I have played this game loyally for 6 years, EVERY DAY, HONEST and spent money on it. When I first started playing this game, the rewards were awesome. Then they were awesome for a small amount of money. They did very generous rewards. Now…..
It’s unbelievably stingy. Also , they got rid of all the genuine rewards…..
Raiway and the gambling one. Now the new reward contests are very hard and when you do get them, after hours of gameplay you get very stingy rewards. I have spent even more money on this after 5 years of spending money……..a lot of money…….I still miss out. Bring back the events that give you genuine and decent prizes for your money. Rewards that give you decent prizes, especially if you are paying extra. I feel that you are now……money grabbing. I’m now moving on to other games. I was loyal. It did nothing for me. A lesson to be learnt. I spent soooooooooo much money on your game over 6 years. Now you are money grabbing. The money I’ve spent over last few weeks got me NOTHING

Love the graphics and the story line is intriguing but on day 2, I found myself endlessly repeating the same board and getting nowhere. If you don’t want to be constantly buying help, you have to wait for luck, for chance to give you an easier board. Not worth the effort in my view.

Started playing at Xmas and found it refreshing as no ads and you could easily earn extra time to play. Lots of entertaining events too. Sadly the ads crept in resulting in frozen screens and lost games. After filling in their questionnaire on my experience of the game things briefly improved but not for long. Now the troublesome ads have returned, the individual games have got ridiculously hard and no way to earn extra lives/time without paying. Very sorry to have to delete this game but it’s lost it’s charm for me.

Used to love this game but it is becoming a pain to play now. I understand advertisements are what keeps the game free but the awful, slimming product advert, which claims to have been supported by Dragon’s Den when it hasn’t, is not only misleading but is preventing the game from working. It goes to the ad and freezes there and the only way to get out is to close the game. I’ve complained only to be told they have no control of the advertisements used. Well someone must have surely!
Perhaps this is intentional in order to make people pay the subscription for the ad free version but at £17+ a month I can’t see that working. If this carries on I will definitely delete the app which is such a shame!

I used to play this and it was such a great game. Had to stop when it wasn’t supported by my old iPad.
The game has changed and not for the better. It’s been made so much harder in order to encourage us to buy our way to success.
I always pay for the gold ticket. But now it’s practically impossible to complete it in the time and collect all the prizes you’ve paid for. Just not worth purchasing .
You can have a spate of winning games and you get time as a prize with each one but you can’t save or store this. Consequently you can have numerous hours ticking away unused while you’re not playing the game. It’s hardly fair; I mean, how many of us can sit for 8, 12 even 24 hours solidly playing to use up what we’ve won? As we’ve won it we should be able to keep the time. It should stop when we stop playing then restart when we begin again.
This used to be, I think, the best game out there. But now they’ve got too mercenary and spoiled it just to get more money. Such a shame. And my comments won’t alter anything.

Love this game and have got extremely far without having to pay for anything. Yesterday and today an advert is loading and giving a black page with the only option the download icon. If you click on it it takes you to one of the many scam sites for diet pills. Close that and then back to black page which you cannot exit from. Also the adverts for diet pills should not be on a game platform that children use. Now not enjoying as have to keep restarting. Please make sure your adverts run before putting them in the game.

I truly enjoyed this game at the beginning, as there are interesting levels, events etc.,but there are too many ads (although I understand why, so no issues or stars removed because of it).
However, in the last few days it has been crashing a lot, like I can’t complete a level. It kicks me out mid level and of course if I had used a booster to start the level with, I lose it. Based on that I can’t give it more than 3 stars at this time, sorry.

Parents should be advised that although this game is rated 4+ it is totally unsuited for younger children. The game constantly tries to get you to buy jewels and inventory to speed game play and temps even further with so called special offers. This alone makes it a worry but it also constantly makes you watch ads that try and sell you more games. Some children may know the value of money but younger ones don't and this game will constantly nag them which in turn will comeback to you, this rapidly becomes an unpleasant experience.
You hear horror stories of children running up huge bills where parents have not turned off in-app purchasing.
It is better to pay a reasonable one off charge for a game which children are playing rather than getting one with in app purchasing especially when there is a such constant pressure to spend ever more money.
As for the game it is well crafted but essentially just an ever increasingly difficult jewel match type gameplay with a few item finding puzzles wrapped up in a storeyline. Again the difficulty ramps up fairly quickly in an effort to make you buy more jewels etc.
Unfortunately this type of game is all to common and parents should consider if their children may be exploited with constant in-app purchasing pressure which is becoming ever more sophisticated.

