Apple Watch???
Love the most of the calendar features but only rating it 1 star as it doesn’t have an Apple Watch version and the app icon doesn’t show the actual date. Both hugely annoying

Hi Google. Can you please make a DARK MODE for ALL APPS? And can you please remove the "Google" before every app name like you did with Tasks? It's quite annoying and unnecessary. Like.. we know it's a Google app.

Great app just missing one thing
Love everything about this app. But the actual calendar needs to be a little bigger and more front and centre. Kind of like the outlook app and the iPhone calendar app.

Poor UI, not clear
I think the UI on this app is really bad. Too many colours, confusing what day you’re on when in schedule view, poor alternative views too. Just terrible

One more thing.
The only feature that keeps me from switching to google calendar is the app icon. I love default calendar icon, it shows correct date which I pay attention to but google calendar is always 31.
I use google calendar for work, it allows me to easily keep track on scheduled meetings.
Personal stuff is on default apple calendar.

Missing meetings in my calendar!
I usually like google calendar, at least on desktop. However this app has the possible career destroying bug that it does not sync the most up tonight calendar info. When I turn on all my work calendars: events, ..., everything. It does not show me all my meetings for the day, and the meetings I do have are not up to date, I.e. it does not show I have excepted meetings which I did 24 hours ago. Basically the app is showing a really outed sync of my calendar constantly, and does not let the user know in anyway that this is the fact. Currently useless till this bug is fixed.
Update:
Now it’s crashing every time I create an event in the app. Either during the process or just after. I am disappointed no one ever responded to my last review

Weak functions
Some of the functions are weak, for example to add a Calendar category you have to leave the Google app and do it via a browser. This is not intuitive and it is unnecessarily complicated

I use this app to see my school timetable and my amazon Alexa can read it which makes my mornings a lot easier and smoother. Recommend to students and business people.

Good iOS calendar replacement but
I was looking for a replacement for my stock calendar as it wasn't handling cancelled meetings very well and this does that. It looks good and is easy to use too.
But, it really needs the date on the app icon....I see I'm not the only one that thinks that this needs fixing. Please fix!

My only issue with this app is that the Icon doesn’t actually say the date like the iphone calendar app. And what’s worse is that it says 31st!

Almost Perfect
Really useful calendar to help my wife and I coordinate our busy schedules. However there are 2 problems with it and I hope they can be fixed on newer versions:
1. It would be great if the app showed the date on the home screen rather than just 31! Apple have managed so we know I can be done.
2. It be very useful to be able to edit the colour label names e.g. holiday or work etc

Okay...
Still miles better than the iOS calendar, but the start up time is really slow and is really slow to navigate around (needs more gestures).
Also the date needs to change on the app icon, like the iOS app. Please change the app icon, or make it a setting that I can.

Best calendar app once you actually launch it, but having a big 31 as the app icon at all times is a bit of a let down. Why not display the actual day of the month?

Great Replacement but not perfect
I’ve recently come over to everything google after upgrading to Google Home and love this calendar app as a replacement to my loved Apple stock one. Issues and why it’s only getting 3 stars, the app on home screen should and this I believe should be a minimum, display the current date and not just a ‘31’ as that’s just pointless!! Secondly I’ve also setup a t family calendar as we had on the iPhone stock one and although I like the app my wife doesn’t so I’ve setup the google onto her stock Apple app but it takes ages to update if I add something in to the diary it seems to take a good 10/15 mins to hit hers! Not the end of the world but annoying when the Apple one is instant. I also get notifications when we add stuff on the stock app and we don’t with the google setup which I think should be in the next upgrade. As I say I like the app and like the google eco system but needs a lot more attention to be awarded a 5 rating.

Loved it but only on day 1
Spent hours populating the calendar which was easy and intuitive. Thought it was going to be a regularly used app. Day 2 I went to open it and add more but it appeared to have lost my identity. Asked for my google account then wanted me to change my password which set off alarms for me so it’s going to be deleted.

Rubbish on accessibility
No option to change font sizes and seems to ignore system front settings. Come on Google please consider people with eyesight disabilities.

Latest release useless in iPad
I was having some difficulties sharing anyway, but after latest app release installed I went to change the date of a single entry in a monthly series, something I have done loads of times both in the and calendar app. After doing it and choosing the this one only option, it appears to do it but you get the same screen up with everything locked out. Uninstalled as its useless in this state.

Typical experience, I want to use this with my outlook account. What is it with these companies not supporting each other’s accounts. This is no way to attract people to use this. Too restrictive and therefore a pile of crap.

Never syncs properly on iphone or ipad
I have to delete app and reinstall regularly (not just sign out) to get it to sync dates properly. Has happened on my ipad air, iphone 5s and 7. With all software updated.
It’s not like I want it to make toast! Just keep dates- which it purports to do but doesn’t. Come on Google!!

This app is almost perfect except for little useless annoyances, mainly the grouped reminder feature. Reminders should be separate to give a clear picture of the day.

Needs 3D Touch
My company uses this app to add appointments to shared diaries. We used to be able to type a phone number in and we could just ring from the app. New update has taken this feature away. Pain in backside now

Change frequently
The flow of the app changes quite frequently which is all good but not always for the better.
How can I insert someone’s birthday as a Reminder for the day before?
The calendar can’t move to the next year either for reminders...

Won’t be perfect without a Watch app
Undoubtedly the best calendar app... but not the choice if you have an Apple Watch. No app and no complications make it useless if you rely on your watch.

Two stars just because of last update.
Before the update, I could click on the description and copy and paste specific information or I could click on the telephone number and call this number straight away. Now I have to go to edit mode and when I’m clicking on the content it won't work straight away.

WTF phone numbers stopped working
As of the new, Viz update, I can’t call people by tapping on the phone number in the event title. If this is not me being stupid in some way please fix this ASAP

Latest update problem
The latest update fpr google calendar has a problem where the screen freezes in black for a short few seconds when you click on a schedule to view it in more detail. Please revise and fix this problem please. Overall, the app is great and easy to use.

Good app, BAD UPDATE!!
Good app to use but CAN’T STAND the new layout, one of the app’s initial draws for me was that I preferred the layout over apple calendar, but this newest update isn’t good at all. Please change it back!!!!! Any ideas on how I could un-update?? 😫
