They’ve blocked me 24.000£ pounds 50 days ago with no logical explanation and still don’t have any response regarding my money and when i will get them back.

I have lost business and time.

Incredible stress.

I’ve told them that i will take it legally and they were laughing on the phone in my face.

I have spent on the phone more than 20 hours with different incapable and unprofessional staff and all i have got it’s ( someone will contact you shortly or tomorrow ).

I have made more than 20 complaints.

I have raised 7 tickets.

I have sent 26 emails.

They think they are above the law and they don’t care about legal human rights.

I’m taking shortly this spoiled brats to court and i will make sure they’ll pay a lot more that they own.

A lot of people giving it a low score

A lot of people giving it a low score but in fairness, overall at least for us it does the job. It is much bette than it was last year. Surely if you want all of the features of the till then use the actual till or a browser on a Windows PC , no issue. Works fine on ios. Shame they aren’t doing Windows tills anymore but overall no issue!

It’s always going down

This till software is a nightmare. Always going offline and creating duplicate bills.

It’s hardwired into a dedicated fibre Lan so we know it’s not our connection. The servers are rubbish.

Signed up and issues day 1

Signed up for your system and got a good discounted offer on it with hardware included.

However whilst the tills system at present looks smart, sleak and practical I haven’t set it up yet so can’t comment. I just hope it isn’t as bad as this app!

This is a sole reviewing of this app which is basically an app that loads the back office site as an internal web browser. Could load Safari quicker! It’s absolutely shocking and doesn’t work practically at all! I’m uninstalling it it’s taking up space and achieving nothing of use.

Wouldn’t mind but paying for its usage so I should at least be able to have a decent app that isn’t browser loading and works as a properly formulated and coded app that is actually an app itself.

This app needs major improvements and until it’s happened I won’t be using it.

You need to listen to mine and other feedback before you destroy anymore of your reputation and business. As an end user of your EPOS I know what’s right and this isn’t. Listen to feedback and improve for the love of god for all our sakes!

Only interested in cash cows, beware small businesses

Very helpful and friendly…. Until they get your money. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good system, for businesses with a large inventory or a reasonably static menu. If you’re small and nimble and change your offering by the day, the system is inflexible and over-complicated. Don’t expect any help from sales or anybody else (assuming you get through to them.) Also, no free trial, but they promised the money back if it wasn’t suitable… Still waiting on that one… They might even have got 2 stars if they had delivered on that promise.

Disappointing

Very constrictive and ‘sticky’. Too many frustrating Bugs that are easy fixes. Please invest further in ironing out user experience. Once logged in, it would be helpful if the system recognised me on my next visit. It’s seemingly 50:50 if the system will let me in?Side menu intrusion annoying. Otherwise OKAY

Impossible to speak to anyone on the phone, still waiting for a callback from a month ago! Not the sort of service you would expect from an Epos company, even if staff cannot be in the office surely being a tech company staff can easily work remotely 🙄

Epos Now has crashed just like it’s app

EposNow used to be a really decent system which worked pretty well. The last year has seen the tills become completely unreliable, tons of issues in the backoffice and shocking support even after Covid. I would definitely have recommended them a while back but after many years of use I would advise to avoid like the plague, not sure if there are any better out there but I used to be with Vend which I found great at the time, maybe time for a change. Horrible iOS app by the way, tons of issues not even worth detailing as there is not enough space to go through them all. A real pity...

Terrible

It’s just their back office website (which leaves a lot to be desired anyway) wrapped in a terrible browser acting as an “app”

It somehow got worse recently- the side menu bar keeps popping up every single time you move to a new screen

And you have to scroll sideways and upwards for miles for things like editing products or table plans and you accidentally click on something you don’t want as you swipe left about 4 screens.

Basically it is an awful UI hindering a potentially very powerful system.

Get a real website and app developer and sort it out. Please

Poor customer service

When signing up I questioned some poor reviews regarding customer support and was assured that this was only recent due to Covid related furloughed staff but thy are all working again now. Since then, I have tried many times to get customer support without success and one month later, we still don’t have a functioning system. Online support is non existent. Phone support can take a minimum of 4 hours to get a reply. If you are unlucky to miss the call back due to dealing with our valued clients Epos Now don’t call again. I would not recommend Epos Now and am currently looking for an alternative. They are very quick to take your money but delivery on service is in my experience, non existent!

- for all barcode input box. Please provide an option to use mobile camera as a barcode scanner as input. There are lots of SDK to do so.

As always the only good reviews are fake. Just like trust pilot.

It’s well known that epos now write their own reviews on trust pilot. For example they receive a bad review and 5 decent ones go on top of it. This APP and the ratings is no different than everything else they offer. Rubbish.

I had to change my whole system because of this company costing thousands. The hardware tills you can buy brand new for £190. They sell for £995. My new supplier showed me the Chinese place they get them from.

The POS Epos system/till is okay at best but crashes, a lot. Very slow to load and impossible to use back office on.

The mobile app is handy when it works but often crashes leaving you to have to close and re-open several times to achieve anything.

The back office (when used on the laptop) is ok but one of my biggest issues is that despite the back office being through a website, if you try and look at sales figures and stats, it ALWAYS times out.

I don’t see the point in a back office if it isn’t reliable.

On the rare occasion (after a good 5/6 minutes of trying and reloading etc) if does bring up your stats, it doesn’t seem to cache or store that information requested for faster retrieval in the future.

If it wasn’t for the fact I’ve invested so much time in setting up the till (which crashed and lost all my information and all stored bar codes the night before I had my grand opening - which when I called to complain about was met with laughter from EPOS customer service! I’d change.

My first test was user login and after user selection, passport screen was appeared. Dont know the passport and wanted to get back or cancel but i cant go anywhere. Didnt changed anything if i close/open the app. Now i have to uninstal and install it again :(

Poor performance, not really worth the price

Keeps playing up, crashes during transactions and we’ve so far lost on close to ten transactions ( for a three month period). Doesn’t always respond to commands, temperamental. Since creating an additional login it’s been a nightmare, without the additional login anyone can have access to the back office at any point, kind of invalidates the whole purpose of having a software....

Needed an Epos system to help track the money I was putting through my business.

Pricing was clearly explained, simple monthly fees with no contract or tie in. I can use the software on any device and will be looking to get my chip and pin system tied in in the near future.

Expensive in regards to if u want to use another till, u pay full amount again? There is no complain procedure, how shocking. Your email is a one way traffic, never got reply, nothing mentioned on their website? Even if u speak to advisor they keep ignoring u abt complain process. Imagine all the retail businesses are busy during weekend and some late evening, u get support 9-6 mon-fri otherwise pay extra

Unfortunately this company markets itself extremely well on the internet so most people use this company without really looking into it just like I did.

It's one not a commercial piece of software. 2 it's very expensive for what it is.

Very limiting

Every part of this software is limiting, you cannot add pictures, change text size, access the toll from more then one place without paying for two tills which you may not even need except for training or back office. The reps are very pushy and try and get you to buy this but it's not ready to use.

The buttons on screen are very small and you cannot make them bigger, does not talk to WIX store.

I honestly don't think this is worth half the money they charge!

Wow, they've done it again!
