Fallen from grace
Used to really enjoy this game a few years back, now I’ve found it to be hardly functional, can’t seem to bid on players nor exchange for the legendary player I’ve spent coins on, shame because this used to be a cool game

Great game!!
I play this game daily without subscription and while there are payers it is not a game where the titles can just be bought. The more you play the more competitive you can be. The individual packs are low cost and worth every penny, (with the exception of Jordan/Kobe packs) but you don’t need those players. I have great current players and hall of famers in my squad, I’m top ten nationally and all from 20 to 30 mins played daily. Well worth it!!

Getting worse with each update...
Been playing the game for a few years now, losing the licence (then getting it back in one update) so no more player or team images lost the edge on the game - but to now have all the player names edition just feels like a fake, fictional game.

I’m just glad I’m not bothering trying to get on the Planet version and have to pay silly amounts to renew contracts, or this worsening game would have to be deleted in a heartbeat.

New update = cash grab
Update: Having lost their NBA licence and still charging through the earth to keep players under contract is it not time to call it a day?!!!
Despite having to re-buy all your players each planet (level) you move up I’ve loved the game for the last 12 months. Worked hard (and spent a bit of cash) to get to the final level (planet) and now with the latest update their is an expensive “contract renewal” tax on your players. Wouldn’t mind but the fees as astronomical e.g. to renew LeBron James (who I paid about £20 of game currency for), would cost over £20 ($25) to keep for another 60 days. I don’t love any game that much. Lost a loyal customer and player.

Waste of time and money!
Very disappointing. After playing through the game, spending real money and building a team the game has lost its NBA licence. All player images, jerseys etc have disappeared. What a waste of money!!!

The game has great potential
Unfortunately the developers have spent most of the money on the rights rather than focusing on the gameplay.
There is no depth in the game play. A team has 96 points value will always beat a 95 point value.
When you win a league, there is no award given unless you are always there to collect (I presume as I never get my awards on Saturdays)
Although there are a lot of online players and you can see their stats, there is no communication whatsoever between the players.
There is no way to sell/trade your players. So develop one, and the second you have enough money to pick an allstar, done and gone. Because there is no salary gap so you can play with all the big names in your team, without any problems.

So this was an alright game..... and then the whole planets happened. Now am I right in saying that if you a player in bronze and the the same person in silver you add their points? Well it hasn’t been doing that especially for big players so my ratings is forever staying the the 50000 when it should be will Into the 80000.... fix your glitches! It’s frustrating because you can’t get past the all star in silver with 50000 because the top dogs are 70 80000. I deleted the app

Short lived excitement
I’ve had & used this game for about 2/3 years now. Probably spent around £30 on it total, not certain. Despite the fun of building a great team at first, I’m now finding it tedious & elitist. It is far more fun for those willing to spend real money, which makes it far less rewarding for those who won’t. However my primary issue with the game is that it has a poor performance & is not kept up to date. I have numerous bugs that persist whilst playing. The planets part of the game is infuriating & not clear. There is a lack of communication with the developers, I have many questions as to what happens with certain things, such as what will happen to my player once he retires? Do I lose him? Or will he become a legend? It’s not clear. Also I have completed the requirements for the next planet, but nothing happens. Frankly I’m bored of it & there’s not enough care installed into it. Clearly money is the prime goal of the builders, which is understandable. But I expect my payment to me matched with an adequate & sufficient game. This is a rip off & quite frustrating as it currently stands. OTB, if you’d like to get in touch with me, I will extensively explain my issues with it quite happily, but I doubt you will, as you don’t care. Still gets 2 star rating for the concept & enjoyment that I had 2 years ago

This is a great game which could however cause you to spend real money due to how addictive it is! I play it every time I look at my phone which means I often waste 15 minutes just sitting there playing and then forgetting I'm at work lol. You won't regret getting this game if you love card games and NBA!

I've been playing this game since the 2014 edition and it's great! Last season, bringing in the option to buy/sell players was so good! But this year they've gotten rid of the selling of players and they've got too many adverts! Can't even play a whole tournament without getting bombarded by adverts you can't skip...

Remove real life points system
This game is really fun but it is ruined by the real life points based system. You can spent so much in game money on improving a player to (for example) be worth 1,000 points and if in real life he barely plays, he can go down to 200! It's utter crap! My team rating went from 6,000 to 3,200 eventhough I spent 35,000,000$ ingame on it! REMOVE THE POINTS SYSTEM PLEASEEEEE

Constant bugs and poor support
I have previously loved other versions of this game. This new version has brought nothing but bugs and issues which. Despite me contacting the support multiple times they failed to help me. Seems this new version is very driven to in game purchases to be able to improve players and make your team competitive. So disappointed

SORT THIS GAME OUT ITS GETTING ANNOYING NOW THAT THINGS DO NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't bother buying coins or cash for REAL money as it's worth nothing. I've been playing NBA GM 2014 and spent money on coins and now put my details in this new version and starting from scratch again. What a waste and I'm very disappointed that FROM THE BENCH would do this. Can't even bring across the players I've bought so it's all been a waste of time and money. Just hope they don't shut the 2014 version down

The app is great, all the info etc is up to date and depending on actual NBA season, which is great. I'd rate 5/5 but there are some problems with performance of the app, it sometimes stops working and starts working again after about 20 seconds. But anyway, the app is fun, you develop your team constantly so it doesn't get boring quickly!

Massively addictive
It makes following the nba every week so much more interesting. I like to know which of my players are levelling up and who need to be in the lineup, who is playing well and who is injured or out of form. Very addictive game.

Good game, very time consuming and annoyingly once you get to a certain level the only way to get better is by buying coins which are stupidly overpriced!!
Also always wants you to add friends and if you don't have any friends with this game it stops you from playing other tournaments which is again stupid.

Was great, latest update is a shambles though
I'd been enjoying the game greatly but, since the last update (mid dec), the game is now unworkable and crashes whenever you do ANYTHING (iPhone 5). The upgrade has taken the game from enjoyable and slightly buggy to a source of such frustration that I will have to walk away. Shame, as I would have been willing to continue to play and provide the developers with revenue. Please do simple testing at least in future

Its good but i was disappointed
I think this version is amazing. The new free agents page, the lineup page is more fluid. However after putting in so muxh effort and money into the 2014 version i at least though my coins and money would carry over. Great job with all the upgrades though. One suggestion, unlock the tournaments until you get past level 6. Alot of my friends on facebook as im british dont play this game so im having to use my coins.

Viewing player stats could be easier and a player compare option would help. Game crashes after every tournament and you have to open the app again.

Needs work.
Too many glitches. Players I buy just come up a blank silhouette. All Atlanta players ratings after 5 games are stupidly high as all the states are wrong, whereas other players ratings haven't changed even though we are into the season. It's not consistent at all. Game crashes all the time after tournaments. When I unlock tournaments I have to do some tasks twice. Needs a lot of work.

DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS GAME!
If your new to this game be aware that all real money you spend in this game is most likely to be completely wiped out when next years addition comes out as absolutely nothing carries over from the previous addition. I spent quite a bit of money building a dream roster last year and when I upgraded to this edition the whole lot is gone and can't be retrieved. I'll start again from scratch this year but my money will be staying firmly in my pocket. Apple seriously needs to start clamping down on these games that are effectively robbing people of their hard earned money.

Like others have said it would have been nice to have been able to carry over your squad from the 2014 version to this or at least pick which ones you wanted to carry across. Still this game is addictive and a nice way to pass the time.