I could have easily give 5 stars but for a while now, while in play mode, the game
crashes and every time this happens, I am losing either a life or first time solve the level awards etc.
Can you please look into it? It is not fair to play and all of a sudden lose because of the crash. It is especially frustrating when I am one move away from winning the level.

The game is nothing amazing. Just another standard candy-crush-like game. It becomes gradually more and kore difficult and the energy gauge runs out after a number of plays so you need to wait for refills to play more or pay to refill it. However, the ads which advertise this game are totally misleading and do not reflect the actual gameplay. If you cannot make people play your game by promoting its actual gameplay then you might want to make another game…

They first few hours I played showed the complete OPPOSITE of what I was looking for on the add and the rating says that it's for 4+ . I have a younger brother and he is 4 turning 5 in a couple of months and I wo I would NEVER let him play it's so age inappropriate .I would rather you change these things quick and stop your petty apologies and make actions quick .Your company would go bankrupt and that would be a waste of money٫ would it?There is another reason why I wouldn't advise this game. Why do you need all the information asked ? I truly believe that it was not needed .I think you should listen to the review and think about the point of view and so do some other people.

I downloaded this game thinking it was more of a puzzle game - as this is what was advertised. Rotate the pieces to fit into a shape - nowhere did this advert mention being a match 3 in a row!!
I don’t want another match 3 in a row game. I want the puzzle game that was advertised. I’m sure if I continued to play, I may come across a mini game of the content wanted but I wanted a whole game of this not just the odd challenge here and there.
Granted, the App Store description does make all of this clear but the advert pop up in another game does not.

I downloaded this game and I knew almost instantly that it would be a difficult game. Like other games, it all started out fairly well, but rapidly got very difficult, if not impossible to get any decent gameplay. I did enjoy the difficult gameplay, until it got impossible to pass any level at all, obviously to entice you to buy rubies, etc. While I accept that the developers have a right to a decent income, with this game it’s at the expense of the players. I did like the quirkinesses of this game and still do, but not at my expense.

I love this game. And have been playing it for many years now and love the new content recently added. But I am having massive issues with game constantly closing itself down continuously closing itself down literally seconds after logging in.!!?? This all began approx 3-4 weeks ago. I have tried everything to try and rectify this “bug glitch”, but to no avail. As I am sure you can imagine it’s ruining the game and becoming more frustrating. I spent 2 hours of hard earned free reward time trying to get onto the game last night. Please could you look into this as I am going to be left with no choice than to delete the game I truly enjoy and love playing. Bit like flogging the the dead horse really.🙈😟😔 Thanks in advance.

Been playing a couple of years now and finally admit that every round is fixed, which means if you don’t want to be stuck on the same level for days until it lets you win, you have to continually pay more and more, I realised I’ve spent too much money on this game for no other reason than to advance past un-winnable levels. And now there’s adverts every other minute that you can either sit through, skip if lucky, or PAY AGAIN to get rid of! It was a good game but I’ve literally thrown money away!

Great games that makes you think, I have been playing for some years now.
The only things which bug me are
When you win say, an hour or more , you have to keep playing to use it which is impossible , so why not, when you close the game, stop the clock ticking and keep what you you have won until you return to the game , so time can be accumulated ?
The other thing is if you can finish a game by using some rubies , why can’t we have back the rubies not used ? Especially when they have been purchased? And have only used one ? Or offer an option to use however many rubies we think we need ?
Same applies to moves , sometimes, not often, I can finish a game ,with tries to spare, so why can’t these be tagged on to the following game or banked ?
Otherwise apart from those suggestions it’s a great game .

I have been enjoying this game for a couple of years. It can be challenging at times but patience and perseverance usually pay off in the end.
The freebies through the initial lockdown were much appreciated thank you.
Suddenly though I find I am assaulted by unwanted ads that frequently disrupt the enjoyment of game play and I’m rapidly losing interest.
I understand and appreciate that I’ve enjoyed the game foc this far but the barrage of ads is off the scale and I don’t think I’m prepared to put up with it.

