Very disappointed with photo book. I usually use free prints who have never let me down but as this was a special photo book I thought I’d pay more. The quality of the book isn’t very good and the quality of the book and size are both very disappointing considered it cost nearly £40. I’ve had better photo books off of groupon for £6.99. I’m afraid I can’t recommend.

Exceptional service
I have only just started using Popsa. I believe albums are the best way to preserve memories. The app is very easy to use. I found the editing facilities particularly easy and I was impressed with the professional outcome. The backup service support is exceptional. Good app easy to use
Easy to use and great features such as 3D image of the final product for you to look at. Also love that it saves automatically so you can come back and edit at any time! Would say that the importing of the photos needs work as it put them in a random order so had to keep going back and forth to get them in the right order which was quite time consuming. Also it would be nice to have more options in regards to placement of the photos, a lot of the shapes of the templates mean you need to cut off certain pictures. Overall a good app would definitely use again and will recommend to people

I spent quite a bit on this photo book, and I was really disappointed with the delivery. It arrived with damage to the corners because it wasn’t packaged well enough to protect it.
The print quality is pretty awful; you can actually see the individual dots from the printer, which is unacceptable for the price. Some page edges have scuffs, and the front cover photo looks terrible, including the title. The colour accuracy is also off—some images are way darker than they should be, which completely ruins the effect.
On top of that, the binding feels flimsy, and I worry about how long it will last. When I reached out to customer service about these issues, they were unhelpful and even denied my request for a refund. I was expecting a premium experience, but this feels more like a rushed project. Overall, it just feels low quality, and I regret choosing this company—I should have gone with someone else.

Enjoyed using the app. Must say very easy to add more pages and change to your own templates and look of your album and background colours. Also nice touch that you can add some writing depending on what template you choose. Also doesn’t delete which is a fabulous touch because it took me ages to put together so I was very impressed that it didn’t disappear after so many hours/days. Easy to flick through and check your happy with everything before purchasing and even after you can still enjoy what you put together as it doesn’t affect your final album. Now looking forward to receiving my beautiful album I put together. Perfect gift for all to receive on any occasion. Easy to use
I have been wanting to turn my photos on my phone into a photo book for years but some applications I looked at were so complicated - not this one. It’s so easy to use and the options for the page lay out, colour boarders, and script is all so easy to add or change. The quality of the photos once printed are fantastic I am so happy with the results. I will definitely use this site again and have already recommended it to friends and family.

Simple and Easy!
I have been making photo books for the past 10 years and they usually take me 3 hours to produce; this photo book making website only took me 10 minutes. I can’t actually believe that it was simple and quick to do. Simply click on the photographs you want to include and they do all the work for you; with only a few clicks to adjust sizing and background colours; the hard work is done for you. This is has to be the best company on the market to date.

Brilliant company with excellent customer service
I’ve used Popsa for 2 photo books, a calendar, and a Christmas tree ornament. Each time, the quality has been superb. Regular notifications of the status of your order, and always lots of offers to watch out for. I had to contact customer support once for my error in an order and it was resolved with no problem at all. I would definitely recommend Popsa. I hope they can do a few more items in the future.

Not the service I expected
It was easy enough to upload photos and make the book but nobody warned me to leave the photos in the original location site for at least two weeks. I ordered a photo book for my daughter's 40th birthday and saw that it would arrive a good week before her birthday - according to Popsa. I chased the order and was told that there was an issue as some of the photos could not be uploaded. I had to go back to the original order on the app and upload them again. This was not explained at the outset and I had not been alerted to the issue, although customer service said I would have received notification of a problem??? No I didn't. It is lucky that I asked for an update but it still took another week with me chasing and the book did not arrive in time for my daughter's birthday. Popsa were NOT helpful and kept making excuses - not at all satisfactory and I will not use them again.

Lacking Customisation
Ok if you want to just want to upload and order. No option to change layout of all pages together and layouts are automatically applied. When trying to create a square book from instagram, I wanted a single photo on each page in order. 3 pic layouts were applied but each page has to be changed to single photo manually. When you do this the two photos are removed but not kept within the book, so would have to be added again, but at the end of the book! Needs more setting so you can select layout and design for the whole book then add the photos, then when adding new pages your choice of layout is automatically applied. This makes it far too time consuming so have up on creating a book.

