fakers and cheats and good guys take a chance it’s worth it.

Make sure you read reviews and always look at reviews with pictures from customers as sometimes the reviews can be fake! It’s easy to distinguish fake reviews as they all seem the same and the language can be written in a way that you can clearly see it’s not someone from say the UK with bad spelling!!
I’ve bought some great stuff on this site and to be honest you would think it’s the real deal but I would avoid buying footwear as it’s all in different sizes! Even if you choose European sizes it still seems to come in two to three sizes smaller!
Great for handbags, purses, belts, scarf’s etc but still look at reviews before you buy!

Brilliant App had no issues at all
Some people writing these reviews really don’t know how to use this site to its actual potential - browse for items with picture reviews! It is not a quick process sometimes takes hours to find high quality products.
There are quite a lot of products on here that I would avoid but if you do have a thorough look for the items you want, you will find them at a cheap price and of high quality.
I have ordered around 10 things from Dhgate and I have had no problems at all and all of the items I have ordered have been at a reasonable price and of high quality. I have no complaints at all 😁

First time buyer
This was my first time purchasing off a site like this, as never had the need to buy in bulk before. On the whole very easy. Was a bit of confusion with coupons and the online help didn’t understand what I was saying...which was how do you add them to your cart. So, I gave up trying to add, went to checkout and they had suddenly appeared. So, whether I had done it with trying different things or the online service had, I don’t know, but least I got the money off lol. So, my next test is to see 1. How long they take to arrive and 2. The quality of the goods. Have emailed one seller, who responded quickly and emailed certificates to me so, I can only say good so far. Lost one star, just because there is no explanation anywhere about adding the coupons even when you go to that page if no number is showing...as was my case. I will update as and when goods arrive and been inspected. My fingers are 🤞

Non existent customer after care
If you don’t own or have access to a computer then your basically buggered if anything goes wrong because there is no person you can talk to and the refund form doesn’t give many options to explain ie I did not receive 2 pairs of trainers I ordered however the tracking stated delivered and when I spoke to Royal Mail they stated yes the tracking number was theres however the time it stated it was delivered is not possible as no post person delivers at that time of night. Royal Mail said the tracking had been tampered with and they did not have it registered on there system as being received and to tell the seller to contact them for dispute as I cannot be helped as buyer from them.
DHgate closed the case without contacting me and released my money to the seller so I am out of pocket for money and have 2 kids who have no footwear other than school shoes as they have to wait till my next pay day to get them new ones.
And also I placed an order on 19th January it’s now 20th February and the seller still hasn’t dispatched but if I want to cancel I only have a choice to do so on a computer which I do not have access to so I have no choice but to wait and wait and wait then if the seller doesn’t dispatch then I will get refund. Make sure you look for great reviews and photos on anything you buy for a better chance of satisfaction as DHgate don’t care about you loosing money so your trust must be with the seller and you must be prepared to take the chance of money loss.

This website is fantastic providing you use it wisely and you adjust your expectations accordingly. The site is selling high end products at reduced prices so you need to understand that compromises will be made somewhere. That said I have used the site extensively and I’m very happy with the products I have received.
Some tips:
Stick to reputable sellers with good feedback (a high number of transactions and high percentage of positive feedback in these transactions).
Find sellers that have photographs of their products in the review sections so that you can see what you are getting.
When searching for products use different searching methods (e.g search for small crocodile to find lacrosse goods etc)
Always be careful of the sizes. Goods are predominantly sold in Asian sizes so will be much smaller for an American or eu market. Most sellers display their size charts but they are not exact.
If something turns up the wrong size then raise it as a dispute before clicking to say that the products have arrived. Most reputable sellers will take steps to rectify this for you and are very helpful.
Be careful about ordering footwear. It may look good in a photo or real life but they often have the wrong height in the heel or are too tight/not enough flex. Maybe wear as a one off but they will wreck your feet if you wear some of the items long term.

Won’t use again.
I’d bought before from the website all was ok. A few weeks ago however I was scammed. I couldn’t contact the seller as after purchase “seller doesn’t exist”
I received a tracking number....which eventually showed up as ‘delivered’. It wasn’t delivered to me but to an address 100 miles away with another recipients name on (Royal Mail couldn’t disclose any more to me) given the size of the item Royal Mail wouldn’t have delivered the item anyway it would have been parcel force. So an ‘item’ not a guitar was delivered to a bogus address.
The money was released as well ! When it states it’s not until you’re satisfied with your purchase.
Customer service on the app is non existent but for an automated chat (no actual person) unless you have access to a computer forget it. I hit brick walls every time. When I said I hadn’t revived the item the message was ‘it’s still within sellers estimated time for delivery’ yet it had already been delivered.
Be very very cautious and do your purchases with a credit card ! Barclycard did get my money back.