It’s with a heavy heart that once I use up my rubies I will be deleting this game.
I have been playing it for well over a year and really enjoyed it, but now it appears the developers have become too greedy and want money from you left right and centre.
The clock safe has gone from 100 rubies to 75 but you have to spend the same to get it, the travel season has gone from 30 days to 14, but the gold pass costs the same and the levels have become far too difficult so you need to use your boosters or spend money on rubies to get anywhere.
I’m not enjoying it anymore and am having to spend too much money so I’ve had to take the decision to delete Clockmaker. ☹️

I used to love this game, however since it’s had an update now every time the level your on ends you have to put up with watching an advert before you can play the next level, why have they put adverts on now? It was the only game I enjoyed playing because it didn’t have any adverts like other games, really disappointed with it now it’s added them. Would’ve got 5 stars had it stayed advert fee but hardly play it anymore now.

Unlike other swipe-3 games, this one doesn’t give regular rewards for doing well. Some other swipe-3 games offer loyalty bonuses when they bring out an update. I haven’t come across any puzzles yet and have been playing the game for about 3 weeks. I find that the levels are too hard and there are too many of them to complete before any rewards are given. The developers seem focussed on making you pay for bonuses rather than awarding random bonus lives. I will be uninstalling this game as I seem to be getting nowhere. The graphics are good, that’s why I have given it 2 stars.

Enjoying the game, but would be better if it didn’t rely on you buying so many items, it’s a little too commercial. I know these companies have to makes living but, why not introduce a few ads. so you could earn extra lives, gems etc. by watching an ad or two, allowing us cheapskates to proceed with the game.

I am enjoying this game it’s so much better than other match 3. Some levels are hard that they take a few days to complete and some are easy that you clear a good amount before you get stuck. I do think could win more red jewels even on the daily spin you only win one, weekly spins go up to three. I do like the that when you buy extra moves at the end of the level you get 10 when most games it’s less

Tried Clockmaker years ago when it was disappointingly difficult but these days it is much better. I am sorry that you have reduced the bonuses (only two pieces of jigsaw on completing a hard level rather three for instance) and also put the price up on some of the special offers but it is still one of my favourite games.
Yes it is match 3 but just when you think that you understand how to play the different levels a new one comes along. Frogs appear at the bottom of the board and as they jump up a line every time you move, they have to be matched before they reach the top. Or the lizard who moves in a specific path but only when you match footprints. Candy Crush it’s not- it’s a whole lot better.
NB if you have the sound up high enough, the frogs go ribbit and the owls hoot!

This game is fun initially, but the difficulty level goes up quickly. You soon get to the stage where you need tremendous luck to complete a board... or power ups! So you either have to keep repeating the same board again and again in the hope that the random number generator will eventually favour you or spend cash. I got frustrated and gave in to temptation and managed to complete the troublesome level. But the the next one was just as bad and the power ups were soon used. I have got to the stage where it is at the cusp of being more frustrating than fun. I will continue a little longer but I can see myself deleting this games soon. One other annoying thing is that the adverts show game play which is, as far as I can see, simply not in the game.

5 stars for the ad alone. Most advertisers think that having an ad go on for ages, doing the basic template of pull this needle out or annoyingly dumb players make people want to play their game. These people get that players hate that, so thank you for the simple ad. Installing now :)
EDIT: I’ve played the game and It’s actually interesting, the developers have clearly spent a lot of time making the game good. It’s got a nice atmosphere and the introduction cutscene looks well made. This game is a connect 3 but it’s not a cheap copy of games like candy crush and gardenscapes like many others and also stop writing reviews saying it’s candy crush it’s not, it’s the same genre because it’s a connect 3. Reviews like that basically have the science of red dead redemption is a copy of GTA because it’s a shooter.

This is a fantastic game, most of the time, but some of the levels are sooo hard and I have spent hours and hours on one level. To be honest I am getting a bit fed up with it now. There are so many good games out there and it won’t take much now for me to give this game a miss although it is one of the best of its type. Sorry !
Thanks for taking the time to respond, I have carried on playing hoping that as you have advised other players to carry on and not to give up, that eventually I will do the level. For now, that is what I shall do (the levels are still bloody hard though).

I am becoming increasingly more unhappy with this game over the past few months. Trying to open a new building takes forever and just when you think you won enough, it isn’t and you get small reward for all that effort! To then have to start collecting. Always need to spend money on gems or bonus to clear a game or level as some levels are impossible to finish.
Finally, what is going on with the ‘societies’? I have tried to join numerous groups since it was introduced and haven’t received any response at all! Therefore can’t benefit from the new society bonus games! Please help!