The 3D preview is perfect , you can view what your album will look like and flick through each page and then make alterations as required . I’m going to build up my own little collection of these . Almost effortless
I’ve used Popsa three times this week to make gorgeous glossy photo books for Xmas presents. All done literally in minutes from photos on my iPhone. You just upload the photos and the app arranges them in an attractive way. If you want to reorganise the way they are laid out, change position, template or use different photos, It’s so easy to rearrange everything. Everything is saved between editing and saved after you’ve finished and ordered your book (other photo sites I’ve used don’t keep a record.) Shipping is quick and the books are lovely quality. Highly recommend!

Needs significant improvement
I assumed this app would be a lot smarter than it actually was. It couldn’t figure out which of my photos was portrait and which was landscape and it randomly put landscape photos in portrait frames and viceversa. The process for picking photos when putting them in a page with multiple photos was really painful and annoying I assumed they’d let you select multiple photos at the same time and instead you had to keep adding them one by one. I hope the result will be nice but the process of putting together and really be improved with these two things.

Poor packaging
Good app, easy to use. Left a 5 star review when I first ordered but before receiving the item.
My Two books arrived, both damaged (damaged in manufacturing - pages glued together so ripped when opening, not damaged during postage) they reprinted and replaced them which is fair enough and was good customer service.
But when they arrived by post, I wasn’t in, my partner, who the present was for was in and on the packaging they have the company logo on it which is completely unnecessary, especially when it’s a gift website with limited products. So it’s pretty much gave away the secret of what I’ve bought her for Mother’s Day. I spent ages sourcing the photos from people to keep it secret from her, and as it’s not cheap, feels like a waste of £50+. Not a big deal to some, but I like presents I buy to be suprises for people so this has knocked the shine off her having it next week.

Bringing together some of my memories
I really enjoyed creating my book, it was easy to change and add photos. Had I not seen the advertisement to create the photo book from your phone, I wouldn’t have my beautiful book.
Unless I’ve missed some instructions, the only thing I was surprised that I couldn’t do was to edit my photos… but I may have missed the instructions. I would also have liked all pages to be the same background colour, including the inside front cover.

Random and infuriating
advertised as easy to use and user-friendly, I found the opposite to be the case. Yes it’s easy to get pictures on pages but from then on it all goes downhill. The images are selected by the app very randomly and in no particular order, so ordering them as you want is hard. Getting the photos grouped on a page or a run of pages as you want is tricky. If there are several versions of a photo it’s hard to select from the tiny thumbnails. Once you’ve got the pictures on the page adjusting the sizes is hard and there seems to be no way of selecting anything other than the middle of an image if it has been cropped to fit the layout. All in all I found this app opaque and hard to use, spending quite a bit of money to produce a book I wasn’t happy with doesn’t seem like good value to me. So thanks Popsa but no thanks

Quite difficult if you're not tech savvy
Whilst I managed to order my book, I'm not a particularly tech savvy person and I found it quite difficult to work out what to do if a photo didn't fit the space on the app. A younger person would probably sort it in seconds but I feel for older people instructions on making changes to the order need to be clearer. Also rather annoyed that I have paid £10 for an express delivery but am still sitting here 2 days later waiting for my order. I may as well just have used standard delivery.

ATTENTION!!! Bad customer service and unsustainable :(
WOW, it’s amazing! By downloading this app, not only are you burning fossil fuels, you’re also promoting deforestation and the destruction of trees and their forests. Please delete this app if you’ve downloaded it, and please take this off the App Store. It is wasteful and ignorant. As if technology wasn’t wasteful enough with things like; combustion, emissions, carbon fuels, carbon monoxide poisoning, burning of fossil fuels and other non-renewable energy and more (but I think you get the point) - you had to go and make it 10 times worse. For every photo album you request approximately 3 trees are being cut. So if 10 people want 10 albums each, they could collectively bring down an entire rainforest.

Love this but wish it was not so expensive for what it is or at least a discount on having several done would be better, you’d make more money as many more orders would come in and also I know people who have ordered this not fully understanding how to fit photos to page frames so it would be nice if a member of your staff could look at it to ensure heads etc are not cut off!
Thank you though it’s a great idea especially in this digital world where everything is on a computer it’s lovely to have it in a book you can flick through and guests can look at without having to get them on a computer or phone etc.

