Rally game
Bought this game £5.00 it’s really crap don’t buy it the controls of from the 80s definitely thought it would be better than this fir a fiver I’m gutted shocking deception on the makers hang your heads

Awful
Not even worth one star! There are much better options out there for the same price or less, and they don’t charge more once you’ve purchased the game. Awful graphics, nothing like the pictures in the preview. The cars handling is terrible, reverse gear doesn’t work so I hit a wall and had to abandon the game because I couldn’t reverse. I want a refund!

Don’t waste your money
Gameplay decent, tracks decent, but Just as it’s getting good, 3rd race in Australia, it crashes, and you can’t go any further, waste of time and money when is brits want to race in the wales rally and can’t. Don’t bother buying, shocking. Paid for the game and can’t even play it all. Absolute joke

Quite good game play but needs more tracks and too many faults
Brilliant game play, needs more racing tracks, more freedom on upgrading your car and not just your driver.
Bit of a disappointment to tell you as soon as you get to the 3rd race in Australia it crashes and won't allow you to play on.
Come on WRC this is a paid game it should not be doing this.
Get an update to fix the issue.

Not bad- but massive bug!!
Not too bad for the price, but can't play anymore!!!
No car selection or tuning, but you get to unlock drivers.
I used button rather than told to steer, too much headache!
However biggest problem is stage 3 in Australia, crashes and I'm now stuck and can't play!!!!

Great game! ...Why the hate???
Don't know why there's so many dislikes. Colin McRae rally used to be my fave until no more updates for the 6s left the controls all over the shop but this is a great alternative. Hopefully they can keep improving it (pleeeeease) as its been a while since the last update.

Piece of crap game.
This game is just a waste of money. Uncontrolable with giroscope, the behaviour of the cars is unreal and besides that, graphics aren't that great at all.

Bad steering
Good graphics let down by near impossible steering with the sensativity turned right down still no control, so please take note and fix as soon as please,the Colin macrea rally has good steering compared to this app.

Being back Rally Master ... Now that was a good rally game. You could feel the car move as the surface changes. I want my money back .... I thought games would get better .... A complete waste of £2.99

Completely rubbish, do not buy!!
Gameplay is so poor it makes playing the game a miserable experience. Shame on WRC for commissioning such a rubbish game. Clearly the organisation cares more about cashing in on its franchise and brand, than giving its followers something actually worth paying for. If I could actually get a refund from the App Store, according to basic retail consumer rights, I would request one. Only giving it one star as I have to leave at least one for the review to post.

Absolute rubbish!
I'm annoyed to have paid £2.49 for this only to still be bombarded with IAP nonsense as if I was playing an FTP game, and even more annoyed that the game itself is total rubbish - generic cheap rally game gameplay, poor graphics and car models - the old WRC games on PS2 were just vastly superior in every respect I'm afraid. I so wanted this to be good but I'm just left annoyed I forked out £2.49 for it...
Car physics are slightly better after the last update - but they're still crap!

Completely agree with other reviewer. Paid for this and IAPs are painful to keep seeing. On top of this the game itself is really really poor. Last gen graphics. Handling so poor I had to keep checking my phone screen was working. Waste of money. Avoid.

Got potential but needs work
Game with lots of potential. Shameful season mode, quite hard to play, too easy to damage car = can't play season. Good fun in quick race because your car gets fixed. Would be great if official WRC game could deliver. So far not worth the money.

Embarrassing for the sport. Unethical.
This game has great potential, but it's been ruined by an apparent lack of effort in both gameplay and visuals.
The physics are decent for an iOS game, but the way in which the developer tries to force you into paying way too much for additional content in the game you already paid £3 for is a farce. It's clearly a tact to exploit gamers, and overall it's a horrendous representation of the WRC.
There hasn't been a good WRC game since Evolution Studios had the license, and the trend continues.

Forget the other reviews this is the best rally game on here , use the front camera view for best results , works perfect on iPad . I have been waiting for a rally game like this for a long time . No need for in app purchases just play every day and get free coins .

No colin mcrae rally
I bought this thinking it would be an up to date version of colin mcrae but its a step backwards if anything. Soon as i went off track hit a tree and ghosted straight through i just turned it off, so unrealistic.

I have changed my mind:GOOD!
Below is my first review: But I have changed my Mind. This game takes time to get used to... Here is why; it's designed to be as life like as possible, in other words, its unforgiving if your rubbish, it's for people who want a challenge, and actually it's hard to master, and takes practice, - four words- it is worth it, especially if your genuinely a racer at heart. It's a racers game and my original review is not true and I completely retract what I originally thought. I give it four stars because there's plenty of room for improvement, but please do not change the real life handling-it's really rewarding- do not change this. But it would be good to include an actual bonnet on hood view, I'd like to see the green line option go as a person progresses, and vocal co-driver direction.
Below is my original review and it couldn't be more wrong. Give the game a chance.
Sorry everyone who made this; it's terrible. Constructively, here is why - First of all the graphics are mediocre having said that, it's fine because the real problem is 1. The delayed, lifeless numb handling, it's cruddy, it destroys any chance of this game being successful. 2. The stupid green line that can't be removed in settings it's like saying (you know nothing about racing peasant) 3. You can't actually see the bonnet just the road, no no no no no, this is just a game made for racers by programmers and you need people that know about what racing games are about, you clearly do not. Couple of positives I like the stages being timed like in real life, this does give it a bit of interest. I can only think of 1 positive.

Great game
Not so much of a simulation it's more of an arcade rally game. Graphics are great and the on screen controls work well. Has a good sense of speed as your flying through the tracks. Earning points at a good rate to unlock the extra cars and tracks. For £2.49 it's a really good game.