UPDATE: Had a reply from the developer that the boosters would appear but would have to be found 🤷♀️ I have yet to find one as they still don’t appear on the board. One time I picked all three and unless three boosters are hidden under the one tile that’s left when the lives have run out then they are not being placed on the board. Frankly the game is now boring because levels are impossible to pass. I’ve been stuck on level 13 for about two weeks now. I can’t even remember what the point of the game is! Deleting.
ORIGINAL: I do like this game but am so frustrated that when you select a booster to use (particularly on a difficult level) it doesn’t appear on the board game! Why? Very irritating.

I have been playing this game for some time now and I’m manage to collect up lots of hours sometimes 150 hours plus and at least 100 plus hearts and some how my game freezes and the only way I get the game back is to turn my iPad off then on these two times I have had to do this I loose all but a couple of hours and 5 hearts . It’s very disheartening. And you can leave it till next day but it’s still frozen. Please can someone help,I spend a lot of money and it’s spoiling my playing time Susan

Good game let down by the difficulty of the levels, I find that it gets too repetitive playing the same level over and over, it’s frustrating the amount of times you get down to the last square and run out of moves, I appreciate you can move on and come back to that level but the same happens on the next game, obviously you could clear the last square if you buy more life’s and I’m guessing that’s what the whole game is set up to do, they want you to spend money, I do appreciate they need to make money but I’d be more inclined to just buy the game outright especially if they made the levels challenging but not impossible but for now I’ll be deleting the game unfortunately.

I loaded and unloaded this game twice thinking it wasn’t for me ....... how wrong was I. So glad I went back the different scenarios going on at the same time, you choose which one to play and it constantly changing with new storyline and characters - except for the original team !
Developers : I’ve lost so many hours it’s ridiculous, I win 12 and only 10 appear, 4 hours just disappeared within an hour of being offline. Now I’ve just purchased the starter bundle, says 24hr continuous lives, screen comes back on ...... only got 20, come on guys, your taking our money at least give us what we pay for

So, as so many other reviews have pointed out, it is yet another swipe to match game. There are no other puzzles; at least not that I have come across yet. However, I thought I would give it a go.
It started off ok and it does give you quite a lot of bonuses etc however, some of the levels to win these bonuses are just ridiculously difficult to win unless you spend the typical gems for extra moves. The most recent levels it is taking like 20-30 times to go to the next level.
I am so fed up with apps and their in app purchasing model. What has happened to just paying a set price for a game and using the items/gems you win in the game to progress? Greed is what has happened. I understand there needs to be financial viability, but the prices charged as just completely absurd.

The game has such promise but starts to get boring when you can't get past a certain level and you can't progress. I've only been playing for a short while and am completely stuck on two levels that will prevent me from moving forward. I always end up 1 or 2 items short and it's just purely down to luck as to whether you get the right gems in the right place when you need them. Shame. Maybe my luck would improve if I spent some money but I'm not willing to do that.

I’ve been playing this game for several months now and although the game has the potential to be awesome I’m about to delete it. This is due to the fact that on many levels I have won 2 or more hours free play and used all of then trying to get off different levels without success.....HOWEVER....if you pa y the 5 or 7 or more crystals for extra moves you can miraculously finish the level. I know the developer needs to make money bu this is fast becoming no different to a gambling issue. I love playing the game but will no longer play unless the levels are realistically possible to finish without the level having to resort to Dick Turpin tactics.....

I was really enjoying this game but have now been stick on the same level for many, many days! There should be a way of by-passing levels and going to the next level, after all these games are supposed to be a bit of fun.......doing one level over and over again is not my idea of fun so, sadly, I will be deleting this game!
Thank you for your response but the truth is I have been trying to get past one level for SO long that I am really losing interest. Funnily enough it is the same level I got stuck on some time ago when I deleted the game last time!!l Maybe it’s not for me!

Only gets 3 stars, as the game adverts lie to you about, how the game is not hRd as if you get stuck it will help you and give you gifts.
No it won’t unless you actually complete a level, then it helps you, but as like me being stuck on one level fir 5 days, using my 5 lives only, as I have no Facebook to help me send lives. Then if you manage it by pure luck it gives you 8 hours of unlimited lives. Why did it not give me that when I was stuck so I could try and try until I did it, not have to play fir 10 minutes then wait hours for 5 more lives fir another 15 minutes.
As long as you won levels it helps you, if you can’t beat one yours stuck without Lady Luck.
This game does not give you help when you need it only when you don’t. And it’s getting harder and shorter to play. Otherwise it is a great game to play fir 15 minutes. But it should be hours of fun not minutes.