Easy start now to explore more features
I found it relatively easy to select the pictures from a recent trip and the software seemed to do a good job of placing most of the pictures in the right sized frame and group. I did alter some content by deleting a stray picture and then reducing the number of pictures on the page with surprising ease.
I would have liked an option to select all pictures within a specific Apple photo album rather than select each and every one but maybe there is an alternative approach I need to consider next time.
Good first experience and am now awaiting the finished product to see the print quality. More reviews to follow ….. 😀

Brilliant
So easy to use. A lot easier than apps I’ve previously used. I had to create three similar photo books using some of the same photos. After finishing one album I could use that template and swop the photos around. I can’t believe how easy it was. I have not received the books yet so I can’t comment on time it took to receive or what they turn out like but the app was amazing. I will definitely use again and highly recommend. Thanks 😊

App Easy & Intuitive!
The app is super easy to use to put together an album anywhere / anytime. You can edit whenever you like, so very easy to use if busy - you just come back to it when you have time. Editing, dragging pictures, changing order and adding photos from your phone is super easy! There are lots of layout designs but you can’t select different themes for different pages you need to select just one. No possibility to add images / drawing or have different font / style of captions on pages (e.g in a speech marks) - this part is kept simple but didn’t put me off at all given how quick and easy it is to put a book together! Can’t wait to see the end result!

Decent app, frustrating customer service
Simple enough to use the app, and I created and ordered a c. £40 photo book for my toddler son as a keepsake. They didn’t provide a PDF proof, which others have mentioned and doesn’t align with in my experience with other photo book providers. I thought maybe it was due to people using their software and then having the PDF printed elsewhere but when I requested a PDF copy after ordering and paying, they flat out refused. I would have happily paid a couple of extra quid for it, but their customer support staff were adamant. So now, to make sure I can preserve the work I’ve done, I’m going to have to take the book to be scanned once it arrives, rather than someone just clicking print to pdf at their side. Really frustrating and an unpleasant end to what was a decent experience.

No account control
4 days later - Having created an account - I created a simple print request but did not purchase. At no stage upto that point was there any access to personal detail including log out. Only when I clicked back did the option to select personal details including log out. If I had not created the print and placed in basket - and having logged in I could not log out from within the app.
Loaded the app with a view to making use of some of what was on on for sale I checked to see where my account was and I couldn’t find it on the app screen I could not find anywhere to delete the account other than that when I tried to delete the app it says it doesn’t work please contact support . I didn’t find a lot of information that I needed to feel comfortable with this app at the outset eg my account and sign out faculty.I checked the web to try and find out how to delete my account in detail and it illustrated screens that did not appear on my iPhone. I never got to the stage of trying to purchase anything primarily because it then asked me to have access to my phones and in the absence of any other information mentioned previously I chose not to go any further. Sorry for the not so good report at this time

Overall this was extremely easy to do, other than I tried to delete a couple of photos from the proffered layout but couldn’t find a way to do that - gave up, guessed perhaps have to return to initial picture-selection, but too weary to go back. Bit of a surprise to suddenly be presented with additional £12 charge for option of gloss pages, which I had naively(?) expected anyway. As this is my first attempt at anything like this, obviously I am interested to see the finished result and whether my choices were the right ones.

First Time album Maker
I really enjoyed making this photo album & found it very easy
on the part of the company who explained it well & was delighted with the price. I’m not say I personally made it an art work but pleased with my first attempt. Photos were all sizes back from before 1900 & just can’t wait for the album to arrive & excited to getting on with making more.

My Chippenham Garden
I stumbled across this app while just scrolling on my phone. It tweaked my interest so I looked deeper. I have recently moved and the only regret was that I couldn’t take my garden with me. The garden was twenty years in the making and I know it has now been changed beyond my recognition which I had to accept would probably happen. I have many wonderful photos on my phone of the front and back. I wasn’t sure how easy it was going to be and I gave it a go, there and then. Within literally minutes I had the photos uploaded and set out the pages following the instructions. It was as easy as that. I am going to love this photo book because I can already see my results on the app. Can’t wait to receive it. I now have several ideas on how I can use this app for more personal photos and for my business!