Keep away. Dint waste your money
I was so looking forward to playing this game after playing previous versions on consoles. All I can say is what a piece of rubbish. First off the steering is pathetic and being unable to adjust sensitivity does not help. The real letdown is after paying £2.49 for the game you are then asked to pay to play further sections in the game. What a con. There are so much better free games out there you can play that beats this game. I will make sure not to buy from these developers again.

Very bad advert for the WRC
This game needs avoiding. You pay £2.49 for an unproven game by a very poor developer only to find that everything in game is locked and requires in app purchases to open up. The career mode is dire, and I've played some shocking driving games in my time. Handling is poor both by tilt or touch meaning progressing through the game to open up official teams and drivers is almost impossible. The coins you do get giving with the game very soon disappear if you use the flashbacks or need to maintain your car in career mode. Head to head racing is locked until you can manage to open that rally giving you very limited options once your credits start to run out. After a very long delay waiting for this to be released in the App Store I feel I've been totally ripped off once downloaded and opened.

Lots of potential
The best thing about making a game for iOS is that it can be updated. What we have here is a decent starting point, lots of potential. The graphics are pretty good (not real racing 3 but nothing else is that good) it's fun to play too.
The issues: firstly its a paid game that still offers in-app purchases. Which are pretty much essential as the rewards are very small. This is wrong. Why not charge £10-15 for the game and be done with it.
Secondly the steering is very light with option for adjustment.
Thirdly the overall feel of the game needs something more, what I mean by that is there are no spectators, no mud flying, and the engine note is the same for each car and it's dull, does not sound like a rally car at all. That said all of these issues could easily be corrected in time. A WRC game was long overdue for iOS so please give us some updates and it could well turn out to be a very good game.(WRC Shakedown wasn't a real rally game)

Save your money until it is improved
Very poor driving physics, controls unrealistic, no bonnet or incar cam, bad tilt screen effect that cannot be turned off. Put a wheel off the track and it resets your position, reserve tracks in the first few stages, cannot turn driving line off, and worst of all on a rally game no co-driver calling out the notes or a handbrake, seriously needs lots of improvements before you should part with any money. This should be freemium

This app is a joke, and I want my money back. Asphalt8 and Need for speed are 400% better than this. Bad graphics, and tilt to steer is VERY poor. Don't waste your money on this. Very very disappointed. It won't give me the option to give zero stars.

Poor Sim
I was really looking forward to this game but so disappointed with it after a day of playing. Awfully jerky steering and bumper cam tilts like your on a super bike. One cut hairpin corner resulted in the car doing the most awesome spin and multiple rolls in the air resulting in an award for airtime and a totally destroyed car... Come on, I don't expect console like dynamics but get it sorted.

Include Hydraulic Handbrake feature
I completed the Colin McRae iOS game and that was very similar. This game has variation. Some of the tracks needs to be less polished but very impressive once you get to gravel. There are NO spectators anywhere. These details make the experience. Also with WRC the follow helicopter would be a nice touch.
I expected when seeing the trailer and description that Monte Carlo would have famous corners like the top of Col de Terrini or even snow banks in Sweden to bounce off. Some of the early stages look nothing like their real life claimed counterparts. It would have been better using two highly detailed stages than 4 per round. Real Racing 3 got the ingredients right. Highly detailed and so real.
This game reminds me of the V Rally games on PSX.
It would be nice to be able to tweak and play with settings. It's great to see so many cars from this year.
It would be nice to include (as WRC owns the rights) some of the WRC 2 cars, like the Fcukmatie green car or maybe some previous cars like the Mini as it's the same class as the cars. I remember the first official WRC game on PS2, if the developers modelled the game on this engine I'm sure the results would be better than this. The cars look great, but where are the replays like in the original WRC game 14 years ago.
Maybe less arcade style and more simulation and this would read 5 stars. Colin McRae iOS was a start, this is on a par. If you can upload games like Max Payne and San Andreas in full HD resolution then there is no excuse for the hype this game had that it didn't deliver a near PS2/3 style experience like the other WRC titles.
So in update...
1) add handbrake, it's used in rallying, Scandinavian flick isn't the same on brake
2) tracks are too polished and don't resemble the real stages. Use features from real stages (Colin's Crest I would have expected for example in Sweden)
3) no spectators or stage furniture. Crowds on corners, orange arrows. Even the various types of tape each country use.
4) starting with one of the WRC actual cars would encourage the game rather than a car never seen in WRC before, where is Ken Blocks car or Henning Solbergs car?
5) Use a multiplayer experience like some other iOS games, this is perfect platform for a challenge amongst friends or web players. Off road legends 2 support this via game centre and it makes game life last.
6) replays, the replays in the first WRC games were beautiful. Also include an intro as WRC hold the rights to footage. Use it!
Again I await the future update and developers response to this critical view
7) look at other racing and rally games and see where this game went wrong. It's a game that you'll play but feel won't return for after value unless the above points are addressed.

Average Rally Experience
Was looking forward to a new rally game on iOS after Colin McRae Rally had iOS 8 Compatibility Issues it was taken down. In comparison these are very different games... I was very surprised how I've been expected to pay £2.49 and to have all the cars and drivers locked from the beginning. The game should have been Freemium with what you get. It'll take some grinding to really move up and unlock the VW Polo Rally Cars etc. The Games Driving Physics are tailored to more of a drift round a corner approach but it doesn't handle very well using the on screen touch controls. I would have preferred more of a fine precision handling model as I find it very basic in all honesty! As a WRC Series Fan It's not like the Vita Version at all to be fair so it's a very iOS type of experience if your on the fence I would wait till it goes on Sale or down a little in price! 3/5 Stars from me.