I cut my teeth on the Bejewelled Africa match 3- and fell in love with this type of game. The original 7 Wonders of the Ancient World was also very good. In recent years though, match 3 games have become increasingly simple, aimed at a much younger audience. There have been very few that present a challenge. This game is SO good because it is not easy- and yet has an engaging story with over intrusive cut scenes- as many do. Every move you make counts- you cannot attack each screen with random blasting. The moves you have are limited -but just enough to complete a board-with great care. You can buy extra moves and boosters- but personally I want to solve the boards by myself. It is much more satisfying when you do clear it-even if you spend hours on one small section- or days in my case. The story and graphics are perfect- and I think this is the best match 3 for gamers I ever played.

I liked the look of this game but some of the puzzles are extremely difficult to complete without additional tools, bombs etc. I’m only in the early stages and have been tempted to buy necessary bombs etc out of frustration, just to complete the same boring level. Not much variety on the puzzles. You win additional items when completing a level but have no idea what they are for as you can’t seem to use them anywhere.

Totally addicted, best game ever... but one annoying feature for me is the placement of the settings wheel at the bottom right of the screen. I’m left-handed, I hold my device in my right hand and annoyingly, I keep inadvertently touching it and bringing up the settings screen during a game irrespective of screen orientation. Can the settings wheel be located at the top of the screen please please please? Thank you 😊

Found this game fun and addictive now it’s almost impossible and frustrating. I have bought a few bundles of gems but find that some of the levels are almost impossible. Harrison mansion level 9 and some of the spider web ones are impossible. Have decided that once my gems are used will give up the game as it’s too expensive now rather than enjoyable which it used to be.

I have played this game for a long time now, and I have noticed that the bombs you can get are getting weaker and now blow up less than they used to. And some levels especially the spider web levels are incredibly difficult now, it can take days to get them done if I can do them at all, quite a few times I have come close to uninstalling the game, it is very frustrating at times.

Love this game and always happy when I win unlimited lives for and hour or so. Only thing is, you never seem to complete house and I find myself doing the mini games, rather than trying to unlock another house. Only gripe is that some of the levels are really frustrating and hard to complete. A little more clearance of houses you have uncursed would be better

Your advert for the game is false advertising it is nothing like the game at all shame. I’ve played match 3 games since they started & virtually all of them give you the chance to build up various gifts, coins & useful items sadly I will not be uploading again

This could be a great game but unfortunately, it is made much more difficult than it should be by manipulation of the falling blocks which change the expected formations!!...the only way to achieve a win is to buy assists, the progression through the buildings is extremely complex anyway, with in most cases 3 stages of achievements and even this is made more difficult by not winning the required items for each building even when you do win. I have spent my last on this game, when it’s gone I won’t be playing any more!

This isn't just a match the tiles game, there are mini jigsaw puzzles, and when you win the pieces through winning the matching tiles, the rewards are great, 48hrs of free lives, gems and bonus tools.
It's very addictive, and you can buy extra lives, gems etc with real money.. So make sure security is in place....
I would definitely recommend this game if you love challenges along the way.

What is the point of making the games so difficult with out spending loads of cash I thought is was illegal to only let you win if you pay but I’ve noticed since I’ve been playing that if you pay for gems the levels are do able otherwise there impossible I’m thinking of cutting my losses and deleting it shame because I did enjoy playing it 😰😰😰😰😰😰😰

The game is fun to play, but has a fundamental flaw with the game play. Most games have an element of skill or luck that determines if you win or loose a life. This game isn’t intelligent when it comes to the boards - it will happily set you boards that just can’t be solved regardless of your skill. It will reset the board when there are no possible matches, but you may have wasted all your moves getting it to there. I’ve had several games that reset after one move as the board was impossible. Needs better AI to ensure you have a chance

Thought I’d give it a go as it looked like a good twist on the 3 match games. Don’t bother unless you want to spend a huge amount of cash for the power ups. Only on the 3rd of many buildings/puzzles and it’s already far too difficult to clear without them. Therefore to progress without repeating the same puzzle over and over with the meagre 5 lives you get in a vain hope you might just be lucky to complete it will need to spend real cash for the power ups. This is fine if you re OK with that but not for me. I feel this type of game should be banned and all games should be purchased to play with each game having a trial version FOC to try. You like, you buy knowing how much you re going to spend rather than being hooked into a game and being forced to spend spend and spend more to complete it. This is almost like gambling IMO.