Fantastic quality
The quality is amazing! The book is gorgeous! I’ve ordered 2 books and I’m in the process of ordering 2 more books you know my son is now 1 years so we have taken many many pictures! I would highly recommend it! Also the customer service is absolutely fantastic I had an issue of one picture not uploading and they sorted it out immediately! I’m a definitely returning customer and very very satisfied

Easy to use - but but expensive
I’ve found this to be one of the easiest to use Apps and the books I’ve received are good quality. However - I feel that it’s over priced in comparison to others. The discounts are a bit annoying as hidden in the T&Cs they only apply to the standard product so any extra pages etc don’t get discounted. So for example on my book I’ve just created so that I could take advantage of a promo, the 30% discount gave me about £8 off a £65ish product and then with £4 (the lowest delivery option) I saved around £4. But by the time you invest in creating the book you can’t really just bin it. Doesn’t feel like 30% and I won’t be using again.

Brilliant App
Allowed me to create a photo book soooo quickly as it automatically groups and arranged photos on a page for you. Changes were quick easy and intuitive! I will be using it much much more!! A few suggestions for improvements please Popsa
- I’ve just received my book, and the writing on the spine is tiny tiny - i didn’t notice this as a setting I could change?
- also, it would be nice to be able to put writing in place of a photo in some of the templates (or even as an overlay/sticker style). I know there are templates with text but they look like space for mini essays rather than just the title of the place you’ve been.
- finally, could you have a mini library of the photos you’ve selected for the photobook whilst you are reordering them etc, rather than having to start from scratch to find the photo again if you loose it or delete it?

Order hasn’t arrived . Customer service very poor
I really wanted to make a photo book for my daughters 18th Birthday. I came across popsa and decided to give it a go. I found the process of adding photos pretty easy, but what use is that when you don’t receive your order !. Customer service were not at all helpful. I must of emailed around 8 times . I had a couple of replies telling me there is at least one photo not uploaded but I keep getting a message on the app saying all photos have been uploaded and sent to the printers .I have followed all the troubleshooting options but I still have no idea if I will actually receive this order. I’m very frustrated as my daughters birthday has been and gone. I even paid £12 for rush delivery. I am now £40 out of pocket and there is no number to call to rectify this problem as emailing seems useless.

2 photo albums
It took a long time to edit these albums as it was not straight forward to download extra photos. My albums started to merge into each other. I had to delete photos from my first album that appeared in my second album. It took me a very long time. It would be advantageous to have instructions on each page of the process. Eg..on the download page, how to delete unwanted photos and also add additional ones.
I look forward to receiving my albums and will give an update when they arrive.

Blown away by the ease of this
I’ve been making photo albums online for years, and just lapsed last year due to lack of time, and this year wasn’t looking great either. I realised that all my photos were on my phone and although concerned it would be difficult to edit on the small screen, I thought it was worth giving it a go. I’m so glad I did! It is the opposite of difficult to edit. Make sure your photos are cropped etc. before you start, and it’s quicker to select all the photos at the beginning before you start moving around the pics and pages etc. as you have to upload one picture at a time, if you add more later. Easy to do, though. The app is really intuitive - no need for any help guides; everything is where you think it will be. Photos uploaded super quickly and it was easy to swap around pics, change layouts and page order, as well as insert and delete pages. Purchase was easy and very reasonably priced, and now I eagerly await my album. If the quality of the album is as gold as I hope, I will definitely be doing all my albums from here from now on.

Account can’t be found
I ordered 4 photo books and it’s gone fine, but just this weekend I ordered another 2 photo books, 1 of it the pictures are uploaded, but the other one got a problem uploading, so they cannot process my photo books, I paid for it already, what I did was to log out of the app, without knowing that when u log out you cannot retrieve all your past orders, and all of your details are not to be found, when I opened the app again they are asking of your email, and they sent me the same email like the one they sent the first time I used the app, as if your a new user of the app, how can this be, it is supposed to be the continuation of your account, why is it opening another user???I tried to email the support group, and until now they haven’t replied my email, I really like your app, but if this can’t be resolve, i have no option but to stop patronising your app,

Absolutely amazing
After going through a number of websites and apps to create photo books, Popsa is the best by a good few miles.
Incredibly easy, quick and intuitive to use, Popsa does not only offer incredibly competitive/affordable prices, the quality of the finished product is second to none, when mixed in with the amount of freedom and creativity you have through the designs/colours etc the app has to offer.
To me, there is no competition. Popsa comes out on top every time.

