Customers can buy single issues and subscriptions using In App Purchase
Subscriptions are available on monthly or annual terms.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period
• You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, for the same duration and at the current subscription rate for that product
• You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings after purchase
• No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period. This does not affect your statutory rights
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Lovely magazine
I’ve been buying this magazine since it began and went digital two years ago. I run this on my iPad and have had no issues at all. I would also like to see some cheaper substitutes yarns. Apart from that keep up the good work.

Great Magazine
Love the patterns it offers, however the app is too unstable. It worked very well at first, but now find it impossible to use. As a result I cancelled my subscription until they sort it out.

A good magazine
The Knitter itself is a good magazine. However, I do find it doesn’t give enough alternative economical yarn choices.
The app is extremely unstable. I have bought quite a few digital copies but I won’t buy anymore as it is too frustrating to try and read them.
However, the tech department was very helpful and quickly replied to my queries.

An excellent magazine but as I am now unable to knit I am finding it impossible to cancel my subscription. Can any body help?

This magazine has lots of useful information and useful patterns unlike many others I've seen which seem full of scarves and toys.

Can't live without.
One of the very few knitting magazines that rewards you by not treating you constantly like a beginner and bombarding you with scarves/cowls/beanies. Wonderful, brilliant production every single issue.

I have bought this magazine in paper format before but this is better, easier to store and great to navigate. The patterns are very high quality, probably aimed at more experienced knitters.

Great magazine
I have looked at lots of knitting magazines but this is the only one I enjoy. The patterns are so modern and stylish. The articles are interesting and there are great tutorials.

Find another knitting magazine without so many download issues
Issues are difficult to download automatically without having to use the restore purchases function or even deleting the app . Digital subscribers don't get the same benefits as paper subscribers we are second class citizens as far as the magazine is concerned.
We have to wait until at least the day the mag is in the shop until ours is available. Often it is later than this before the digital is available.
On the positive side having a digital copy makes using other apps such as knit companion a dream to use. But all in all the negatives outweigh the positives. Find something else.

The Knitter is one of the best knitting magazines in the UK. The app allows subscribers to read electronic versions of the magazine and download patterns to keep.

Too buggy
The magazine is good for knitters with experience but the app is terrible - crashes frequently, issues disappear and won't come back without an uninstall and can't be shared over multiple devices.

Good to be able to print off individual patterns for Knitting with. The magazine is great but the app is erratic!

App no good
I've had nothing but trouble with The Knitter since the new app has been installed! First of all, why is it only possible to view anything in portrait? I want to view it in landscape, and all other apps have that facility. This app is well behind the times, obviously! Also, when I view anything in purchased copies and I want to view another edition I can't because it goes back to the previous one I viewed! There are no options or anything. A real waste of time, and I have now cancelled my subscription.

Unable to sync purchases from old version. Deleted and downloaded three times and it still doesn't work. Please sort our this problem.

The Knitter
If something works then why this need to change it! Whilst I had no problem synching my purchases the first thing I noticed is there is no longer a print option. When I sent an email questioning this I was sent a reply with no answer to my question. On the second attempt I was told I could take a screen shot of a page, email to myself and print it out that way. Really!? And the flashing banner at the top of the page is very distracting. Very disappointed by this app and will be considering not renewing my subscription.

Like other users I am really annoyed that I can no longer access my purchased copies of this magazine. You really need to get this sorted out. I have now cancelled my subscription and won't be renewing it any time soon.

The Knitter new App
The Knitter is an excellent magazine. I did finally manage to get my purchases transferred. But I discovered that I can no longer print a page (or more). This point alone will mean I won't be buying issues from the new app. When I first subscribed to The Knitter you couldn't print, but I complained and then saw that the print function was added. Now we're back to square one. Would you consider adding the print function?

Does not work, appalling.
Nothing happens when you tap to transfer editions to new app. New app does not synch and does not recognise my Apple ID and password. This is disgraceful and unless I can access my copies today I will miss a deadline for my sister's gift. As usual, all about flashy announcements and no thought for loyal subscribers who pay their wages. "immediate publishers?" Never should have bought this title if you can't provide the basic service of letting me read my magazines! SORT IT OUT,