So far, my experience with DHgate has been incredible. Their items are fairly priced and mostly a good quality. A tip is, before you purchase something, analyse the customer reviews properly (I personally prefer to see the reviews with photos so I have a better understanding of what I want to purchase and if it’s worth it). So far, anything I order comes within two weeks to the UK. My only PROBLEM is that I wish they could put in wish lists and we could customise them (e.g. shoes, accessories, clothes etc). I’m hoping they will take this suggestion, then my experience will be the best!!! I love this app, you just need to be careful of what you purchase, then you’ll love it too!

Don’t Bother
Word of advice - don’t bother!, their customer service is poor, they employ people who do not understand what you are saying an do not help. As a buyer, you contact them with a problem with a seller and they do not want to know. Dhgate have the worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure to waste my time dealing with. So much of my hours wasted on their live chat speaking to mindless idiots who just repeat themselves over and over an do nothing to help you resolve the issue.
You buy an item in good faith, as the seller says that they have it in stock, then you pay for it an within hours the seller messages you to say that the item is not in stock and that you have to wait 3 months for it!, so obviously you are not happy with this an request a refund on this basis, contact the seller, he refuses, contact customer services, they don’t give a monkeys, they instead protect the seller - ridiculous.
I am done with these amateurs.

Still haven’t received my goods
I have to be honest my daughters bought a couple of things off here and there absolutely brilliant so I thought I would have a try I was getting a little worried in the beginning because some of the items can take a very long time I have received two of my items but I have not received the other two but all in all I have to say I specially one of them was extremely good quality and the other one is good quality definitely for the money I can’t say I’m disappointed because I’m not I’m actually quite surprised
Also I noticed of genetic make up of this app is very reminiscent of Ali express and they are Absolutely awful really getting worried now and the sad thing is there is nobody that I can message to ask them what is going on only the sellers so I think the app could definitely do with having a chat room or at least somebody you could call or text or email and get a response within 24 hours

Excellent application with minor defects
The application is great, well organized howether I would add more features in the filter such as seeing items that people have reviewed and left pictures on as the reviews and pictures for me are a dealbreaker and allows me to make an informed decision, however without the implementation of these filters it takes me a very long time to find the right seller with good reviews and high quality items. Most sellers are excellent as they offer quick replies to any queries and ensure you get your product, however some sellers completely neglect their customers queries which isn’t fair especially after ordering an item and not being able to ask if it’s been shipped or ask about the item before hand such as sizing as sizing for clothing is usually Asian size which is FAR smaller to western/ European sizing so buyers need to be made aware of the size differences before ordering the item so they can select the right size for them. Great app/company
Some great deals on this app, you have to wait a few weeks for the items to arrive but the wait is worth the saving! The only issue I have is if your looking for counterfeit goods such as handbags or trainers, you need to know what your looking for as they aren’t advertised as the branding they display. Other than that read reviews and how many items the seller has sold before just purchasing as they could have poor quality items and the money you save isn’t worth it but I have ordered many items from trainers to electronics off there and all are good quality items and would recommend to friends and family.

Patience is a virtue
I have never had a bad experience with DHgate & hopefully never will. Items are excellently priced, just have a bit of digging tho as usually multiple sellers selling same thing with different prices. I always go for good reviews & I'm more likely to pay a little more for a seller with good reviews than the cheapest with bad or no reviews.
Bear in mind your items are more than likely coming from China so don’t expect overnight delivery. That’s the only small criticism I could make. My items have always arrived within time but I buy with the knowledge I know I’m going to wait a few weeks for my delivery. For me that is not a problem, for others it may be.
To sum up a great site with great items & fantastic prices. If you do buy something, just chill out re delivery times.

I have nothing but LOVE for dhgate!!
I don't think there is much that you couldn't find on dhgate! Everything I have ordered has been as advertised and arrived n good condition. If in doubt check the product reviews but quality has been brilliant on everything I have bought and communication from sellers and system alike has been spot on. It can take a bit of time for orders to arrive with standard shipping, but the items are coming from the other side of the world so no wonder really! If you need your items in a quicker time frame you can always use the express options offered by some sellers, but I just battle my impatience and the goods are worth the wait. I would definitely recommend this market place and do to friends and family!

This is most certainly a great gateway to great items full of great sellers. HOWEVER, there ARE a lot of scammers, read this review carefully...
If something seems too good to be true price wise it normally is, however, if you happen to fall victim to a scam make sure you contact dhGate’s customer support team via Live chat, always screenshot evidence and never confirm item received if you have not received your item and/or have any other issues. Whenever I have had an issue they have always put me first as a customer and each and every time resolved issues/disputes in my favour. They go above and beyond to ensure their customers receive a top shopping experience. Thank you dhGate 🙂