Brilliant!
I tried other photo book creation apps but got really frustrated with them and gave up. Popsa was so easy and intuitive to use. What really helped was the ability to swap the photos around really easily and you could see from your album which ones had already been used. Adding captions and editing was a very quick and simple process. I really enjoyed using this app and highly recommend. The 20% discount was useful and overall it was a cheaper option.

So easy !
As someone who does not have great patience with web sites I must say that this was a very easy and straightforward experience. I have ordered my first book and expect to order others in the future. The most difficult bit is deciding which pictures to include. I made a separate folder in pictures on my iPad first so I had a good idea which ones to put in. The website even arranged the pictures In date order which made it easier. I can’t wait to receive my first book .

Absolutely Fantastic!
I got a book made up as a gift and I was extremely pleased. The layout and wording was exactly as I had made it. Quality is brilliant. Very neat and tidy.
App is easy peasy to use and navigate around. So simple to edit, add photos and coloured borders etc.
The only thing I’d recommend doing is, if you’re in a hurry for them, pay extra for quicker delivery.
As they are printed and shipped from Holland, it took almost two weeks to arrive. I wasn’t in a hurry to receive it so it wasn’t an issue for me.
I’d definitely use it again for sure!!!!

So easy and great quality
I stopped doing photo books about 3years ago as it took literally hours to upload photos to the host website then ages to organise the book - a painful experience. Popsa is SO easy to use, very intuitive and I like the fact that once you’ve selected a photo it greys out so you can’t duplicate it. I also like it that you have time to make amendments once you’ve placed an order. The quality is wonderful. I would have liked to have added text but didn’t realise I could do it until I came to review the app and see that you can do this now. Will be using Popsa for my photo books from now on. Great app.

Amazing app!
This app is brilliant. So fast and intuitive. I just made the most amazing photobook of my last holiday (112 pages). It overcomes the challenge of having to download photos from your phone to a computer and re-organise them again. I simply created an album within my iPhone photos and used the auto-fill function. Then I tweaked the layout to taste. Because it’s an app on my phone I was able to ‘work’ on my photobook on the go or when I had a few mins spare. I did have an issue with the app crashing (I thought it was due to the size of book & no of photos), but the app support team were great in advising me of an update coming soon and the steps to make the upgrade. To my surprise it retained the info, photos and arrangement of my photobook. I can’t wait to receive my first book via this app. Highly recommended.

Wow
Ok used this for the first time and was a little worried as I had read some negative reviews before downloading .... but I thought I’d give it a go. The team have obviously taken on board the previous reviews as I found the app really easy to use. Adding captions was easy as was deleting and moving photos about. I now await my delivery and hope the photo book is of a good quality ..... we will see. So far tho I think the app is excellent and if my delivery turns up and is as I expect I will be using again and again.

Brilliant service and really easy to use
I very rarely write reviews but I feel obliged based on the fantastic service I have received today. I wanted to create an album capturing my daughter’s first 6 months. The app was very easy and straightforward to use. However, I realised the following morning after I had placed my order that I had missed some photos. The customer service team went above and beyond to let me edit the album...I doubt any other company which I have used for this sort of thing over the years would have done the same. Looking forward to seeing the end product!

Poor customer service and quality of the photo book
If I could give 0 stars I would. I wanted a Popsa photobook for my newborn baby’s photos. I went and ordered one. When I went back on to my order history the colour theme was totally different to what I was ordered. Contacted the customer support, they took 2 days to reply. And gave me some advice to reorder. Received the photo book after few days. Have to say the delivery was fast. But the cover photo on the front cover has been cropped and my baby’s head is not in the picture. Had to Contact them again still waiting for a solution. Very poor service. Not recommended to anyone.

I’m on my fourth book, it’s addictive, so easy to do, easy to move pages around so you can put the pages in order of the event, it’s a great way to show friends your photos with out them getting damage, great price and you can still print of your photos to put in a frame. Have a go ,they have a wonderful customer service department,ready to help. Warning if a photo has some missing when you have down loaded it to the book just go in to edit a press make fit .sorted .

