Great...but
Great app - nothing negative here. However, it would be great if you could select your vehicle make (and model) such that any fault code shows JUST the faults for YOUR vehicle, rather than showing what that particular fault code is for all makes. I love this app; allows me to keep tabs on the honesty of the car dealerships.

Brilliant OBD software
Excellent app which makes it very easy to monitor or identify problems and clear them. I am using PRO version £1/m with OBDII plug costing £13. It takes less than 2 mins to install and set up.

Disappointed with the app,have to pay for subscription and even then there’s still not much you can do with it. Only paid so I could add a new battery but it don’t support that. Much better apps out there which I’ve downloaded and does everything I needed this 1 to do

Hidden extras £££
Really disappointed for item to arrive and the software on ios is basic. For you to unlock full app information you need to subscribe for the year or every month. Will be sending this back and buying a plug in version and without the hidden extra costs.

Forces you to upgrade to Pro version
Have just bought a VGate iCar Pro who direct you to download this app. The app appears fairly good in fairness & which found a fault, but in order to access other features or clear codes It prompts you to update to the pro version, why don't they allow a one time fix so you can see the software work then I’d be more inclined to upgrade the app?
Having bought the VGate adaptor I'm not spending anymore money on this app as I don't even know if it'll work, instead I’m sending back the Vgate & getting a wired OBD2 scanner instead!

Awful App. Got far more information with a free app.
Can’t see how the developers decried this as a leading ODB2 app. I would like to see how they justify that statement. I tried it and paid their subscription and really wish I hadn’t. Waste of money and time. I got more detailed information from a free app than I did from this. Don’t waste your time or Money.

Useless for Land Rover Discovery
Connection via WiFi no problem, but I can only read RPM, temperatures and speed. No fault codes or anything else.

RIP OFF! Do not waste your money.
I have an iPhone 6 Plus with up to date software and this app cannot pick up either faults that are lighting up my dashboard. I paid for the monthly prescription to get the diagnostics as I have an airbag fault and a headlight fault and wanted to save some money but this app just can’t seem to pick up either after countless tries of me disconnecting and reconnecting it. Complete rip off and I’d like my money back.

Upgrade does nothing I want my money back please
I have an iPhone X - it’s been a nightmare to find the right Bluetooth setting to connect.
Finally got connected. Then thought I should upgrade.
My wife’s Ford Kuga has two messages one is an Oil service and another is engine malfunction. (I suspect it’s an 02 sensor error) This thing does NOT see either.
Frankly - Rubbish can I have my money back please

Nice app, helped diagnose and fix an issue
The app helped me see the error code that was turning my engine management light on, so I could fix the issue.
BUT... I want to be able to now turn off the engine management light, and there is no way I’m signing up to a regular subscription for a feature I need once and might never need again. Should just be £4.99 one off for the Pro version.

Poorly designed DTC display
Bought the Pro version and very disappointed, there’s very little additional feature of any use compared to the Free version plus claimed features like VIN read and Manufacturer Specific DTCs don’t work.
The biggest failing with this app is the DTC display. Having read the DTC codes from my cars ECU it lists all the codes of the same number from all the manufacturers! So what should have been a list of 6 Peugeot specific DTCs was 60 DTCs from all manufacturers who use the same engine ECU codes! Makes the list very difficult to read.
The second issue is the database used isn’t complete, in many cases there is more than one reason linked to each DTC, yet this app only displays the first of the list so you will mis-diagnose the problem you’re trying to solve through lack of information.
Just get OBD Car Doctor instead, it’s far simpler and more accurate.

I don’t think you understood what I meant. Take the Peugeot DTC P1435 as reported by the vehicle, this is the list of all the translations for the code provided by Peugeot, but your app only reports one of them:
A/C Refrigerant temperature circuit Range/Performance.
EDC15C2 - Additive adding system. Faults additive accuracy.
EDC15C2 - Additive system. Fuel gauge fault.
EDC15C2 - Additive system. Low additive level sensor fault.
EDC15C2 - Additive system. Fuel filler cap present sensor fault.
EDC15C2 - Additive system. Faults additive pump.
EDC16C3 - Additive system. Value received by the CAN network incorrect
The vehicle isn’t capable to stating which one of these triggered the DTC but by your app arbitrarily selecting just one cause to display it creates confusion.

Can’t read issues
There is a mas sensor issue but after paying for the £17.99 upgrade it can’t detect any issues and says everything is fine when clearly everything is not fine .

Bought this to reset the airbag light and it didn’t do it very disappointed do not buy this cost me a a further £17.99 onto of the £19.99 I paid for the unit would of been cheaper to got to the dealer to switch it off