Easy job!
Super easy to navigate and the creation of my very first 20 page/52 photo book utilising just my mobile phone took about an hour and a half all told. It’s simple to move photos around and change page order and there are many page templates borders and colours to choose from. Price is very competitive with other sites I checked out and the 20% discount on this, my first order was most welcomed. If the quality of the books is good, I’ll definitely be creating more books using this app.

Non existent customer help & support
The automatic photo ordering doesn’t account for photos you’ve selected in portrait and so required manually going through and repositioning. Unable to make any of the photo templates bigger and so was left with big grey spaces between some pictures which looks odd.
Submitted my order and realised I’d made an error and accidentally selected a soft rather than hard book at the very beginning of the order and wasn’t given an option to change before submitting the order. Thought it would be relatively easy to change if I contacted Popsa quickly enough - immediately contacted Help and Support via the in app function but got no response. Couldn’t make this change via the ‘edit order’ function in the app’. Contacted Popsa twice more but all 3 emails have been ignored. Have now received a product I didn’t want and will need to use an alternate company to receive one that’s good enough to give as a gift. Wouldn’t bother using again!

Not quite there
I guess it’s east if you don’t customise your photo book at all. But once you start changing the layout and moving photos around there’s a lot of maintenance overhead involving deleting pages (which I could not find out how to do), and filling in the new vignettes with photos. Would expect the app to automatically shuffle photos around if you add/remove vignettes and plan the page layout based on photo orientation and faces in the pictures so they’re not cropped or similar undesirable scenarios. Guess you could fall back to a fully manual mode but still offer some way to automate common tasks (you never want empty vignettes, and you could lock down vignettes or pages or sections to prevent them from being rearranged). Or maybe all it needs is for the interface to be a bit clearer and easier to manage with less effort.

Awesome
I had always used Mac books. Then they folded. We went on a trip with 10 friends and they all sent me their photos. I didn’t want to have to get them all into my laptop so I used my phone and Popsa. Easy peasy. Coloured framers. Many choices of layout. Can move whole pages up n down. Add pages. Once photos are added they turn grey so you’re aware that photo is now in the book and can’t reuse it. I’d like to see a page where you can add text. I took a screen shot of text and added it in as a photo but not a very satisfactory solution. Well done tho. Will use Popsa again. Xx

Thank you so much! Lovely book for my daughters 21st! I had to edit a few times and was refunded! At first I was worried about ordering as no phone number to speak to anyone but in fairness once I worked out emailing customer services all my issues were rectified without having to speak via a telephone! The quality of the book was very good. Smaller than I anticipated but happy with size! So of the prints I downloaded were blurry but in fairness Popsta did notify me about this! They provided me with a good service and got the book out to me in time! Would recommend!

Making my book
The demo I got in the ad was great, looked really easy. The experience of creating was not as easy for me. Initially the set up created a move book for me. But when it came to amending it, that was a different matter.
The fact that it loses photos and doesn’t place them at the end when you amend the page layout, is so annoying. The only way to rectify this is to swap the photo out with one you don’t want. It’s so random the way that it selects a replacement .
I also managed to lose the hole book twice because when trying to delete an individual photo I deleted the book instead because it’s not clear.
I think it would benefit from some modifications or some help text boxes to show you how to use as the icons are not all useful, maybe more functions.
It’s a shame because initially it was very easy to create. I suggest to anyone trying to use that you select a larger quantity of photos that you don’t want and this will allow you to move pages and photos around that you don’t mind losing later. It took me ages, but I am pleased with the final result

Very impressed
Used the Popsa app for the first time last week. It’s a brilliant app, very versatile and really easy to get around. The fact that I can move photos and pages around is brilliant. The book I ordered arrived very promptly, was nicely packaged and looks great. I will certainly be using them again. Customer services are good too, came back with a reply to my query straight away. I have tried a few similar apps, and this one impressed me the most. I would make one suggestion to improve the app, and that would be the ability to add text or captions with or beneath the photos.

Hello Having already tried placing an order several weeks ago only to have to regrettably cancel, I was very happy at how quick and efficient Declan was in dealing with both my request and subsequent full refund .
